carter and entropy

- prior to moving to red dog, carter had never met any of leana's biological children. they're all sort of scattered to the four winds. entropy is one of the youngest, along with bartholomew. (i'm still debating on whether to have bartholomew still live with leana and reginald, so he can be in blackwood school. but i haven't decided yet.)

- i think at first carter was apprehensive about meeting entropy because they were afraid entropy wouldn't like them, but entropy is happy to have a sister her own age to hang out with.

- entropy came to red dog to study the weird energy in hell's gate, and ended up just staying bc liked the vibes.

- when carter's twin sister is revealed to be living in red dog i think entropy is bummed out at first bc she figures carter won't want to spend time with her as much, but carter still makes time to hang out and ask about her research.

Hanna-Barbera Head Dump 2: Back to the Honkai Verse

I figured that I’d share some ideas for this crossover, which I STILL have no name for, regarding the character arcs and such.

A couple of brainstorms that came to mind:

I remembered Snu-Lu Bear (I think that’s how you spell her name), Boo-Boo’s love interest from Yogi Bear and the Invasion of the Space Bears, which I haven’t seen since I was a kid. I got to thinking that she might be good as a stand in for Seele since I think Bronya and Seele are in a relationship within the game. That being said, it would be pretty awesome to write a dark Melissa, though.

A few arcs would take place in the settings of some H-B cartoons, from well known ones to obscure ones like Galaxy Goof-Ups (which reminds me, I really need to get back to my other fic!).

My OCs, as well as VK’s, will have some neat roles here. I remembered Felicia (Baba Looey’s girlfriend from my other fic, Have Guitar, Will Travel), and I think I’ll tweak her to be a good Rita stand in.

The Great Gazoo, Orbitty, Papa Smurf, AllStar Seaworthy and others will definitely appear as ELFs.

In the vein of Honkai Impact 3rd’s Chronicles series, I decided to create my own, titled “Chapter Extras”. These not only tell stories of the characters before the main plot line, but also feature characters who are otherwise minor/mentioned within that storyline. I may end up changing the titles later.

Chapter Extra the First: Hoagy’s Heroes (Focusing on the cast of Top Cat, and how T.C. & Benny ended up being enrolled in Hanabera Academy—as well as Dibble. Hijinks ensue as the three train to become Einherjar—and try not to kill each other!)

Chapter Extra the Second: Kriegmesser (Sequel to the above, which includes Breezly and Sneezly as well as Squiddly Diddly. Details Top Cat’s time in the Arctic Branch, where he becomes the leader of the 467th Squadron, known as Kriegmesser, much to Dibble’s frustration. Also details incident that led to not only Dibble’s disappearance/death, but also the loss of Top Cat’s affinity for the Honkai.)

Chapter Extra the Third: Steel Bullet Run* (Focuses on Quick Draw McGraw and Huckleberry Hound, with story elements drawing from both The Good the Bad, and Huckleberry Hound, and my fanfics for those two, namely Have Guitar, Will Travel. Basically, Quick Draw’s journey before he became an Einherjar is not a smooth one, especially with the loss of his best friend, Baba Looey, to Anti-Entropy, but he makes a friend out of a “mysterious, steely-eyed and silent type stranger”, named Huckleberry Hound.)

Chapter Extra the Fourth: Texas Mementos (Part one of Ricochet’s story, which takes place about six to eight years before the events of the main story. Takes elements from Blazin’ Trails. After his pregnant sister, Rose, is murdered by the Honkai, Ricochet throws himself into Hanabera Academy in order to become an Einherjar. When his partner, Sherman, leaves, Ricochet is assigned a new partner: a sweet, yet sleepy-eyed and slow-moving coyote named Droop-a-Long. Though he had his doubts about the coyote—in no doubt due to his own prejudices—Droop-a-Long quickly earns Ricochet’s trust and friendship.)

Chapter Extra the Fifth: Gilded Texas Roses (Part 2 of Ricochet’s story, taking place a year after the above. Not long after entering the settlement of Hoop ‘n Holler for some much needed training, Ricochet and Droop-a-Long learn of a pair of rogue Valkryies that are brutally murdering the town populace, and are assigned to bring them in. Droop-a-Long complicates the case by falling for one of them: Denise Falconeri.)

Chapter Extra the Sixth: Poisonous Red Scorpion (Part 1 of Droop-a-Long’s story, taking place a few months after the above. Uses characters from both Blazin’ Trails and The Jetsons. Droop-a-Long’s older brother, Drag-a-Long Coyote, Jr. is up to no good, and targets their father in an assassination attempt. Droop-a-Long chases him down, only to fall into a trap where he is brought before the man he never wanted to see again: Spencer Cogswell, who is one of the people responsible for turning him into a Herrscher.)

