Posting some about my FARCRY OCs, I'd love asks about them but definitely not forced !! Just need somebody to rant to about these gooblies
Posting about ones in 6 in particular. Farcry 4 is next !
Here:
Passing The Torch is the name of a story taking place within Yara. During the Castillo regime, as the empire begins to fall, an outcast finds his purpose in the revolution.
Synopsis is basically;
Javier, a guerilla of La Moral, is trying to focus on something less than violence, more towards helping others, after promising his brother to honor his family's past generations of guerillas. Along the way he meets other guerillas to create one of his own small factions (recreating his family's), El Fuego De La Familia. Meanwhile, Passing The Torch follows Basilio and Álvaro, brothers who work with the FND to catch rebels, as Javier has been causing enough problems to get his name on a list.
Character descriptions are hard, but I tried here with Javier and some others !;
Javier is used to the chaos of Yara. Before joining La Moral at 21 years old, he knew his fair share of pilfering shops and watching riots (such is life as an Outcast), but quickly grew into the man he is today. Javier is a fierce guerilla, but as organized as La Moral is, he's never kept a certain type of job. Instead of information, Javier works as a line of defense against any soldier, intel or not, until demanded otherwise. While he hates that Yara had to resort to war, Javier is prideful in what he does and as such his main weapon is a flag with a spear on the end. Despite being a part of La Moral, he believes a revolution is not won by factions refusing to work with one another, believing that their organization will be the one to win the war instead of wanting to do everything they can to fight together and win. While stubborn and hardheaded by nature, Javier is fighting his own battle with learning to work with others. He is learning how to stop the bloodlust he's gained from his experience in war and replace it with more genuine compassion he needs to be a real person.
Matías keeps to himself, and he thinks that's all people need to know about them. They're reserved and closed off, but not necessarily cold, offering help to those who need it - Still, he isn't good at growing close to people. He's a free spirit and doesn't like to be bound to a particular title. He's spent most of his life to this point taking up odd jobs here and there for each resistance group before ultimately (and begrudgingly) joining Libertad, but he yearns to stay alone on the beaches of Yara where he thinks he belongs. He simply doesn't get told what to do in the revolution. This doesn't mean he isn't a passionate fighter, however, as while he does most of his work alone, he's an efficient killer and a beast in the water.
Dayamy is an undercover guerilla. Her past and her lack of experience gives her the fear of fighting, but there is something she can do. While she works (sometimes directly) with María Marquessa to be an artist and designer for propaganda, she is heavily inspired by many artists and fighters (including another character, Antonio) to create propaganda for the other side as well. She often paints over her own art (with a style she prefers) for Libertad, La Moral, and Maximas Mantanzas. She has her guerilla friends, but for the most part, nobody in her line of work knows what she does. While non-confrontational and a humble sweetheart when she's working with the government, she's secretly very proud of her work, loves the mischief, and gets cocky inside when she sees her artwork on the news.
Basilio follows orders right then and there. He works directly for Bernal and was top of his class in military school growing up, from training, to actual experience, to, hell, even saluting. Despite this, his discipline does nothing to affect his true morals. He knows he'll be hanged, enslaved, or worse if the truth comes out about something he's done, which will be immediately revealed if he even hints to his agreement with Libertad. He never asked to join the FND, but he knows no matter his experience, he will never escape the government, even if he did join the revolution like he longs to. When his time is off, he does whatever he can to erase the guilt (which often means coming to work the next morning, gritting his teeth, attempting to push back his hangover). His best days are when he's doing nothing but guarding something. Still, despite the guilt, largely, a part of him is still loyal to Castillo after the years and years of saluting to the same flag unquestionably.
Álvaro is just an FND soldier like Basilio, but something stands out, and it's his wounds. His lack of skin due to acid burns, his deformed lips, his scars - Before joining the FND, he had experienced severe torture from Libertad, and it had made him so resentful he wished to join the FND. He's a much lower rank than Basilio, constantly in pain, but pushing against it. When he gets off work he's a crybaby, spending hours sobbing into whatever can muffle it. However, at work, he forces himself to follow orders, even if he's not exempt from the sounds of pain he makes during training or combat, or anything, really. But he keeps the source of the pain on the down-low, and rarely speaks about it... Because the truth is that he was never tortured by Libertad at all.
Anyways, thanks for reading this far if you did. It'd mean a lot if you commented but of course it's completely up to you ! (Comments > reblogs > likes for this post personally !)

