I want to ask about your OCs but I don’t really know them! Could you do a brief overview and intro to them? I love hearing about other’s babies sm
holy shit i forgot all about this!! i’m so sorry this has been laying about for two weeks xx
of course i can! i think i did this before but i’ll do it again
elnami is my altmer mage - she is an ex-thalmor (unwilling), and is on the run from… the thalmor. she had a very strange upbringing - mostly because she was best friends with the imperial, marcurio - and her father was an elf supremacist, so he really didn’t like this. eventually, just a few months before the beginning of skyrim, elnami was forced to join the thalmor in order to keep her father from harming marcurio. however, she managed to infuriate ondolemar in markarth, and sparred with him, before fleeing. another month later, she was found by a thalmor patrol, and she was knocked out and put on the carriage that you’re first on at the beginning of skyrim.
faril is my bosmer duel-wielding axe bitch. her background is shrouded in mystery to most, but it is speculated that she lived in the caves on the mountain next to ivarstead, growing up pretty much feral alongside her twin brother (who will be mentioned later). when she was a young teenager, she realised while on a hunting trip that she was into women - as she spotted another young hunter, a dunmer, tracking the same deer as her. months later, faril began to learn about the daedric princes - and discovered the artefacts that were littered around skyrim. so, a couple weeks before the beginning of skyrim, faril made it her goal to obtain every single daedric artefact in skyrim - god knows why. however, she was caught murdering an innocent in darkwater crossing, and was sentenced to death along the rest of the stormcloaks
vayniah is my dunmer listener, she lived on solstheim with her caretaker teldryn sero until she was in her early twenties - working both as a spellsword and within the inn. however, in her twenties she had to flee solstheim due to reptitive incidents with the morag tong - however, when she was unlucky enough to stumble upon the imperials and stormcloaks when crossing, hence why she was on the cart at the beginning of skyrim. hoping to establish some kind of safety away from the morag tong, she joined the dark brotherhood - falling in love with gabriella. however, after the attack on the sanctuary (which blinded her) she settled down with revyn sadri, living out the rest of her life in solitude.
karfu is my rather sneaky orismer warrior who came to skyrim looking for fortune and glory. however, his dumb soul came across the imperial ambush and assumed they were the enemy, attacking them and landing himself a sweet spot on the headsmans block. he joined the companions after fleeing helgen and felt extremely welcome there, but after becoming harbinger, he distanced himself as he wasn’t comfortable with a lot of the racist language - he still hangs out with the twins, for some reason. he joined the legion, and as for who he’s going to romance, i think i might set him up with one of the orc smiths in markarth
morgayne is my breton thief/mage who struggles to keep herself on her feet. she has a terrible reputation due to being spotted by the forsworn when she escaped cidhna mine, but she’s decided it doesn’t bother her. at the beginning of skyrim, she was lined up for the block due to her murderous activities. once she escaped, she fled to riften - knowing it was home to criminal activity. she made her fortune from picking every pocket she could - until she tried to pick brynjolfs pocket. she very nearly got away, however, and this prompted him to offer her a position. she didn’t do much else with her life, and grew old with brynjolf in riften.
yngvar is my one and only stormcloak. he was with ulfric when he was captured, but is very naive and very easily influenced. he’s my youngest dragonborn (about 18/19), and grew up in windhelm, immediately adapting ulfrics beliefs. he was a companion, and is married to ria. other than that, he went around helping all he can - even the elves his cause hated so much. he lived the rest of his life in windhelm with ria.
aravan is my newest dragonborn, and faril’s twin brother. he adopted the same twisted attitude his sister had during his late teens/early twenties. however, he was mainly her bodyguard on all her crazy missions to take daedric artefacts. eventually they parted ways after helgen, and aravan developed a strange attitude - one, he joined the thieves guild, but at the same time, joined the legion. he would return stolen things to people, kill thieves that were seen - but that was his way of rolling. eventually he settled down with ghorbash the iron hand just outside riverwood, so he could see his sister often (faril lives in lakeview manor). aravan is most likely the actual dragonborn out of the two
additionally: elnami, aravan and faril all know each other. in a universe in which all of them are together, elnami is the “unofficial” cousin of aravan and faril. fun fact! :)

LORE
Default Lore:
Vishnu’s only female avatar, the seduction prowess of Mohini is the basis for many of her legends. She seems a little similar to Rama with her looks.
