Max: You made these?
Celia: I did.
Max: Nice. These are dark as fuck!
Celia: I was in a phase…
Max: I really like the one on top though.
Max notices the family picture behind Celia.
Max: What would your parents say if they found me here?
Celia: Hmm… Let’s just say they wouldn’t be happy about it.
Max: Are they strict with you and your brother?
Celia: I wouldn’t say they’re strict. They have demanding standards, but they’re still loving and supportive. My dad would like me to choose a more practical field to study in, but he’s the one who found the art classes at the community center.
Max: But your mom’s a musician, no? I mean, he married an artist.
Celia: My mom’s always telling me how much work it is to become recognized. I think she struggled a lot in the beginning of her career and she doesn’t want me to face the same hardship.
Max: And what is it that you wanna do?
Celia: I’m not even sure anymore, to be honest.
Catalina: Celia? Are you there?

Max: Ok then.

Shout out to this lot creator Gallery ID schnuck01 and schnuck on youtube. The highschool and auditorium are both beautiful and well thought out for gameplay. I only made a couple changes because I don't own all the packs.
Transcript below the cut.
Shanna: So? What happened with Max yesterday? You didn’t answer any of our group texts!
Joana: I already know…
Laura: Of course, you do…
Celia:  [Heavy sigh] I’m sorry. I was preoccupied… I invited him over since no one was supposed to be home.
Joana: You guys remember she got THE talk from her mom when she arrived late from her date last week?
Celia: It was not a date. Anyway. We were hanging out in my room, just talking,…
Shanna: Right…
Laura: Shanna, let her tell the story.
Celia: …when my mom comes home unexpectedly. Max fled out the window while I tried, and miserably failed, to act natural around my mom. I did such a bad job she was about to cancel her gig. I half-convinced her it was about school, but then my dad got into it also when he got home. I couldn't get to my phone until way too late.
Laura: Oh, Celia, I’m so sorry.
Shanna: We've got to work on your poker face, girl! Have you talked to him since?
Celia: No. He hasn’t texted or anything. I haven’t either. I’m too embarrassed.
Shanna: Oh, no. I’m sure he will today, though.
Joana: Yeah, there’s no doubt he likes you. This is not enough to bother him.
Celia: You think so?
Joana: I know so. AND, if THIS stops him, he’ll be sorry, believe me.
Celia: Oh! I believe you Joana. Let’s get to class.

Max: This is a nice spot.
Celia: I feel grounded here. Anywhere in nature really, but I don’t know... This feels sheltered and safe.
Max: Hm… I get it. I like open spaces. My favorite place to feel grounded is early in the morning, alone on the beach. I never got to experience that before I came here. I was not disappointed.
Celia: You like it here?
Max: I do.
Celia: Did you like it in Newcrest?
Max: No. Never did.
Celia: Really? You don’t have any happy childhood memories from that place?
Max: I do have happy memories, but not in Newcrest, no.
Celia: What was so terrible about it?
Max: I guess there’s nothing really wrong with the place. It’s the people I just can’t stand.
Celia: Did you always live there or…?
Max: Pretty much. I lived a few towns over with my grand-mother for a while.
Celia: You really don’t like to talk about your past, do you? Did you think I wouldn't notice you changing the subject every time it pops up?
Max: [Chuckles] Ok, you got me.
Celia: We don't have to talk about things you don't want to. It just feels like there's a lot that's off limits and we end up talking about me instead.
Max: It's ok. We can talk about some of it. My parents are... complicated. We don’t get along at all. From as far as I can remember, I was on and off under the care of my grandmother. Sometimes for a few weeks, others for a few months at a time. Until I was 8 and she became my caretaker. It was hard on her. She worked well over her retirement years and she didn’t have much. But living with her... it was the best time of my life. She made time for homework, school events, hockey practices. She brought me camping, showed me how to cook and build a fire.
Celia: Sounds like she’s a great woman and a great parent.
Max: She was, wasn’t she? It was such a shock when she got sick. One winter, she got what looked like pneumonia and the doctor did an X-Ray of her chest. They found a mass on her lung. They started treatment immediately but the cancer spread too quickly. She died six months later. Then, I had to go back to my parents in Newcrest.
Celia: I’m so sorry for your loss.
Max: It’s fine. It’s been years now.
Celia: How old were you when she died?
Max: I was 12.
Max: See, I don’t like to talk about my past because it gets me that look, and I hate it.
Celia: Look? What look? I don’t have a look.
Max: You do. It’s that look people get when they think I’m weak or broken or something, and that I need someone to take care of me. I’m fine! I can take care of myself. I don’t need anyone.
Celia: That’s not true. We all need someone for something at some point in time. You’re not weak or broken or whatever just because you’ve gone through hardship. It’s how you process through it that shows who you are. Maybe that look you hate actually means I care about you, and if I’m that person you need for something, I’m here for you. Just a thought.
Max: I'll consider it.

