AFTERCADE MASTERDOC (additional info under the cut)

Basic lore: The small crew of a local arcade all die in an unknown accident. Despite this tragic synopsis, the story is more on the humorous side of things, as all the characters are sent to a joint purgatory where they get to: Keep Working Customer Service!

Story format: video game

Started writing: Early 2024

Finished writing: N/A

Currently available to watch/play/read?: no

More lore/character info: The first maybe twenty minutes of the game, everything is normal. You switch your POV from character to character, getting to know each of the employees.

Then, a blackout. you now follow the last person you were controlling before this sudden pause, and everything seems different. The music stops, the arcade is all turned off, with some eerie sound effects from malfunctioning attractions and games. And the stench of metal fills the place. You’re drawn to the spot where you were working prior, be it the prize counter, child care department, or the food service. It ends up the same way; you encounter your dead body.

And after that, things turn again! Daylight fills the place up, to show the absolute wreckage. And the crew gets to meet Death. Who’s a little more laid back than you’d expect… Like, yeah, you all died. Anyway, need y’all to work in my purgatory attraction.

When night falls, the broken down place seems to expand and light up; loud music and even bigger games and attractions than before. There’s even a giant rollercoaster that circles the entire area! It’s insane. They all get work im the same place as they did when alive, with some skeleton critters helping out with cleaning. The manager gets beat up all the time for his sins. Fun times!

Very short character sheets:

Chris: Manager/local asshole. Don’t worry, he gets what he deserves! One can only fantasize about a power hungry maniac getting his behavior turned on him tenfold (Oh wait, it’s actually happening).

Lynn Lorenzo: Probably not her real name. Dead inside (and now outside too!). Very dead. A generous soul deep down. Oddly unconcerned about her own death, although it’s wildly different when it comes to her coworkers. They had shit to live for. Not her…

Claire Juniper: Rich girl who doesn’t know she’s rich or what that implies. Although her parents always provided for her, she got this job because she wants to sustain her own life, like any responsible adult! Does not understand why her coworkers don’t engage a lot. Has some mentalities that she needs to work through.

Steph Cartier: Oldest employee (still just 30 lol), who’s a little severely depressed. His ex wife divorced right when their daughter was born, and she did not allow him to be a part of their life. He ended up too unstable and helpless to show up to work and lost his job. After a couple years, he got himself together enough to work at the arcade, get himself back together.

Oliver Stu: …He’s fifteen. [Checks notes.] Wait, what’s this kid doing here? Oliver looks a bit older due to being on HRT (without his parents knowing. Somehow…), but he still looks barely 18. So the coworkers are a bit concerned. Every time they tried to smoothly bring up the subject, the guy SWEARS he’s 21! He said 22 last time. Nah, maybe he said 19? Oh well…

Alex/Xander Rong: You know that person from your work or school that seems to be ALWAYS, literally ALWAYS high? That’s Xander. They’ll show up next to you out of nowhere and start the most thought provoking, philosophical conversation ever before blinking and saying, “Man… what the hell did i just say?” He’s also clairvoyant but i’m sure that’s not important. He rarely even brings it up!

ANDDDDD, that’s the first of my masterdocs done! Aftercade is one of my favorite stories, and one of my most recent ones too. It holds a special place in my heart… Despite the fact that i know it’ll take ages before this is ever becoming a full game! i’m very ambitious, i wouldn’t want it released before listing off every checkmark. anyway, ramble over. time to tag all this!

I plot on Tumblr and write on Discord but I'm willing to do everything on Discord, if you prefer it that way. I write in third person, past tense and semi-lit/lit (2-4 paragraphs average; sometimes more and hardly ever less). I try my hardest to get daily replies up but sometimes work, life, or writer's block gets in my way, and it more realistically takes me 2-3 days.

I'm mainly interested in canon x canon pairings (MxM preference but willing to do MxF or FxF). I might be talked into canon x OC (only MxM or FxF). I like canon and canon divergent plots. If it makes sense within the universe, I'll usually be okay with doing it. I don't have any triggers and do have a preference for writing smut for these (with a healthy dose of plot) but that's not a requirement.

