I believe I've uploaded older voice claim videos for these OCs before on my main blog, but the art especially needed an upgrade, plus, I've been slowly returning to this AU and I'd like to get back to writing for it again (or at the very least, making those little videos I used to make).

Kara and Barry smiled as they watched the kids sleep. Kara stretched, looked down, and chuckled as she stared at her watch. 

Barry raised an eyebrow and asked, “What’s so funny?”

Kara smiled and said, “We have been standing here staring at them for 30 minutes now.”

Barry smiled and said, “But they are so adorable.”

Kara chuckled and said, “I know, but we should probably be a little more productive. I know I am officially on leave, but I did have three articles I was in the middle of working on…”

Barry sighed and said, “I know what you mean. I had several cases I was working on. Normally, you have to offload your cases before going on leave. Not sure if Mxy in all of his planning arranged all of that.”

Kara shrugged and said, “He seemed pretty thorough…”

Barry rubbed the back of his neck and said, “I will probably run to Central City just to make sure. By the time I find out, I’ll swing by S.T.A.R. Labs to talk to Caitlyn, Felicity, and Oliver.”

Kara raised an eyebrow and asked, “Wouldn’t Felicity and Oliver be in Star City?”

Barry nodded and said, “Normally, but S.T.A.R. Labs is hosting an energy-saving conference with Caitlyn and Felicity being some of the main panelists. Oliver is hosting the entire thing.”

Kara winced and said, “Crap, I forgot with everything going on that I was supposed to be covering that event with Jimmy and Winn today for Catco. I need to check to see if they got someone to replace me for that or not.”

Barry asked, ”Did you want to meet at S.T.A.R. Labs while they are setting up for the event? I would imagine Clark would be back before then.”

Kara nodded and said, “Sure.”

Barry smiled and said, “Okay. Well, I am headed out. I will see you shortly.” 

And with that, Barry zoomed off as a red blur. 

Kara chuckled while shaking her head. She turned to head to the kitchen to grab her laptop when she heard her phone ring. She quickly zoomed to her room to grab her phone. 

“Hello?”

“Ah, Kierra. So your phone is working.”

Kara stuttered, “Ms. Grant…”

“You seem surprised to hear from me,” mused Ms. Grant. 

Kara chuckled nervously and said, “I just didn’t know that you got up this early.”

Ms. Grant sighed and said, “I decided on a quick vacation to Paris yesterday. I am several hours ahead of you right now.”

“Oh….”

Ms. Grant cleared her throat and said, “That is beside the point. I must say, Kierra. I know that we don’t communicate all the time, but as your mentor, I thought you would have the decency to let me know of important life changes.”

Kara stared at the phone shocked. She knew that Ms. Grant would have received the email from HR about her leave. However, Ms. Grant usually had her assistant field through those emails and dealt with it unless it was something that needed her direct approval. Kara had started to shift slightly back and forth. 

Ms. Grant scoffed and said, “I get that you wouldn’t have been able to tell me in person, but I at least expected a phone call, not a random email from HR saying you have three months of parental leave.”

Kara winced and said, “Ms. Grant, I didn’t mean any slight about not letting you know about the adoption. When, my friend, cousin, and I went into this, we didn’t know that it would be this quick of a process.”

“Adoption agencies usually give you some type of guideline of when you get the child.”

Kara stuttered and said, “We didn’t go through the adoption agency though. We had to do the reclaim process with LexCorp…”

The line was silent for a moment before Ms. Grant said softly, “Oh…I didn’t realize…” Ms. Grant was silent for a moment and asked gently, “Are you okay Kara?”

Kara looked down at her phone in surprise. She had seen multiple sides of Ms. Grant’s personality ranging from anger to indignation, but this gentler side she was displaying was a new one.

Kara said warily, “Yes, I'm fine. Why?”

Ms. Grant was silent momentarily before saying, “What Lex did to you and the others….that is such a violation. I am surprised honestly that Lex didn’t get a harsher sentence for what he has done…”

Kara gave a soft smile and said, “Oh, I agree with you. However, I choose to look at the positive which is that my friend, cousin, and I have three little ones to fawn over.”

Ms. Grant gave a slight chuckle. 

Kara frowned and asked, “What’s so funny?”