carlos isn’t one i have heard abt what’s his DEAL
OKAY SO
Carlos is in the Uncharted universe I have with my friend @hanalwayssolo. And I'm tagging her because I created Carlos to actually be the younger brother of her oc Javier. He's not actually a treasure hunter, neither of the Bernal boys are. They're in a cartel LOL
But he's Leti's best friend/childhood sweetheart/first love/soulmate LMAO
Carlos's and Javi's dad was a cartel kingpin and Javi took over the business and Carlos ended following his lead.
Their mom was into theater, and Carlos was always with mom when she was around so he developed an interest inncostume design. This is important! BECAUSE!
He designed Leti's prom dress and flew all the way to the US from the UK to surprise her with it and also to be her prom date.
Basically everyone who knows both Leti and Carlos and had the opportunity to watch them meet when they were kids and then watch them grow together knew Leti and Carlos were in love long before they ever realized the other loved them.
Carlos being created literally torpedoed my Rafe and Leti ship LOL
#I love my Uncharted universe#there's just#SO SO MUCH MATERIAL THERE OKAY#I could talk about these two forever and still have more to say#She met him when she was 10/11 after Sam “died” in Panama#and he was the only person to get her out of her grief

I've scoured your page for your ocs so I have two. Please, all the questions for Briony and Javier?
I’m sorry if this took so long anon but all questions???? I am absolutely happy to serve! 🫡
Placing this under the cut because I got carried away with the idea of Briony and Javier meeting through a virtual chat and getting to have a conversation.
OC interview questions
1 Who makes up your family? How close are you to them?
Briony: So there's Cor, and he’s my dad. Not by blood, though.
B: Then my mom. Her name's Candela. Again, not by blood.
B: Never met my real parents. According to my mom they gave me up because my real dad didn’t want a girl as a first born. So...
Javier: so i think--and pardon me for saying this--but your real parents should rot in hell.
B: LMAO thank you for standing in solidarity with me. 🥺
B: Anyway! There's also my ten-year-old daughter, Ellie.
B: I could I say I'm close to all of them, and I love them all very much. 💖
B: So yeah. That's pretty much it for me. How about you, sir?
J: well no need to address me as sir, ‘javi’ is just fine, your majesty.
B: Please, I’d also appreciate if you’d just call me Briony. 🥲
J: alright then :)
J: ok so i have a younger brother. his name is carlos. not sure if we’re close. he can be annoying and i know i can be annoying to him. or worse.
J: then darcy, my ex-wife. my bonita and scout, darcy’s kids from a previous relationship whom i both treat as if they were my own flesh and blood. greta, emma, leticia. i know it sounds strange and i won’t go deep into our affairs but all i can say is that even after all my shortcomings, they were still very generous enough to give me another chance. so i’m grateful for our blended family.
J: as for my parents, well. mi padre--i mean my dad, our relationship was not exactly a good one. it’s more of like a professional relationship. he was only el jefe to us. nothing more.
J: my mamá, however, was the best of us. but my dad didn’t really treat her well so she ended up leaving.
B: Oh gods, I’m so sorry.
J: don’t be. my dad should be the one apologizing.
B: This is probably the reason why they put us together here. We both have issues with our real parents.
J: jajajaja looks like it.
2. Who is your best friend? Tell us about them!
B: My best friend is my husband, and his name is Gladio. He looks absolutely mean and threatening because he’s 6′6″ but he’s just about the kindest and sweetest fella I’ve ever met.
B: How about you, Javi?
J: not to put a damper on things but i don’t have one. a best friend, that is.
B: You can’t be serious? But you seem so amiable.
J: you are far too kind to me, briony. :)
B: Surely you had one before?
J: well...
J: my ex-wife. i guess she was my best friend. we’re still friends now but our relationship is not like the one we had before.
B: Oh. I see.
B: Okay then, I won’t probe further. And I apologize for even broaching the subject.
J: it’s alright, don’t worry about it.
3. What is your favorite childhood memory?
J: so my mamá is a costume designer and she often took my brother and i to the local theatre to watch musicals and shakespearean plays. we would hang out backstage and we’d help out with everyone’s costumes. i love those days.
B: Your mother sounds like a lovely woman. 💖
B: Which reminds me, when I was a kid, Mom would also take me to theatres and we’d watch all these plays, and we were always so fascinated with the music. Especially the costumes! The masks, the props, the entire production. And whenever we get home, she’d sit at the edge of my bed and we’d talk about it all night.
B: Thinking about it all makes me miss my childhood so much.
4. What is your least favorite childhood memory?
B: Now this is the question that makes me not miss my childhood at all LMAO
J: my sentiments exactly.
J: ladies first? jajaja
B: Fine.
