If you celebrate it, Happy Easter. We're making lasagna, ham, rolls, and a frozen cherry pie. The cheese mixture is a recipe that has been in my family for 100 years.
How is your Easter going? If you don't celebrate it, how is your writing going?
@ from @oc-a-day Introduce your OC! What is your OC’s name and does it have any meaning?
When my husband and I created our characters during SWTOR's launch, he decided to roll a Zabrak assassin. At the he thought Darth Maul was cool and wanted an Iridonian Zabrak. He named him Adaki Arturis.
My husband has been using the name Adaki since we played World of Warcraft. Adaki was originally a Draenei Warrior and was paired with my Draenei Priest named Phrae.
Adaki was one of the characters that have NOT been named after a character in a manuscript I / we are writing.
His surname is not so lucky. Arturis is the surname of the royal line in Cold as Ice. This is the reason he was name that, as at the time, we were creating characters that really connect with us. This includes Cyras and Vaene, as well as the names Laelithra and Sandric.
Adaki does not have a special meaning. I am not aware of any real world useage of that name, but I have to admit I have not researched or googled it.

Okay, I am quite curious about something. Do you've some headcanons for any of your couples?
Hi, Leia. Thanks for the question, and I hope you are having a wonderful day. I do have headcanon for all of my couples. Creating their headcanons can become like some people experience earworms for songs.
Again, thanks so much for the ask. It helps me keep my mind off of Loki for a bit and sort of forces me to actually think about the work that I didn't have the heart to pick back up since his diagnosis.
I'm going to answer this by splitting it up between Original and Fandom work. The original work I'm focus on right now is Cold as Ice, so the couple in that are Cyras Giovanna Teresa Covelli da Lucci and Vaene Ectorius Arturis.
The fandom work is The Old Republic: Cynthia Prescost and Darth Noktis. For Uncharted, it's Niamh Donovan and Nathan Drake.
Cyras and Vaene share a few interests. They both have a love for the finer things in life: art, literature, fashion, and exotic dishes.
Their common goal is to bring the Olessan Empire into a glory age. This means that they have to shed their opinions of each other. This will be harder for Vaene when he finally learns the truth about the planned coup.
Both Vaene and Cyras would do anything for their spouse and family. His son was taken far too early from him; Cyras' son was accepted into the ranks of the Knights of Agosto.
Vaene hates how guarded Cyras can be around him. He knows that she had a traumatic experience growing up, and that has caused her heart to have walls around it, but he just wishes that she could lean on him.
Cyras admires the way he seems to command presence in a room without really doing anything. Vaene is a very confident, cocky man, but it is to keep people from becoming too close to him. Vaene admires how strong Cyras is. She was an orphan on the streets of Glyndon, the neighboring country, and she rose to the second important position in the Olessan Empire, the Stewardess.
Fandom Original Character
This is the fanfiction section. Maybe, one day I'll make a fancy header for it. lmao.
Star Wars
My two characters that I usually do this for is Agent Cynthia Prescost, my Imperial Agent, and her lover, Darth Noktis: the player character that was known as Darth Nox.
When they walk side by side, she will often walk with her hands behind her back and fingers interlace. Even though they eventually became bonded, Cynthia still shows this respect to Noktis. He will often tell her to relax.
Cynthia was originally sent by Imperial Intelligence to become Noktis' servant when he was an apprentice to keep tabs on his master: Lord Zash.
As soon as Noktis first saw her, he was struck by a vision of the future. He would be ruling the Empire with her by his side. He often struggled with this vision as she is a human and he is a Zabrak. Noktis is often a slave to his visions, and this makes them easily manipulated.
He often tells her he will kill for her, and this does become a reality. When they were visiting the new empress on Dromund Kaas, their plane is sabotaged. Acina, Cynthia, and Noktis go through the jungles and the Sith Temple to return to Kaas City. Cyn is pregnant at the time. When he found out who put his wife in harm, he used his saberstaff to strike down the aggressor before his gathered allies.
