Backstory

When Anita’s mother discovered she was a Grisha, she was terrified. Not of her daughter, but for her daughter. So Therese Larsson snuck her daughter to the Ravkan border and gave her to a Grisha scout group that was there. Therese died on the journey back, though Anita never found out. Anita, only 7 years old at the time, began her training at the little palace. She was trained as a Durast, using her powers to create and invent things. She was one of the best Durasts to ever serve the Second Army. She could often be seen working along side David Kostyk, who she had developed a weird friendship with. One day, Anita bumped into a female Etherealki. The girl introduced herself as Irina Mirova, an Inferni. The two gained a fast friendship, forgoing any rifts between their two orders. They spent most of their free time with each other and feelings began to spark and develop. Though nothing had changed in their relationship and the arrival of the sun summoner allowed them no time to discover what they meant to each other…

Extra Info

- Anita doesn’t have a Fjerdan accent after living in Ravka for so long, but did learn Fjerdan

- She is often used as a scout/spy in Northern Territory for her ability to blend in with the Fjerdans

- She is very kind and accepting of Alina the minute Alina arrives at the little palace

- In Siege and Storm, Anita is one of the Grisha to return to the little palace and serve under Alina Starkov

- Hates the rift between the Grisha Order’s as it can sometimes cause problems between her and Irina

Backstory

Irina was born to two otkazat'sya people in Novokribirsk. Her powers were discovered when she was 5 and she was sent to the Little Palace to train. She learned how to hone her Inferni powers there. She became top of her class in combat and became one of the Darkling’s favored Grisha. This earned her an amplifier that was a choker made of snake scales. One day she ran into a Materialki named Anita Larsson. They hit it off quickly and spent a lot of time together. Feelings began to develop but the arrival of Alina Starkov stopped them from discovering them…

Extra Info

- Irina can be stubborn at times, thinking she is the one in the right

- While it was the Darkling who allowed her an amplifier, she found the amplifier on her own and Anita was the Durast that helped her create it

- Even though she was one of the Darkling’s favored, she defects to Alina once she learns of her family’s death in Novokribirsk. Though her loyalty to Anita was a deciding factor.

- She and Zoya are very close friends and will turn to each other in times of need

- She can come off as a hot-head a lot since she is headstrong, stubborn, and can have a quick temper
