Name: Obito

Gender: male

General Appearance: He has his father's general wild hair, but the colour is black (with silver tips). His eyes are black like his moms.

Personality: Obito has sooo much anxiety the poor boy. He is scared of many many things, but mostly scared that he lets down his father somehow. A lot of it has to do with his demanding older sister, who is hyper talented, and the fact that people always go "oh the hokage's son" when they see him. It freaks him out.

Special Talents: He has the sharingan. If that counts. He fights with a large staff and can infuse it with lighting if necessary.

Who they like better: HIs mother. Sayuri babies him.

Who they take after more: HIs father. He is a little quieter and not so demanding as his mother can be

Personal Head canon: Not once has his father ever been disappointed in him,but Obito just can't stop being worried that he might mess it up someday.

Face Claim: Absolutely Kakashi. Face, hair, stature, its his father.

Gender: female

General Appearance: She got the silver Hatake hair, but it is a little straighter than others. She wears them in pig tails and has grey eyes.

Personality: Miu is 7 years younger than Obito and 9 years younger than her older sister and is an absolute MENACE. She loves pranking, both her siblings and her parents (and her teachers), and also drags people down with her. She knows that her dad could never never be mad at her because she is the baby, so she does whatever she feels like.

Special Talents: Can summon a tiny wild cat that WILL bite you. Also very creative thinker.

Who they like better: Papa's girl. Absolutely. Kakashi is mostly done with hokaging when she is young so he is at home all the time and they spend a lot of time together.

Who they take after more: Sayuri! Miu is the only child of theirs that gets sayuri's fierce personality and easy way of feeling upset and loud demanour.

Personal Head canon: Hates Houki because he dresses like her father and she thinks thats like ultra weird. Has beef with Boruto constantly.

Face Claim: Sayuri. Rounder face and straigher hair, but she has the grey eyes of her father.

I found Sayuris name on a list of popular japanese female names. It means Lily, but I took it because I thought it sounded good. Not other reason.

Sora is a name I've loved ever since I had seen Digimon as a kid. i had used it in several fanfics up to this point and in my original fantasy novel. It means "the sky" and idk, I've always loved it.

Ko is actually the first name I have actively researched. Depending on Kanji usage it can been happiness or beam of light. Tanaka is her last name because I had just learned the kanji for both components of it and so... :D

ok the kids: Obito is ofc named after Obito. Tsuki is Tsuki because it means the moon and I like that sound. Miu is Miu because one of my former best friends last name is Miudo and we call her Miu. Aiko is "love child" or "child of love" and picked on purpose because thats exactly what she is. Aoki and Aome are named after the Morita tradition of naming their kids with Ao (like Aori is). Ki is tree, Me is eye.

a kiss... out of necessity

that was a tough setup vera i hope its fine like this!

Miu pushes her chin forward. “No, I'm pretty sure I’m right. I’ve caught them kissing several times.” 

“That’s-  I don’t believe it. I don’t want to be rude to you Miu but your sister? She is cold.” Aome throws her locks over her shoulder.

Though Miu knows her sister well and knows her sister’s cold shoulder towards others, she still thinks it's a little rude of Aome to judge her so harshly. Tsuki is family after all, but Miu feels like there is no need to spark an argument about this today, especially since she is correct anyway.

Also, why is it so outlandish that Mirai-sensei is dating Tsuki? Usually Aome follows Miu wherever she leads, but this - this is the thing she doesn’t want to believe?

“We should just ask them”, Miu decides. “And then you owe me 5 dango.”

Aome frowns a little: “Five is too much, you’ll upset your stomach.” She sounds weirdly like her father.

“So what?” Miu says in defiance. Aome has no other words to say. So the two girls head out to search for either Tsuki or Mirai-sensei in the village.

As luck would have it, they find both of them together. Mirai, casually leaning against a tree and moving her arms in excitement is right opposite to Tsuki, who leans very close, face hidden behind her usual mask and just nods at everything Mirai says.

MIu sees it immediately: her sister’s cheeks are flushed. 

“Tsukiii~” Miu whines from across the street to get her older sister’s attention. A light crosses Tsuki’s eyes. 

Mirai stops her rambling and looks at her two students heading over. “What are you two doing here? It is your day off.”

“Aome does not believe you two are dating,” Miu says bluntly and Mirai-sensei blushes instantly. “I wanted her to see proof.”

