PAST/BIO: elliott comes from a family who indirectly supported Voldemort and his reign, though was never directly involved as Death Eaters. His father was directly involved in the arrest of many muggleborns and went to azkaban for it shortly after the end of the second wizarding war. after a brief couple of years in azkaban, he was released on good behavior, but was suspended from working for the ministry and was checked on frequently. subsequently, his father divorced his first wife, who had been having an affair while he was imprizoned, and married a young russian witch (elliott’s mother).

elliott’s father never forgave the new ministry, especially harry potter, for ruining his success in his position with voldemort and the death eater. throughout elliott’s childhood, his father met with many of voldemort’s old supporters including death eaters and old ministry workers who’d been through similar prosecution from the current leaders. his father made sure elliott was present at every meeting. as expected, young elliott began to regurgitate the things they said, and eventually began to believe the values his father had, including the disdain of muggleborns and muggles. he believed that muggles were lesser than witches and wizards, and should be treated as such. he believed that blood purity was something to be kept, but realized that he himself was not so passionate about blood purity so much as he discovered his sexuality. he even considered dating muggleborns in school, though kept these flings secret from his father in particular.

elliott was sorted into slytherin in school, his ambition and observation skills aiding in his success in school. he made quick friends with many other housemates who shared his views, and took many younger slytherins under his wing, providing shelter for those whose families had similar experiences under the current ministry. he participated in groups of students twho practiced dark magic as well, and realized how much he enjoyed this particular branch of magic. because of this, he strived to work hard in school to achieve top scores in his NEWTs, and when offered a position as an auror readily took it. he specialized in damaging sig pells, secretly incorporating dark magic into his technique, especially when it came to questioning suspects. His stomach for violence and hard exterior was trademark of how he worked, and made a name for him even in training. shortly after his training was complete, he took the dark mark and joined the death eater ranks. he used his position to inform the death eaters of details he learned as an auror, and actively works to create confusion in cases he knows death eaters have ties in.

elliott was always considered the dark and mysterious type, and often he used his sultry, handsome exterior to get what he wanted out of a person. this led him to many relationships in school, though never getting into a serious relationship in fear of letting people see the real him, though he’d never admit it. In reality, elliott was sure of his distaste for the families who opposed his, but he questioned if blood purity was really something of high importance. Rarely bringing these questions to the front of his mind, elliott strives to achieve success in both his position as an auror and death eater.