Noktis believes that his love for Cynthia is stronger than any hate he could feel. He told her that both the Jedi and Sith are afraid of the attachment. Hate tends to die when the target dies; love is eternal.
Cynthia often likes to dance for Noktis. He enjoys his private dances, but they are often exhibitionists, too.
Their relationship was inspired by Persephone and Hades.
Due to her upbringing, Cynthia is a bit touch-starved. She enjoys it when he just teases her. As Noktis has immense command over the Force, he tends to use the Force to see to those needs. Noktis loves to indulge in the Force, and as his wife, Cynthia loves to watch.
Uncharted
For Uncharted, this happens five years after the events of Uncharted: A Thief's End. Nathan Drake is a widower; Niamh Donovan is the daughter of the late Arthur "Art" Donovan, the inspiration for Indiana Jones.
Niamh was lovingly crafted to compliment Nathan Drake's traits. I had a friend said that they wished that Niamh was included within the Uncharted Universe.
Nathan is 53 (give or take); Niamh is 31. I always believed that the older you are, the more that age is a number.
There are many activities that the two like to do together. They often discuss history, their past hunting adventures, and drinking bourbon together. Niamh is a bartender, and she made her own drink to compliment Nate's personality. She loves to create it for him.
They share the same surrogate father figure: Victor Sullivan. Sully is old friends with her father. While Nathan, Sully, and Elena were dealing with the events shown in "A Thief's End", Arthur Donovan was abducted by Kira Mitchell, the top lieutenant for Rourke McGlouglin. Sully has refused to leave Niamh's side. In fact, Nate is shocked to find Sully at Sunset Shores in 2020.
Nate and Niamh met at her bar Sunset Shores in Kuta Beach, Bali, as he is searching for her father's journal as a way to revive Cassie and Elena. She served him a beer, as she thought that he lost his wife to one of the Balian Natives, but he quickly shoots that down and says he is a widower.
When they are searching for the location of her father's journal, they first start in his study. Niamh often refused to go in there. Nate accompanies her into the room and even holds her as she cries from the memories before they begin the search for a clue or the location of her father's journal.
Nate still wears his wedding ring, and Niamh never asks him to remove it. She could never ask him to simply "move on", but their love does grow.
When they do find the Ark of the Covenant, Nate will have to have a choice. He will not be able to bring back Cassie, but he could Elena. He would need to exchange the life of someone he loves for the life of his true love. Niamh is afraid he will view her as disposable.

I love this line. I had someone once ask me if Noktis becomes likable. He does. He is devoted to Cynthia, but his love is very dark that it can border on obsession at times. Take this example:
You are the empress of my heart, the dark mistress of my soul. - Darth Noktis.

Sending all of my virtual hugs to you. ❤️ Take all the time you need. I'll await for your swtor writings/musings whenever you're ready.
Hi, Seren.
Thanks so much for the hugs. I'm feeling better today. More than i was last week. We have to weigh Loki ever week, and he actually gained instead of losing like he has since December.
I've been thinking of a spicy short story between Cynthia and Adaki / Jadus, especially where he reveals he was Darth Jadus during the mission "A New Epoch of Fear" and urges her to give him her half of the codes. She cut off the comm for a reason.
I haven't played SWTOR in a while since the initial UI changes, and it was giving me migraine headaches, but I've been thinking about going back to it.

"The clones that Adaki uses on Dromund Kaas as Jadus are clones of Cynthia. He created them when she was separated from him the first time."
I'm curious, what was Cynthia's reactions upon seeing them the first time?
Hi! Hope your day is going well. And thanks for the ask. I always look forward to your SWTOR questions, as they tend to make me think. lol
That's one of the messed-up things in their relationship. Cynthia is rightfully disgusted about them. He first created them during the years spanning their first separation: when she was forcibly extracted from his home by Imperial Intelligence and the Dark Council, when he was rising as Darth Jadus.
When she first met them, he had them garbed in crimson robes and helmets obscuring their appearance from her. She only knew that they were feminine.
