I basically never talk about my OCs in here, but the condensed version is: my Warlock was part of the group that took down Rhulk but surprise surprise, the guy is not completely gone! For some unexplained reasons (still working on that) he lives on through his Glaive, Lubrae's Ruin, that Fatal brought back as a reward because he really liked it as a weapon. So now Fatal has a Disciple running around in his head, trying whenever it can to gain full control until the two make a deal where Rhulk promises to not hinder Fatal's work and actually gives him an "easier access" to some few Darkness tricks in hopes of making Fatal a tool to still do the Witness bidding, while Fatal instead is trying to make him see that the Witness is not the only possibility for a future.
And from there it's mostly Fatal spending time in the Throne World Pyramid, trying to glimpse more into Rhulk's past while also defending it from the Scorn attacks, which brings me to the idea of a Scorn OC, a Wraith passing by the place where the Gouging Light (Vow exotic sparrow) accident happened, and just a few bits of Rhulk samples were able to survive and infest this Wraith, enough to influence it and sever the connection to the Witness and other Scorns but not enough to fully take control. So now this Scorn shares the love of battle and death that Rhulk had, reveling the Disciple almost as a God of War and deciding to protect the Pyramid from intrusion, and in one of these raids it was able to also find the Subjugator legacy: Fatal has no real control over the Wraith, but being the one that killed Rhulk (and with Rhulk in his head) he kind of can influence it.
Not sure why the infodump but here it is I guess :)

So we know the Pale Heart creates places based on our memories and such there's definitely going to be a big ass Pyramid ship in some bog once Fatal enters because that's definitely what had the most impact on his life as of now, but the inside would not be what he expect, rather I imagine it's some kind of fractured remaining of Lubrae.
Like the idea that because of the connection between Fatal and Rhulk, so the Pyramid is this kind of place remade by both their vision and memories: for Fatal a kind of home these last 2 years, but for Rhulk home is still that memory of Lubrae buried deep inside him.
They discover it's actually a functional Pyramid and can be used as some kind of anchor to move between it and the Pyramid in the Throne World so Fatal and Rhulk probably will be spending a lot of time in there (but really this is all so I can make my Dread OC work, which hopefully I'll have something to say soon hsjarhsjk)

Since I cannot be helped I am changing Fatal's lore a bit more (insane about him, I should think of my other ocs) but very simply I am making him a Warlock of the Praxic Order. He was probably recruited after he lost his Fireteam on the Moon (maybe with some help from Ikora) and he worked as a Praxic until the Red War. He worked mostly on the field, hunting for rouge and Darkness relics, but after the loss of the Light he started to think of it as fallible, which prompted him into his research with Hive Magic and such in secret and the abandoning of the Order.
He never ventured too deep in his studies (to the knowledge of Aunor) so she didn't go against him, but by the time that the Drifter arrived at the Tower she called him back, to help her in her investigations, giving him the job to infiltrate these new Dredgens to find any affiliation with the Drifter. He accepted the job, and retook the Cormorant Seal, still with a mind to not take his position back. He managed to get into a group a become a small leader for them, discovering that most of the people of his group had doubts about becoming full-on rouge Guardians, which unluckily ended with most of them dying to another group, after it was discovered that Dredgen Nex, Fatal's name, was a Praxic spy.
And he will never fully recover from those Guardians dying because of him in a way :)

Hey remember that whole infodump about Fatal, Rhulk and that one unnamed Scorn?
That Scorn now has a name, The Gatekeeper (Fatal gave it to kinda continue the trend like "The Caretaker", and because it does act as a gatekeeper to the Pyramid), but Fatal only calls it Keeper. As I explained in that previous post, it's a Wraith who ended up being "infected" by remains of Rhulk, but it wasn't enough to take full control so now it's this big-ass Wraith trying to reach the Pyramid, killing anything in its path.
You gotta imagine the bloodthirst of Rhulk put into a Scorn body who sees fighting and killing as an offering to the Subjugator, and the Pyramid is seen as a temple. So when it reaches the ship and sees it infested by Scorn it immediately starts to clean the place. In the meantime Fatal is not really taking care of the Pyramid situation because of all that happened during Lightfall, between the Witness disappearing in the Traveler and him having problems with Rhulk becoming silent and unresponsive, so he's pretty surprised when he meets Keeper, learning that it was the one defending the Pyramid.
They don't really have a smooth start, Fatal doesn't fully trust it and wants it to be as far away as possible from Guardians while Keeper tries to push Fatal into accepting he was the one who killed Rhulk and that he should be the one to now have the title of Subjugator now (which he refuses categorically, before season of the Deep he will never even think about it) but when eventually Fatal accepts the title, Keeper follows Fatal a bit more willingly, but deep down the only thing it cares about is still the fight and the blood you spill in a fight.

Subjugator is honestly such a cool title, and I like the importance that Rhulk gives to it in a way. So when Fatal accept that title as his own now, he's also starting to accept Rhulk in a way.
Sorry I keep thinking of Rhulk calling Fatal "my Subjugator" and that simply scrambles my brain

Betrayal, break, desire, mask and nightmare for Fatal!
From this:
betrayal: Has your OC ever been betrayed by someone they thought they could trust? Has your OC ever betrayed someone who trusted them?
I can't really say that Fatal has ever been betrayed, usually people that were loyal to him were so until the end. Which is funny considering he did betray a few people, first of all Aunor after he refused to follow her orders, effectively becoming a rouge. And in the same way he betrayed both the Vanguard and his sister, Arch.
break: What would cause your OC to break down completely? What do they look like when that happens? Has anyone ever seen them at their lowest?
Fatal developed this belief that he isn't the person he was during the Golden Age (so basically just a killer for BrayTech) instead he trusts in being someone new and that the old Fatal is nothing just a memory. He believes that most deserve that second chance because a new life means they can try and make their choices! But make him realize that deep down he's still the same? That would destroy him. So far it hasn't happened (yet) but there would be a certain Disciple seeing him in such a devastated state...
desire: What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?
More than anything? I would say for this Light vs Darkness war to end...but problably a bit higher than that is to see Rhulk broken from the Witness' chains, to see him realize he has the possibility to make a choice now, even after all he's done. Fatal's not really too open about it, it's something he prefers to keep for himself and he would do ANYTHING for it.
mask: Does your OC wear a mask, literally or figuratively? What goes on beneath it? Is there anyone in their life who gets to see who they are under the mask?
Well, first of all he had the mask of "Dredgen Nex" in his last job with the Praxics. Now he doesn't exactly wear a mask, bute he does use this plate to cover part of his face that remained damaged by Darkness and can't be fully healed: this plate is made with bits from the Traveler's shard and it help soothe the pain that he would otherwise feel. He doesn't take it off too much, since it hurts without, but his Ghost and his family did see what's under it, it's almost like there's a void there where circuits and metal should be.
nightmare: What does your OC have nightmares about? How do they deal with their nightmares? Do they tell people, or keep it to themself?
Fatal sometimes has nightmares about his life in the Golden Age, or worse about the death of his first fireteam (still can't shake off the feeling he could have done more). He doesn't really do anything about them, he just endures through all of it. And he does so with only the help of his Ghost.

Oh yeah btw nothing can stop me from giving my Exos teeths and claws because I already did :)
Both Fatal and Arch comes with a nice pair of sharp teeths, and Arch even doubled down making herself a nice pair of claws.