Ms. Grant sighed and said, “You are the only person I know who takes such a bleak situation that Lex caused, and puts a positive spin on it. I heard that LexCorp hadn’t been notifying the biological parents when they would give their child to them so some of the parents were not prepared for the kid’s arrival. I hope that you had a more positive experience than that.”

Kara chuckled nervously and said, “Nope, we just had an hour warning before the kids arrived.”

Ms. Grant scoffed and said, “The nerve of those Neanderthals.” Ms. Grant sighed and said, “That probably explains why HR put on rush on the leave of absence request for you. Normally, it would have taken a couple of weeks for approval, but we have been making exceptions with this whole LexCorp thing.” Ms. Grant paused for a moment and said, “If you need help with making living accommodations or kids supplies….”

Kara smiled and said, “Fortunately, we had enough space for the kids and enough supplies for them.”

Ms. Grant breathed a sigh of relief and said, “That’s good to hear. It is not only good to have supplies, but also to have a good support system. You know the saying that it takes a tribe to raise a child.”

Kara chuckled and said, “Actually, we are gathering our tribe as we speak. We just got the kids today, but we are throwing a party this Saturday to introduce them to family and friends. I would love it if you could come.”

Ms. Grant sighed and said, “I unfortunately won’t be able to attend. I promised Carter we would stay in Paris until Sunday, but….” Ms. Grant was silent for a moment before she asked, “How old are the kids?”

“The three kids are six years old.”

“That is perfect! They are the same age as Carter! We should do a playdate.”

Kara smiled and said, “I would like that.”

“How would next Monday at around noon sound?”

Kara was surprised. She didn’t think that Ms. Grant would take her up on that so quickly.

“Sure. Monday at noon would be awesome.”

“Wonderful. I will text you my address and Kara….”

“Yes…” said Kara hesitantly. 

Ms. Grant said warmly, “Welcome to motherhood.”

Ok, looks like I've finished the family trees for my Sonic AU, and I'm currently working on the family tree for the Mario Bros. for the Mushroom Kingdom and Sarasaland, including my other parts from my AU added to it. Maybe I'll post my Sonic AU family trees some time or later because of college. I'll post Daisy's parents next after this post because I had it posted on DeviantArt and also Instagram, so it will be quick!

So anyways, here are Princess Peach's parents-- King Toadstool and Queen Toadstool! Peach’s mother is named Queen Felicity Toadstool, and Peach’s father is named King Bradford Toadstool.

HEADCANONS:

Felicity Toadstool was the ancient princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, while Bradford was the human who came from an another world. Her parents passed away when she was 7 years old, which left her under the care of the Toads.

The time took place between Bradford and Felicity as teenagers. When Bradford came from the pipe that leads to the Mushroom Kingdom, he stumbled upon Felicity. She was friendly to him.

When Felicity takes Bradford to her castle, the Toads were suspicious about Bradford, but Felicity has them respect her, promising them that he won’t cause any problems.

Years go by as Felicity and Bradford are on their first date. After the date, Bradford proposes to Felicity and she accepts it!

When Bradford and Felicity got married, Toadsworth— the recent administrator of the kingdom— becomes their loyal friend.

Bradford and Felicity suddenly got a report from one of their messengers that alt made them. They sooner later discovered and then experienced the upcoming danger coming from the other kingdom— the kingdom of the Darklands— where the Koopas lived. They have the Toads prepare for war.

The danger didn’t happen until a few years later Bradford and Felicity’s birth daughter, Princess Peach, was born.

When Peach was 2 years old, Bradford and Felicity had to go to war because it’s about to start against the Koopas— typically Prince Bowser’s past family.

Bradford and Felicity have the Toads take their daughter Peach to a safe place and they did so before going to war with the evil Koopa’s.

Bradford, Felicity, and the whole army of theirs clashed against the ancient Koopas who were the parents of the Koopa Princess Lust— Bowser’s mother; and the army of Koopas and Goombas.

The war continued clashing until it came to an aftermath. Lust’s parents died during the war, but that— unfortunately— goes for Bradford and Felicity.

After the war was over, the Toad army members came back and revealed to the whole kingdom the sad news that their king and queen have died from the war.

The Toads put up a portrait inside the castle and the statue of their rulers outside— to remember the beloved King Bradford Toadstool and Queen Felicity Toadstool.