I had to google what self-indulgent was and from what I understood, is no restrictions regarding something? Well, if it is so, this one is hard since i'm like that with most of my ocs...

But I guess the ones I seem to let myself go more are the dinosaurs! Especially Stiggy, my spikey boy

I feel more free to do with them what I pelase (to start with the fact that there's no explanation for dinosaurs existing in my world, I just felt like it and put them in a loop in Switzerland xD)

Stiggy is the super OP gary-stu plot-irrelevant-but-still-known fella. He'sba Stygimoloch with severe anger issues created by pure wrath. Also a cannibal even if his species is harbivorous. I love him

Every oc of mine somehow has a piece of me in them, so in a way everyone is similar to me.

Appearance-wise? None. They're all animals xD but personality? Hm. It really depends.

Most of the time i relate to eurher Hydra or Pangea in the way I care for others. Other times, I'm Archie because of how I act and talk about my hobbies so passionately (he also loves animals sooooo 👍). There's days I'm just a grumpy bitch like Enoch and other times I feel like a child, like Olive. When I'm drawing, I relate to Dean but while listening to music I feel like Natasha or Theo. Every time I think about it, its different xD

Summary: Sean used to be a soldier, a combat veteran who served in Afghanistan and Iraq before getting a serious leg injury during the war. Because of this injury, Sean was honorably discharged and had to go through multiple surgeries and physical therapy.

During his time at physical therapy and recovering from the surgeries, Sean was staying at the hospital. Sean usually kept to himself since he didn't have a great relationship with his family and the friends he had, died in the war.

One day, Sean met a young boy, Carl Grimes, who was visiting his father who had gotten shot while on the job as a police officer. The boy was obviously upset since his dad was in a coma and was unsure if he would ever talk to his dad again.

So, Sean spent time with the kid. trying to distract him from the adult problems he was going through, by playing cards or just drawing things. The boy's mother, Lori, seemed to appreciate Sean's help and always thanked him for being understanding and helping her son.

But then things decided to take a turn for the worse when the news started to talk about a virus outbreak that seemed to make people attack.

It was only chaos from there, the boy and his mother stopped visiting for a few days. Sean could only assume it was from the news and reports of all the attacks. Then the military came in and started killing everyone.

Sean managed to escape on his own during the chaos and in a twist of events found Carl who begged his mother and Uncle Shane to let him come with them. With Sean's military skills, he proved useful and helped protect the group from the dangers of the Walkers.

When they found a safe place to settle down with a bigger group Sean for the most part still kept to himself, except for when Carl came to spend time with him, sometimes bringing a little girl that was also in their group, Sophia, from time to time.

About a month later, the group who had gone out a few days ago to scavenge a few supplies came back with another person.

The only comfort Damien ever had was with his best friend Guillermo de la Cruz. The two became best friends in Elementary school after a school Bully shoves them in a janitor's closet together, locking them both inside until someone eventually lets them out hours after school ends.

Guillermo's mother welcomed him with open arms and he was free to spend his time whenever he wanted with Guillermo. One day the two decided to go to the movies together and saw Interview with the Vampire, which inspired Guillermo's lifelong obsession with vampires and Damien's obsession with the Occult.

As Damien got older he realized the feelings he had for Guillermo were more than a friend and even when Guillermo came out and confessed to him he was gay. Damien of course accepted him and kept his secret but he didn't confess his feelings towards him out of fear of being left behind and all alone.

One day after his shift at Panera Bread Guillermo came home excitedly and told Damien he had met real-life vampires and he was going to be a familiar to one of them.

He knew how much his friend wanted to become a vampire so after being told this, Damien decided to join him and became a familiar himself.

(also, thank you sm for loving on my OCs. i shall return the love to yours, as they deserve all the love)

-so, for starters, i am not letting wes or his sweet mother die. ain't gonna happen. they were too precious for this world, and must be treated as such.

