Okay, so when I first saw Danny Phantom, I came up with the idea of friends for Dani Phantom.
Not only because the poor girl could really use some other friends than Valerie and Danny, but it struck me as an eventual thing to happen to her.
As she travels the world and forges more about her identity, she's bound to open up more and meet new people.
In addition, I was surprised this isn't more of a trope in the Phandom. Like, is this really that hard? Dani's treatment by the Phandom is very... hit or miss in my opinion.
Mostly because fans are more interested in having her stay an extension of Danny. Seriously, what's the appeal of her being Danny's daughter? He's a fourteen year old, with hormone induced morals: end of story.
Rant out of the way, I present to you...
Kalvin Williams and Caitlin Suzuki.
How did she meet them? Let's get into that.
Shortly after the events of "D-Stabilized", Dani is off exploring the earth like in canon.
She's already seen and visited a handful of places such as New York and Arizona. Keeping to Western countries for now, as that's both in her comfort zone and if she needs to call Danny for help or not. Not too proud on the latter, as while she does appreciate Danny, he's a reminder of what she's not. Keeps that last point to herself by the way.
And she tries to avoid danger, unless necessary or if she's bored and wants a challenge. Not only for her own safety, but because she knows of how the world feels about ghosts and ghost hunters.
What surprises her, is when she comes across a small town that is preparing a celebration of the dead, as opposed to the opposite.
Young Dani Phantom is a small town in Mexico, preparing for the Día De Los Muertos holiday in a few weeks.
Fascinated by humans that honor dead people, than hunt them, she decides to stay.
She even possesses a hotel manager to get a free room, out of childlike wonder for this event. Some of you may find that too harsh, but she is Vlad's adopted daughter, whether she admits to that or not. She would inherit some traits of his.
This is where Kalvin Elijah Pablo Adan Martín-Williams comes in. Don't worry, he only goes by Kalvin.
While enjoying the festivities, Dani notices him performing a couple of magic tricks for younger kids. The Afro-Latino teen seems completely human, except for the fact Dani's ghost sense gave off the closer she was to him.
Wanting to observe him further and hopefully not escalate things, she introduces herself and tries to get to know him.
Kalvin is, rather fun to say the least, in Dani's eyes. He's very hyperactive and smart intellectually, but surprisingly would rather stick out than just be like everyone else. With a penchant (and perhaps love) for the supernatural and magic, that Dani assumes is ghost powers and he's just pretending to be human.
Nope. He just enjoys what he does and mostly for personal gain, or to prove he's better than others.
Dani doesn't realize this herself and assumes that his friendly and outgoing persona, was because he knew she was a ghost as well. The moment she transforms, well as you'd expect the opposite happens.
He doesn't stop fanboying and keeps calling her "La Llonora's lost child", much to Dani's confusion. Before she can explain herself and ask why he's not transforming, a ghost shows up.
This ghost, dressed in a luchador mask and changes into a wispy body, starting to wreck havoc and steal gold. The ghost is called El Infierno, as stated by Kalvin. Dani intervenes, but struggles to find a way to stop the ghost as she lacks a thermos of her own. Only to listen to Kalvin's advice and goad El Infierno into a wrestle match. If they win, he leaves. If they lose, he stays.
They're victorious the moment Dani possesses Kalvin and he's a man of his word, that leaves to the Ghost Zone. Thus a close friendship is born, as the two of them enjoy the festivities and use their combined skills to entertain people more and make money, that Dani plans to use to travel more.
Kalvin is only visiting Mexico with his parents for Day of the Dead and promises that if she's in the neighborhood, the two of them can hang out more. He develops a crush on her, with Dani being oblivious to it out of her own insecurities.
Kalvin's crush on her mostly comes from how cool she seems to him and how she's not afraid to voice how she feels. And looks very pretty.
How does Kalvin have magic powers? That remains unknown except for an offhanded comment about a dead twin... ;)
Moving on, Dani finds herself at an airport in Ireland, that's going to leave in the next 6 hours.
While looking around for something to pass the time, Dani notices a small ghost cat wave at her before phasing through a wall. Assuming the ghost cat is up to no good, she follows after it, ending up in the middle of an airport mall.