“Wh-hy is that something you are talking about…?” Mirai is gesturing again.

Aome shrugs her shoulders: “It just doesn’t seem true. Miu just wants to brag.”

“Why would I want to brag with my sister dating my teacher?” 

“I don’t know, you like bragging about many things.”

“But I’m not lying.” Miu lets out a huff and then punches her sister in the side. “Tell her.”

Tsuki rolls her eyes in this very exaggerated way she usually does when she is annoyed with anyone in their family, but then, with a sigh, she grabs Mirai at the front vest and pulls her in. She is almost as skilled as their father is when it comes to letting the mask down and putting it back up so MIu almost misses the movement, but they kiss. At first Mirai seems to fight it a little, too embarrassed to do this in front of her students, but eventually she gives in too.

“Gross,” Miu says almost in unison with Aome.

Tsuki draws back and puts the mask back into place: “Well you wanted to know.”

Satisfied with what they saw, the two girls turn around without a further word. 

“You owe me five dango.” Miu skips a little. She likes being right.

Aome makes a face. “It will make you feel sick.” 

“Sure, but that sickness will feel like victory.”

March for Moots -  Day 19 - kite

Ren & Sarada (Ikigai AU) for @queen-tabris

(Doing this little project with these prompts during march for my friends on here. A drabble a day keeps the depression away or something. Prev prompt.)

Sarada tucked at Ren’s hand, her small eyes so big behind her big, round glasses. She’d been born with poor eyesight, something that usually befell Uchiha only when they were older. 

“Will you help me fly a kite?”, she asked, her voice just a whisper.

Ren crouched down to her, putting his hands on both sides of her shoulders: “It is spring, usually you do that in autumn.” Sarada weighed her head to the side, so Ren added quickly: “We can do it anyway though, we just need to find enough wind.” And a kite, he added in his mind.

So they sat out to find a kite first, something that Ren’s family definitely did not own. “Why did you come up with the idea?” he asked as they walked on. His first idea had been to ask Obito, who seemed like the sort of person to own a kite. “Boruto told me that he flew one not so long ago with his father.” 

Ren clenched his fist: “Oh, that's great for him.”

The Hatake family did own a kite, Ren had been completely correct in his assessment. Miu hung herself at Sarada, whining to be taken along and Sayuri allowed her to go, as long as Ren was supervising. So they set out again.

They stopped on a wide open field just outside the training grounds. Ren moved his head around to assess the little wind coming in. Maybe if he could use wind ninjutsu he could summon a little breeze, but he could not.

In vain they waited for the wind to pick up, Ren constantly throwing the kite into the air for it to just sail back down. Saradas eyes grew sadder each time, until she eventually said: “It’s ok nii-chan, we can do it some other time.”

“No!” Ren said, his heart hurting when he looked at her. I’ll make it happen. He looked around, trying to find a resolution for their problem and narrowed his eyes a little. “Listen”, he said finally, eyes on an especially high tree, “when I throw it, you run. Alright?” Sarada nodded.

He climbed up the tree, the kite tight below his arm. Then he turned around and looked down, trying not to lose balance at how high he was. Sarada held tight to the line, her eyes steady on her brother. “Now!” he yelled across the field and threw the kite.

Sarada ran, just like Ren had instructed her too. At first the kite just sailed behind her, losing height by the second, but then it suddenly was picked up by a little gush of wind, nothing more than a breeze and sailed higher up.

“Hold it steady,” Ren said, running down the side of the tree. Sarada stopped and turned, her eyes big and excited. Miu was cheering and clapping. 

He stopped behind his sister, his hands brotherly on her shoulders. Nothing could make him feel better than her happy face.

Who were their friends during childhood? Are they still in touch with them?

Hatake Tsuki: Tsuki and Mirai are almost the same age and as such they went to the academy together and always stuck around each other in some way or another. When Tsuki was younger she wasn't really too concerened about her family and that she was an adopted child, and so she was overall much happier then in the academy days where she was often mocked as "not a real daughter" of the hokage. That is sort of when she and Mirai drifted apart due to her anger at everything and everyone. When they got older and Tsuki was getting distance from everything in ANBU they got to know each other again. And now they are dating woo.

