if you do, why are they your favorite?

Hi!!! Well, there's Shiro, but I'm not talking about them now for... reasons.

Besides them, there's also Flower T. Flowerwell! don't have any recent finished pictures of them, but I want to show what they look like, so here's a wip.

(Also did the lineart ages ago but whatever)

I'm not entirely sure why they're one of my favourites, so I'll just talk a bit about them, I guess?

They're a partial shapeshifter, which in this case means they can't really shapeshift except for changing their wings and also the consistency of their blood for some reason (I know the reason). They aren't entirely sure what species they are, but they know they're not human.

Flower is a magic manipulater, which basically is just the in-universe name for any magic user. They primarily make potions and also sell them for money. Unfortunately, their potions aren't exactly safe a lot of the time, so one would have to sign an incredibly concerning contract before buying an original recipe. Common recipes they've learned from books are safe, though!

Blood is probably also one of my favourites, but I don't want this post to be too long, so I'll just talk about her later.

Alright. Flower and their ghosts. This deserves its own post to explain what's going on there.

First of all, yes, this is a plural allegory. Flower was originally a self insert* and this is a carry over from that. I did not realize that what I was experiencing was plurality at the time, but now that I'm aware of it I'm leaning into it for Flower.

*Flower has changed A LOT since this point, I feel I should specify. They're very much separate from us at this point.

First of all, Flower lives on Akane Island. There are no mediums anywhere near this area. Information about spirits and how they're separate from ghosts is sparse. There's also somewhat of an ableism problem towards mentally ill people at the time of Flower living there. This leads to Flower learning not to be open about the spirits.

Flower also does not know the difference and uses these words interchangeably to be clear.

You may be wondering what I mean about the difference between spirits and ghosts. There was a change in management in the afterlife, to put it simply. Spirits are remnants of the old system, and ghosts are dead people from after the change.

Spirits are not visible to anyone except for either a host or a medium. Spirits are also rare due to them requiring certain parameters to form as opposed to being reincarnated.

Due to the lack of knowledge on spirits, the other residents of Akane don't believe Flower when they talk about them. They think they're lying.

So tl;dr Flower experiences fantasy ableism, and yes, this is based on my own experiences with plurality.

Dasiy: What inspired you to create your oc?

An unhinged animal crossing roleplay and no this is not a joke.

Rose: What is your oc's favourite form of self care?

Probably things involving keeping their general living area clean as opposed to just themself clean. I think that counts as self care?

Buttercup: Does your oc have any odd quirks or habits?

Well, for one, Flower is an incredibly animated person. The way she moves is more akin to an exaggerated cartoon as opposed to how most people position themselves. He also tends to fidget with various things with their hands a lot. She has a lot of energy.

Violet: Do a voice claim for your oc

Kevin synthv is honestly the closest voice I've heard to how I imagine Flower to sound. Maybe a bit higher pitched than normal, though?

Sunflower: What name(s) were you originally thinking of calling your oc?

Table. Which is now their middle name. They were originally a joke character, so that's why their name is l Like That.

They are not intentionally a good liar, but due to their bad memory and the fact that she's been told misinformation by other people, he tends to "lie" anyway. When it does intentionally lie, they tend to speak really quickly and then run away to avoid the person having a chance to question it. It's really obvious, honestly.

I think their favourite sweet food would probably be macarons. I have no explanation for why.