While there she notices a tall redhead girl shopping for dresses that proceeds to pet the ghost cat and lightly scold her for rushing off. This confuses Dani and while she's staring, she fails to notice said girl noticed her. This is Caitlin O'Conner Suzuki and her pet ghost cat Neko.
Caitlin is at the airport with her family, about to visit relatives in Tokyo. She left on her own to go for a bit of shopping and insists that she takes Dani to "expand" her wardrobe. Dani is in very little position to object and plays along. The two of them get along and the Japanese-Irish teen acts like the cool older sister Dani never had, but always wanted. Introducing her to latest fashion trends, getting her a phone and taking time to get to know her. Even if there's many holes in Dani's stories.
Too bad she may or may not collect ghosts for her own gain.
Eventually, the airport is running amuck with ghosts and Dani insists Caitlin gets to cover.
As she fights them off, Caitlin shows up with a ghost hunting gadget of her own: The Ecto Shine.
A katana with more of a focus on weakening ghosts, until they are safe to capture or beat until they can't fight back.
The two of them save the airport and the ever girly Caitlin insists on Dani coming with her. She agrees and tags along of course.
So yeah, these are my Danny Phantom OCs. I wanted them to be to Dani, what Sam and Tucker are to Danny. And be reverse versions of them to an extent.
Kalvin is more of a chemist that loves magic tricks with a bit of a superiority complex, in contrast to how Tucker has a bit of an inferiority complex with a love for technology.
Sam is "not like other girls" and looks down on other girls for being girly, while Caitlin is generally accepting of others with an unashamedly girly side to her. Though she can be a tad immature, she's not dumb by any means.
I'll most likely write little snippets of the three of them hanging out and I'd love to hear what you guys think of them.

(Didn't feel like just tagging: so here's a micro fanfiction)
Dumbest thing Caitlin has done.
"Caitlin... you're one of my best friends, but I have to draw the line at some point." Dani's voice was a firm whisper, laced full of annoyance. "This is the dumbest thing we've ever done and why do I have the feeling - not my ghost sense - that it definitely won't be the last?"
Caitlin didn't need to turn her head to know all that came with Dani's signature eye roll, she instead flashed a smile in response. "Come on, Dani! Think about it." The ravenhead's contagious smile glittered under the starry night sky, as the two of them stood outside Amity Park High School. No one was out this late. Caitlin held a box full of assorted devices in her arms. Her ghost cat Neko, sleeping over her left shoulder, purring tiredly. "This could be the next level of ghost hunting! And we're the first ones to capitalize on it." Her lips curled turned into something more smug and assured, jabbing her thumb to her chest, as she clumsily dropped her box supplies below her feet, startling the green ghost cat out her stupor and relaxation. She hastily said sorry a few times to her pet, before emptying out the box and getting straight to work.
No one was out this late and it was the perfect time for some ghost hunting. Or as Caitlin put it: 'ghost matchmaking.' Ever since she was little, the idea of soulmates had always fascinated her and left her wanting to know more. Maybe even hold that same love close to her heart one day: with no intention of ever letting go. Two people destined to meet each other, fall in love and be together, going against all time, space and matter of logic! A love that knew no bounds!
It made her chest all warm and fuzzy; of course she decided to test it on some ghosts!
What better test subjects than the undead. In her eyes, if ghosts could fall love, maybe they could be soulmates. Or ghostmates. Or deadmates. Or should they be titled undeadmates? The point is, they already have the soul part down; all that's missing is the mate part. She had yet to come up with proper a name, being too caught up in her latest exploit with a certain Dani Fenton, but a copyright claim for any of those names seemed likely. Can't fight crime if you're not fashionable and professional, as she always repeated to herself.
Dani Fenton, while always happy to help her best friend, had doubt this was the smartest plan to subdue a ghost. Or even mildly upset one or two, like a kid holding a magnifying glass over a beetle. Yes, her respective 'parents' (she used that term very loosely as her adoption was still recent) Jack and Maddie Fenton had unorthodox ways of ghost hunting, that still left them with a reputation of being nut jobs in Amity Park, even with the number of ghost sightings they put a stop too.
But even they wouldn't as much as consider something as crazy as this:
Set up two ghosts on a date, with the expectation of said ghosts being too caught up in this romance, to haunt and hurt anyone. Sounds pretty simple right? Wrong. Ghosts were anything but patient with these sorts of things. And a success was very hypothetical in Danielle's eyes.