Hatake Obito: From childhood on he was raised alongside a) Aiko, the daugher of Yamato and Sora and later with the Uchiha twins Ren and Takeshi (Sasuke's sons). All through his life he stayed close to them and felt a very close brotherly bond especially with Ren. (Tho that relationship strained a little in the teen years when Obito left Konoha with Sasuke, but... different story.)

Hatake Miu: Miu is just a year younger than the Boruto era children so she grew up around all of them but especially Sarada and Boruto as their parents are close to her parents. So she always has someone to play fight with, and is attached to them even after they graduate ahead of her.

in honour of father's day, here an older thing I wrote on my phone around christmas time. Kakashi as a dad with his youngest daughter. haruka of @uchiharomance

Haruka opens the door on the third knock, hair messy and neck sweaty from her work. She finds the Sixth Hokage on the other side, face as pale as his hair, eyes worried, holding his youngest child.

"What did you do this time?" She asks, no time for chit chat.

Miu laughs and stretches out her little arms to Haruka, her white hair stained with red. "I-I just threw her a little," Kakashi says, his eyes avoiding hers.

"And then what?" Haruka narrows her eyes at him. He shrugs his shoulders a little: "She- she hit her head.."

Haruka sighs. Of course she did. Miu seems unfazed by the injury. Still laughing she adds: "It made a BONK on my head." Haruka takes her. "Sure it did, sweetie."

The injury is a narrow cut on the child's head, bleeding a little, but not overall dangerous. Kakashi could have probably taken care of it himself if he wasn't always so worried about the health of his children.

Haruka leads them inside, Itachi checking in out of the kitchen to see who arrived. "He threw her and now she has an open wound", she informs him. He smiles at Kakashi: "Training them early, senpai?" The other knows he is joking, but feels called out anyway.

"Remember, I pardoned both of you" he says weakly, watching as Haruka starts the healing process. Miu is still laughing, always very fascinated by Haruka's facial markings. "Just like in Daddy's pictures!" she'd always say. Well she isn’t wrong.

"I would heal her even if you didn't" Haruka replies, a little annoyed. 

Kakashi raises his hands defensively: "I wouldn't have doubted it." He pauses for a second, his face still pale." I just- just- maybe you couldn't tell my wife about this?"

Haruka bursts out laughing. For a second the image in her head shows Sayuri, sharingan active and pissed, pulling out all the hair on her husband's head. "You did WHAT?!" Truly, a mental image for the ages.

"Scared of her a little, huh?" she asks even though she knows the answer. Kakashi runs his fingers through his daughter's hair: "I didn't mean to, you know, I don't want ...her to think that."

Miu giggles again, eyes aimed at her father. Since birth she was much more fixated on him than Obito ever was. Well fathers and daughters had a special bond, they said. Haruka knows of course that Kakashi is a good dad, that he would never intentionally harm any of them. She knows that not only because she has seen it, but also because of his habit to go see her for any little health related issue. He worried for them all the time.

"Fine, I won't tell Sayuri," Haruka promises, the cut on Miu's face closing without leaving a trace. "You should wash her up though. There is blood in her hair."

"What can't we tell Mommy?", the girl says immediately, big dark eyes fixed on Haruka.

"That it did BONK today", she replies softly.

Miu frowns and turns her head back to Kakashi: "It was a lot of fun though! And I got to visit Haruka."

Kakashi picks her back up, smiling fatherly at her. "Right, but this should be our little fun secret, Okey? One only between you and Daddy." 

"And Haruka and ‘Tachi" the girl adds.

Kakashi sighed quietly. "Yes, and them."

Hatake Miu

Miu is the second daugher of Kakashi & my OC Sayuri

 For a long while after the birth of her older brother Obito, Miu’s parents didn’t really have time to think of anything else but work and family. So Miu is born 8 years later, a little unplanned. With her coming in Kakashi decides that it is time for him to give the Hokage title up to someone else. He has therefore a lot of time to spend with Miu when she is small and she becomes very attached to him. Overall she is obviously the darling child of the household, being loved and protected by both her older siblings that often dont even talk to each other unless she is in the room.

When Miu goes to the academy she is very irritated by Houki, who seems to imitate and idolize her father. Both of them argue about it a lot until Houki eventually graduates.

Miu got her father’s hair and eye colour, looking nothing like she’d be half Uchiha. She wears her hair in two braids on the sides of her head. In academy she is doing fine, working especially well with basic genjutsu. She likes having her mother’s summon cheetah’s around for cuddling sessions.
