Also I have not forgotten about doodles (only about posting them) so have Yinro with Sohan, a person the party saved very spontaneously (which led to overthrowing a very bad guild's leaders and Yinro almost dying twice smh, they only wanted to stop in this city for a day). Yinro didn't want to go for interrogation of the baddies, so he took Sohan out for shopping lmao I loved this session how will I live for the next 2 weeks without dndddd

SOHAN💛 welcome back mylaaaa

Sohan is a Xianzhou Loufu resident who works at Hua’s (another oc of mines) clinic! He works along with Hua, Qiang, and Yinuo to make and deliver medicine to the residents of the ship! He’s usually the one taking orders and picking up shipments

Sohan is very roundabout helpful person and a lot more cunning and witty than he acts to be. He’s very easygoing towards his boss (Hua) and is constantly asking her for overtime to get more money and he’ll even do other people’s jobs for them that work at the clinic! He says it’s because the clinic is severely understaffed (which is true they only has like four people because Hua isn’t native to the Xianzhou so people find her methods suspicious) but he just wants to be paid more. Really he just began working for her one day until she eventually began paying him.

His origins or past is generally unknown he just shows up for work and returns home (wherever that is; Hua’s voice lines abt her claim to see him sleep inside the clinic more often than he goes home), it is implied he’s done something that’s warranted for his imprisonment as every time he picks up Hua’s shipments he ends up being chased around by Cloud Knights—he somehow manages to evade them a lot of the time. Hua thinks he keeps getting chased down because he forgets to sign for her packages. No one ever comes asking for him most of the time, they don’t really know who he is.

Sohan is a very poor older brother figure for Yinuo and Qiang (in which he tries and fails to be because both of them r younger than him, Hua is a short-living species so she is too but she’s considerably more mature). He makes the attempt, nonetheless.

Meet Verril Sohan!

I've been wanting to make an oc that's in one of the dorms for a while, but I didn't know how they would fit in. But I got the idea of making a character that's based on the magic mirror from Snow White.

Basic info:

Name: Verril Sohan

Age: 17

Birthday: December 3rd

Dorm: Pomefiore

Height: 170cm (5'6)

Origin: Scalding Sands

Best subject: Magic analysis

Favourite food: Cereal

Personality:

He's described as good-looking and charming physically, but that's quickly eradicated when you start talking to him. Verril sees no use in telling lies, no matter how small. He says, "A white lie can't be that insignificant if finding out about it still disappoints you." A lot of students at NRC dislike him for that reason because they think he's unnecessarily rude when he himself believes the opposite. Although he hates lies, he hates "brutal honesty" more. He doesn't like it when people use the excuse of telling the truth to justify rude comments.

One of the hardest parts when it came to writing this character was making his signature spell. I wanted it to be the ability to make people tell the truth, but Jade already has that. I was genuinely struggling so much, and my friend and I brainstormed for a while before we came up with the idea of shape-shifting.

Basically how his spell "Your Reality Is Now Mirrored" works is he can shift into any living being, animal or human, under the strict condition that the creature he wants to shape-shift into has to have lied to him once in his life.

I'm still figuring out some things about him like his friends, how he fits into the main story, etc... I honestly love making ocs, and this is the first time I've shared one on the Internet. Please share your thoughts on a few aspects of the character and tell me what you think of him!!

SO MUCH. SO MUCH!!!

SO a large portion of his ideologies is that he is largely a very online force. he holds the idea of romance on a pedestal and he believes in true love and it's something he wants with an insane desperation (one of his favorite pokémon is applin) and he tries over and over and over again but none of his relationships really stick. he is more in love with the concept of love than with the people.

anyway so after his upteenth breakup he decides fuck it. this next time is GONNA BE IT. this is my big break where i have my fairytale romance. I just gotta choose who. so after a lot of pondering he decides that he is going to dedicate himself towards being in love with his favorite tumblr user. this is perfect. a faceless, largely detached force that he can project emotions and personality onto and start obsessing over and fabricate. it rocks

then it devolves into his eventual ACTUAL relationship with rodney and it all goes further downhill from there