A familiar feeling pooled in Dani's spine, shaking her down from head to toe and it wasn't her latent Ghost Sense.
Empathy. Caitlin Suzuki, for all her strengths, was still a very naive person. Dani found herself both enchanted and saddened by this childlike wonder of hers. She never had a real childhood, being a clone and all, so being around someone that clearly never lost hers was a bliss to behold. At the same time, Dani couldn't help but worry for her, feeling as though Caitlin was unprepared for the world before them. Maybe even a bit envious at how confident and unassuming she faced everything. And a tad hungry all the food prepared in the cafeteria was wasted on the ghosts and not them.
Was that envy? Or was it concern and care?
Huh. This is new. Care. But for someone else's life than my own. Dani thought to herself. It reminded Dani of how much Danny looked out for her. And left her feeling comforted and sure of herself. Dani still thinks this plan is dumb, but something about this friendship made her want to share in this self assured stupidity.
Turning head across the dimly lit field, she cast a smile to her best friend. Caitlin was in the middle of setting up remote cameras to watch this experiment from a safe distance, seemingly too caught up with the night to notice Dani staring at her. Maybe this would play out a lot better than to be expected. If trust and self confidence was anything to go off of.
As Caitlin put it, the plan was foolproof and hardly left any room for error! All they needed to do was have Dani fend off some ghosts and lure two to the cafeteria.
Which had already been redecorated into a lovely candlelight dinner, prior to waiting from behind the windows. Complete with a nice dinner, red ribbons hanging around and candles on every other table but the one in the middle.
Too bad the stench of cafeteria food lingered with the scented candles. It was very up to interpretation if the ghosts would enjoy the odd smell or attack out a curious disgust.
Or maybe both.
Interpretations aside, Caitlin finished setting the cameras, before she made a beeline for the window, sat down and pulled out a laptop on the grassy outdoors. She took a deep breath, almost in tandem with the beeping noise of her device and turned her head back to Dani.
"Okay, two ghosts should around the gym," She typed lightly on her laptop, as the shiny screen bounced off her hazel eyes. "Now get in there Elle! That stew isn't gonna eat itself!"
"Going Ghost!" On cue with the her brother's iconic catchphrase, a circular energy glowed in the night, covering her body from top to bottom, as she became the crime fighting hero Dani Phantom. Her snow white hair shook in the wind, as she flew off the grass, ready to do what she does bes-
"You need a new catchphrase cotton tail,"
Dani sighed good naturedly, knowing Caitlin was never gonna let this topic go.
"All I'm saying Elle is you can do better! How about..." She tapped her chin with her index finger for a bit, Neko mimicked her master, before snapping her fingers, as inspiration struck! "By the power of the Ghost Zone!"
"How about Spectre Special?" The halfa entertains this brainstorm, with a giddy smile on her face.
"Undead Unleashed!" And they say inspiration never strikes the same place twice!
"Wraith Released!"
"Phantom of the Night!" Thrice!
"Phantom Presence?" Dani shrugged with a small smile, awaiting a response.
"...Shoot, that's good," Caitlin nodded in approval recognizing how inspiration chose to struck Dani instead this time, absent-mindedly stroking her ghost cat and ignoring her laptop.
Her pink device then buzzed rapidly breaking the teen out of her trance.
"Oh! Oh! Oh!" Caitlin jumped up from her spot, nearly dropping her laptop and shoving the flashing screen in Dani's face. Two green dots beeped, from what appeared to be the Amity High gym. "We got eyes on the prize Elle, get in there! That food isn't gonna eat itself."
Dani nodded and turned intangible, flying through the window at inhuman speeds. She left behind a minuture sonic boom, as Caitlin flew back from the blast; Neko rushed off after her, cushioning her fall. Said ghost cat gave soft meow in response to her owner.
"Thanks girl, now let's see what we have here," Her gaze turned back to the laptop, giving it her full attention. "Hmm, I need more stickers for this." Or so she thought.
"Meow!"
"Kidding! I'm kidding!" She winced at the noise of broken glass and punches being thrown, knowing Dani met some opposition with the ghosts. On her screen, she saw Dani hold off two identical, blob shaped ghosts, with a series of ghost rays and swift kicks. Her fears and worries started to placate, as she had faith in her friend succeeding and a familiar voice rang in her ears.
