Hey, y'all! I have a new oc and I can't resist talking about her, so here goes nothing:

Her name is Naia and she's a waterbending healer, the official 'triad doctor' for the Triple Threats, and Shady Shin's first cousin.

She grew up in Cranefish Cross (a mostly Water Tribe neighborhood that was the traditional territory of the Red Monsoons), but moved downtown for safety reasons when her family allied itself with the Triple Threats.

Naia first learned healing from her grandmother, who was one of Yagoda's students in Agna Qel'a. She always found it unfair that her grandma couldn't officially qualify as a doctor in Republic City because she lacked the required degrees and licenses, even though she knew more about the human body than half the surgeons at Republic General.

She earned top marks as a pre-med student at Republic City University, and started working as a nurse at Republic General right after she graduated.

It was always her intention to eventually go back to school and become a doctor, but life got in the way. She took care of her grandmother when she got sick (spirits knew Shin wasn't going to) and helped pay for her parents to build a house back in the Northern Water Tribe. And then the Equalist movement made the university a pretty hostile environment, so she was in no rush to get back there.

By the time she was finally ready to go back to school, the leadership in the Triple Threats had changed and Viper—looking to fill important positions in the organization with people he trusted— asked her to be the main healer on retainer for the triad.

The money was good—way better than what she was making as a nurse—and the hours were decent (unless there was a turf war going on) and the truth was she could never say no to Viper.

Ophidian Graves was born Isaiah Graves into a struggling but close-knit family in a small town deep in Louisiana’s bayou. His parents, deeply rooted in Cajun culture and steeped in the region’s folklore, viewed serpents as powerful symbols of transformation, resilience, and mystery. Though they loved their son, they were also devoutly religious and superstitious, which shaped their perception of his strange abilities.

Isaiah’s mutation began to surface around his 12th birthday. His once soft brown skin developed patches of hard, green scales, and his dark eyes transformed into vertical slits like a snake’s. These changes frightened not only his classmates—who cruelly labeled him a freak—but also his parents, who struggled to reconcile their love for their son with their growing fear of his transformation. While they didn’t abandon him outright, their unease created a rift in their relationship, and Isaiah felt increasingly alienated from his family and community.

As the bullying worsened, Isaiah embraced his serpent-like traits, renaming himself Ophidian—a name that reflected both his power and the detachment he felt from his human identity. To him, the name was a shield, a way to reject the humanity that had rejected him. Despite the pain of his early life, his Cajun roots and the resilience he inherited from his family remained integral parts of his identity, influencing his resourcefulness and his connection to the natural world

Mutant Powers:

• Snake Physiology: Enhanced strength, speed, and agility, with scale-covered skin that provides natural armor.

• Venomous Bite: Can inject a potent neurotoxin through his sharp teeth, capable of paralyzing or incapacitating enemies.

• Prehensile Tail: His tail serves as a versatile tool for combat or movement, allowing him to strike or grapple with incredible precision.

• Hypnotic Gaze: His glowing yellow eyes can mesmerize or disorient opponents for brief periods, though it takes a toll on him if overused.

Adulthood

By the time he turned 20, Ophidian had left the swamps and ventured into cities, trying to find a place in the world. His intimidating appearance and powers, however, made it nearly impossible. He fell into the underworld, using his abilities for mercenary work and shady jobs. Dubbed “The Viper” in criminal circles, he became feared for his precision, but this life left him hollow. Deep down, Ophidian longed for purpose and connection, but his mistrust of others—and himself—kept him from seeking redemption.

Everything changed at 30, when he was hired to take out an undercover mutant operative. This operative turned out to be Storm, a member of the X-Men. During their confrontation, she recognized his potential and saw through his bitterness. Storm offered him a choice: continue living as a tool of destruction or come to the Xavier Institute to learn control and find a family among other mutants.

Reluctant but intrigued, Ophidian took her offer—partly because he was tired of running, and partly because he had never been offered kindness before. He joined the Institute, though fitting in proved challenging. He often butted heads with other members due to his solitary nature and harsh outlook.