BONUS: Half of a year went by until Peach was back in the Mushroom Kingdom through the pipe. The Toads recognized her and they took her in, training her for her bravery. Then, after so many years, Peach grew up and was crowned as princess and the rightful ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. (Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023 reference)

Backstory:

On one of her visits to her father’s lab after school, she accidentally bumped into one of his experiments, which exposed her to an absurd amount of dark matter. Once he found out about her powers, he started using her as a lab rat

Powers:

Olivia possesses the unique ability to manipulate shadows, a rare power that allows her to control and bend darkness to her will. She utilizes her shadow manipulation both for stealth and combat, often integrating it with advanced technology to maximize its effectiveness. Her powers are directly connected with Dark Matter.

Personal Life:

Mermaids and Siren AU

A World of Warcraft mermaid AU for @promptsbytaurie event AUgust 2024 day 23 mermaid/siren featuring my WoW characters for each class of the game and my Siren ocs.

The 13 merfolks swim toward the direction of the mysterous singing that they are hearing and put the eight men of their group in a hypnotic trance. One of the mermaids ask one of her friends, "Where do you think the guys are going, Amelia?" and Amelia, whose have long brown hair and gray scale fish tail, answer the question, "I don't know. I never expected a song so wonderful in the Forbidden Reef." A mermaid said to Amelia and the other mermaids, "Maybe that is why the reef was forbidden in the first place." Amelia have a sense of guilit as she ask her friends Wanda, Aeriala, Zeshos, Sedrise, Chunho, Zhuthel, Rarkel, Rama, Brekk, Wamblessha, Riavaih'mur, and Hjuhrogir check out the Forbidden Reef she hear about.

Hiding behind some rocks, the mermaids see the men swim up to some rocks where thirteen woman with bird wings for arms and talons for legs as well feather on their land on the rocks. Amelia quickly realized that these bird women are winged sirens, a type of the sirens sub-species of mermaids whose can use their songs to control the wills of others and even use them to cause ships to crash into their doom. One of the winged sirens, whose look like a woman of Europe despite her bird features, said to her fellow sirens, "Strange that we got a group of mermen, girls." and another winged siren said, "I'm surprised myself, Caroline. I wonder what we can do with them." A blond hair siren said, "We can eat them as usually." and another blond hair siren said to her, "I don't think we can eat them raw, Felicity." which Felicity said to her, "Don't talk back to me, Susan." Felicity then said to seven of the sirens, "Hyeon, Caroline, Eva, Yania, Paula, Bethany, Donna, since our songs bring them here, I give you the honors of finding to make these meals ready." and then said to Susan and the four other sirens, "Susan, the rest of you, which means Jackie, Allison, Samantha, and Melody, you can keep watch." The sirens get a fishing net and cover it over Chunho, Zhuthel, Rarkel, Rama, Brekk, Wambleesha, Riavaih'mur, and Hjuhrorgir, which Felicity said, "There! That is so our food would not escape us." The five girls knew that they have to get their friends out of there.

With some quick thinking, Amelia, Wanda, Aeriala, Zeshos, and Sedrise managed to get past the guards and were starting to free the men when Rama start crying out, "My queen! My queen, help me!" and Zeshos knock him out, but his shouting cause Felicity and two of her sirens to them and she give orders to the pair, "Bethany, Donna, stop those mermaids!" The duo flew after the mermaids, but they quickly enter the water with the mermen and the pair can't for they don't want their feathers to get wet. Felicity is angry at losing food for the first time while the other sirens watched.

Once they swim far from the Forbidden Reef, the men are back to their senses.

Grew up: She landed in Coachella Valley, in California when she only less than 5 years old. Since she stuck in the phantom zone for a few years. She was found by a lovely couple. How she doesn’t know much of Earth’s actual culture, she was never one to truly understand it.

Powers set: Earth based. Girl got a green thumb. With just the flicker of her fingers, Lyra can grow and control planets such a flowers, trees and make the air more fresh. On occasion, she can create plants. Her emotions effect the planets around her. With time she realized, she sometimes can control the weather just to make it grow or the sun to shine on the gods green earth.

Sometimes she will say something like, “The trees. They speak to me..they’re happy that it rained.”

Extra Info

Her biological parents were like royalty in her small planet across the south coast of the planets. Far from behind the other universes or planets nearby, simple people. Like down to earth country folks were the people on her planet. Everyone and everything looked like Earth with a fairytale style in the architecture (very much like Naboo). Their technological advances were slower than other planets, since they shared and borrowed from one another. But no one cared. Rather rich themselves in the minimalistic living instead. 