"Is that all you got? Because I'm here to serve more than just dinner!"
Like clockwork, Dani gave a pun before coming out victorious. She had arrived in the cafeteria, flying with the cool grace of an eagle, leading the two ghosts to the centerpiece of Caitlin's Master plan. Dani turned invisible and joined her friend outdoors.
"Okay, that wasn't too bad," Dani dusted off her clothes and stretched her arms a bit, before turning back into Dani Fenton. "It's a good thing those ghosts were weaker than what I'm used to."
"What we're used to Danielle!" She slung her arm over Dani, bringing her face close to the laptop, smiling proudly at what was being shown.
Dani sat down next to her and Neko, making herself comfortable as the show had just begun.
'Blobberta' and 'Blobby' (names picked personally by Cait herself) were swishing and flying around the cafeteria, clearly confused and perplexed by this new environment. Leaving drops of ectoplasm as they floated, as they continued to observe and take in the underfunded area. The green hur of their ghostly bodies illuminated the entire room, mixing with the candlelight in a soft limey pink glow. It was rather calm compared to the usual ghost violence of Amity Park. The two ghosts simply stared at the meal prepared, taking in the scents of the stew and meatloaf, before their gleaming green eyes locked with each other.
To Caitlin, it seemed like an eternity as 'Blobby' and 'Blobberta' only stared at one another, with no intention of taking their eyes off each other. The two ghosts unconsciously floated closer, until merely an inch as single candle flame separated their disfigured infatuated faces.
Caitlin asked anxiously. "Did they kiss yet?"
"No." Dani responded curtly, with a small smile at her friend's giddiness.
"Did they kiss yet?"
"No."
"Did they kiss yet?"
"No."
"Did they kiss yet?"
"No."
"Did they kiss yet?"
"Caitlin," Dani looked her straight in the eyes, never losing her smile. "When they do, we'll see it, okay?"
"Okay, okay." Caitlin took a deep breath, in and out, a few times before choosing to keep quiet. The green light of the cafeteria shined brighter, as the hue of two ghosts only grew and grew with every passing breath Caitlin took. It appeared Blobberta was preparing to eat, as he slowly opened his brittle jaw...
CHOMP!
...And ate Blobby.
Dani, Neko and Caitlin stared dumbfounded, jaws hanging wide open, unsure of what to make from this new development in the experiment and how to react. One ghost just ate and swallowed the other, baking the entire cafeteria in a quiet pitch darkness, as the force of the bite put out the candles.
"...That's one way to lose your head," Dani quipped.
"Dani!" Caitlin turned her face to her friend, in disbelief at how she chose to break the silence.
"Sorry, sorry." Dani waved her hands in a nervous defense, shooting Caitlin an equally nervous smile.
Caitlin sighed. before giving a smile and a good natured smile. She couldn't stay mad at Dani. As the two of them laughed under the glittering stars, Caitlin stopped laughing, sighed and looked across the the buildings before Amity Park High, all twinkling with the street lights with a dry look in her eyes. "You must think I'm very dumb?"
Dani responded with a sympathetic smile. "You? Of course not! You're one of the smartest people I've ever met!" She placed her right hand on Caitlin's shoulder, squeezing it gently. "Look at everything you've taught me: fashion, baking, being more confident, doing hair and other things that no doubt have a Caitlin touch to it. And lots of pink."
Caitlin's unhappiness and dull persona faded at how appreciative Dani was of her.
"This was still rather dumb Caitlin," Dani finished, breaking the teen out of her trance.
Caitlin rolled her eyes playfully, before pulling Dani into a hug and ruffled her hair, earning a laugh from the latter. "Ha! No kidding. Wanna try something like this again?"
"Sure!"
It then dawned on Dani like the sun.
"Wait a minute... what do mean like this again?"
Caitlin got up and unsheathed her ghosthunting katana the Ecto Shine, taking a few practice swings, pretending a target was there, before putting it back. "It's just like you said cotton tail; 'why do I have the feeling - not my ghost sense - that it definitely won't be the last?' And it won't!" She grinned at Dani. "I already have more! Wanna hear the first one?"
Dani crossed her arms and gave a teasing smirk. "Does it involve fire?"