Role in the X-Men:

Over time, Ophidian proved himself to be a valuable member of the team, specializing in reconnaissance, stealth missions, and combat scenarios that required precision. Despite his venomous appearance, he began to form bonds with other outcasts like Nightcrawler and Wolverine, who understood what it was like to carry the burden of being seen as a monster.

Now what about his personality?

• Brooding yet Loyal: Ophidian is quiet and guarded, but fiercely protective of those he cares about.

• Dry Sense of Humor: His wit is sharp, often laced with sarcasm. He isn’t one to sugarcoat things.

• Conflicted: Despite being on the side of good, he struggles with his darker impulses and sometimes doubts he belongs with the X-Men.

• Philosophical: His years of solitude made him introspective. He often speaks in riddles or metaphors, drawing on his love of old swamp tales and mythology.

It’s zoramay and I haven't posted most if not all of my zora ocs! Some even gotten a mini redesign since I last posted them. I thought to remedy that and show them off. Warning this post will be a bit long!

First is Ayana!

General Info: At a young age, she lost her remaining family to a tragedy that affected her whole home. After being taken in by the elders, she became a selective mute after constantly being looked down upon by others and hearing whispers about her and her family. She had enough of the treatment she was receiving at one point and decides to run away from home, heading to the seas. She was found by a ship ran by zoras after getting lost and was taken to Hyrule. After years of spending with the ship's crew, she leaves to set on a new adventure and finds a place to stay in Faron.

General info: A zora who travels all of Hyrule. He is a potion maker/seller and has a pet red panther chameleon. He generally wears a cloak as his appearance can be intimidating. He has done questionable things in the past, but he means well and is a big goofball and jokester. Everyone he meets he does his best to show respect, and even if they say mean things of him, he dismisses it and has a good laugh. Only his friends and loved ones he will absolutely protect with every fiber of his being.

General info: A hitman for hire, borderline serial killer. From growing up in a relatively wealthy family in one of the most shady places, to being mistreated by his corrupt father, Dalen strives to kill those in power, those he deem scum or for those who want revenge. These are done for a price, or by his own hands. His calm demeanor masks the manipulative and twisted side of him. He uses a sheikah weapon with a similar laser to the guardians, sniping those from afar with one killing blow. To him he is no madman, only serving true justice.

Since Detective! Yuu is a thing, I’ve been thinking about Yuu is a famous yet sassy teen detective.

However, when they discovered a shady deal after solving a murder in a concert, they were knocked unconscious by two men in black (Leech brothers), then Jade force-fed them a lethal apple-flavored poison which left the remnants untraceable when examined by forensics, to silence them.

However, the two wouldn’t thought that Yuu survived, because their body has been turned into a child instead! 

With the help of Professor Divus Crewel, our stylish yet sadistic scientist and inventor, they have to keep their identity secret from the world, lest the two will come back to eliminate them for good.

Besides Crewel, Yuu meets the people who ended up as invaluable allies in their quest to take down the mafia - one of them is Epel Felmier, codename “Sleep Kiss”.

Epel Felmier (child identity: Ronald Crewel) is a scientist who formerly worked under the Octavinelle Mafia headed by the powerful and well-connected boss Azul Ashengrotto. He is the creator of the lethal apple-flavored poison called “SHIRAYUKIHIME_1812″.

When he heard that his cousin was silenced, he immediately rebelled against the mafia, which ended up him being locked in a gas chamber. Desperate, he took out the aforementioned poison to take his own life, but he instead shrunken too. He escaped from captivity and he passed out in front of Yuu’s house before taken in by Crewel.

However, their existence doesn’t go unnoticed by a mysterious man, Jamil Viper. A MI6 agent who spies on Yuu and Epel, and hunt the mysterious Octavinelle Mafia. He seems knows something about an Epel Felmier more than anyone...

Notes:

- Azul and the tweels are just... too perfect to be villains (well, they’ve been that way since the beginning lol).

