got theeee most beautiful portrait of post-the departing/aurene's ascention keres today from @inspiderwiht i love it soooooo much!

She lost her horns and hair to Balthazar in the departing. Her hair starts growing back white after, and she keeps it short. And then when Aurene ascends, she gives Keres her pretty branded horns!

This turned out sooo gorgeous, thank you for the lovely work as always!

When Eris was little and express his curiosity in the piano. Keres played for him a few tunes. When he express his interest in learning, she was happy to teach him a few songs.

As the lessons became more frequent, the high lord decided to assigned him a proper instructor of his choosing. Might as well train him in courtly music in the events of entertaining guest. Plus it wasn’t proper in Beron’s eyes for his wife’s lady companion to be teaching his son.

A little idea on how there were moment for Keres to bond with the Vanserra sons but it was never given much time or chance to build it up.

Apart from being LoA’s companion , she has minor work in managing the forest house staffs and sometimes being governess to young daughters of autumn nobles.

I think about my bug oc and how for the fever dream she had it. But also hallucinated that she saw the man that killed her mama. So in a rage she ended up fighting Bodie (sloppily) only to be knocked out by Timmy with a pan.

When she woke up she cried, that was one of the few times the boys saw her, not that confident snarky front she uses. Just a girl who wants her mama back, and was feeling too many emotions at the moment.

So I kinda wanna ask the bug army did your bug go through the fever like Keres did? Or were they tame and just suffering physically?