Mom: Where are you? It’s 20 minutes past curfew.
Celia: Sorry mom. We were talking. Lost track of time. We’re by the bridge. I’ll be home in 5.
Celia: It’s later than I thought. I have to get back home.
Max: Okay, I’ll walk you.
Celia: It’s close by.
Celia: We're here.
Max: Thanks for showing me around. I had a great time.
Celia: Yeah, me too. I better go.
Max: Yeah...I think you should.

Max: I’m surprised. I didn’t think you’d be into video games.
Celia: We usually meet here before we go out. Do you like video games?
Max: Yeah, I do. It’s more of a social thing, though.
Celia: Same...
Celia: Hey, where d’you go?
Max: What?
Celia: Your thoughts were kinda loud just then. Care to share them?
Max: I used to hang out at a place like this back in Newcrest. It was really similar, but also very different.
Celia: What was different?
Max: It was always very busy, but most people were not there for the video games.
Celia: Then, it’s pretty much the same. I mean, it’s not quite as busy perhaps…
Max: These people were… questionable.
Celia: There’s some of that here too. But I guess there’s more loitering teenagers than anything.
Max: And what do you like about this place?
Celia: Well, it’s definitely stuck in another era. It’s grimy and greasy and, in about 15 minutes, it’s going to be filled with bored teenagers from my highschool.
Max: And you like that?
Celia: Nope! But parents leave us alone here. It feels like our place, y’know. I love my parents, but sometimes I just want to have a conversation with my friends that they won’t overhear or be told about by a nosy neighbor. It’s a small town. Word gets around, even if it’s about stupid teenage things.
Max: I bet.

Celia: Ready to lose?
Max: Oh, there’s no way I’m letting you beat me at this!
Max: Good game.
Celia: Thanks. I had the advantage of having played this game before.
Max: How about a round of Foosball?
Celia: Oh yeah, you’re gonna win there, for sure!
Max: If you don’t…
Celia: Tst! Get on the other side!
Max: Ok, mam’
Celia: Good game.
Max: Thanks.
Celia: How about we grab a drink downstairs and go for a walk. I’d like to show you one of my favorite drawing spots.
Max: I’d like that.

Celia: Oh shit! My mom’s here. She can’t find you here. I’m already in trouble because I missed curfew the other day.
Catalina:  Celia?
Max: I could hide.
Celia: Where?
Max: Right... It’s ok, don’t worry. I’ll get out the window. She won’t see me.
Celia: Coming mom!
Celia: [whispering] Be careful.
Catalina: Ok. Join me in my bedroom.
Celia: Hi, mom! Weren’t you working at the Yacht Club tonight?
Catalina: Hi love! Yeah. Someone spilled coffee on me and I need to change before I go. There’s lasagna in the freezer. It takes an hour to cook in the oven. You should put it in now.
Celia: Oh, okay! I’ll do it right away.
Catalina: Is everything alright with you?
Celia: Oh yeah! I’m fine!

Lucas: Hey man.
Max: Hey.
Lucas: What’s going on?
Max: Nothing. I’m just unsure if I should text Celia or not.
Lucas: Why?
Max: Because we were out late the other night and I think she got in trouble.
Lucas: And…?
Max: Maybe her parents took her phone or something.
Lucas: Nah, I saw her using it today at school.
Max: Why hasn’t she texted me, then?
Lucas: I don’t know. Why don’t you ask her?
Max: ...
Lucas: ...
Max: And what should I text her?
Lucas: Hey.
Max: Hey?
__________________________
Celia: He texted “Hey”.
Joana: Hey?
Celia: What does it mean? He never texts just “Hey”.
Shanna: Send him the same.
__________________________
Lucas: What did she say?
Max: “Hey”. Just “Hey”.
__________________________
Celia: “What’s up”? Am I reading too much into this or does it feel cold?
Laura: Sounds like normal guy text to me…
__________________________
Max: [Sigh of frustration]
__________________________
Celia: [Whispers] Wait! I’m at the library. I’m going out. Hold on! Ok, I’m good.
Max: Hi.
Celia: Hi.
Max: Did you get in trouble or something yesterday?
Celia: Huh, no! No, no one saw you, so everything’s fine. Did you get down ok?
Max: Yeah, I got out easily. I was worried when you didn’t text me yesterday.
Celia: Oh, I couldn’t. My dad was on my case about something. And… I felt embarrassed about the whole thing.
Max: Why?
Celia: I don’t know… because my parents are uncool…?
Max: At least they care… I’m at work and my break is over, but can we talk again after my shift?
Celia: Yeah, sounds good.
Max: Ok, bye.
Celia: Bye.