- Yes, Epel is Haibara here, like they shared the same motif = poison.

- I was about to put Crowley to be the role of Professor Agasa, but he seems too absent-minded (and I DON’T TRUST YOU, YOU MASKED HEADMASTER). Sam was almost perfect for this, but there’s something missing. 

- In the end, I chose Crewel instead, because he’s also knowledgeable about chemistry, just like Haibara. I bet that his jerk-with-a-heart-of-gold personality can spice their lives, ayeee.

- Yep, Jamil take the role of Akai Shuichi here, but he’s in the MI6, while Akai is in the FBI. Both possess a certain allure that I can’t even describe.

- The codenames used by the mafiosi is based on their personal unique magic.

Stygga Castle

The Feline witchers did not stay in Stygga Castle for long. Nor anywhere else, actually.

A vast citadel located on a cliff overlooking a lake somewhere in Ebbing. (One of the largest states dependent on the Nilfgaardian Empire, though officially operates as an autonomous and self-governing kingdom. Situated at the junction of rivers and bordering the Great Sea, it is known for its marshes and swamps.)

Training

Cat students hone their balance by walking a tightrope blindfolded. Failure is easy to shrug off at first, but throughout their training, the walk gets higher⁠—and more perilous⁠—as they work toward their final Trial, where failure is not so forgiving.

Cats did not have a permanent home they performed their training wherever they could, even within human cities.

Most of the witcher gals and elven (or half-elven) witchers were from the Feline school.

Each witcher school holds a unique reputation. Bears – sulkers and firebrands. Wolves – traditionalists. And Cats? Prone to use steel swords more often than silver. 

Unlike other witchers, those from the School of the Cat were not committed to a position of neutrality. As a result, they were often hired as spies and assassins. And it's no wonder – assassinating a nobleman usually paid better than slaying a drowner.

The ill repute of Feline witchers became increasingly notorious in royal circles. After a time, kings and queens began to fear in earnest for their lives. For the witchers, however, this came not as a point of pride, but one of concern, for rulers do not like to feel threatened...

One day, an army marched onto the grounds of the School of the Cat. For three days the blood-soaked slaughter persisted, but eventually every last defending witcher perished. As for those who were not present during the attack? They continue to roam the world's roads - embittered, hungry for vengeance, with nothing left to lose...

Armor

Cat school witchers do not deal a lot of raw damage, but can inflict deadly critical hits. By extension, their gear was designed to maximize flexibility and provide the greatest possible range of motion.

Brehen

Known as the Cat of Iello. A moniker earned not from origins, but as a result of slaughtering peasants there. More of a massacre, really.

Like most of his kin, Brehen was a rogue and an outcast. Prone to bouts of heightened emotion and erratic behaviour – attributed to the school's warped mutation process – Brehen's volatile nature was infamous. Mostly due to his hand in the massacre at the town of Iello, which forever branded him with the shady moniker: Cat of Iello.

Dragonfly

Born to imprisoned duchess, Dragonfly was to be murdered by order of her usurper uncle. However, when his servant ordered to kill the baby saw it, he decided to instead abandon it alive on a coast. A Cat witcher travelling nearby took the baby to Stygga, not realizing it was the same child he had been earlier promised by her father via the Law of Surprise.

Dragonfly was trained as a proper witcher. In her teenage years the school was visited by her brother who urged her to come with him and dethrone the usurper. She eventually agreed, perhaps under the influence of elder witchers.

Aside from oc ship with chamber, do you also ship other valo agents with him like cyber, yomber or sosaber?

Yes! I particularly enjoy Yomber. Def not a fan of Cyber and Sosaber tho, or Sage/Chamber and Sova/Chamber for that matter. My opinion with most valo ships is and will always be: the only reason people like it is because they look aesthetically pleasing together/their personalities go well together and that’s fine as long as they don’t try to defend it with (1) singular voiceline or badly interpreted lore. And I find this to be particularly true with Chamber ships. Chamber is an enigma and I find him notoriously hard to “shippy ship”.

