carter and entropy

- prior to moving to red dog, carter had never met any of leana's biological children. they're all sort of scattered to the four winds. entropy is one of the youngest, along with bartholomew. (i'm still debating on whether to have bartholomew still live with leana and reginald, so he can be in blackwood school. but i haven't decided yet.)

- i think at first carter was apprehensive about meeting entropy because they were afraid entropy wouldn't like them, but entropy is happy to have a sister her own age to hang out with.

- entropy came to red dog to study the weird energy in hell's gate, and ended up just staying bc liked the vibes.

- when carter's twin sister is revealed to be living in red dog i think entropy is bummed out at first bc she figures carter won't want to spend time with her as much, but carter still makes time to hang out and ask about her research.

Hanna-Barbera Head Dump 2: Back to the Honkai Verse

I figured that I’d share some ideas for this crossover, which I STILL have no name for, regarding the character arcs and such.

A couple of brainstorms that came to mind:

I remembered Snu-Lu Bear (I think that’s how you spell her name), Boo-Boo’s love interest from Yogi Bear and the Invasion of the Space Bears, which I haven’t seen since I was a kid. I got to thinking that she might be good as a stand in for Seele since I think Bronya and Seele are in a relationship within the game. That being said, it would be pretty awesome to write a dark Melissa, though.

A few arcs would take place in the settings of some H-B cartoons, from well known ones to obscure ones like Galaxy Goof-Ups (which reminds me, I really need to get back to my other fic!).

My OCs, as well as VK’s, will have some neat roles here. I remembered Felicia (Baba Looey’s girlfriend from my other fic, Have Guitar, Will Travel), and I think I’ll tweak her to be a good Rita stand in.

The Great Gazoo, Orbitty, Papa Smurf, AllStar Seaworthy and others will definitely appear as ELFs.

In the vein of Honkai Impact 3rd’s Chronicles series, I decided to create my own, titled “Chapter Extras”. These not only tell stories of the characters before the main plot line, but also feature characters who are otherwise minor/mentioned within that storyline. I may end up changing the titles later.

Chapter Extra the First: Hoagy’s Heroes (Focusing on the cast of Top Cat, and how T.C. & Benny ended up being enrolled in Hanabera Academy—as well as Dibble. Hijinks ensue as the three train to become Einherjar—and try not to kill each other!)

Chapter Extra the Second: Kriegmesser (Sequel to the above, which includes Breezly and Sneezly as well as Squiddly Diddly. Details Top Cat’s time in the Arctic Branch, where he becomes the leader of the 467th Squadron, known as Kriegmesser, much to Dibble’s frustration. Also details incident that led to not only Dibble’s disappearance/death, but also the loss of Top Cat’s affinity for the Honkai.)

Chapter Extra the Third: Steel Bullet Run* (Focuses on Quick Draw McGraw and Huckleberry Hound, with story elements drawing from both The Good the Bad, and Huckleberry Hound, and my fanfics for those two, namely Have Guitar, Will Travel. Basically, Quick Draw’s journey before he became an Einherjar is not a smooth one, especially with the loss of his best friend, Baba Looey, to Anti-Entropy, but he makes a friend out of a “mysterious, steely-eyed and silent type stranger”, named Huckleberry Hound.)

Chapter Extra the Fourth: Texas Mementos (Part one of Ricochet’s story, which takes place about six to eight years before the events of the main story. Takes elements from Blazin’ Trails. After his pregnant sister, Rose, is murdered by the Honkai, Ricochet throws himself into Hanabera Academy in order to become an Einherjar. When his partner, Sherman, leaves, Ricochet is assigned a new partner: a sweet, yet sleepy-eyed and slow-moving coyote named Droop-a-Long. Though he had his doubts about the coyote—in no doubt due to his own prejudices—Droop-a-Long quickly earns Ricochet’s trust and friendship.)

Chapter Extra the Fifth: Gilded Texas Roses (Part 2 of Ricochet’s story, taking place a year after the above. Not long after entering the settlement of Hoop ‘n Holler for some much needed training, Ricochet and Droop-a-Long learn of a pair of rogue Valkryies that are brutally murdering the town populace, and are assigned to bring them in. Droop-a-Long complicates the case by falling for one of them: Denise Falconeri.)

Chapter Extra the Sixth: Poisonous Red Scorpion (Part 1 of Droop-a-Long’s story, taking place a few months after the above. Uses characters from both Blazin’ Trails and The Jetsons. Droop-a-Long’s older brother, Drag-a-Long Coyote, Jr. is up to no good, and targets their father in an assassination attempt. Droop-a-Long chases him down, only to fall into a trap where he is brought before the man he never wanted to see again: Spencer Cogswell, who is one of the people responsible for turning him into a Herrscher.)

Chapter Extra the Seventh: Jormungandr’s Venom (Part 2 of Droop-a-Long’s story, featuring characters from The Jetsons, Ricochet Rabbit, Yogi Bear and Jonny Quest. Droop-a-Long fights his fate by going through a series of trials meant to awaken the Herrscher of Calamity, trials that will break his spirit if he isn’t careful.)

Chapter Extra the Eighth: The Stars of the Show (Focusing on Snagglepuss, Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear and Boo-Boo Bear in a comedy of errors where Snagglepuss attempts to start a troupe in order to settle a debt, only for the Honkai to upstage every performance.)

Chapter Extra the Ninth: Come to Bruin (A humorous story taking place before the finale of Kriegmesser, where Breezly’s attempts to “teach” the Colonel a lesson backfire hilariously.)

Chapter Extra the Tenth: Jormungandr’s Lure (Focuses on Baba Looey and Felicia, with additional appearances from Quick Draw and my OC, Clarissa Trottingham, and details how they became agents of World Serpent)

Chapter Extra the Eleventh: Quanta Physics (Details Melissa or Snu-Lu’s time in the Sea of Quanta, her friendship with Einstein and Tesla—yes, they will be present in this story—as well as Boo-Boo, and how she ended up in the Sea of Quanta, as well as meeting her other self.)

In addition to these, thinking of doing some “Cast Talks” in between arcs to lighten the tension (plus since the H-B characters are practically actors, it would be fun to poke at the storyline thus far, too!).
