Henry didn’t really know how to feel after Marilyn helped him with his rock fight injuries

He didn’t get the chance to say thank you, nor did he want to thank you because it’s embarrassing for him

It wasn’t until school started up again that Henry remembered Marilyn’s kindness when he saw her in 2nd period

He, of course, sat in the way back of the class during 2nd and 4th period, but his eyes always seemed to be set on that blonde vixen

Henry had started to subconsciously stare at Marilyn during school, especially in class or lunch

It wasn’t until Patrick Hockstetter made a joke about Henry always “eye banging” Marilyn that he even realized what he had been doing

This flustered the fuck out of Henry and he nearly gave Patrick a black eye for what he said, but Henry couldn’t deny what he’d been doing when they caught him

Let’s get one thing straight, Henry Bowers is a whore for affection and care

A mother’s love if you will

Marilyn offered that to him the day she helped him

That little gesture was enough to kickstart Henry’s subconscious crush on Marilyn

Once it became apparent to Henry, he would sometimes stalk Marilyn around school (with or without the gang. Just never with Patrick)

He began to attend football games and pep rallies just to see Marilyn cheer (He hates sports but he loves seeing girls in tiny skirts. What can I say? Motherless behavior)

Dating

Henry didn’t want the relationship to be public at first, mostly because he knew it would tarnish both of their reputations

Dates were at night and only at odd locations i.e. the barrens, quarry, woods, junkyard

He did however tell the gang and boy were those boys shocked

Belch and Vic were already on good terms with Marilyn, so they were rather happy about Henry’s girlfriend

But Patrick, the devious little whore, was more keen on making Marilyn as uncomfortable as possible whenever she intruded on their little gang outings

Henry made it a point to never let Marilyn around Patrick alone, even appointing Belch to be around Marilyn if Henry wasn’t around to guard her

He’s a bit overprotective as a boyfriend

In public he’s just so stoic and “manly”

But in private he’s a bit more relaxed, letting his walls down whenever it’s just him and his little ball of sunshine

He isn’t into getting sappy and venting to Marilyn, but he will often let her patch him up after fights, or go to her when he and his dad get into it

Cuddle bug.

Henry’s love language is physical touch, but he will only ever touch Marilyn with innocent intentions

He’s scared of sexual intimacy with Marilyn because she’s so pure and he’s worried about ruining her 🌻

He found out she likes to get drunk at parties, so he started to attend parties to keep an eye on her from a distance

Gets violently angry when Patrick calls her Marsy

Henry makes Victor sit in the middle of the trans am to block Patrick’s wandering hands from Marilyn

“I’m gonna rip your fucking hands clean off your pathetic body” -Henry to Patrick

Very possessive over Marilyn, so her friendly personality makes it even harder for him

In mental anguish whenever he sees her sitting with the jocks during lunch

This jealousy and possessiveness is what convinced him to make the relationship public

Unfortunately, his feelings only grew stronger at the attention she garnered when their relationship was announced

He began to pick fights with guys who paid attention to his dear Marilyn, sometimes gripping her wrist to usher her away whenever the stares were driving him insane

What was at first a sweet puppy love crush became Henry doing everything he possibly could to guard his Marilyn from the world and all its negativity, unaware that he was part of the problem.

this ended up being more of a silly couple's pose, but i still really like how it came out hehe. i also used it as an excuse to finally draw kara's winter date outfit, which kuroba would 100% fuck with and dress up more so they could slay together. truly, they match each others' freak in the best ways...