Some rarely gifted with certain abilities when they reached a certain point in their lives, meanwhile someone are not. One powers that only some elders held dear, that few past onto their children were to remember their past lives. Such as soulmates.

Her home looked like an Enchanted Forest, the ones you would hear in fairy tales crafted to share with little girls to imagine when they play dress up. She was kinda a loner growing up, having her books of fairytales and action filled stories of heroes to read.

One day she was stepped around the streets when a voice called her, consumed and curious she followed. Her dress flew behind her, walking until she saw that appeared to a wishful bouncing voice, belonging to a tall man. He was magical in a sense, convincing to anyone who listen.

“Hello?” She asked, fixing her dress and gasping at the suited man, “Who are you?”

“W-who am i? Well I’m your ticket to advertising adventures dear.” Reply the said with a kind smile, “I’m Roland.”

“My ticket to where?”

“Well Princess Shay-era, you are a very good girl. You don’t deserve to leave in this dump of a planet, but to bring your gifts to others.”

“M-my gifts?”

“Why yes of course. Your gifts. No offense, but do you really wanna be stuck in a place with no longing a little thing like you?”

Shayera crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes, “What’s your game, pirate? What about my parents?”

“You’re planet was doomed to death anyway, just like the otherwise beautiful ones on this side of the galaxy. We rather saved your ass now.” He said with a shrugged smile and secretly he opens a portal.

“We..? Uh, w-who sent you?”

“You’re mother. She knew you wouldn’t want to listen without a little push.”

“My mama..? Wait—”

The said portal opened and slides underneath her feet, Shayera landed asleep and shipped off world. She wasn’t brought with much, expect a few items. The portal trip was fine until she was knocked off course resulting, in her form landing in the phantom zone for weeks.

Finally she woke up to the pretty sky. Coachella Valley, in California. Her eyes were closed but sun shine still peaked into her face. She heard a young couple talking over her body. They were kind people from what she heard.

Shayera’s eyes gently blinked open catching the couples eyes. From their perspective, sweet young bright eyed little girl in a blush pink soft dress landed a few feet away from their home. It was a charming sight. The pair always wanted children and thought it was a gift from the universe.

“Hi sweetie, what’s your name?” Asked the women, Rosita.

“I don’t know..not remember..I’m sorry..” Said the girl looking at the couple confused but with a sense of familiarity in her eyes.

The man, Sean smiled, “It’s okay, we’re take you in.”

She smiled, gentle love in her eyes. They returned it, the couple named her Lyra Olivia Cruz. After Sean’s mom and Rosita’s grandmother.

Years went on, Lyra lived a normal life as a teenager. School, friends, traveling to different place, reading and watching movies, shopping and so much more. Sure weird things happened over the city, in which her and her good friends coined it as ‘The Wall Of Weird’. Posting everything that happened onto the school newsletter and journal the ones they didn’t say anything about for themselves.

Sometimes it was like a damn comic book or music happened right before their eyes.

Until one day over the spring time, Lyra developed theses annoying headaches and decided to detox her body in the backyard nearby the small flowers she grew with her mother. It worked like a charm taking it all in, the fresh air, the sun and the greenery around her. Her fingers ran across the grass then flowers, as her hand sparkled. The flowers grew a little bit as Lyra looked at her face gasping in shock. Poor girl screamed, she though she was dreaming.

And her first thought afterwards was…

“MAMI! I THINK I GOT POWERS!?” She yelled calling her mother stumbling back in the house, practically falling face first on the wooden flooring. “Ow…” She added shortly.

Her mom was confused for a moment until Lyra showed her, more or less. After her dad came home from work, they had a long talk. Sean and Rosita told her what they know, that wasn’t much for neither of her parents to off on. The two felt sorry. They told Lyra that she was sent here in a pink dress, wearing a pair of dusty rose earrings and a small notebook that kept drawing in them. To their surprise, their daughter wasn’t mad at them or worried about anything. She knew she was loved and sent her as a blissing for a chance to live a good life.

As she started to work on her small scale of skills she promised to use her powers for good care, not destroying or manipulate nature. Eventually her friends found out finding it super cute and interesting.