B: When I was ten, my hometown was invaded by the Empire. I watched as one of their generals killed our queen in front of her children, my childhood friends. I was separated from my Mom for a long time because of it. That’s when Cor found me and took me in.
B: I think that changed me.
B: Sorry, no—it really did change me. Made me really angry at the Empire. For a time, all I wanted was to hunt down every single Imperial soldier who killed my friends, who destroyed my home.
B: But at this point… I’m not so sure anymore. And I’m just tired of being angry, of being so lost.
J: it’s strange. your experience somehow reminds me of my own.
B: Really? How so?
J: my father runs a cartel for a living. one day a rival cartel broke into our house and beat the living daylights out of us. my mother included. i was 8, my brother was 5.
J: my father changed after that. i wasn’t surprised that he would want revenge; he has always been prideful, self-assured. but that incident… something about it made him ruthless. the way he treated my mother changed. he also changed how he treated my brother and i, most of all. he wanted us to be stronger, demanded us to do better. he even punished us for being weak.
J: about what you said about being angry for a time, he was angry for the rest of his life. he certainly made good of his promise that he would make the rival cartel pay, and pay they did with their life. i remember him bringing my brother and i to their hideout and showed us the bodies. everything was drenched in blood. when my brother started crying, my father forced him to look and said, “this is what i am willing to do for our family. i want you to stare at it. i don’t ever want you to cower in fear over this kind of violence, do you understand?”
J: so i guess long story short: my brother and i, we somehow inherited that anger. and we’re still paying the price.
J: and i know i’m the last person you’d want to hear this from, briony, considering i’m but a stranger to you… but i hope you don’t let your anger consume you. as someone who has ruined a lot of good things in my life: anger is poison. nothing good ever comes out of it.
5. What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
J: ay dios mío, finally an easier question to answer.
B: LMAOOO IKR
B: I’ll let you go first!
J: my most favourite thing to do in my free time is to cook, make wine, and to also spend time with scout and bonita.
J: how about you?
B: I love reading books and watching movies with my daughter. She’s also been very keen recently in making costumes ever since we started going to our community theatre so I reckon she and your mom would definitely get along.
J: oh for sure. :) scout enjoys hanging out in old bookstores and i can see you and him getting along, too.
B: I would certainly love to meet him! 💖 I have a good friend who tends to a humble little book shop in my city. He’d probably have a swell time there.
6. What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?
B: Why are these questions like a rollercoaster ride????? LMAO
B: The hardest thing I’ve ever had to do is to answer all of these. And we’re not even halfway there yet!
J: likewise jajaja
J: but kidding aside though, what is the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?
B: Hmmmmm. I’d say having to raise Ellie on my own in my early twenties. I didn’t know better at the time, and even though I’m thankful that I managed to get the support I need from Cor and my friends, it was still tough having a kid during a very tough time.
J: once again, you remind me of someone i know.
B: Really? Please do elaborate, if you don’t mind.
J: not at all. darcy had scout and bonita when she was in her twenties, too. i saw firsthand how difficult it had been for her—physically, emotionally, mentally. it took a toll on her once. bonita was at the peak of her tantrums and darcy screamed at her, too, telling her, “you think your life’s hard? you’re just a bloody baby! you don’t have the right to cry!”
B: Okay, I know how stressful that situation is because I have to admit, I had a similar experience with Ellie when she was a baby. I was so stressed at work and so I cried with her when she started throwing a tantrum.
B: Being a mother is hard work. My heart goes out to Darcy, truly.
B: But honestly whenever I think about that time now, I just find it hilarious. There I was, unable to afford therapy, so I was having a breakdown with my baby LMAO
B: I do hope Darcy finds that time as something she could laugh about now.
J: oh she does. she’s very transparent to the twins and she’s shared with them her lowest moments as their mum often as a light-hearted anecdote.
J: but i have to say—despite that, all darcy’s self-deprecating jokes aside, scout and bonita are very much understanding of their mum’s circumstances, which only goes to show how she has beautifully raised the twins. bonita is especially well aware that she can be a pain in the ass and that she’s glad her mum just cried with her even when she was a baby if it meant having to get a proper scolding without her understanding a single word.
B: So… would you count that as the hardest thing you ever had to do? Raising the kids together?
J: not really, no. i mean raising the twins was hard but it’s the kind of hard that feels so easy? i hope that makes sense.
B: Yup, it does. I get it. I felt the same way with Ellie.
J: so yeah. i suppose having to leave them that is the hardest.
B: How so?
J: because i ended up hurting them.
B: Can I ask you something?
J: sure, go ahead.