I feel like he’d do casual flings at most bc his work doesn’t allow him to settle down with someone. Due to his somewhat questionable? motivations, I find it hard to ship him with anyone in the protocol who’s faint of heart, too pure hearted or not interested in shady business. Think any of the younger girls, Sage and Sova. I like to imagine him getting chummy with some of the ‘older’ agents just for his own benefit like Viper, Brim and Reyna but nothing serious. I like him having a thing with Yoru or Phoenix bc they both have the annoying, boastful boy vibes and I feel like Chamber would enjoy the mental challenge of getting them to show their true selves. Chamber/Astra and Chamber/Kay/O are fine just not for me.

Sosaber is an OT3 I don’t understand. I don’t see the appeal. I don’t like any of the individual ships either. OT3s in general are a bit iffy for me bc I’d never polyship my own OC and I’ve never had a canon OT3 that really really I liked. But that aside, I will never understand why people ship Sova or Sage with Chamber. It just doesn’t make sense to me. Sorry!

And I find ships with Cypher really difficult bc Cypher is clearly mourning the loss of his wife and child and I can only see him get in a new relationship if he finds peace first. Also I just don’t think Cypher and Chamber have *that* chemistry together. Aside from the fact that I find Cypher hard to ship with anyone, he doesn’t feel like someone who’d go for Chamber of all people. People ship them, imho, just to satisfy the enemies to lovers trope. I love that trope but it just doesn’t work for them. I do feel like they could be good coworkers or friends if it turns out that Chamber is being shady for VP’s benefit and essentially helping them from behind the scenes

Part 1/2

Rewind time. After your parting from Joseph in 1939, you headed back home and spend the following years taking care of your remaining family as best as you could. You worked your ass off to get the money to afford them a roof, food and proper education.

Once the youngest sibling has spread their wings, though, you find yourself considerably more aged and slightly lost. You had dedicated your whole life to your family, and now you had all parted ways to start your individual lives. And Caesar's absence haunted you still, years later.

As a result, you decide to seek a new purpose. Leaving the house to your family, you leave for what will be a lifetime's worth of travelling. All you bring with you is essential things and Caesar's headband.

You choose to disguise yourself as a man during your travels, hiding your hair and flattening your chest using bandages. That way, your beauty will attract less attention. As a result, even after so many years of meeting countless amounts of people, you never find anyone to settle down with.

Although, during your voyage, you do discover a great companion.

Your Stand emerges when you end up at the wrong place, at the wrong time. You find yourself in the middle of an ugly alley fight in Poland when suddenly, the approaching gangsters fall to the ground, screaming in agony. Thick icicles protrude from their faces and blood gushes from their odd wounds. And there's a hissing sound from your shoulders...

It takes a while for you to understand what Viper's Shiver is, and for you to accept it. Your Stand takes the shape of a ice-pale snake that can project different forms of ice from its mouth. It can also render itself longer or shorter, thicker or thinner, on your command.

At first, you conclude Viper's Shiver is your brother's spirit. After all, it uses a form of H20, just like Caesar had, and it protects you. You start wearing Caesar's headband around your arm to show him you acknowledge his presence.

For the longest time, you believe in this conclusion, especially given that no one else can see Viper's Shiver. Well, until you meet another Stand user, decades later...

Both the young Frenchman and you are shocked into awe when you first stumble across each other in Paris. You can see each others' Stands!

Your battling skills are put to the test when you two engage in a fight. However, given your lack of fighting experience and Silver Chariot's speedy close-range attacks, you are forced to admit defeat.

Once you two recover from your initial adrenaline high, Polnareff and you talk things through and realize you're both good guys. You two simply have the same ability to summon Stands. This is when you start to doubt that Caesar is Viper's Shiver. Such a thought leaves you more lost and lonely than ever.

Upon getting to know Polnareff, you realize you have more in common than you thought. You both lost a loved one and live restlessly in their absence.

