Ew, but he's so Northern. 🤨" like straight up turn down an offer to dance with him at a crowded feast disgusted. T.T

HMMMMM this could be interesting! *maths fly around Ptyer's head* if Therese is Rhaenyra's daughter, and Rhaenyra is married to Daemon...would that be enough for vengeance?? 🤔 I could totally see him trying to seduce or get close to her, mainly as a fuckyou to the Targaryen's in her line, while also trying to get closer to the rest of the family to 🗡️🗡️🗡️ rip or maybe offer to marry her, only to stand her up on the day T.T or even start a terrible rumor that he found her with someone else. He doesn't really have problems with bastards...just THIS family's bastards hehehe

I have no siblings, my mother is a whore and has scores of bastards #ew" Also, in my verse Helaena is queer, so I think it would be hilarious if Aemma had no idea Tristan has any feels for Helaena, because Aemma thinks she's a girl-kisser hehehe Aemma is ALWAYS questioning Tristan's loyalty, and speaks of them as if they are in no way related, Aemma basically speaks of herself as a daughter of Alicent T.T She probably has some name for him, like "the traitor queen's bastard" or something...She refers to him as SNOW and Snow only. T.T "Ser Snow" rip She only shit-talks her mother, Rhaenyra. She's also probs have some non-great things to say about House Dormaire...OH AND! She has dragondreams of the horrors of Old Valyria, so maybe she knows some deep, dark Doramaire secrets??

Took me a hot second to reply to this but omg I love all of this.

No one loves Helaena more than Tristan and Mabel, and that’s just a fact😌. Sorry Aegon. Sorry Aemond. Actually not sorry no one can compete with them.

Kind of obsessed with the tension between Mabel and Therese too ngl. The jealousy over Criston (also lol why do you kinda have a point about him) and legitimization and status? Love it. And is it truly unrequited… who can say? (It’s me. I can say. And I don’t think it would entirely be unrequited. Therese told me so.����)

Darren and Nadya is actually so fun to me lol. Idk why but I love putting her in arranged marriages so I’m here for the drama of their marriage lol. Also she would be so I-can-fix-him, I just know it. That’s who she is.

I had the same problem when I sent mine, ngl. Gotta make a masterlist and introduction post eventually.

Imagine showing up to a “I love Helaena Targaryen more than the air that I breathe” contest and Mabel & Tristian are already there with a bouquet of flowers and collection of bugs. I’d call it day.

Mabel would definitely have a suppressed crush on Theresa, that manifests into jealousy when she has an affair with Criston. The LGBT Community of Westeros whorifying Criston Cole is a canon event, I don’t make the rules. Part of Mabel believes she’s jealous because Theresa is a legitimized bastard who got to marry not one but two princes, while she struggled to earn the name Strong and settled for Tyland. On the other hand, she knows deep inside it’s frustration from an unrequited crush (maybe?)

For Darren X Nadya, I would say it’s an arranged marriage. Darren would be distant and neglectful towards Nadya, like “you do you, I guess.” For the main reason, he’s attracted to poor, common women that he can’t have and wouldn’t be faithful. He also distances himself from people because of how unstable and intense he can be, so he’s afraid of hurting her.

Live reaction of Darren when Jaime flirts openly with Nadya in front of him at their wedding feast. You stole the position of dad’s pride and joy, now you gotta steal my WIFE?

Aurynn x Tristan and Rodrik x Therese mayhaps???

aurynn and tristan would actually be an interesting match, him being the (technically) firstborn son of princess rhaenyra, and in my canon, the north is key to winning the north (alongside the vale and the reach) and they're both northeners and his grandmother per father's side was a mormont, so they'd surely arrange the marriage the moment he's legitimized, and aurynn's storyline wouldn't change much, since he has a tragic end. but i think that they'd make it work and even love each other and aurynn would always remember tristan fondly. he'd def be the best of her three husbands

now for therese and rodrik... everyone's heard of the womaniser rodrik, but once the truth outside those rumours is out, i think that therese would be that female caretaker figure he lacked in his childhood, given that his mother died in childbirth and all he's known is reluctant intimacy from brothel madams. and with her targaryen blood, i believe they could have something passionate and fiery and beautiful, and even if she also dies during the dance and ends up marrying baela nevertheless, like aurynn, would remember her fondly and tell tales of his first wife

I only realized now that Tristan was Criston‘s squire which opened up the door for an interesting dynamic between Gawen and Tristan as Gawen‘s the squire of Harwin. How do you think the two would get along? 👀

For Tristan’s part, he probably wouldn’t hold anything against Gawen personally. At least not at first. I’m sure that Criston would be whispering in his ear about Harwin and all the things he’s done and if Gawen were to defend Harwin to Tristan (and I’m sure vice versa), that might start a fight between them. But at least on Tristan’s end, that would probably only be when he’s younger. And as they get older, I feel like things might mellow out.