-instead of just not mentioning anything about her child at all in the fourth movie, judy will in fact mention her child. when at the police station, gale asks judy how her son is doing. judy tells her that wes is doing well and that he's staying with the oliver's (this was aidyn's last name before her parents got divorced, then she changed it to macher) until she can be home more often.

-once the murders start back up in the fifth movie, aidyn's nightmares about stu get worse and worse. because of the paranoia that she may be the killer, just "too insane" to realize it, she often dreams that she is ghostface behind the mask, and is chasing down her friends one by one.

-instead of wes and judy getting attacked, it is going to be aidyn, and luckily, i have planned out how that scene will work.

While Judy is on her way to grab sushi for her and Wes, Ghostface calls her. They tell her that they can’t wait to cut Aidyn up just like her mother and step-father.

Judy quickly turns her car around and texts an officer to send backup to her neighborhood as fast as they can.

Ghostface hangs up and Judy attempts to call Aidyn, who is driving back home from dance practice, so she doesn’t see it.

Judy then tries to call Wes, but he’s taking a shower so he can’t answer it.

Aidyn arrives home and walks into her house, bag hanging from her shoulder. Once inside she calls out for her mom, but gets no answer. She then calls out for Gabe (her step-father), but once again, she gets no answer.

When she walks into the kitchen, she sees Leslie and Gabe dead on the ground. They had had their throats slit and their stomachs slashed open, lying in puddles of their own blood.

Aidyn immediately starts screaming and sobbing, pulling out her phone to call the police.

While dialing the number, she turns around to run, but gets stabbed in the stomach by Ghostface, making her drop her phone.

She kicks Ghostface back and they yank the knife out of her stomach as she stumbles down the hall, since Ghostface has blocked the front door.

She runs to her room and hides behind the door, clutching her bleeding stomach.

Ghostface walks into the room, and when they turn around, Aidyn runs out as fast as she can. Ghostface tries running after her, but Tucker trips them and they hit the wall. Tucker is able to run and hide under the bed before Ghostface can take their anger out on the cat.

Ghostface gets up and follows Aidyn's blood trail into the living room, stabbing her in the side as she struggles with the door.

When she tries to stand back up, she gets stabbed in the side a second time.

She falls down right in front of the TV and Ghostface pushes the TV off the stand. (It's giving Stu for a reason). Aidyn rolls out of the way before the TV can hit her and attempts to stand back up.

Ghostface kicks Aidyn in the back, knocking her down onto her stomach.

Aidyn pulls her knife out of her boot and the two try to stab each other at the same time, but catch the other’s hand before the other can harm them.

Ghostface slams their head against hers and stabs her in the sides 5 more times. (When I tell you this movie had brutal stabbings, I meant it).

The two hear the police sirens outside and Aidyn starts to scream for help. Ghostface stabs her in the stomach another time before fleeing the house through the back door.

as you can see, i just love making my OCs suffer. but it also pains me, it's weird how that works.

-you best believe wes was beyond terrified when he ran outside to see officers rushing into aidyn's house.

-i feel bad for him, even though i did that to him.

-dw he gets to take care of her in the hospital, before ghostface gets back and tries to hurt her and tara.

-the timing is a bit different than the actual movie, meaning that i am allowing some time between when aidyn's attack happens and tara and aidyn get attacked in the hospital. this gives all of the other friends time to come visit aidyn after her attack, and to give her their condolences after her mother's death.

so i wanted to take this time to do a text call. but i’m doing it v specifically so as to not add like a million threads to my drafts lol.

guidelines are as follows!

text requests are to only be from muses that would plausibly have each other’s phone numbers and have probably texted before.

must have some kind of context to it like to talk about a plot point or just not be empty chatter. (this is to help with limiting how many text threads are floating around so i can focus on my actual threads)

requests are limited to 4 per mun !

though there is no limit to how many texts i’ll do for each of my muses