Caitlin puffed her cheeks immaturely in response with an embarrassed blush, while crossing her arms. "Do you want to hear the the fifth idea, Danielle?" All her words all shook nonplussed, except for Danielle: she uttered that name flat.
"Skipped a whole three ideas; two more than last time," Dani praised jokingly. "But really Caitlin, I'd love to hear it."
Caitlin rolled her eyes, before her excitement returned and said. "Okay, okay, what if got a bunch of ghosts together," Caitlin waved her hands for emphasis on. "And made them dance?"
"How is that ghosthunting?" Dani asked. "Sounds like you just want an excuse for ghosts to do cute things."
"Exactly girl! We get a bunch of ghosts together and they dance until they're tired," Caitlin responded with vigor, feeling the upmost certainty in herself. "Then we use that to our advantage and catch them!"
"You have the weirdest and dumbest ideas," Dani snorted with amusement. "But there isn't anyone I'd rather do something dumb with you."
Caitlin placed a hand on Dani's shoulder, smiling down at her shorter friend. "You know it girlfriend!"
"GRRRRRR..."
Dani, Caitlin and Neko all snapped their heads back to the cafeteria, at the sound of a rather distorted, yet low voice. The source of the voice phased through the windows of Casper High, hovering high above the three of them. It's shadow cloaking them in a pitch black darkness, that blocked out the moonlight. The two ghosts had merged into a singular ghost, it's distorted body inching towards the girls beneath them.
"Please tell me you brought the thermos?" Caitlin asked quietly, not taking her eyes off the ghost approaching it's prey.
"Danny says to never leave home without it," She responded with a confident smirk, pulling it out of her pocket. "Ready for some ghost hunting? I think this romcom needs a little action."
In an instant, Dani went ghost and flew into the battle.
"As long as we're the ones producing," Caitlin responded. She pulled out one of her blades, before getting into a pose. Neko grew in size slightly, before her master hopped on and was carried off to fight the ghost.
While tonight may have yielded some... mixed results. It was bound to be a night to remember and look back on with smiles and laughter.
What’s the dumbest thing your OC has ever done, in their opinion?

Your danny phantom ocs during The Ultimate Enemy?
You just had to pick an episode where they not only never met Dani but Dani doesn't exist? Anyways, this tests my writing ability.
Since it asks a question that I didn't ask myself before (so props to you @gritsandbrits):
What would Kalvin and Caitlin be like, without Dani's hand in friendship? They influenced her a lot, but Dani doesn't realize how much she influenced them.
Soo, let's start with Kalvin. The reason why Kalvin doesn't really intervene in episodes (though he does his own thing here and then) before D-Stabilized is either because he's out with his folks or doesn't see the hero business as worth his time. He wants fame and fortune for his talents, a lack of a physical reward is not on his mind half the time.
Meeting Dani and seeing the almost too inherent (wink wink nudge nudge) heroism, inspired him to not be as bothered without a physical reward for doing good.
His heart is in... a place. He's a lot better of a person than he let's on, others just don't know that immediately.
Without Dani's chipper and adventurous attitude? In the past, he's just your average 12 year old, with magic powers and a penchant for ghost hunting of the past. He doesn't do anything but complain about what's on his burger at Nasty Burger.
In the future? He goes underground with his parents, due to the threat of Dan Phantom and forms his own secret society of magic users.
They help out in secret across the world, but it's a "survival of the fittest" sort of guild. They show compassion for those in need and left homeless, but Dan is too scary of a person to listen to your conscious in dire times.
He meets Future Valerie, after Dan is sealed in the Thermos and the two come to a "deal" of sorts: they help be rebuild Amity Park, she agrees to pay them 2% of what they make in the healed Earth.
Now Caitlin.
Our favorite fashion snob and part-time ghost hunter in training was just having the time of her life singing karaoke with her friends and then BOOM!
An entire restaurant blew up!
Oh yeah. Danny Phantom is now evil. Bummer. Only took like two weeks after his family and friends died.
So Caitlin, without Dani in her life, is a lot more colder towards ghosts. It's not disgust, but a very deep resentment as she believes the unknown is nothing more than one mess after the other. There have been exceptions, like her pet ghost cat Neko and Dani, but she meets neither in this timeline. Without them, her fear of the unknown becomes hatred.