Bond 1:
Height: 183cm
Weight: 64.2kg
Origin: Mahabharata, Ramayana, (etc.)
Region: India
Alignment: Lawful Balanced
Gender: Female
She’s already trying to hunt down the Demonic Servants…
Bond 2:
To ensure the Asura did not gain the immortality gained with the Amrita, Vishnu took a female form (or placed an illusion over himself to appear that way) to distribute the drink among the Deva and Asura. In reality, she (he) would enchant the demons to not notice how they had not received a drop of the sweet nectar.
Yet…
Bond 3:
Charisma (Femme Fatale) Rank A
While she encourages and inspirers allies, her charm overwhelms her target enemies.
Demon Slayer Rank A+
She is a slayer of demons, a seducer of demons, one who tricks demons, she is a demon slayer through and through.
Amrita Distributor A+
To distribute the nectar of immorality requires the pure maddening effect of Mohini to distract the Asura who wished to receive it as well.
Bond 4:
There are also legends of her being a form of another avatar, Krishna. Where in, she (he) seduced a demon who had never laid eyes on a woman and thus gained immortality until it was broken by the enchanting Mohini. There is another where he took this form for the hero Aravan (Arjuna’s son) so that he may be married and be given the right of cementation and funerary offering after his self-sacrifice.
Yet…
Bond 5:
“Mohiniastra”
Delusion Personified
Rank: EX
Type: Anti-Self
Mohini herself is the personification of seduction, an enchanting lady who leads lovers (demons) to their doom. Charm comes naturally to her, trickery comes naturally to her. Killing comes naturally to her.
Extra 1:
(unlocks after completion of Jhuise Paratvi: The Revenge of the Sun God Devotee)
She is Mohini. She is Vishnu. She is Krishna. All of these are true.
But— this does not give her an answer to who she is. Is she simply a form to be used by those two, is she her own self, is she simply an illusion, is she all of that…or is she none of that? When she has no answer, and no matter how much Amirta she drinks, she is forever taunted by a truth she cannot receive.
Extra 2:
(unlocks after Interlude)
She exists on the simple principle that she is needed. Demons need to be slain. Demons need to be tricked. However, if she finds there is no longer any need for her, she ‘reverts back’ to those two. Yet, it appears they themselves do not understand this strict rule for her existence. Perhaps this occurrence is a consequence of the summoning.
Valentine - Chocolate
“Amrita (Chocolate)”
The real Amrita came from churning the Ocean of Milk, so creating a fake one from chocolate is befitting. It helps clear one’s mind and see beyond haze that can occur in battle. It can also help to see past mental blocks for a small time.
The taste is almost too sweet.
[it's a gold jar not dissimilar to the one Mohini carries, it’s top is off, and the melted chocolate can be seen inside. A cup is next to it, filled with the chocolate.]
Valentine - Return Gift
“Gold Lotus Leaf Bookmark”
It’s technically from Mohini-Vishnu, but you just found it in the book you were reading with a little note signed with the name. You aren’t sure if it’s actually from him or if it was the regular Mohini who left it and simply signed for him. Maybe it’s a pity gift?
[It’s a golden bookmark with a lotus leaf pattern on it.]

[SWTOR OC challenge: R - Day 2]
[15-day Q&A] [Part 1]
2. Family. Is your OC’s family a large part of their story? Why or why not? Are they on good terms? Are any of your characters related?
- Tarskal - As referenced in pt. 1, his backstory involved his parents dying. He has no siblings. Doesn’t like to think of anyone else being related to him. HOWEVER: he’s had a longstanding goal to create his own personal family lineage. Eventually he commissions a clone. He & Cianna marry to raise that son together, and some years later they ~collaborate~ on a lab-grown daughter as well. TD also considers apprentices of himself & Cianna to be their children. . . kind of. Lower in his hierarchy than “real” family members. There’s also some recognized “honorary aunt/uncle/kindred” people in this arrangement.
- Kirryl - Family IS kind of a big deal with Kirryl, despite her Jedi ways. Leaving her (three) parents was hard. Even more difficult was trying to detach from her older sister when they were together on Tython--and dealing with the ultimate outcome of Thalia’s unwillingness to “let go” of her own mother. By the time her younger cousin Isaq is also sent to Tython, Kirryl is no longer as strict about distancing herself. They’ve often undertaken missions together as full-fledged Jedi.