B: You still love her, don’t you?
J: yes. i suppose you can say that the other hardest thing i had to do is how to stop loving her.
J: clearly i’m not very good as it.
7. Who do you look up to?
B: My Mom and Cor, for sure.
J: i’m not sure…
B: Do you mind if I take a wild guess?
J: sure, go shoot your shot.
B: You look up to Darcy. What you’re not sure about is whether to share that information or not.
J: i’m starting to hate how astute you are, Your Majesty.
B: HAHAHAHA
B: Why thank you very much.
8. What do you think had the biggest impact on you growing up?
B: Javi and I both agree that our answer here is the same as the one we gave in #4 LMAO
9. Are you a spiritual person? If yes, what do you practice?
J: i was raised a catholic but now i really don’t practice anything.
B: As for me, I was certainly raised to practice not giving a fuck about the gods.
10. Where were you born? Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
B: Born and raised partly in Tenebrae and currently living here once more. The rest of my childhood was spent between Leide and Insomnia.
J: born and spent most of my childhood in la paz, bolivia until my family and i were moving between one south american city after another in my teens. now i live in kent.
11. What is your favorite type of media (TV, movie, books, etc)? Name some specific favorites (which shows, movies, books, etc do you like)!
B: Books all the way. And Pablo Neruda has a special place in my heart.
J: it would be movies for me. i am particularly fond of historical drama and war films and my current favourite would be the one scout recommended that i watch, which was the pianist.
12. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? (on vacation or permanently!)
B: I’m actually interested to go and see where you live, Javi.
J: i could say the same with you.
B: I guess we could exchange cities for a while for a vacation, no?
J: a wonderful idea. you can run my winery and i would…?
B: attend meetings with my advisors, hold court for tenebraeans needing counsel, and help my husband train my queensguard.
J: great. i think i’ll just stick to my winery then.
B: LMAO
13. You’re given an unlimited budget to build anything you want! What do you build and where do you build it?
B: Rebuild the cities destroyed by the Empire, restore Tenebrae’s historical sights, improve the transport system, create more creative spaces for young people, among many other things.
J: i don’t think i could follow from that excellent response but all i could think of is the same thing but i’ll do it in la paz. fix everything that the cartels have destroyed.
14. What are your favorite music genres?
B: Indie rock and pop and classical.
J: Jazz. And classical, too.
15. Do you play any instruments? Which ones? How long have you been playing?
B: Unfortunately I can’t play shit for the life of me LMAO
B: Javi?
J: i’m strangely proud to admit that i do know how to play the guitar. my mother taught me when i was very young and it’s how we spent most of our time together: me playing her favourite songs while she sings along.
16. Describe your perfect day.
B: Breakfast with Gladio and Ellie, a quiet time in the library, a nice swim down at Zoldara Lake, and a day without me having to go about any royal duties. All four would in one day would be absolutely perfect.
J: A good cup of coffee, a walk down the vineyard, drive around town, getting some time with the twins.
17. What makes you laugh?
B: Ellie’s actually pretty funny and witty so she’s the one who makes me laugh the most.
J: bonita made me watch these silly videos of cats from this social media platform and i hate to even admit this but those are funny.
B: I didn’t peg you as someone who would enjoy cat videos. Color me surprised.
18. What’s the best way to cheer you up?
B: A good glass of wine should do the trick.
J: funny you should mention that because wine also cheers me up and i happen to have a winery.
B: Yes that’s me saying I would appreciate a bottle every now and then. As a treat.
19. What makes you sad?
J: can we skip this one?
B: Absolutely not.
J: okay then i guess what makes me sad is thinking about the things i’ve done in the past.
J: your turn
B: I’d say… thinking about the time I lost Ellie’s dad.
20. Describe your biggest pet peeve.
B: Idiots.
J: same.
B: Also people who are just deliberately unkind and those who refuse to change.
J: as bonita would say… big samesies
21. Describe your ideal partner.
B: I am very fortunate to have married my ideal partner and best friend.
J: then i guess i’m very much unfortunate that my ideal partner and i have already divorced.
B: Javi, I shit you not, after this interview I will hook you up with someone.
22. What’s the easiest way to flirt with you?
B: Here’s the thing… sometimes I can be completely oblivious with how flirting works. Which drives my husband mad at times because he’ll be doing this extraordinarily sweet thing and it just registers to me as him being awfully nice because there’s a special occasion LMAO
J: now that’s a relief to hear
B: LOL why!!