Given that you're both loners, you two part eventually, heading your own ways to chase your respective goals. However, you keep in touch, having become good friends in what little time you spent together.

That is how you're able to pick out his odd behaviour when he suddenly leaves for Hong Kong.

You're quite intrigued as you watch your friend Polnareff approach a group of complete strangers in the restaurant in Hong Kong.

And then, you're utterly confused when you discover that they're all Stand users.

Even though you don't understand what's going on, you're able to tell, thanks to the Stardust Crusaders, that Polnareff is not in his right mind. As a result, you help them take him down, using Viper's Shiver's long-range attacks to your advantage as you help from a hidden spot.

Of course, once Polnareff is dealt with, the men start to search for you, sensing your presence. You're smart enough to understand that you're far too outnumbered to fight. So, you decide to escape while you can, telling yourself you'll come back for Polnareff.

But a voice stops you right in your tracks. "Wait! Is... Is that you, (Y/N)?"

You'd recognize that voice anywhere.

Joseph and you are overjoyed to see each other after so many years! You two have paid each other visits, of course, but the last time you've seen him was when his grandson was born, 17 years ago.

And... Oh boy. That tall, shady-looking man there is his grandson? Good grief, he has grown!

Much like Polnareff, you choose to join the quest to take Dio down. Joseph is like family to you. His family is your family, and you'll do anything to help.

You end up being the caring person in the group. Despite the hurry to get to Egypt, you're able to sense it when the boys start to get tense and you try your best to help them relax by offering to treat yourselves to some good food and by being someone they can count on.

Your Stand's ice abilities also help a lot in the dessert. It helps cool the group down from time to time.

When Kakyoin's eyes are injured, you end up staying by his side at the hospital. You all agreed it'd be best if someone stayed with him in case some enemy stands were sent after him. The boys are overjoyed when the two of you come back to offer a helping hand!

In the ultimate battle against Dio, you end up participating in the ambush plan on Dio. While Polnareff, Jotaro and Joseph and Kakyoin will attack from either side, you'll attack from overhead.

However, that plan falls into ruins. Upon seeing your friend Kakyoin, brutally murdered by Dio, you feel yourself fall into a world of hate. You've lost enough people as it was. You wouldn't let anyone else be taken away from you.

Blinded by rage, you launch yourself at Dio, both to quench your bloodthirst and to buy Joseph some time to escape. In that precious time, he understands Kakyoin's message and decodes The World's ability.

However, he is too late.

You're stabbed through the stomach and left by Dio to bleed out . However, even in the face of death, you don't flinch. Your time has come. You'll finally join your brother, Caesar.

Joseph somehow finds the time to come to your aid, hollering at you to stay awake. "(Y/N)! Not you too... I can't lose another one of you!"

Even as your best friend cracks before you, you find the courage to smile at him and to comfort him. "I have faith in you. We have faith in Jotaro and you."

You rip Caesar's headband off your arm and shove it into his chest. "We'll be there, fighting by your side."

Joseph is forced to pull away from you when Dio comes after him, but he promises you he'll come back and yells at you to hold on.

CHAPTER 5: The Survey Corps 

A couple of weeks prior to the quartet’s capturing, an important meeting had taken place. Erwin Smith was accompanied by the Commander of the Survey Corps, Keith Shadies, and the Supreme Commander of the three military branches, Darius Zackly, who sat at his desk.

“I cannot accept that!” Kieth yelled in disagreement at Zackly. However, he paused, discouraged by the look he earned from the Supreme Commander. “Sir, have you looked at the proposal I sent you? If it’s put into practice, we should be able to drastically reduce the number of Survey Corps deaths outside the Walls.”

In a low, grumbling voice, Zackly lightly touched the packet of papers that sat on the wooden desk in front of him. The papers had contained a whole new proposition for the regiment. “Commander… Keith Shadis. Of course I’ve reviewed your request.” His gaze made its way to the younger blond who stood further back. “This ‘long distance enemy scouting formation.’ I hear you developed it, Erwin.” 

“Yes sir.”

