Day 1 of my Oc_toberverse Challenge: New OC Vs Old OC

Getting this visual of Mr. S and Ghost fighting in my head is what actually got me inspired to make my list. Funny thing is after this they’d probably get on well. Both have similar personalities and mannerisms and the same sense of humour. They’d get up to so many tricks and schemes!

This is day 15 of @stormyth-art 's Oc-Tober! Todays prompt is: Sad Memory

I have way to many thoughts about this prompt.

So, This is Red from my Among Us Oc comic. They grew up in a rich family as the middle child of five siblings, so being overlooked was a common part of her life.

When a child wants attention, they act out. This is what Red did out of the house in an attempt to separate their selves from the legacy of their family, only for it to backfire and become the black sheep in a family of very successful business people.

Birthdays were hard. When you don't have any friends and your family thinks that you are the problem child, not much of a celebration is held on your day of birth.

On Red's tenth birthday, their was no celebration.

November 20. Just a normal day for everyone but them.

This is something the imposter can and will use to gain the favor of its new queen.

DAY 1: FIRST OC

I'm a bit late getting started, but hello everyone :3

Phew finally got caught up with Oc_tober verse today! I let myself be loose and do some pencil sketches. I had so much fun with these, you guys can tell that Thorpe ocs are on the brain! A few repeat characters for these entries but I wanted to draw these little goobers while they are all so fresh in my mind. One thing that does annoy me about working with pencil is the smudging, it’s why most traditional stuff I do is pen! Or coloured pencil. But I wanted to try something different! Writing up the dialogue was so fun for these as well. Rita and Enzo’s has got to be my favourite. I hope the Italian I wrote is decent, I did a bit of digging on forums for translations over google translate since I know it’s not always accurate. Both of them definitely speak Italian more around each other and use more English around their friends.

Now that I’m caught up I hope I can do a bit more details in future entries again! :D Or at the least do a backlog maybe. We will see! Hope you guys are enjoying it all.

Oc-Tober Day 1: Favorite OC

day one lets go! The prompt today was "favorite Oc" and while I love all my original characters equally...K is definitely the favorite child. I only had enough time to do a simple sketch today but I have ALOT to say about this little guy.

"K" was my FIRST character I came up with back when I first started on my comic Paracosmic, It was originally going to be a homestuck fan-comic actually! but as I kept writing It slowly became something all in itself. Heres a rough (very rough) design timeline I put together a few months ago:

K is the main character of Paracosmic and the story revolves around his adventure through the universe (along with a couple of other weirdos), and the many experiences he faces that challenge him to grow. Hes eccentric, awkward, and a bit naive and I love writing the dumb situations he gets himself in. Hes my favorite because a lot of his character development involves this theme of learning to be ok with the past and also being ok with not knowing what happens next either, things I myself often struggle with. Hes been through a lot but somehow manages to come out of it as a stronger person and that's what matters! I could yap forever about my little guy, hes just the coolest!