She often shows her fiery spirit with Adaki, knowing that she can bring her concerns to him. When she realizes that they are her, she tells him to get rid of them. He does -- showcasing his morally ambiguous nature -- but he spares one of them. I lost her name during the data glitch where I lost most of my work.
This clone accompanies Ellese and Gor'en to Zakuul when they go rescue Adaki during the events of KOTFE. Gor'en even asks Elle if she thinks that his father might have sought comfort in them during the years where Adaki was separated from Cynthia and how she even feels about them, as Elle is the twin sister of Cyn. Then, Gor'en makes quips that is his fantasy to be with multiple versions of Elle as Justin (my husband) and I were trying to keep the smuggler's personality intact with the RP.
Cloning and the Sith dagger play a large role in their love story, as it is how Adaki and Cynthia eventually reach immortality. He will not live without Cynthia.

Header created by @oasiswinds
Adaki and Cynthia has been in character development since the launch of SWTOR. These are just some head canons for them. While I typically write about their rise to power, etc, I wanted to share some softer head canons for them.
General
Adaki and Cynthia share a profound connection that often goes beyond words. They understand each other on a level that few can comprehend, and this is thanks to the Force bond they share. This bond allows them to feel each other's emotions and thoughts. Adaki often says that he can feel her the moment she steps foot in Dromund Kaas' space station.
Despite their complex and sometimes conflicting personalities, they deeply respect each other. He admires her intelligence, resourcefulness, and unwavering loyalty to him. She loves his cunning, wisdom, and power he wields as a Sith Lord and Council member.
As it is her, Adaki often provides a safe space for vulnerability to help each other find strength in moments of weaknesses. This is seen as Cynthia's assault during a mission to Corellia.
They share a common vision for the future and work together to achieve their goals. They strive to create a legacy that transcends their individual ambitions, seeking to reshape the Empire according to their ideals.
Adaki's strategic thinking and her tactical expertise form a formidable combination. They complement each other's skills. They have a unique synergy to their partnership, making them an unstoppable force when working together.
Trust is the foundation on which their relationship was built. They confide in each other, knowing that their secrets and vulnerabilities are safe in each other's hands.
Adaki is fiercely protective of Cytnhia, willing to go to great lengths to ensure her safety and well-being. This is seen when he reshapes Imperial Intelligence as Darth Jadus to find her when she was forcefully extracted from his household.
Their theme song is Phantom of the Opera.
As opposed to canon events, Lana Beniko and Cynthia worked together to free Adaki from the grip of Arcann. She even buried the hatchet with her twin sister. Together, they sought Gor'en Arturis, Adaki' estranged son, to help get to Zakuul and rescue Adaki.
The clones that Adaki uses on Dromund Kaas as Jadus are clones of Cynthia. He created them when she was separated from him the first time.
Their shipping name is Arescost.
Cute:
Adaki and Cynthia have endearing nicknames for each other that they only use in private. He likes to call her 'Cyn' as she is his favorite sin. Cynthia calls him darling.
Despite their serious roles, they will often engage in playful banter and teasing when they are alone together. They enjoy light-hearted exchanges that showcase their wit and sense of humor.
Adaki loves to surprise Cynthia with gifts. As Jadus, he gifted her her ship, and, even, an apartment.
It is a running gag in their relationship. Cynthia just can't cook. Adaki loves preparing food for her and serving it to her. he often makes Iridonian dishes for her to try, and she loves them.
They share a love for dancing. They tend to attend formal events together and steal moments on the dance floor.
They tend to have surprised kisses. Whether it's a quick peck on the cheek or a lingering kiss, these displays of affection keep the flames of their love alive.
Both of their love languages are physical touch. They often exchange gentle caresses, such as a gentle brush of his fingers through her long hair.
Disturbing (as he is a Sith):
Adaki will often present unsettling gifts that reflect his Sith Nature. He captured a Loth wolf and brought it to the Dark Heart on Voss to corrupt it.
