We’re a Discord Roleplay group for Haikyuu and we’re looking for more members! Our server runs on a canon-divergent timeline that splits off the third year’s graduation in Chapter 369 and we’re now almost four years after that point in time, some have gone off to work, others in university all the while still living their lives as any other person. We follow them in a natural, slice of life style roleplay, where relationships can form or break, characters evolve and change over the years. As any other person would, they not only have their private lives, but social lives with friendly gatherings like clubbing, parties, group trips. We encourage all sorts of roleplayers to come join, be it new or experienced as we’re a casual server who are simply here to have fun and delve into the Haikyuu universe a little more. Our server has monthly events for characters to attend, encouraging new friends, new bonds, new relationships and experiences that your character will remember. We also host seasonal events like April Fools, Halloween parties, Christmas events. Moreover, we enjoy doing activities together OOC too, since we’re not just here to roleplay but make friends. We play games, watch movies, have discussions, etc. Our members are friendly and welcoming and we’d love to have you on board! Hi I have a question! Do all the characters have to be fully human? I want to play a teacher but my character is technically an android, so idk if when I apply what I should do on her app

That's a good question! Since blackwood-rp is set in a modern setting, I don't see why not! As long as they don't have harmful powers/weapons and were created to blend into society, then you can app your character. :)

Hello everyone!

First and foremost, we mods would like to apologize for things slowing down on the directory. But we assure you that we are kicking things back into gear and with more exciting plans ahead of us! That being said, we are implementing a soft reboot.

This means we will be establishing a solid timeframe set after spring break in canon. This does not affect past and on-going threads though so you can retain all relationships and character development. This will simply be the basis of how future events will be sequenced on top of providing a timeframe for threads.

In addition to that, we are also opening a gossip blog to stir up some ic drama around the campus and a camping trip event for students to reacquaint themselves with nature, and maybe learn a few survival skills along the way! 

The discord server that we’ve been planning is coming very, very soon.

As for meme days, we have taken your suggestions into deliberate consideration and based on popular vote, meme days will now be Friday’s & Saturday’s moving forward.

a fond farewell.

hello, everyone! mod maple here, the original creator of blackwood. I realize the updates to blackwood have been steadily (and drastically) declining and for that, I would like to apologize. life has gotten incredibly busy for me since the new year began, filled with many new things and new opportunities, which have unfortunately taken priority over moderating and running this group. I have come to realize that I am no longer able to continue being in charge of this mfrp, as it would be unfair to those who have the time to put into it and really enjoy it!

it is with this realization that I have decided to pass on the leadership role of this group to mod tulip, who will be leading the efforts to bring blackwood back!! I am very excited for what the team has been working on for you all and I hope that everyone continues to enjoy their time here! 

while the title of this post suggests I will be leaving for good, I do intend to come back at some point. I love blackwood and the community we have created, but I simply just don’t have the time to enjoy it right now. in the future, I hope this will change — but until then, I leave you all in the very capable hands of the rest of the moderator team!