I guess it really depends on how Gawen would feel about him being a squire for Criston and definitely believing at least some of the things he said and parroting them. Honestly though he doesn’t really have anything against Harwin except that he’s with his mother, when he still wishes it was his own dad. And he feels like Rhaenyra doesn’t pay much attention to him because of that relationship and what’s come out of it (he doesn’t have anything against his brothers, he just wants some of his mama’s attention).

Tristan Dormaire Targaryen

Tristan could feel the eyes of every observer on him as he approached the Iron Throne. It was a strange feeling, one he supposed he would have to get used to now that he would be king.

It still amazed him that he had been chosen to succeed Aegon. Most would argue that a bastard, even a legitimized one, could not rule. But in the wake of the Dance, everything had changed. The people of Westeros needed a leader, and the only other heirs were no more than children. The Small Council had named him the obvious choice. Although he did not want it, he knew that they were right.

Standing at the base of the throne alongside the High Septon was what remained of his family. Baela, now his wife. Lord Corlys, his Hand. His father and his children, Aemon and Elaena. His young brothers, Aegon and Viserys. His cousin, Jaehaera. His heart ached at the thought of those missing but wished to have with him. There were far too many.

As he reached the throne, Baela intercepted him, intertwining her hand with his own for the briefest of moments, her expression one of reassurance. They were in this together, after all. She would be his queen.

Tristan gave her a grateful smile, then turned to face the High Septon. He knelt down before the wizened old man, who held his crown, made of gold and studded with gemstones of red and black, in his hands.

Tristan met the man’s gaze, then bowed his head. He could hear his heart hammering in his chest and thundering in his ears. His breath felt tight in his throat.

He felt the sudden weight of the crown being set upon his head, as heavy on his brow as the burden of the Realm he now felt.

“All hail King Tristan of House Targaryen, First of His Name, King of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm!”

The crowd erupted in applause and cheers as Tristan stood once more. Once Baela had been crowned with him, he finally took his seat on the throne. The metal was cool against his fingertips as he curled his hands around the arms of it.

It was a strange and powerful feeling. He wondered if this was how his mother felt. He hoped that she would have been proud of him now, following in her footsteps to rule.

Nadya Dormaire

(Since this actually happens in ATRF I’m omitting some things because spoilers)

“Jon Stark, First of His Name, King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Six Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm.”

Tyrion’s voice rang out across the throne room, and his declaration was met with thunderous applause from the gathered crowd. Nadya beamed with pride as she watched her husband, a silver direwolf crown now adorning his head. He caught her gaze and smiled back at her.

Everything that they had been through had led to this moment. All of the pain and suffering that they had endured was for this.

Now Tyrion turned towards Nadya. He held out his hands toward Sam, who passed him her own crown of blades and ravens. She knelt down before him, the gray fabric of her gown spilling out at her feet. It was a bit hard given her growing belly, but she had dealt with it more than once before. Somehow, she managed it with grace.

With great care, Tyrion placed the crown on her head. It fit comfortably on her brow, as if it had always meant to be there.

“The Queen Consort, Nadya Dormaire,” he announced. As she rose to her feet to stand beside Jon, he continued. “Behold, your new King and Queen.”

The crowd continued to cheer and applaud as Jon ascended the steps to take the throne, no longer made of the swords of the conquered but by that of the lords and ladies now sworn to them. He took his seat, and Nadya moved to stand beside him.

This was their place now, and it was their duty to serve the Realm which was now theirs. Just as Helaena had told her, all those years ago.

The Funeral

A little drabble of @sikudastoner’s OC Mabel and Helaena (and Tristan) I decided to write after the oc relationship ask game a few weeks ago!

Prince Tristan Dormaire looked almost peaceful atop the funeral pyre. He lay with his hands resting on the handle of his sword, over his heart, so that even in death he looked every bit the knight he was. On his brow had been placed the crown which had been made for him as a boy, a silver band with dragon wings adorning the sides and a glittering onyx in the center. He was dressed in black, for once without his Kingsguard armor, which he himself had discarded before his ill-fated flight over the Blackwater. Curled around him as if to protect him even in death was the remains of his dragon, Stormfyre, who had died with him.