And Dan fuels that hatred.
She's a private investigator, tracking down ghosts hoping to find a weakness of Dan. To no avail.
She does sew clothes for kids in need and works under Future Valerie. After Dan is sealed in the Thermos, she continues to help Future Valerie rebuild the world and help enforce stricter ghost hunting technology around New Amity Park.
Thanks for the ask @gritsandbrits! :)

💍+ Danny Phantom OCs?
💍 + Kalvin Williams
As I already established in a previous post, Kalvin has a huge crush on Dani Fenton and it only grew over the years. And you can't really blame him.
She's so cool, daring, not afraid to say what's on her mind and has such a cheerful attitude in her everyday life.
Plus she can be downright scary on the field of battle. And the years have only made her stronger. Strong enough to carry him with no trouble and like he's as light as a feather. Mostly away from danger in certain situations. And he can't fly.
Not that he seems to mind. Like at all. It's kinda of hot... 😳
Anyways, Dani was always oblivious to how he saw her as more than a friend and never really took into consideration anything more.
Mostly because of her insecurity at being a clone and thinking she'll never really amount to anything more than that.
They don't start dating until their last year of High School and he finally let's out his true feelings. On accident.
After a lot second hand embarrassment, blushing in each other's presence and some "denial but their respective powers say otherwise" they do end up dating.
Kalvin proposes around their College graduation and are still together in their adult years. And many years to come.
💍 + Caitlin Suzuki
This took me awhile as I preferred not to make another OC and choose someone from canon.
As a searched and scoured the Danny Phantom wiki, I eventually picked the perfect candidate for her endgame.
Kwan.
Danny saving the world and revealing his secret identity made the popular kids at Casper High grow up and it impacted them. The fact the kid that they bullied and pushed around, risked his life to save theirs on multiple occasions made them open their eyes to how wrong their bullying was.
Thankfully, Cait met a changed Kwan by the time she was in High School and he fell hard in love with her.
She's so cool headed, uses big words, laughs with the face of danger and has such an adventurous spirit. And is very beautiful.
He's not the sharpest knife in the crayon box, but he certainly has a big heart even if they're some more jerkish qualities that should be checked.
They end up marrying in late 20s.
Thanks for the ask @gritsandbrits! Sorry I took so long! 😅

Lol. That's sweet. For the sake of shoehorning I'll just squeeze my OCS in @gritsandbrits.
---
"Oh no! Oh no! What do we do!?" Caitlin shook in a mix of trepidation and anxiety. Teeth chattered with every step a being covering the horizon took. She always wanted to get closer to nature and have fun while doing that.
Fighting a giant ghost octopus at the Amity Park Zoo was not her idea of that. Or an idea of fun. Or even an idea to begin with!
"Don't panic!" Kalvin flipped through his spellbook at such speeds, it was a surprise he didn't get a papercut. "There's bound to be a weakness of some kind! I just need more time!"
The last comment caught Dani's attention as her ears perked up in realization. "Time," She could practically see the future with the plan crafting in her mind. "That's it! Kalvin! Freeze it! Then let's get to Plan K!"
"Way ahead of you Ellie!" With a thrust of both his hands forwards, a series of arrows shot from them, tangling up the ghost. It cried out in pain, before freezing in place. The three sighed in relief, before Kalvin had a chance to time it with his watch.
"Okay, that should give us good 5 minutes," He adjusted wristwatch before turning to the two girls. "So what's phase 2 Ellie? I doubt we have a thermos that big."
"Throw you at the ghost," Dani said as plain as day. "Ghosts are weak to magic."
"Works for me," Kalvin shrugged, sloshing his long sleeves in the process.
Caitlin stared at her two best friends like they grew second heads, before rolling her eyes playfully. "And do you, Kalvin, have any objections, before the ghost will say hello to Dani's little friend?"
"Frankly my dear," Kalvin said before dramatically passing to put on a pair of shades. "I don't give a damn."
"Yeah!" They both shouted before hi-fiving.
Dani looked at them with mix of intrigue and oddity, tilting her head sideways.
"Yeah, I have no idea what you guys are saying."
Kalvin and Caitlin turned their heads to Dani, confused by those blunt words.