J: i just realized that i’m not as awkward as i think i am jajaja
B: HAHAHAH
J: to be perfectly honest, i can quickly get on with it through text or anything in the written form, which is probably the easiest way that anyone could flirt with me. but if it’s done in person, i do have the awful tendency to be oblivious. i have a number of people who have pointed this out, my brother most especially.
B: Now I’m curious to know: how did you and Darcy even started dating when you’re this awkward little duck? Like how did you even flirt with her?
J: texting was still not a thing at that time so i wrote her letters and poems.
B: Are you serious?? you say you’re awkward at flirting when you WROTE HER POEMS? Get the fuck outta here!!
23. Have you ever had a crush on someone? Do you have a crush now?
B: Um, yes. And not to be an absolute sap but my crush now is my husband?
J: don’t worry, that is completely valid.
24. What would you consider your main love language?
B: I can’t say I only have one main love language; I’m actually inclined on both quality time and acts of service, for sure. I love doing things for the ones I love and whenever I get to spend time with them, and I very much appreciate it when they do the same.
J: i’m a quality time kind of guy, and also physical touch. it is certainly nice to hold someone you love and to be held by them.
B: Goddamn the poet jumped out, good sir! 🤭

🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓 Javier and Lola - 🌞🌞🌞
I see you @oc-musings ✨💕
Javier
- Before getting dragged into the dirty business that is the cartel life, Javi was actually an art major specializing in painting and creative writing. He was an exceptionally talented artist; however, much to his misfortune, his father was vehemently against his artistic pursuits.
- Javi has a younger brother named Carlos. Although they may not seem to get along well now, when they were kids, they spent a lot of time together, even to the extent of traveling out of La Paz and to the beaches of Máncora just so they can surf. Still, despite their relationship on the rocks, Javi would do anything to protect his brother and to keep him out of trouble.
- The first time Javi took Darcy out on a date, they were on their way to a beach in Kent when his car broke down in the middle of the road. He tried to fix it but failed miserably, and so he resigned to the idea of asking his younger brother for help. Meanwhile, on a brighter side, he was still lucky—looking around, they were stranded in a gorgeous sunflower field. Good thing he came ready for a picnic, so he had to improvise; it was a far cry from his goal to take her to the ocean, but the view was scenic all the same. And so with his exquisite bottle of pinot noir, thick slices of gruyère, clementines, and pomegranates, he rolled out a blanket on the grass where they drunk and ate the rest of the afternoon away, laughing at each other’s stories and kissing in between, until Carlos arrived to their rescue, kind of ruining the moment. 😂
- He still paints in his free time as a way to destress, and his muse is always Darcy.
- Has a surprisingly soft spot for children, but this is something he wouldn’t admit out loud. When he married Darcy, he spoiled the shit out of the twins and would always say that he just doing it because he can afford to. He’s in complete denial when little Scout or Bonnie snuggle up to him and it melts his damn cold heart.
Lola
- Nadine’s little sister from another mother, and quite literally at that. They grew up together in Brighton because their dad has some major balls to have both his families live under the same roof. Surprisingly enough, both their moms became the closest friends, with absolute disdain for their father giving birth to their unlikely solidarity.
- Lola’s mom is an archaeologist, too, and has worked with the Kingsleys and Cassandra Morgan. For a time, she spent a couple of years living in Israel when her mother was assigned in Jerusalem.
- She has an eidetic memory, which would explain why she’s able to reproduce works of art with such an alarming precision.
- An absolute plant mama. Has plants everywhere in her flat as well as her underground studio in Griffin’s Lair.
- Lola has a very pragmatic and practical way of thinking. Though painting and visual arts are Lola’s truest passions in life, those weren’t the things that she pursued in college, believing that her love for art would only be diluted with formal education. Instead, because her mother adamantly wished that she get a degree, she considered her other great love: programming. And so she took up Computer Engineering specializing in Network Security, to which she realized that almost everything she learned in this field, she already learned from her peers and from the gigs she took with Darcy, and while her classes were helpful, she felt that only a little fraction of it would actually be truly beneficial in the kind of shady business she’s in. (And she’s not wrong tbh.)

💤, 🎞, 💐, 💎 + miss darcy!
@chuckhansen i’m sorry i wrote you a screaming essay about my baby lmao but the choices of prompts really... slapped. 🤧🤧🤧
💤 Napping HC
- In her twenties, naps were hardly a thing for Darcy. Perhaps its the brimming energy of her youth, but all she needs is a good cup of tea and she can function like a person without getting sleepy for the rest of the day.
- Still, when she does manage to get a nap, say, maybe accidentally falling asleep on the couch or while tinkering around with her program or reviewing her art history notes, it’s always that kind of nap in which she wakes up annoyed and frothing with hate and disoriented with time. Restful naps are so rare, it’s like a myth to her.