Queen Helaena stood beside the pyre, her tear-streaked face hidden behind a black veil, the same one she had worn in mourning for her son. Her shoulder shook with quiet sobs.

Mabel’s heart ached for the grieving queen. She could not imagine the pain she felt, losing the one that she had loved.

“Each day feels like another tragedy,” Tyland murmured gloomily from beside her. “Yesterday it was Prince Jaehaerys. Today it was Ser Tristan. Who will it be tomorrow?”

Mabel said nothing, her gaze still caught on Helaena. Alicent Hightower had come to stand beside her now, rubbing her back as she whispered something in her daughter’s ear.

Concerned for her friend, Mabel slipped away from her husband and began approaching the pair.

“No, I don’t want to,” Helaena was saying, voice high and shaking with tears. “Please don’t make me do it.”

“You must, Helaena,” Alicent pressed. More softly, she added, “He would want it to be you.”

Instantly, Mabel understood what it was they were discussing. It was Helaena’s dragon, Dreamfyre, that was to light Tristan’s pyre.

The great blue dragon was perched behind the pyre, looking on with more distress than Mabel had thought possible of a dragon. The beast continued to let out low, mourning cries each time she looked down at the pyre. It was not only Helaena who was grieving. Her dragon was too. Stormfyre was her baby, she had hatched from her clutch. And so a woman had lost her lover, and a mother had lost her child.

“She’s right, Helaena,” Mabel spoke up. Both queens looked up at her as she spoke. Helaena was choking back sobs. “Tristan would have wanted you to be the one. He-he loved you. And he would have told you that you are strong enough to do this. And even if you don’t believe it, I do.”

She took Helaena’s shaking hand as she spoke.

“You can do this.”

Helaena stared at her for a long moment, lips quivering, then gazed down at Tristan one last time before turning her attention to Dreamfyre.

She did not have to speak a word for the dragon to know that she was looking. Mabel thought she could see the same pain reflecting in Dreamfyre’s eyes as Helaena’s.

And then Helaena spoke.

“Dracarys.”

Dreamfyre obeyed, shooting a burst of flame onto the pyre, and it was set ablaze.

And as it burned, as Tristan and Stormfyre were turned to nothing but ash and bone, Mabel held Helaena’s hand, and vowed to never again let it go.

Kaleb x Aldreda (x Alicent)

They’re totally friends with benefits, maybe a little more. Kaleb would find her SO hot. I mean, come on, we all know he has a thing for milfs. But he would also be very intimidated. He’d seen her from afar as Master of Ships, but they wouldn’t actually meet until he accidentally walked in on her and Alicent one time. She probably threatened to kill him to keep quiet, but he swore not to say anything and Alicent would have stopped her anyway. And there’s probably a time that Aldreda has done the same with Kaleb and Alicent. Somewhere along the way the lines blur and they become an unofficial throuple. No one messes with Alicent with those two around, that’s for sure.

He would probably offer to marry her just to support her claim against her crazy relatives but wouldn’t be offended if she said no.

“Oh you’re the heir to your family’s seat but also a hot and badass milf who is love with the queen? That’s great because I too am the heir to my house and am hot and badass dilf and in love with the queen. This works out great! Wanna be allies and maybe hold hands and make out???” - something Kaleb said, probably

Aeriana x Aldreda

They would burn down the world together. Aeriana’s a little unhinged and definitely not a typical noble woman, and Aldreda certainly isn’t either. Aeriana would pull up with her dragon to destroy her gf’s enemies and that would be that. Feral women supporting feral women. That’s it. That’s the post.

Tristan + Aldreda

Tristan probably shouldn’t be going to Aldreda for advice but he so would. She is so unlike anyone else in King’s Landing that he would be drawn to her above anyone else on the council and would trust her thoughts and opinions more than most because she has an outside perspective and he at least thinks he can trust her over anyone else. Plus, he just thinks she’s really cool.

She might be one of the only people he confesses to about his affair with Helaena, and then he’d probably ask for advice on what he should do not thinking that it might not be the best idea lol.

For Tristan, I chose white as his color because he is very much a “white knight” when it comes to his personality (and his relationship with Helaena), and I feel like such a soft, pure color suits him so well bc he is a soft, pure boy.