- Arameis - “Arameis” is actually the name shared by his mother’s family members. The gesture of assigning it to himself was meant as a way to distance him from himself as an individual. Ranieh does intend its use to honor those things that formed him: a representative of that past now that he’s not a part of it. He wholly broke contact with his family to commit to his interpretation of Jedi ideals. Maybe he was inspired by complicated views he holds about his father’s choices: bowing out of connections with the Jedi order, more-or-less abandoning the code and “the cause”. Meanwhile, Ranieh’s older brother was everything a Jedi should be, from his perspective. He’s hasn’t seen him in years. Aravan left on what has turned out to be a very long mission while Ranieh was on Tython struggling to graduate from padawan rank. . . . This young man makes everything very difficult for himself.
- Kallir - Wow they’re all dead and he has no clues about who they were. RIP. . . . He would probably LIKE to feel any particular way about this, but with all that he’s usually going through in the present tense, he’s never found time to try emotionally processing it.
(Bonus)
- Elenir - The famous armor smiths/artisans/merchant craftspeople-! She had oodles of relatives in way-too-close proximity. Beloved & frustrating & chaotic -- and dearly missed now that she’s on her own. I’m sure she writes to them (some of them) frequently.
- Lukar - [Human Sith Apprentice] Lucianna’s third(?) inquisitor apprentice, co-current with Tarskal mentoring Marixah (older “sister” apprentice), and with the parenting of Tyren (a “brother” apprentice probably close to his age) and Tiya (little terror jr. "baby sister” apprentice). . . I’m not too sure what his relationship was/is like with his own parents (in most other AUs, he’s Tarskal’s son & unwilling heir LOL), but I know that his place in TD and Cianna’s constructed family is very significant to him. Shrimpy nerd who accidentally calls the teacher “mom” and almost wishes it were true. Tarskal mostly terrifies him though, so-- life is kindof a struggle.

8,20&26 for the oc questions for aravan ! ~lesbianfrea
you are a saint tysm
“How politically active is your oc? Are they obviously influential, or is their influence more subtle?”
aravan is very active politically. he firmly believes in the legion and often wanders around in his imperial armour. he’s open about it and everyone knows about it
“What does your oc wear in the city/settlements? In the house? When travelling, but not adventuring or expecting combat? Do they vary their clothes depending on what hold/city they’re in? If they don’t, why not (e.g., if your oc wears the same outfit to tend their garden or lounge around the house as they did to meet Ulfric or Elisif, why?) Does your oc have a good or bad sense of fashion? How many clothes does your oc have?”
like i said, aravan usually wears his imperial armour - but when at home he’ll lounge about in plain robes. when staying in a settlement for a long time he’ll wear fine clothes with fine boots - just to make himself look fancy and presentable; this is the same if he is meeting any of the jarls. he doesn’t own a lot of clothes, because he thinks it’s just a nuisance and a pain to carry - he does have a good sense of style though
“How helpful is your oc, and why? Are they helpful or kind even during difficult situations? Are they pragmatic, or do they have a hero syndrome?”
aravan is strange in this sense i think? like, when he’s with anyone from the thieves guild, he’ll happily help them out or anything like that. but when he’s not with them he can be very aggressive towards common thieves (as long as they aren’t in the guild, then he’ll ignore them). he isn’t bad or good, he’s just fuckin… weird. he is very kind and helpful to civilians though

2 + 6!
idk which oc this is for but i’m gonna do faril x
“How educated is your oc? Did their parents teach them, did they have a tutor or were they apprenticed to a master, or did they attend a university? What university? What are they educated in? How long did their education take? (Learned skills like blacksmithing count here too!)”
faril can read, but she can’t write. she learned how to from vex. as for everything else, she’s self-taught
“Does your oc have a family of origin? How many members of their FoO are still living? Do they have a good relationship? How much contact does your oc have with their FoO? How in-the-loop is your oc’s FoO about your oc’s being Dragonborn/HoK/Nerevarine?”
as of now, i haven’t given faril a family - however it is likely her parents abandoned her and aravan, or they were killed by wild animals