Chapter Extra the Seventh: Jormungandr’s Venom (Part 2 of Droop-a-Long’s story, featuring characters from The Jetsons, Ricochet Rabbit, Yogi Bear and Jonny Quest. Droop-a-Long fights his fate by going through a series of trials meant to awaken the Herrscher of Calamity, trials that will break his spirit if he isn’t careful.)

Chapter Extra the Eighth: The Stars of the Show (Focusing on Snagglepuss, Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear and Boo-Boo Bear in a comedy of errors where Snagglepuss attempts to start a troupe in order to settle a debt, only for the Honkai to upstage every performance.)

Chapter Extra the Ninth: Come to Bruin (A humorous story taking place before the finale of Kriegmesser, where Breezly’s attempts to “teach” the Colonel a lesson backfire hilariously.)

Chapter Extra the Tenth: Jormungandr’s Lure (Focuses on Baba Looey and Felicia, with additional appearances from Quick Draw and my OC, Clarissa Trottingham, and details how they became agents of World Serpent)

Chapter Extra the Eleventh: Quanta Physics (Details Melissa or Snu-Lu’s time in the Sea of Quanta, her friendship with Einstein and Tesla—yes, they will be present in this story—as well as Boo-Boo, and how she ended up in the Sea of Quanta, as well as meeting her other self.)

With her fic coming out soon, I wanted to introduce my OC, Joey Mcgill to you guys. Admittedly I’m a little nervous since this is a rather rough profile, but I hope you find it an interesting read!

Joey is a major/main character in the upcoming fanfiction, Fate and Entropy.

Backstory (as non-spoilerly as I can manage): Joey was starting to get her life together, putting away money at a new job and hoping to eventually venture out into the wider world. One night however, she went to sleep, and through a inexplicable cosmic event that temporarily created a rift in time and space, where she woke up the next morning was not her bedroom at home. In fact, she found herself waking up in the city of Insomnia. 

Scared and utterly confused, she tried to find the nearest police station, crossing paths with three young men and one older man, happy to assist in getting her some help.

When she arrived at the police station, the three men stick around to see what becomes of her. Things did not go well, as there were no records of a person of her name and description, or the address she gives as her home address.

Suspicion rose, and the police started to wonder if she is unstable or possibly dangerous, when one of the men stepped in and stood up for her, stating that he believed she could be trusted. 

This young man was none other than Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum, and he declares Joey will be taken into Royal Custody effective immediately. 

Eyes are upon her, and even after the incident she did not easily gain the trust of others. Especially when claiming she is someone not of this world. 

The events that followed intertwine Joey’s fate with that of Prince Noctis and his Crowsguard, and eventually she found herself among their number, accompanying the Prince on his journey to reclaim his throne and restore light to the world. 

Personality: At her core, Joey is kind, caring, and has a strong sense of justice. She will go out of her way to try and be supportive and helpful, sometimes to the point she forgets her own limitations or to attend to her own needs. 

Joey is normally a very introverted, polite woman in public. But among friends, she is quite conversational and warm, nurturing even. With friends, she is loyal and trusting and gives them the benefit of the doubt unless they have done something to seriously wrong her or someone else in the past. 

Despite her general struggles with social situations, she has a knack for getting along with kids and people who are not normally easy to befriend (either due to being shy or not easy to get along with), much in part to being generally very accepting of other people. 

Joey has a hard time dealing with anger, the examples she had growing up not being particularly good ones (either bottle up your emotions or explode). She tends to want to hold in her anger until she can’t anymore. As a side effect of this part of her mentality, when thinking about something that’s bothering her, it can be hard for her to stop thinking about it. 

She tends to worry a lot, and deals with a lot of self-doubt. Though she was a lot worse in her past, it is an area she continuously struggles with, though it is easier for her to deal with if she has proper emotional support. 

Psychological Profile: Joey is autistic, and as such she has trouble with some social cues and reading facial expressions. Although she has had help from an early age in dealing with this difficulty present in her neurotype. What is more of a struggle for her are her sensory sensitivities, and the possibility for sensory overload. Too much sensory input (noise, movement, etc.) can be overwhelming and cause exhaustion and sometimes emotional strain. 