Adaki's love for Cynthia often manifests as an obsession to protect her at all costs. This often leads him to questionable actions: eliminating potential rivals. He heard about how she 'married' a voss who lived in a tea house to enter the Dark Heart. he burnt the tea house to the ground with Cynthia's 'husband' inside.
He is willing to sacrifice anything, including innocent lives, in the name of their live. He justifies his actions as necessary to protect their relationship and ensure their survival.
Adaki sees her as an extension of himself and is willing to destroy anyone or anything that threatens to take her away from him. This includes murdered rogue force users that Imperial Intelligence sent to bring her to Shadow Town on Nar Shaddaa. This was his last act as Darth Jadus.
Intimate
Adaki will often surprise Cynthia with romantic candlelit dinners, prepared with meticulous attention to detail.
Amidst their chaotic lives, Adaki and Cynthia retreat to secluded safehouses. Here, they find solace in each other's arms, away from the prying eyes of the Empire.
Adaki and Cynthia often attend Imperial gatherings together, disguised as a power couple. They play the roles of charismatic and influential individuals while subtly working to gather intelligence or manipulate key figures.
On quiet evenings, Adaki will often take Cynthia to secluded locations where they can lay under the stars. He will often whisper poetic words of love and admiration.
After a long day of Sith intrigues and covert missions, Adaki and Cynthia will often find solace in each other's arms. They stay up late into the night, sharing their deepest thoughts and dreams. Cynthia is the only one who knows his true fears.
He will often indulge her in sensual bathing rituals. He prepares luxurious baths with fragrant oils and petals. He enjoys washing her body.
Adaki offers private training to Cynthia, where he guides her in honing her Sith abilities after he does away with the block placed on her mind, dampening her force abilities. These sessions become moments of intense focus and vulnerability, where he pushes her to her limits and helps her unlock her hidden potential.
As part of their training, they often engage in trust exercises. This includes blindfolded combat training or situations where she places her life in his hands.
In moments of vulnerability, Cynthia allows Adaki to interrogate her, testing her loyalty and resolve. However, these interrogations take on an intimate nature, with Adaki delving into Cynthia's deepest secrets, fears, and desires. The trust she places in him during these sessions strengthens their connection.
Sometimes, Adaki and Cynthia find comfort in the silence of each other's presence. They don't need words to express their love. Their mere existence together is enough. They will often sit together, enjoying the simple pleasures of being in each other's arms.
Once a mission is successfully completed, Adaki and Cynthia celebrate in private, relishing their victories. These celebrations often lead to passionate moments of intimacy, where the adrenaline of their triumphs spills over into their connection as they revel in their shared achievements.
NSFW
Adaki and Cynthia revel in the passionate intensity they share during their intimate moments.
Adaki and Cynthia take pleasure in discovering each other's erogenous zones and eliciting intense sensations. They enjoy the gentle caresses and kisses on sensitive areas such as the neck, ears, inner thighs, and abdomen, heightening the anticipation and arousal.
Adaki and Cynthia relish in the sensations of their bodies intertwining and the pleasure derived from their tactile connection. They delight in exploring each other's curves, muscles, and contours, reveling in the power of touch as it ignites their desires.
He loves it when she strips for him. She will often throw clothes at him, and he breaths in the clothing, inhaling her scent.
Passionate and intense kisses are a favorite of Adaki and Cynthia. They savor the taste and feel of each other's lips, often incorporating playful biting and nibbling to heighten their arousal and add an element of primal desire.
Adaki and Cynthia enjoy whispering sweet nothings and provocative phrases to each other. The sound of their voices, laden with desire and longing, adds an extra layer of intimacy and arousal to their encounters.
Maintaining intense eye contact is a powerful aspect of Adaki and Cynthia's lovemaking. They lock gazes, seeking a deep connection and a sense of intimacy as they engage in their passionate encounters, heightening the emotional and physical connection between them.
Adaki and Cynthia appreciate the beauty and allure of each other's bodies. They take pleasure in admiring and worshiping one another, appreciating every inch of exposed skin, and reveling in the physical attraction they share.
