#fallout new vegas#fnv courier#fnv oc#maksim girard#ilya kasharin#it's been interesting to think about how Maksim's character would change in this setting lol#he wouldn't be a telepath which I think would actually make him a lot better adjusted to dealing with people#like he wouldn't be any less weird but he'd be much more confident about it#which would make his early interactions with Ilya a lot less complicated because he'd be willing to match THEIR weird much earlier on#so they'd settle into this 'coworkers who bicker nonstop but there's a mutually understood yet unspoken attraction' dynamic more quickly#which means they could actually flirt. if that's what you'd call this#also I think his canon interest in ~high society~ would translate into a more general interest in old world culture#he'd be shockingly well informed about some things and The Kings-tier completely wrong about others but equally passionate about all of it#hence the blue star bottlecap collection. he WILL get that secret prize and he's not afraid to Do Violence about it#artbyrom