- Sam tries to stay away from her within the first five minutes post-nap. He knows how she cranky she can get. What he does most of the time is he leaves her a cup of tea by her desk or at the coffee table with a post-it note that says, “Today is June 4th 1999 and you’re in the living room and please drink this and calm down before you come downstairs. I love you.”
- But after having Scout and Bonnie, especially when these two were babies, good lord. She ends up dozing off in the Tube, in her office, in the loo. Oftentimes, it happens while she’s doing her laundry. Even in the shower. Like, is she still even a person or sleep personified? Who knows. She has accepted that she will no longer have a decent amount of rest, let alone a wink of it, now that she is a mum.

🎞 Movie Night HC
- Darcy has always loved going to the movie theatres, and movie nights are a weekend tradition with the Kingsleys when she and Emma were very young, so film in general played a huge role in her formative years.
- As a kid, there was a time that she watched The Aristocats more times than she could count that she ended up breaking the VHS player.
- Last full show with an empty theatre? Her absolute favourite. It’s how she spends most of her alone time to destress.
- But also her favourite: movie dates with Sam. He often takes her to watch silent films with him, and he’d just crack her up when he tries to supply his own dialogue to the characters on screen.
- Psychological thrillers and old gory movies, Darcy can endure, but horror and paranormal shit? She is an absolute coward. Once, during a stay-at-home movie night, Sam made her watch Shutter and he ended up getting punched and kicked half of the time. It was hilarious. (To him, at least.)
- “You’re unfazed with bodies being mutilated but ghosts scare you?” / “And what about it???”
- “Also you know very well I work closely with cameras so fuck you!” / “Oh there’s going to be fucking tonight I assure you but come back here baby let me protect you.”
- Another favourite of hers now that she’s a mother of two: watching old films with her kids. They always have either an insightful comment or a sassy remark that never fails to remind her of Sam.
💐 Family/Kids HC
- Darcy’s a very hands-on mama when it comes to Scout and Bonnie, even more so when they were still babies. There was a time in the middle of the night that a cybersecurity emergency in the MI5 needed her on-site assistance, and because her mum was away, she took Scout and Bonnie with her to their HQ.
- “What on earth are you thinking bringing your kids here—” / “Do you want me to stabilize this threat or do you want us to leave?” / “Uh... no, ma’am.”
- She’s also very open to Scout and Bonnie, and she’s not one to be fazed to talk to them about the birds and the bees with a Powerpoint presentation to boot.
- Movie night traditions, per usual! And also family road trips! Darcy likes spending time with Scout and Bonnie by taking them to a beach in Brighton, where Scout loves to surf and Bonnie likes to take photos.
- Darcy never expected she’d be a mother so soon in her life (and a mother of two at that) but what she never expected the most is the feeling of absolute protectiveness when it comes to her kids. She’d go feral for them, tbh.
💎 Marriage HC
With Javi
- Okay, yes, yes—maybe it is a poor choice on Darcy’s part for marrying a goddamn drug lord and this fool who once cheated on her, but Sam’s gone and she’s hard hit by grief in the aftermath of his “death”, and on top that, she was also pregnant, and she felt so desperate and sad and so fucking lonely that in her most difficult times, it was Javi who was by her side and loved her. So yes, sue her for loving this shit bag, but this shit bag got her through her toughest times.
- And also, in the absence of her baby daddy, Javi loved the hell out of the twins and treated them as his own. So how on earth could she not love him after all of that?
- The first few years of their marriage were their happiest - lots of vacations, date nights.
- Javi really tried to keep his family life away from the cartel life he’s always known ever since a kid. He really did try. He wanted something normal for a change, and Darcy gave him that. But he knew from the very start that he couldn’t have nice things (or at least, he was convinced that he did not deserve to keep it) and the deeper he got into this business he inherited from his father, the more he changed to a person he could not even recognize.
- The divorce was inevitable. And even after they have separated, there’s one thing that hasn’t changed: Javi still makes sure Darcy and her kids are safe. Anyone who dares to harm them would end up dead.
With Sam
- It’s the “two middle-aged people who have been long estranged and have loved many other people in the course of their lives and yet one look from each other all they could think of is ‘it’s always been you’” moment AND???? I AM A HO FOR IT??? I’M NOT SORRY???
- Domestic life! Cooking together! Tending their garden! A massage after a long day of work! Museum dates! Excavation trips! Finally coming home to one another!!!!!