The climax of their lovemaking is a highly anticipated and deeply satisfying moment for both Adaki and Cynthia. They relish in the intense pleasure that courses through their bodies, often experiencing simultaneous climaxes.
Adaki and Cynthia share a mutual thrill in the exhibitionist nature of their intimacy. They find excitement in the possibility of being observed or discovered while engaging in their passionate encounters. They love to make love in semi-public places like secluded balconies or dimly lit corridors and don't care if someone watches. This is shown after a passionate sparring when they make love not caring about who was around them or in his seat in the Dark Council chamber on Korriban before the events of KOTFE.

Sitting here today and thinking about how Noktis would burn the entire galaxy if it met Cynthia was safe. He can be a bit of a hypocrite, as he would extinguish world if it would prevent her death.
It was only the natural progression for her to become the Hand of Jadus in the storyline. It also makes Corellia that more tragic when he withdrew from space without telling her why -- only to summon her like after the events of the Agent storyline.
@serenofroses just tagging you for swtor. 😊

"Jadus is a powerful man," Adaki advised. "If you ever decide to have children, their pedigree would be unmistakable. They would make tremendous Sith. You should agree to his offer."
Of course, Noktis would be all for that. He still wants a relationship with her, but he doesn't want to reveal their past relationship as that would tear her mind apart.
He also tests her to make sure that she has the stomach to carry out his plans on remaking the Empire into the image he sees fit. Oh, honey. Cynthia does. She'll look into your darkest moments and revel in it with you.

As today is my day off, I thought I would share another fanfiction character. This is still my husband's SWTOR character. He has given me permission to write for him.
question provided by @oc-a-day. What’s your OC’s immediately family like and their dynamic? Who do they get along with most? Least?
Adaki has the following immediate family:
Aatana - Daughter
Cynthia Prescost - Wife
Ellese - Daughter - in - Law
Gor'en - Son
Kymor - Son
Zhorrid - Daughter
The Godfather and the real-life Borgias inspired the Arturis family. Like both Vito Corleone and Rodrigo Borgia settled in a foreign country, Adaki Arturis, later known as Darth Noktis, settled in on a foreign planet where he needed to settle and raise his three children: Aatana, Gor'en, and Zhorrid.
Adaki created his power-center in Kaas City on Dromund Kaas and had a host of homes and apartments. Rodrigo and Vito centered their power centers around the Vatican and New York.
Below, I go into depth on what inspired each of the children.
AATANA ARTURIS
When designing Aatana’s personality, I wanted someone who could be used as a political pawn by her father. Aatana would have several failed engagements as Noktis dominated his eldest daughter’s life. Her first engagement was to a useless and abusive Sith lord, who would betray the Arturis family, much like Giovanni Sforza had done to Alexander VI. Aatana, herself, would murder this Sith.
Aatana was in a brief relationship with the bounty hunter: Channas. This fizzled out as she became tired of sneaking around. It is no wonder why Aatana spied on Adaki for her mother, Farina.
GOR'EN ARTURIS
Like Kymor, Gor’en was inspired by Michael Coreleon. While he was at odds with his father most of the time, he would help his family out of obligation, protecting his siblings. Gor’en wants nothing to do with the Force, as he describes it as “putting on a wet sock” when he used the Force to stabilize Ellese’s life until he and Aric Jorgan could get her to a kolto tank after Noktis attacked them on Ord Mantell.
All that changed when Cynthia, Ellese, and the four-year-old Kymor came for his help on Risha. They needed his help to rescue his father. He didn’t show it, but he was overcome with emotion and pledged to help Ellese and his younger brother. He did not desire to lead the family, leaving that to Kymor, but he wanted to join the fight.
Noktis gets along least with Gor'en. He views him as a shameful secret, someone who deserted the Sith academy, and, therefore, deserves death.
KYMOR ARTURIS
Kymor is inspired by Michael Corleone and Cesare Borgia. As soon as Darth Noktis and Cynthia disappear together on Oricon, Kymor takes over the family. It is during this time that it is revealed that he is a true leader. He is very intelligent, inheriting that from both of his parents. Kymor shows no emotions, except to Romina, and shares no secrets with anyone. He is always one step ahead of his enemies. He is one of the only children that Noktis is proud of.