Belch knows most people disregard him as the unfortunate looking one of the gang who’s dumb as rocks, and most people aren’t shy to make it known that’s how they think of him

For most of his life that’s what he’s been treated as, another dumb bully just without the looks his friends were graced with

When he found out he was paired with Marilyn for the history project, he was overcome with dread—guessing that Marilyn was just going to be another popular girl who would treat him like human garbage

To his surprise, Marilyn was rather different. Sure they bickered and lightly teased each other, but she didn’t treat him any differently than she would another one of his friends… except maybe Patrick’s psychotic self

About a week after their project, Belch found himself missing this feeling of normality. The feeling that he was just another regular teenage boy

Two weeks had passed when Belch finally approached Marilyn. He sheepishly stood in front of her desk with a small smile (looked more like a sneer). The stares they were receiving from their peers made him want to shy away, but the reassuring smile he got from Marilyn was enough to give him the courage he needed to ask her if she wanted a ride home

After a painfully tense drive home, the bulky brunette asked Marilyn if she wanted a ride to school the next day. From then on a schedule was made! Belch would drive Marilyn to school, home with the guys on Friday, and on cheer practice days would return at 6 to take her back home

When asked why he does this, he would turn red like a tomato while sputtering out some excuse.

“Kids are going missing, moron! Use your head, damnit!”

After weeks of rides and pining, Belch asked Marilyn on a date.

He did not phrase it as a date, instead he asked if she wanted to go on a nature walk

He popped the question of dating when they were miles deep into the woods and only he knew the way back.

Dating

He doesn’t show her off necessarily, but he sure isn’t shy about letting people know she’s his girlfriend

He’s actually quite proud of the fact that he could bag Derry’s golden girl since he was viewed as Derry’s… unfortunate looking bully

The gang had already got the hint that Belch had a thing for Marilyn, so it was no surprise to them when they saw the couple coming towards the car hand in hand

Henry is quite vocal about how off they look together

Victor is not at all as vocal as Henry or Patrick, instead he quietly appreciates the couple who act as the parents of the group

Patrick tried to hit on Marilyn during a ride home and Belch slammed the brakes knowing Patrick doesn’t wear his seatbelt

Belch had to clean the blood from the back of the headrest where Patrick’s head smashed into it

From then on Belch kicked Henry to the back to make Marilyn his passenger princess

Belch isn’t the jealous type by any means but seeing Marilyn around the jocks really grinds his gears

Like most people assume, Belch is the brute of the group, however he is also a big gentle giant who won’t use his strength against others unless commanded by Henry

It is for that reason that the gang was so surprised when Belch socked the QB of the football team for staring at Marilyn in her cheer uniform

He sheepishly apologized to Marilyn after while she was cleaning his knuckles

This big softie loves cuddling, hugging, or carrying his girlfriend

He’s very into words of affirmation and physical touch

His list of cute nicknames for her are out of this world

PDA enjoyer because he loves to show how beautiful his girlfriend is and how much he adores her

Attends every game she cheers at but only for her

Though he is a great boyfriend, at times he was entirely clueless to the double life his girlfriend was leading

When he found out she had been drinking at parties and taking up smoking, he offered guidance but also protection

He stays sober to make sure she’s okay when she’s not

Though he absolutely loves his precious Marilyn, his loyalties still lie with Henry. There were more than a few times when he would have to cancel on dates or pick her up a little later than usual because of Henry

There are periods of time where he loses sight of his main priority (Marilyn) because he is so caught up with Henry

He usually makes up for it by taking her out on a nice date, especially picnics

Belch tries to take her on a nature date at least once a week

Overall, Belch is a pretty wonderful boyfriend who loves his Marilyn dearly and would do anything for her. The attention she lacks from home is easily made up by her lovesick boyfriend… who can maybe be a bit much at times, but he means well!