- Do they still have their petty squabbles? Of fucking course. It’s their brand. But this time, at least they get to address each other with Mr./Mrs. like, “Oh don’t you dare turn your back on me, Mr. Drake!” or “let’s settle this in bed then, Mrs. Drake!” in arguments just to piss each other off, but then again, it does get them each other in bed.
- Sam is that husband who always goes, “Look at my wife!”
- “Also, my wife’s amazing, she maybe short but she is a blade that can kill me with a look.”
- They do have their hard days. But their hard days seem so easy because hey, you’re the only person I can imagine enduring this with and no one else.
- It felt like a natural order of things. Like this was fifteen-to-sixteen years long overdue. Having lived together for a year, for the two of them this whole thing simply felt like picking back right where they left off, but so, so much better.

AEJ + 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40!
so......i’m going to take advantage that this is not addressed to any specific OC so I’m going to do this for my home girl Lola!
2. How easy is it for your character to laugh?
Fairly easy, I should say. Like, just show her a video clip of cats and she’d be a softie.
4. How easy is it to earn their trust?
On a scale of 1-10, it would be an 11. Or a 12. Lola can make people feel as if she already trusts them, but no. She never truly does.
6. Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?
The laws are always flexible, and she can bend it in any way she can.
8. What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child?
Lola had a habit of painting a mural out of the empty walls of her father’s house with just her coloured chalk and crayons, and she often got reprimanded for it. Her mother saw talent in her for this, but her father thought otherwise. He confiscated most of her colouring materials and told her that she won’t get anywhere in life if she took her creative pursuits seriously. She was only eight years old at the time.
10. What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them?
She always tells everyone how much she loves her father. It doesn’t really quite haunt her when she does it out of spite.
12. How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?
She would excuse herself so she could deal with it in private lmao
14. What animal do they fear most?
Ugh she likes all of them for her to even fear. Even the creepy crawlies. Hand her a cockroach and she’d even kindly set it out back into the wild.
16. What makes their stomach turn?
Animal cruelty. Ugh god. She’d beat the shit out of anyone who does this, let alone anyone who tolerates this shit.
18. What embarrasses them?
Being made to do anything on stage or in front of a crowd. Accidentally emailing/texting the wrong person.
20. If they were asked to explain the difference between romantic and platonic or familial love, how would they do so?
Lola would explain this by providing a series of infographics, definition of terms, examples as seen in film and in art because she is that creative, over-the-top bitch. (This is why she and Darcy get along so well, tbh.)
25. Is sex something that they’re comfortable speaking about? To whom?
Yes, very much so. She doesn’t mind talking about it with her closest friends, and by closest friends, she only has a handful, and that pretty much includes Chloe, Darcy and her sister Nadine.
30. Who do they most regret meeting?
Javier Bernal. Rafe Adler. HAHAHA
35. How do they treat the things their friends come to them excited about? Are they supportive?
Oh god, Lola is usually an enabler so she tends to be supportive that she’d even go as far as to research on this specific thing just so she knows what to get them in the future.
40. How sensitive are they to their own flaws?
Depends. If the person who points it out to her is someone she doesn’t know, she really doesn’t give a shit. But if it’s someone whose opinion matters to her, then yes. (Usually it’s Darcy and Nadine.)
A) Why are you excited about this character?
Because I LOVE HER?? lmao but more than that, Lola’s complexities and her relationship with Nadine is what really gets me !!!!! so yes
E) Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?
Maybe? Idk. I feel like we’d get along because we both love animals, although I would admit that she would probably intimidate the shit out of me at first.
J) Did you have to manipulate or exclude canon factors to allow them to create their character?
Yes. I think that’s what makes creating an OC fun, because you have a choice to exclude a lot of canon factors and make your own canon, so yeah.

this is random but do you have any fave from your ocs? And if you also have any fave from your friends ocs? :)
Hmm. Good question. I think I go through a cycle of who my fave OCs are at any given moment. But at the moment my two at the top, that don't seem to be going anywhere any time soon, would be my OCs Leticia Cruz and Carlos Bernal. They're best friends and childhood sweethearts in the Uncharted realm. And Carlos was created to be the brother of my dear friend @hanalwayssolo 's OC Javier Bernal. Check her out, her stories and her own OCs are absolutely amazing. She is taking a hiatus from tumblr tho so she's a bit inactive there. Her ao3 is hanwritessolo if you're interesting in checking her written work out. Which I highly recommend!
As for favorites of my friend's OCs, @hanalwayssolo with her OCs Darcy, Scout, and Bonnie and the latest addition baby Chuck
And
@mandala--moons with her OC Solia!