ZHORRID
My interpretation of Zhorrid was inspired somewhat by Lucrezia Borgia. Until Cynthia and Noktis conceived Kymor, she was the youngest member of the Arturis Family. She is the youngest daughter. Unlike Aatana, Noktis did not use her as a political pawn.
Until she became a Sith Lord, Zhorrid was the apple of her father’s eye. He would hire a tutor, so she could have singing lessons. He would set up an event in Kaas City for her only. Her singing would make all in attendance cry. Noktis would commission several paintings of Zhorrid.
Much like with Aatana, Gor’en, and Kymor, Noktis’ parenting changed when Zhorrid was admitted into the Sith Academy. He became more critical of her and the damage that she would do to his legacy.
All of his children needed to pass a “Rite of Courage.” Noktis truly believes in the survival of the fittest, but he watches over his children who are in the Academy, hoping to embolden those children. He’s teaching his children to be strong Sith. None save Kymor realizes this.

I'm just sitting here thinking how my Sith couple is the normal couple in my Star wars Universe. I mean if you discount some of the things that Noktis does for Cynthia -- including being the reason why her sister, Ellese, had to have skin-like implants on her leg and arm.

While I am an original writeblr, I've been thinking about Noktis and Cynthia, my SWTOR characters lately. After they marry, I'm thinking that they go on a year long holiday for their honeymoon where they spend time with each other, deal with Sith politics, etc.
Noktis will attend the Dark Council via holocom. Some of the places where they go: Gold Beaches of Corellia (where his son and her twin sister break up) and other worlds that I haven't thought about yet.
Is it bad that the normal relationship of those SWTOR characters is a Sith and his agent?

Hello everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful day. Mine has been a blast, and will continue that way.
As per this poll, Star Wars: The Old Republic received the most votes. I'm trying to get back into it as I haven't played in about six months, and I love my bounty hunter, but that is not who I am going to write about.
I'm going to answer this for Darth Noktis, a zabrak Sith Assassin.
Note: I play Adaki as Darth Jadus / Nox in my unofficial Star Wars novels and several fanfiction. He is the lover to the Imperial Agent Cynthia Prescost. Most of everything I write is canon divergent. Certain events happen well before the canon in the Inquisitor line.
question provided by @oc-a-day. Thank you so much for all you do.
What is your OC’s job and do they enjoy it? Did they have any past employment?
TW: death. slavery. torture.
Darth Noktis's career includes being a slave, becoming an acolyte, an apprentice, and eventually a Darth and a Dark Councilor. He would eventually become the outlander.
Darth Noktis was originally the son of an Iridonian Warlord. He was being groomed to take his father's place when he died, but neither could foresee what was about to happen. When he was young, he witnessed his father's death and was taken as a slave. For much of his younger years, he was sent to different households as he was bought and sold and even lost in a game of sabacc.
Adaki would wind up in the household of a fellow Iridonian and given to the master's daughter: Farina. Farina was a master of torture and would assault Adaki on a daily basis. She would tell her father she wanted to become Adaki's bonded mate, and under threat of death, he would be forced to undergo the ritual of Tai'Shan with her. During this time, his connection with the Force strengthened.
Adaki would bide his time and fed upon the anger he felt for Farina and his master. When his master secured a place for Farina and his son-in-law to be trained in the Sith Academy, Adaki had a vision. He would one day rule the galaxy with a mate by his side. At the time, he didn't realize that this would be the human woman named Cynthia Prescost, formally known as Covelli.
He murdered his master and journeyed to Korriban with Farina. There he completed his trials and secured an apprenticeship with a Lord named Zash. He was a dutiful servant, even earning the title of Darth, but he also bided his time to end her much like he plotted to end his father-in-law, as Zash would often give him tasks that would insult his strange personal code.