“It’s ingenious. I mean that sincerely.” He put a hand to his chin in thought, his finger’s ruffling his gray beard. “On previous expeditions, the corps focused entirely on how to defeat the Titans it encountered. But your proposal puts greater emphasis on how to reduce the number of Titan encounters. This totally original thinking is most admirable.”

“I am honored that you would say so, sir.”

Humanity lived inside of three fifty meter tall, concentric, stone walls: Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina. On the outside of their protection, monsters known as Titan’s roamed around, eating any human in sight. They ranged from three to fifteen meters tall and mostly resemble humans but with... deformities. Most walk on two feet, and some on all fours.

Three Regiments were created in order to keep humanity alive. The Garrison Regiment is the group that maintains and patrols the Walls. If there were to be any emergency, they would help evacuate the citizens to a safer area. Their badge bore two red roses. 

The second is the Military Police Regiment. They keep order within the Walls and dedicate themselves to protect the King or Queen. Only the top ten training cadets get the option to join them. Despite having the best recruits, they are often known as corrupt and incompentent due to them staying deep within the Walls and far from the dangerous Titans.

Finally, there is the Scouting Regiment. This division is tasked with reclaiming the treacherous land beyond their outer wall, Wall Maria. Despite being very well trained, they suffer many losses and poor results in their reclamation. More often than not, they are under the constant threat of being disbanded by the government. 

“If we use conventional formations together with this new formation… we should be able to embark on even further-ranging expeditions with fewer casualties.”

The brown haired Commander spoke once more, “General. If you understand it, then why…”

“I can’t get approval of the council.” He replied bluntly. “For a long time, many members have opposed continuing the expeditions beyond the Walls. In the past, I’ve managed to persuade them to provide funding. But now, even the public doesn’t particularly believe in sending you beyond the Walls.”

“Of course. We know that.”

“Now I have Councilman Lovof demanding the outright dissolution of the Corps. He has great influence even in the house of peers, and has a lot of cronies who sympathize with him.”

Commander Shadis began to raise his voice. “But, sir! If we stop here, all of our sacrifices up till now will be in vain! If we use Erwin’s formation, we’re sure to-”

“Keith. Please understand.”

Erwin spoke out, his voice calm and collected, “Have they already decided to suspend our activities?”

Zackly sighed as he stood from his chair. Peering outside of the window, he responded quietly. “The council won’t vote on it for another five days, but… there’s probably no way to stop it.”

“Understood, sir.”

Commander Shadis and Erwin retreated from Zackly’s office and into the horse-drawn carriage awaiting them outside. The men sat across from each other on the nicely cushioned seats. Light clomping from horses could be heard from the outside as they began moving towards their next destination.

After a bit of silence, Erwin spoke up, “It was just as you suspected, Commander.”

“...Yes. So the leader of the dissolution faction really is Nicholas Lovof...”

“According to the information I’ve gathered, Lovof has connections to the Lang Company which is delivering goods to the Military Police Brigade. He must be hoping to redirect the funds that will be freed up by suspending our expeditions.”

“Is your information reliable?” Commander Shadis questioned, shocked by the details.

“Lovof sent someone to infiltrate the Survey Corps and report on it from the inside. That spy is our source. I believe the information is highly credible.”

“And if that’s true, what do we do about it? Do we appeal to the Commander in Chief? I think that, to some extent, General Zackly is already aware of it.”

“It’s likely that there are circumstances preventing him from going public.”

Their driver slowed the horses to a stop as he hopped off of his seat and made his way to the door of the vehicle. Disrupting the two soldiers’ conversation, he opened the door and notified them that they had reached their destination. “We’ve arrived, sirs.”

Commander Shadis gave him a nod, but sighed at Erwin. “I see. I’m useless with these political intrigues.” He began to step out of the carriage, but stopped as the blond called out to him.

“Sir, would you leave this matter to me?”

“What’ll you do?” Commander Shadis turned his head over his shoulder, intrigued by the sudden request.

“I have a few ideas.”