1-10 for Carlos!! 💕✨
Once again, didn't get a notification until I checked myself and saw this lol tumblr get your shit together thanks. ANYWAY, to my not so secret anon, here's some more on Carlos.
1. Full name is Carlos Alejandro Bernal. HONESTLY when I was scrolling through my dash and came upon a gif of Mario Casas knocking someone the fuck out, Carlos was IMMEDIATELY born. I didn't even have to think about his name, I immediately thought of him as a Carlos, and then went a step further and said he was Javier's younger brother. See how easy it is for me to make up a whole new OC? The ability should frighten you.
2. No titles but does best friend extraordinaire/ soulmate count? No? Well it does to me. Met Leti when they were about 10/12 years old (psst he's older) and hit it off immediately. Her saving grace, without him who knows what would've happened to Leti or where she would've been emotionally. Literally the one who was able to pull her out of her darkest place while in the throws of grief over losing Sam. And their relationship blossomed from there. Childhood sweethearts 🥲🥲
3. Did Carlos have a good childhood? Well, as good as you could imagine it would be with a father that was a drug kingpin and ran his own cartel. He was the baby of the family and didn't really want for much. He wasn't dumb tho, he knew what his father was. Good memories always include his mom and the things they did. How she always took him and Javi to the zoo or to the museums and art galleries. Worst memories tho include seeing his father take his frustrations and anger out on his mother, the abuse and turmoil he grew up in and eventually his mother leaving his father, but leaving him and Javi behind.
4. Ooo parental relationships. Carlos had a strained relationship with his dad. Granted, he ended up following in his dad's and brother's footsteps, but he always wanted his dad's approval. He just never got it. His relationship with his mom was the best until she left and disappeared without a trace. Now it's estranged, which kills him because he loved his mom the most. He's never stopped thinking about her but every time he searched for her he hit a wall. Gives up because if she wanted to be found, he and Javi would've found her long ago.
5. Carlos has one older brother, Javier Bernal (another oc by my dear @hanalwayssolo). Growing up they were close but once their dad started grooming Javi to take over the family "business" aka the cartel, things started to change. They act more like frenemies sometimes lol they're always fighting but still fiercely loyal to one another. They will and HAVE killed people for each other if the threat was there. They get closer tho as adults, especially after the birth of Carlos and Leti's baby girl, Leila 🥲
6. Carlos was a pretty serious student when it came to his studies. He was pretty popular, what pretty boy isn't, but he was able to separate that from his studies. He just always took it seriously. Graduated from high school and then went to college for business administration. He was being groomed to take over the actual family business, which was the Bernal Winery. He did get his BA in business administration, but was still heavily involved in the cartel lifestyle. He joined that as a teen. Loved history, art, and English most thanks to his mama, but also liked math. Hated Spanish courses because they always told him his way of speaking it was wrong 🙄🙄 even tho he grew up speaking it, reading it, and writing it fluently. Also couldn't stand science.
7. Read previous answer. He was relatively popular in school, thus giving him a lot of friends. Most of them were superficial friendships. Once he was done with school he didn't keep in touch with a lot of people. His circle is small and he's okay with that. His strongest and most consistent friendship is with Leti, again meeting when they were kids and just remaining the best of friends. Even if they did have a bit of a friendship break-up for a few years, they still came back together stronger than ever.
8. Had a Maine Coon named Manolo he was gifted as a child. Preferred dogs tho. As an adult he has a dog. Bought Leti a Cane Corso puppy from a breeder that was named Bruno, so that's where he's at as an adult lol
9. I'd say Carlos likes animals and they get along well with him too. Nothing too special to note here.
10. Oh boy, the best question LOL Carlos loves kids. Decided very early on, talking 15/16 years old that he wanted kids and he wanted them with Leti. Worked with her to help Darcy with her twins, Scout and Bonnie. He took his job as babysitter very seriously, to the point he and Leti created a whole manual when it came to the twins. Who they preferred, what they liked, didn't like, what their preferences were, personality quirks, literally everything. Everyone joked Leti and Carlos were the most prepared parents even tho they didn't actually have kids of their own. Scout is his boy, but loves Bonnie just as much. Even tho she's chaos incarnate with him 🤣 he's very hands-on, would do anything for the twins no matter how big or small the favor, very protective. As a father he's the same, but takes it a step further. Protection overload, spoils his baby girl rotten, helps Leti out the most and gives her a break when needed. Really steps up to the plate most with his own child. Vows to never be like his father.
THANK YOOOUUU. It's always fun talking about my boy. Also for my not so secret anon, here's some more inspo lol