Adaki would become a Dark Councilor twice in his long career as he would use his Lord Adaki persona to torment and control the actions of Agent Covelli as she mourned the loss of her lover: Darth Jadus who was actually Adaki. As Darth Jadus, he would proclaim his death.
When Cynthia came across him again, she would give him her half of the codes as she was deeply influenced by his Lord Adaki persona at the time. He would have his Jadus personality vanish after he dispatched a group of fringe Force Users that Imperial Intelligence employed to bring their "troubled" agents to Shadowtown.
He wouldn't take the vacant seat that his absence had caused. This was partly due to what had happened to his agent wife upon Corellia. He took Cynthia to Iridonia and used the Force upon his homeworld to bolster his dark magick and repair the force block that Imperial Intelligence and the Dark Council placed upon her mind that cut her off from the Force.
As Lord Adaki and having his wife finally healed, he would turn his attention to a more personal nature: familial matters. He began hunting his wayward Force-sensitive son, Gor'en. This is when his former master's enemy -- Darth Thanaton -- decided to return in his life.
He would eventually engage Thanaton in a Kaggath where he would engage the other Sith in single combat. As he was losing, Thanaton fled to Korriban. Adaki followed, and before the Dark Council, he overpowered Thanaton and killed the other Sith.
Afterward, Darth Noktis would take the now-vacant seat on the Dark Council, overseeing the Sphere of Ancient Knowledge. He did enjoy his position on the Dark Council, but he knows that he is destined for greater things.

New Fandom OC: Uncharted
Over the years, since playing the first Uncharted, I had this inspiration for a character who was a bartender in Bali, hoping to flesh her out but somehow she just fell to the waste side for better, more flesh out OCs: Annabelle Vasser, Cynthia Prescost, and Adaki Arturis, including my own original writing.
5 years after Thief's End
The setting is 5 years after the events of "A Thief's End", and unfortunately, Elena and Cassie have been murdered by Rourke MacLoughlin to give Nathan Drake motivation to find the journal of famed treasure hunter: Arthur "Art" Donovan. This journal will lead him to the Ark of the Covenant.
Four years before their deaths, Rourke and his men torture and kill Donovan for the location of his journal which possesses images and drawings related to significant locations like Petra and Solomon's Temple. These details in his journal hold crucial information about the Ark, making him a valuable source of knowledge.
Nate journeys to Bali in hopes of finding the journal and start his adventure for the elusive Ark of the Covenant, but he didn't intend on meeting Arthur's daughter: a ginger named Niamh Donovan. She is pivotal to helping him come to terms with Elena and Cassie's deaths.
Niamh Donovan - mixologist and surrogate daughter to Victor Sullivan.
Fortune favors the bold, and I'm not one to shy away.
Allow me to introduce Niamh Donovan, a spirited mixologist, intrepid explorer, and skilled bullwhip wielder. With a magnetic personality and a passion for uncovering hidden gems, Niamh's bartending skills are matched only by her insatiable thirst for adventure.
Inspired by her late father, Arthur Donovan, a renowned archaeologist and the real-life inspiration for the legendary Indiana Jones, Niamh has inherited a love for all things ancient and mysterious. Her father's untimely death at the hands of the nefarious Rourke MacLoughlin, a merciless member of the IRA with a dark agenda, shattered her world. Alongside imparting his vast knowledge of history and archaeology, Arthur also taught Niamh the art of wielding a bullwhip, a skill that she has honed to perfection.
Enter Victor "Sully" Sullivan, a long-term friend of Niamh's father and the second person to hold her in his arms when she was born. Sully became her surrogate father, offering guidance, support, and a wealth of knowledge acquired from his own adventurous endeavors. Together, they share a bond that goes beyond blood, forging an unbreakable connection based on shared experiences and a mutual desire to protect one another.
In the midst of these personal upheavals, Niamh and Sully find solace and a headquarters for their thrilling escapades at Sunset Shores, the bar Niamh owns in the heart of Bali. Nestled along the idyllic coastline, Sunset Shores serves as more than just a watering hole for locals and travelers. Behind the bar's tropical façade lies a hidden world of maps, artifacts, and plans—a secret base where Niamh and Sully strategize their expeditions and regale patrons with tales of their daring adventures.