"Girl, you know... Scarface? Came out in the 80s? It's more recent than Gone With The Wind," Caitlin began in a soft tone. This wasn't the first time she's given them that look.
"Come on Ellie! You've got to atleast know of them," Kalvin placed a hand on her shoulder, with an encouraging grin that sparkled under the sun.
Dani continued to stare at them with her big green eyes. Kalvin stopped smiling before sighing and rolling his eyes.
"They're movie references Fenton, cult classics," Kalvin said bluntly before the realization hit him harder than first time said ghost girl punched him in the face. "Wait a minute, you don't watch many movies do you!?"
"No... is that bad?" Dani shrugged, rubbing her left arm lightly. She wasn't entirely sure why her friends seemed so bothered.
Caitlin tapped her chin in thought. "I wouldn't say bad, girl, but it definitely says a lot about you when we hang out,"
Kalvin snapped his fingers. "Like that time we went on that boat ride! You honestly didn't know, 'I'm the king of the world' was a reference to the Titanic!?"
"You call yourself that all the time," Both girls uttered deadpan in unison, earning an embarrassed blush from Kal.
"Okay, okay, you got me there," He sighed. "The point is Ellie, we care about you and as as your best friend-"
Caitlin cleared her throat, giving a pointed look at the smaller boy.
"As one of your best friends," Caitlin gave a thumbs up and a goofy grin, clearly satisfied. Kalvin continued on. "I just think you'll love them! And I insist we watch them next Weekend!"
"Great! Then it's a date!" Dani closed her eyes and smiled joyfully at the offer.
"Right on!" Kalvin blurted out. The words sank in almost immediately, as his face turned into bright shade of crimson. "AS FRIENDS OF COURSE!"
"Sorry to cut off Romeo here, but uh, we still have that thing," Caitlin jabbed her thumb to the ghost still frozen.
"Already on it!" Dani picked up the still flustered Kalvin, before chucking him at the ghost.
"AAAAAAAH-OOF! I'm okay..." He muttered lightly before falling off the ghost, straight into the arms of the flying Dani Phantom.
The ghost stiffened in pain, crying out violently, before it's cries were silenced by a spare Fenton thermos. Caitlin twirled device in her hand, victorious, before turning her head back to the pair.
"And that's on that! I'd love to come this weekend, but my mom wants me to watch my little brothers, so see yeah!" Caitlin happily jogged off, fading away in the distance.
"Soo," Kalvin began as Dani fly them home. "What do you want to watch first?"
"I honestly don't know," Dani admitted honestly. She stared off into the clouds, not losing her grip on Kalvin. "It feels like a world of fun was opened up and I'm late to the party." There was a bit of a melancholy to her tone.
Noticing it, Kalvin quickly said. "Then let's surprise you! Life is full of them and you are deserve it!"
Dani blinked in shock a couple of times, before laughing lightly. "You're right. Surprise me!"
Kalvin joined in the laughter, never looking away from Dani's happy face. Something about her drew him to her and part of him wanted to see that smile again and again.
"Hey Kalvin?"
"Yes Dani?"
"There's no place like home."
"The prodigal girl is finally getting it," This was going to be a long weekend.
A headcanon with untapped potential is the lack of any real pop culture Dani has consumed. Which is hilariously sad and ironic considering she's Danny's clone and he's a huge nerd.
My personal headcanon is that Sam gets her into horror movies amd Tucker tries to teach some of the more popular trends.

Happy International Women's Day! What is your OC's relationship with being a woman? How has being female affected their upbringing and/or their past? How does being female affect their actions, thoughts, and relationships with others, if at all?
Thanks for asking @random-oc-questions-fairy!
What is your OC's relationship with being a woman?
Good question. Caitlin Suzuki regards being a woman as something to flourish in and something that is so widely defined by the women she meets over the years. From the tomboyish, yet lonely Dani Phantom, to the stoic, yet misunderstood Sam Manson, it's a wide sea of differences and attributes and she's the one that swims through and learns along the way.
But when not looking at other women she knows, she sees her relationship to her gender as something she ultimately defines. Strong, pretty, innovative and someone that forges new experiences and newfound love for herself with every passing day.
How has being female affected their upbringing and/or their past?