Woe fankids be upon ye

Doing a little series where I took some ship requests on my instagram to make them fankids, this one is for me tho (jeanlisa to kick it off whoo 🙌🏻) The lineup so far is Cytham, Kavetham, Lionfish (aka Freminet x Gaming aged up probably idk how old they are canonically), Cynonari, Jealuc, and Beiguang, and feel free to send me some other pairings you wanna see (as long as they are legal pls otherwise I will ignore it 👎)

I'm gonna ramble about some headcanons and lore for them under the cut, continue with caution bc I'm insane

These two are my brainrot rn, don't even joke lad. And I wanna tell yall their name meanings too bc I like them a lot 🥹 Zephra's means "west wind" derived from Greek, and it's the feminine version of Zephyr. Tyrian was a type of purple dye used by the Ancient Phoenicians, huge huge HUGE thanks to my pookie bear @miothefish for helping me out with his name!!! Also he has Lisa's butterfly earring and you can't see bc of the angle but Zephra has the rose that went in her hair holding her ponytail <3

I'm also making a massive family tree for the characters as a go along, and just the jeanlisa tree is taking up half of the canvas bc of the KoF and Sumeru characters since Cyno is their uncle and the rest of the gang are their honorary uncles 😭 I'll be posting that once the series is done/all the requests are finished/I run out of ships and otps I enjoy

Here's an alternative version with some more info on most of the characters I wanted to briefly mention in their relation to them; Tyrian likes calling Eula his aunt too even though she was never really considered one for them so it's kind of like her unofficial title she pretends to dislike but she loves it and dotes on Tyrian 🤭 She and Diluc also helped train Zephra with a claymore and Diluc kind of became a parental figure to her in her teen years after Lisa's passing 🥺 She also feels like she's outshined by Jean and that she's not smart or powerful enough to follow in Lisa's footsteps (something that Lisa wouldn't want anyways bc it led her to her death 😔) rip zephra she's just like me fr

And yeah some Kaeya angst bc he's still going thru it I fear, and Jean is single mombossing but she's worried for zephra which me too dawg, im afraid to say she might be cooked 😦 Zephra is also kind of like a weird mix of Lisa when she was her age and Jean, where overall she's well-mannered and kind but she can be competitive and feel the need to push herself too much and pull a few strings to get what she wants from time to time. Tyrian is a ray of sunshine tho, he has not yet witnessed the horrors 💔 I do think that Jean is also a lot easier on him than her mom was with her so that also helps. He's very shy tho and wants to stick with Zephra or Razor most of the time, and they both have some nasty tan lines from going out with Razor and Klee and Fischl a lot 😔 Cyno also freaking loves them and dotes on them and Tyrian is getting a TCG addiction because of it smh, Cyno is also one of Zephra's favorite people and when she's in Sumeru she stays with him and Alhaitham (bc in my universe they are married ough I love cytham)

And (I think?) Klee physically and mentally ages slower than humans so I think she'd be technically 9 or 10, and Zephra is left with babysitting duty most of the time if she's home on break or smth 😭 Klee really looks up to her tho

Also, I wrote Tyrian's last bullet point like he was super young when Lisa died, but I think he was around 7 so he actually remembers Lisa better than I intended it to sound, he was just younger than Zephra (who was 11 at the time) and just didn't have as much time with her as Zeph did, but his most fond memory of Lisa was reading with her and she probably taught them some potion-making skills too.

I think there will be some abyss angst in here too at some point, since I hc Lisa to be probably an Abyss Lector/Harold (I forget which is which) um so thinking that Zeph and Tyrian experiencing some not normal things happening and Jean doesn't know what to do since Lisa also didn't really know what that dog in her was until it was too late 😔 That's what Kaeya's for tho since he's like the heir of the abyss???? Go off king. Also some touchy ragbros angst bc Kaeya is scared for Zeph knowing how close she is with Luc and he doesn't want him to push her away because of her being from the abyss or smth (they mostly made up but it's still a fear in Kaeya's mind both for him and Jean's kids)

I think that's all I wanted to touch on for now?? Mainly just thinking about domestic fluff and angst all the time now 🥺 Zeph not being able to be open with Jean bc she feels like a disappointment but Jean would literally actually die for her and shes proud of her no matter what ough im going to lose my freak dawg guess who my favorite fankid is it's super hard ik