As the sun sets on the horizon, casting a golden glow over Sunset Shores, Niamh shakes up exotic cocktails inspired by her global travels. The bar becomes a haven for those seeking a taste of adventure, with its walls adorned with relics and memorabilia from Niamh's expeditions. It's here that she imparts her passion for mixology to eager patrons, showcasing her creativity and attention to detail in every sip.
With the bar's vibrant atmosphere and the constant influx of fascinating characters passing through its doors, Sunset Shores becomes a hub of information, a place where rumors and whispers of ancient treasures circulate like the ocean breeze. Niamh and Sully sift through these tales, piecing together the puzzle of their next adventure over glasses of expertly crafted libations.
In the midst of these personal upheavals, fate throws Niamh into the path of Nathan Drake, the legendary adventurer with a penchant for danger. As they embark on thrilling quests across the globe, Niamh discovers that Rourke's lieutenant approaches Drake with a twisted offer: the possibility of bringing back Elena and Cassie, Nate's beloved wife and daughter, by locating the Ark of the Covenant. Unbeknownst to Drake, Rourke harbors a sinister ambition to acquire the Staff of Aaron, a hidden artifact within the Ark, which he believes will make him the next messiah.
The timing couldn't be more precarious, as their journey commences in 2020, just weeks before Kuta Beach, Bali plunges into lockdown due to the global pandemic. Amidst the chaos and uncertainty, Niamh, Drake, and Sully must navigate treacherous paths, solve ancient riddles, and outmaneuver Rourke's cunning henchmen. It's a race against time to uncover the secrets of the Ark of the Covenant, protect their loved ones' memory, and prevent Rourke from achieving his apocalyptic ambitions.
So, grab a drink and join Niamh Donovan on her exhilarating journey of adventure, mixology, and redemption. Raise your glass to her inspiring lineage, her surrogate father Sully, and the thrilling unknown that lies ahead. Cheers to new horizons, unforgettable friendships, and the legacy of legends!

Heads Up, 7 Up/Last Line Tag
Thank you so much for the tag, @blind-the-winds. I really loved your snippet and Bixby.
This one is actually from my Star Wars fan fiction: Death of an Apprentice.
"Cynthia," Adaki spoke, turning to her. "I want you to go upstairs, get comfortable in your new home. The droids will make you whatever you desire to eat. If you're not hungry, perhaps a bath would be desirable? Whatever you wish. Make the apartment your home." "Where are you going?" She couldn't keep her curiosity silent. "If there is one thing I despise, it is tardiness. No one keeps me waiting. I have a late tutor to see about, and this fool better have the best excuse in the galaxy for his lateness."

Friday Kiss Tag.
Thanks for the tag, @perasperaadastrawriting. I adored yours.
I know "technically" it is not Friday, but I wanted to share this. This is from a Star Wars fan fiction set in the Old Republic. Cynthia is an Imperial Agent sent to discover information about Adaki's master.
Cynthia was suddenly jerked forward. Her body crashed against his. He didn't move an inch. His black robes fluttered in the breeze, the cloth rippling against his deceptive slim frame. How could someone so powerful look like he did. The Sith bent his head and violently claimed her lips with his own. If he was as powerful as he was passionate, he was a very powerful Sith, indeed. Embracing her, her master pulled her against him. She, looping her arms around his broad shoulders, met his eagerness with her own. Cynthia had never wanted anyone as much as she wanted this Zabrak. It confused her as she was usually involved with self-interests and bettering herself as an agent. This Sith threatened to ruin all of that. As Prescost melted into the Sith's arms, the only thought entering her head was that she needed an extraction. She was becoming too close to her target. It was a dangerous game: one that she would lose as she was already having conflicting emotions around him. She was falling in love with him, and she didn't even know his name.
As I am catching up on my tags, this is an open tag.