“Ideas?” Shadis continued to walk out of the carriage.

“Even if you did have contacts in the nobility, they’re not the type to be convinced by words alone.”

“You can’t mean… Lovof himself?”

“Sir. Please don’t ask me any more than that. All of these decisions must be mine alone.”

“Erwin… you’re planning to use some shady method to force Lovof to change his position, aren’t you? Even if it is for the sake of the expeditions beyond the Walls, for a young man like you to…,” He paused, worried thoughts filling his mind for his subordinate, “The palace is a bed of vipers. Do you have a way to get out in one piece?”

“Sir.” Erwin stood up, standing in the doorway of the carriage. One of his hands held onto the side and his foot rested on the small running board. His face was stern and determined. “When I entered the Survey Corps and fought the Titans face-to-face, I learned exactly how perilous humanity’s situation really is. Wealth, authority, lofty ideals. If the Titans make it inside of the Walls, all of them will disappear in an instant.” His voice suddenly rose, “And that is why… no matter what four means we must use, we can never abandon our efforts to take this world back from the Titans. Come what may!”

The commander stared at Erwin in shock and his thoughts were scattered. It took him a moment to decide what would be the best course of action. “...very well. I will leave it all to you. No matter what, we must hold onto our hope for the future.”

“Yes, sir. And at the council meeting five days from now, we will lose the first arrow in that fight.”

Days later, both Keith Shadies and Erwin Smith were called to Darius Zackly’s office once again. The older Supreme Commander readjusted his round glasses as his eyes focused on Shadis. “It passed. I never would have imagined that Councilman Lovof would change his mind. Keith, do you have any idea why he did?”

“No, sir, not personally.”

Zackly eyed him with suspicion before turning towards Erwin. “I see. There are still many voices calling for dissolution. This time, you got the go-ahead, but I can’t guarantee there will be a next time. You’ll have to produce significant results this term if you want to change the situation.”

“Yes, sir! We’ll do our utmost!” Both Scouts declared.

“General,” Erwin added, “what about the matter we asked about the other day?”

“Hm? Oh. You mean the plan for the underground operation? I passed it along to the Military Police.”

“Thank you, sir.”

“But, Erwin, no matter how good they may be with Omni-Directional Maneuvering Gear, are you sure street thugs will be of any use outside the Walls?”

“Sir, I happened to see them with my own eyes recently. I believe their skill cannot be overestimated. The man who seems to be their leader, in particular, is on a level beyond even that of even a Survey Corps veteran.”

“Is that so? Remarkable.”

“I intend to make use of anyone who has even the smallest potential during this expedition. But first while I’m close by, I plan to make contact.”

“This is humiliating, plain and simple!” A voice boomed as his fist slammed against a table.

Deep within the capital city of Mitras, securely within Wall Sina, an important meeting was held. Five figures sat at the wooden table inside an older, rundown building shaped like a castle. Each person wore a military uniform with the Survey Corps' badge attached to both shoulders and the front left pocket of their brown jacket. Both Erwin Smith and Keith Shadies were in attendance.

The angered Captain continued his ranting as he turned to Commander Shadis. “Are you honestly telling us to accept criminals into our fold when we’ve always held dutifulness in the highest regard!? The morale of the men will plummet if we allow those bottom feeders to join the ranks!”

“I agree with Flagon,” another admitted. “And to suggest we take these criminals with us on the next reconnaissance mission…”

“I understand your concerns. But I can personally vouch for their ODM Gear skills,” Erwin said, staying calm and collected as always.

Their Commander was the one who had the final decision on the matter. He was a man in his later years, amber eyes sunken in, with wrinkles and a receding hairline. He was positioned at the end of the table with his arms strongly crossed. “The new formation that Erwin has been working on is ground-breaking. It takes the emphasis away from how best to kill Titans, and places it firmly on how best to avoid them. I believe it’ll greatly reduce the number of casualties we sustain.”

Continuing his argument, Erwin spoke up, “This formation is likely to become accepted as the norm for our forces.”