While Joey is remarkably resilient when it comes to physical trauma, she tends to be more sensitive to emotional traumas (such as death or abuse) and they tend to stay with her longer. Joey herself is a survivor of emotional abuse in her past at the hands of a former boyfriend, and has some issues with depression and anxiety as a result of her experiences. 

Even though she struggles in some areas, Joey is very intelligent, and it shows when she’s speaking anywhere other than a casual setting among friends. Though it tends to come out the most in her poetry, which she keeps in a journal stored on a tablet she takes along on adventures with her new companions. 

Weapon Proficiency:  Spellcasting (Elemancy and Barriers), Firearms (Handguns only)

Skill Proficiency: History (Will research history, politics, and other areas of interest for Noctis. In a theoretical scenario where Joey was an actual character, leveling up this skill would provide more details in possible in-game codex like the ones featured in the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series.)

Other Skills: Joey can cook well, though she is nowhere the expert level that Ignis is. However, she is an avid gamer much like Noctis. She has a soft spot for poetry, and is remarkably good at making poetry on the spot. 

Likes: Video Games, Tea and Coffee, Rabbits, Cats, Poetry, Spicy Food, Reading (particularly related to History and Biology)

Dislikes: Overly sweet or bitter food, arachnids (spiders and scorpions), large crowds, and small talk

THE STORIES BEHIND THE GORETOBER PROMPTS

A Vague Summary

My Little Nightmare

Alright so I’m going to have a bit of difficulty explaining this without telling the whole story and in terms of the Goretober pictures, but I will do my best.

Death Glare was killed as a filly in a way that made it so he became the God of Death (I have an explanation but it will be revealed later, when I figure out how to write it out). He was killed because his friend/elementary school girlfriend, Ice Cap, and her blind sister, Misty Gaze, left him when they were attacked, and his mother, Rose Petal, had left him in their care (sort of).

Anyway, when he became God and was given this power to kill, he went out to exact revenge. He killed Ice Cap, and she insisted he kill Misty Gaze (this design was unimportant to the story) so they could work together. He then killed his mother and constricted the size of her body until she fit inside a cat (so to speak).

Ice Cap and him dip in and out of a relationship. Death is mentally unstable, and Ice acts as his support, but often does it in an abusive fashion (there was symbolism in this drawing), which is why Death often has to bend over backwards to keep her happy.

War and a Cyborg

This is a NaNoWriMo story, so I have to keep spoilers to a minimum.

In the beginning, it describes how Jiqiren lost a majority of the right side of her body.

At one point, Adria- a war general- is captured and tortured for information.

Nekos/Furries/Cats:

ALRIGHT! SO!

A majority of these cats I either won in DTAs on PaigeeWorld, or I designed them to use as vent characters that I would self project onto when I was going through a particularly bad time in my life, so I haven’t designed proper backstories for them. HOWEVER! I am planning on creating a sort of High School type thing in a world specifically made of these types of characters, so I will give a basic rundown of these characters and how their Goretober pictures relate to who they are.

Vent self harms, and is super depressed. He has a disability in one eye that keeps it from functioning correctly, and it looks glassy and weird, so he usually keeps it covered.

Rainflur is Vent’s boyfriend, and is a bartender at a popular club. He probably has to separate bar fights often.

Blossom is a popular target of bullying due to her one wing. Most people have either two wings, or neither, but she was born with only one wing, so she’s shunned at school and work places and such.

Janette is a fallen angel half possessed by a demon. Seems pretty self explanatory.

Tropic is a nerd and Rash is a jock. They’re dating. The Goretober pictures were largely unimportant to their story other than the fact that the prompts fit their names.

Okay so I actually haven’t developed Papuru like *at all*. A majority of these characters I’m making more human like from a cat form, so this was largely me deciding on a design for her. But the prompt and the character both start with P’s so it was like “eh, why the heck not”

Firepower is the legal guardian to Blister, although Firepower is a wolf and Blister is a cat. Firepower acts as an older brother to the adopted Blister, which was mostly decided because they’re both sort of based off of fire.

Soulwhisp is a ghost with cool ghostly powers. But he had to die somehow. I’ll figure it out later.

Akura is a risen demon- similar story to Janette just from hell.

I haven’t developed Rensa outside of cat form yet.

Miscellaneous

Lucille is a vampire. Relatively self explanatory. She’s part of a group I haven’t made details for, but they’re all fantasy creatures.

Rebecca is my Gravity Falls OC- also a vampire. She does rituals to aid in her powers, and is unusually powerful due to this. She can sort of absorb the blood of her victims into a charm around her neck that keeps her fed without her having to find new victims.

