#oc: jiaoxue

so you got some MK OCs I hear? 👀

answering an ask from september WHOOOOPS sorry moot

anyways i have like 3 1/2 mk ocs but jiaoxue is the only one i've ever actually finished a piece for so here she is

splat. she's a cringe edgy loser with semi barbarian-style rage magic or something (never figured that part out) really vague and poorly written lore below

her father was a well-respected lin kuei member until he betrayed them by spilling their secrets to a different clan that he fled to after the betrayal. in retaliation the LK attacked and burned down her family's home with them inside, killing all but her. she trained for years with this rival clan (who i haven't named yet whoops,) hellbent on vengeance. even though her clan pulled her in different directions and raised her with other ambitions in mind, she'd always had her eyes set on one thing: the lin kuei's grandmaster, that ordered the slaughter of her family. eventually, she's given an opportunity to go for her goal, sneaking into the LK fortress against the wishes of her own clan to make an assassination attempt against the old grandmaster. she fails. badly. it's kuai liang and bi-han that catch her too which is even worse

her own clan offers her up as like... idk, an apology? to the lin kuei, cause they don't want her lame ass. even though jiaoxue had failed to kill the grandmaster, she had still snuck all the way in, which is further than most people had ever gotten. recognizing her skill, the LK's grandmaster accepts. boom she's lin kuei now. i might switch up her lore later but this is what i've got for now

she HATESSS all three of the brothers but finds tomas the most tolerable cause he gets it. hates sektor too. finds cyrax also tolerable. i love you jiaoxue my pathetic failgirl

if i actually manage to draw the other two (and a half) i'll add them BUT i can tell you their vague concepts

katja is a small little black dragon freak with a mech suit. hate her ass

then there's a guy i haven't named yet (im so bad at naming my ocs) but he's a funky little werewolf monk with anger problems. sorry king i gotta pay more attention to you

lastly is just a beautiful vaeternian man that lives in my sketchbook and nowhere else