“What those cretins lack are discipline and manners. It shouldn’t take too long to drill it into their skulls. They seem to have brains in their heads. Right, Erwin?”

“Correct.”

Coming to a conclusion, Commander Shadis stood from his chair. “Meeting adjourned.”

“Attention!”

The clattering of boots rang through the air in response. About fifty military soldiers were each lined up in an orderly fashion of rows awaiting commands. 

Commander Shadis’ deep, authoritative voice rose as he continued. “Starting today, these four will be fighting alongside all of you! Introduce yourselves!”

Isabel, Levi, Furlan, and Alana each were dressed in a military uniform as they stood in front of the soldiers on a pedestal type area. However, Levi wore a white cravat around his neck.

“Name’s Levi.” Levi had his arms crossed and spoke with complete indifference. He wanted absolutely nothing to do being here, and he wasn’t afraid to show it. This act caught the eyes of almost every soldier and they stared in disbelief at his disrespect.

“Levi, the first thing you need to learn is some goddamn discipline.” Shadis responded in annoyance. “Next!”

Isabel proudly stepped up, head held high. With a solid voice and her thumb pointing towards her, she spoke, “I’m Isabel Magnolia! Nice to meet ya!”

“My name is Furlan Church.” Furlan introduced himself with a saluted fist on his chest, palm facing down. His eager smile lined his face, and then he turned to Alana who was beside him. 

Unlike her friends, Alana lowered her chin as she cowered away and her left hand gripped onto the charm on her necklace. Strangely enough, the girl was afraid of the crowd. With a soft, welcoming nudge from the blond, she mumbled. “Alana… Frey.”

“Speak up, soldier!”

She raised her voice and repeated herself. “I’m Alana Frey!”

“Flagon, these three will be assigned to your squad. Look after them.”

“M-My squad, sir?” Flagon, the dirty blond haired captain, looked up to his superior in shock. Just earlier that day, he had been arguing the idea of having them here in the first place.

“Any objections?

“N-No… But shouldn’t Erwin…”

Shadis cut him off immediately. “Erwin is tasked with overseeing all the soldiers. The new recruits will be your responsibility. Is that understood?”

Flagon quickly saluted his commander; right fist on his chest, palm upwards, and the other behind his back. It was the sign of ‘devoting your hearts’. “Yes, sir! Understood!” Even with his words, it was clear that he was uneasy about all of this. 

Especially under Levi’s glare.

And, according to them, to be covered, my policy had to be: use for social and COMMUNITY. So Community for them means, going to work, it is ridiculas but that's what i was told However they said we cover you, you will have to pay 23.74 extra and you will be covered, it was frustrating, a theft, but I let it go... This inspector wrote a statement of 6 PAGES! about my accident, however, I need to say, he did a very good job On the statement states that none was injured and the fault lies with the moped rider, which is also what the police said on the scene. In addtion this inspector suggested to call my insurer again to finally get my car fixed. Admiral told me I will have to pay for the damage myself and, after all their investigation, if they find out it was not my fault, I can ask e refund for the damage, and they added that this investigation can take up to 3 years, so I will have my money back in 3 years! this is because according to them, the moper rider was injured This is absolutely incredible What would you suggest? So about 2 years ago I got hit with a false DWI in NYC (passed breathalyzer test cops still lied and claimed DWI). But that's another story. Currently I purchased a used Landrover Disco 2. Geico gave me a sweet deal @ $1430/6 months until they ran the DMV report and saw my DWI from 2 years ago. Now my 6 month rate is $3700/6 months. That price is completely rediculous and unaffordable (according to my pockets). Therefore, my question, should I just do long term car rental? I mean I have a super sweet discount that rivals employees discounts @ National and Enterprise Rentals. I'm thinking I could just rent on a month to month basis for less than $3700/every 6 months. The added benefits would be new year car models and the option to trade it in for any vehicle I choose for an entire month. Plus the gas would be less than the Landrovers V8 premium requirement.