You can see more general information about Pastel here, but this actually sparked an idea for another AU Pastel. I just haven’t figured out what that would look like, but I will probably flesh out details “soon”.

Team RWBY/Power Struggle

This set of OCs was originally my RWBY team, Team GLDN. However, I used the same characters in a story called Power Struggle, so I switched between the two prompts somewhat for this set.

Universally, Lily has a thing for Dave, who has a thing for Nikki, who has a thing for an assassin.

In Nikki’s prompt, Lily uses Gary’s katana to kill Nikki.

Lily’s prompt is inspired by the Hanahaki disease and her one-sided love for Dave.

Dave’s prompt was inspired by the idea that, in Power Struggle, Dave has an AI living in his head and his one robotic arm, and it gets a virus and sends him into a killing frenzy.

Gary’s prompt was really just the fact that he has ice powers, so he burns easily.

Homestuck

This set of stories can also be seen here, somewhat, but I haven’t elaborated much since heyyy I haven’t finished Homestuck so I dunno how to write a session.

But this is pre-session garbage anyway.

Entroy represents entropy. ‘Nuff said.

Entroy and Sancut were dating, until Lumose killed Sancut.

Ooo tell me about your ocs

oh man i have so many, but since this is my da blog i’ll gush about my da ocs! also there’s a cut bc i uhhhhh went way longer than i probably should have lmao 

i only have two wardens -killian mahariel and ellanis tabris. killian is a big softie; she loves the little things and stopping to smell the roses. the blight was rough as fuck for her, but she fell in love with leliana so it wasn’t All bad. 

  ellanis on the other hand has had it rough since he first displayed magic. his uncle -shianni’s father- came up with a p nasty solution to keep him out of the circle without raising the suspicious of the templars. they staged an ‘accident’ which crushed his left leg, forcing him to walk with the aide of a cane -his focus- for the rest of his life when ellanis was around 7. but it kept him out of the circle sooo they never told ellanis about the truth of his ‘accident’ either, so he’s always been slightly grateful it happened so he could stay with his family. he romances zev in every game i’ve played with him bc he sure is a Sucker for romance. i’ve got Several hawkes,,, but i think my favorites are wren and galahad. they’re my hawke twins bc Yea. Wren is the oldest and she’s a Hot Fucking Mess in absolutely every way you can read that phrase. i love her though, and she romances merrill and isabela bc poly ships give my poly ass life. 

galahad is the biggest fuckin nerd you’ve ever met; constantly reading and building ideas and being a nusiance with unwanted but generally funny information. he ALSO always has a pun ready bc he finds those to be Peak Humor. he’s an absolute bear of a guy too which always throughs people, and he, like me and p much everyone else, fell head over heels for fenris. starting wiTH HIM RIPPING A GUYS HEART OUT OF HIS CHEST LIKE  D A M N. both wren and galahad are mages too, wren’s a spirit healer/blood mage/elementalist and galahad is force/primal/entropy 

my inquisition kids i also have a bunch bc i’ve fleshed out most of clan lavellan and the valo-kas i’ll just stick with my most fleshed out tho so its da’ean and idrilla

da’ean is.. a Mess who doesn’t want to admit it. he left for the conclave thinking he’d be gone a month at most and its turned into him never being able to go back home. he’s upset and confused at first but after the attack on haven he squares the fuck up and gets down to serious business bc maybe these people aren’t clan but they’re friends and definetly people he wants to keep alive. eventually he comes to terms with his own feelings of failure -with no small amount of help from dorian and bull- and shit goes to hell in tresspasser BUT his story is all in my wip fly little bird soo i won’t go into All of his story here bc spoilers 

okay last one best one, Idrilla Lavellan. i love her so much, her ‘canon’ story is her coming to skyhold to help da’ean after wicked eyes wicked hearts since she’s the First she knows stories about eluvians and all that jazz -plus she’s been kinda worried about da’ean since thats her little brother. when she gets there she Immediately gets to work but she butts heads with morrigan and solas fairly often, she treats them with respect bc she Does respect the fact they’re intelligent well trained mages but she isn’t treated with the same respect and it grates on her Quickly. she does finally earn their respect though, and even finds solas to not be so bad when he’s not shitting on her heritage which she corrected him about the first time he did it in front of her. when solas leaves at the end of the main game she figures something is up [they never really broke up since she wasn’t the inquisitor solas could lie to himself more thoroughly] and tries looking for him in the fade seeing as she’s a dreamer too. buut thats probably enough on her lmao i’ve gone on for far to long.