Her being female used to affect her in the past, with her parents being rather protective of her. Her grandpa being the only one treating her differently and seeing beyond her gender. And age. Hence the wide array of swords at her disposal and how to hide them.
Nowadays, her parents are a lot more lenient and give her a tremendous amount of freedom to be who she is. Regardless of how far the stars are, she'll gaze and gallop before she knows it. And her parents are right there before her.
How does being female affect their actions, thoughts and relationships with others, if at all?
Her being female doesn't affect her actions on a daily basis. She'll gladly walk into the next room, little thought of what others may think of or perceive her. Unless it's attention, then she'll accept it.
When it comes to thoughts, not really. Unless fashion related counts, as she is in more or less in a constant state of picking what she'll wear. And look awesome while doing it. Whether punting a ghost or not.
Relationships? With others, she's chill around a majority of people already, so gender is not that much of a factor. Unless something has to be said (or done) and Dani hopefully accesses things before she does something too rash. Or joins in lol.
With men, her being female isn't that much of a factor when it comes to relationships. Though she can be a tad... "energetic" when it comes to romances of her own life, she ultimately means well.
With other women, she's not the kind of person to look down on them if they're different and is generally accepting of even the most striking of people to her personality. It's not worth her time. Flowers bloom not only on their own in the world, but with help of someone just as beautiful.
Thanks for asking again! :-D

When your character was young, what future did they imagine themselves having? Have they achieved this imagined future? If not, how has their view of the future changed?
When your character was young, what future did they imagine themselves having?
When Caitlin was young, she always imagined herself living a rather... quaint life as a teacher. As in an ordinary life where nothing too hectic happened and the most scary things would be troubling things that happen in a student's life. Or some very questionable comments on one's home life.
Part of her desperately wanted more, but going past that scared her. Much of the real world was so quickly inviting and yet so quick to hurt her at the same time.
Have they achieved this imagined future?
While she has taught as a fashion teacher multiple times over the years, it's no longer what she wanted or envisioned. She now wants to be the first fashion designer for both models and ghost hunters, while being a ghost hunter herself.
If not, how has their view of the future changed?
Her view of the future has changed from being rather, close minded yet cautious to adventurous and ready to expand her horizons.

*Dani
And yeah, I thought making them a direct victim of Dan was a tad cliche, it helps even and expands how evil Dan is. The world didn't stand a chance against him.
Indeed, I doubt the episode had time to show any other help Valerie and Mr. Gray got.

THANK YOU SO MUCH @actiontoongorlz! 😊
The idea was to give her more friends, open up more to others and to herself.
Yeah, he can be seen as the good version of Freakshow. Thankfully no where near as cruel.
I should've given more moments with Dani, Kal and Caitlin. Or as I like to call them, "The Lost Legacy Trio." But here's some...
While waiting for her parents to finish dinner, Caitlin asks to do Dani's hair and the latter just shrugs and let's her. While doing her hair, Caitlin remarks no one has clearly done her hair before and Dani just cries into Cait's chest.
Kalvin was beyond intrigued by Dani as she not a full ghost, but a "Door Keeper." Or "halfa" as Dani insists. He thinks the historical name is better and cooler. While helping explore her powers, he gifts her ice cream to see if she does have ice powers. The two of them both get brain freezes and laugh, with Dani first asking him stop laughing and then joining in the laughter.
Dani has yet to mention being a clone to either of them, with both just assuming she had an accident in a natural ghost portal. They don't press any further and respect her in ways she feels so unworthy of.
Caitlin and Kalvin introduced Dani to applesauce, immediately regretting it as she's practically addicted. At least she's very happy.
Kalvin is forbidden from driving the two of them, after a car chase with the three sent a car flying into a lake. Thankfully no injuries.
When Caitlin and Kal first met, Kal's crush on Dani was very obvious with Cait promising not to say anything. Doesn't stop her from playing matchmaker, like that time she locked the two of them at a store alone, with only the "romantic" candles as a source of light. Forgetting the two of them have powers.
This is where Kalvin Elijah Pablo Adan Martin Williams comes in.
Sam is "not like other girls" and looks down other girls for being girly, while Caitlin is generally accepting of others with an unashamedly girly side to her. Though she can be a tad immature, she's not dumb by any means.
I'll most likely write little snippets of the three of them hanging out and I'd love to hear what you guys think of them.