Everything was great until after senior year, she moved up to Central City to start exploring her job as an artist. Yes she does have the opportunity in California to draw and sell her art, but she wanted a different environment as a landscape for her cartoons. She was chatting on the phone with a friend when she noticed a young woman about to trampled over by a incoming speeding car.

She noticed a abandoned flower stand nearby, the man left for a break. So in result Lyra wiggled her fingers sparkling a dusty rose color as the flowers stretched out and grew wrapping themselves up gently pushing the woman away. It was a very subtle movement. Lyra released her touch on the flowers as they went back to their original form.

Lyra looked around hoping no one truly noticed, buying the said flower, leaving the money on the flower cart and walked away. They were tulips her favorite. However she was wrong, the woman who she saved did notice and a few days later found her at Jitters Coffee Shop.

Leanna O’ Conner was called in by her friend Officer Penny Spivet to see her.

Lyra refused the idea, she wasn’t one to use her powers very often and doesn’t want to be like the hero The Blur or anything.

Leanna wasn’t suggesting that and said, “Girl I ain’t asking for you to do that. But you were spotted and tracked by a camera, your smart and sweet and kind. We could use you on the team, every once in a while.”

“I’ll think about it..what do you know about me?” Lyra asked curiously.

“You grew up in Cali, you studied news and stories eventually becoming a artist for the paper. And you can manipulate planets?”

“I can control and manipulate them to grow or even strengthen themselves.”

“If you come by to the labs, I’ll like to see it sometime.”

The sometime came soon as the day she visited, The Team Flash was fighting King Shark. She had to help them by growing a cage from the ground up to hold him off in the park until they can get handcuffs on the huge half animal. Caitlin and Iris grinned impressed. Once it was done, Lyra agreed to come over every once in a while to help, but she was more than happy to hang out with the crew.

Her, Cisco and the others would do movie nights. Referencing comic books, tv shows and movies. In their universes, Marvel was a common thing that would mention among pop culture.

The superheroes in a barn reference, excelsior, spidey senses tingling, superhero landing, Hulk references, X-Men and etc. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, so much more being named dropped ever so causally no one bats an eye!

One day Iris even mentioned, “You said you were touched on journalism right?”

“Yeah? I usually do the doodles.” She replied one day as the girls were hanging out.

“Do you know a column called ‘The Wall Of Weird’? It was popping up on again on my throwback new feed.”

“Hahahahaha! I do actually, cause i help write it.”

“No way!”

“Yeah it was a fun thing we dropped online, I didn’t know it reached cities.”

“Girl it’s the Internet, of course it did.”

Hell Lyra when met Kara Danvers and others, she fell head over heels in love. Yeah she loved the other teams but Team Supergirl was unique.

With her being from technically another planet, the colorful city, the similarities between perspective she shared, and Winn was her absolute favorite. All having to save each other at least once. Oh did I mentioned how nerdy everyone was with certain things? It was super cool!

Winn opened the door where she locked in and yelled out grinning, “Hi! I’m um here to rescue you, princess.”

Even though she was chained up, Lyra grinned and gasps, “Hmm. Aren’t you a little short to be a stormtrooper?”

“You rewatched Star Wars without me?!”

“Actually it was me and James!”

“Traitors! Me and Kara rewatched Wizard Of Oz without you guys.”

“You traitors!”

Alex was a badass, Lyra supporting her every single step of the way to her journey. In result, Alex helped her try to find more of her heritage whenever asked.

She was one of the most supportive people in her life and vise versa.

Plus she wouldn’t lie saying she had a small crush on Supergirl. I mean how could you not have a crush on Kara Danvers?! She’s adorable!

Also, they worked together so they get to see each other almost every day. Other days they were chilling together.

“You’re gonna love me forever. Close your eyes!” Lyra said running into the apartment.

“Okay? Please tell me it’s a puppy!” Kara yelled out with her eyes closed.

“Okayyyy! Now open ‘em.”

Kara gasped seeing pizza from their favorite restaurant, donuts from the shop across from CatCo, and a dvd of the film The Great Gatsby.

“OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU!” Kara yelled in glee hugging her.

“HAHAHA! IT WAS NO BIGGIE!” Lyra yelled back hugging her.

If you wonder if she gets to see her friends and family, Kara and Lyra are able portal or teleport using a device Cisco made. Winn sometimes had to adjust the schedule or corrected coordinates for travel. 

Sometimes it leads her into trouble bouncing from once place or universe to the next…
