Tbh it's been a while since I've drawn the Close To Your Heart version of my persona/oc Harmony Roundwolf so here's some context

She's actually a clothes designer who makes dresses for women to wear to special occasions or prom and would sell these dresses sometimes in her boutique or in markets and of course she has crystal abilities that she would practice when she's alone in the woods sometimes not realizing that she is on sacered grounds of the palace that has the artifact (Don't ask me how she was never caught, I honestly don't know myself)

Ailuranthrope Carnivorous human 🙂

She/her (cis woman)

Early 20s

Residence: Los Diables, California (a fictional city near the Nevada border)

Design notes:

Naturally (prematurely) grey hair cut in a choppy bob

Light brown / orange eyes

Feline-ish teeth

Supraorbital (eyebrow) whiskers

Retractable claws (fingernails slide back under the skin when the claws are extended)

6’0”

Piercings: Standard lobe (dark blue), industrial (metallic silver), eyebrow (metallic silver with yellow rhinestone inset), collarbone (dark blue). She got them to try to make her guise of being a body mod enthusiast more convincing (“it would be weird for someone to do hardcore fringe things like whisker implants and getting their teeth filed and capped, but not have any of the more ‘basic’ mods like piercings” was her line of reasoning, if that makes any sense).

More about the piercings: she has a severe nickel allergy, so she can’t get sterling silver piercings. They’re all made of titanium (anodized on the blue ones).

Usually has a tired / vaguely annoyed expression

Personality:

Playful: Likes to play video games and stuff like that.

Dependable

Cynical

Impulsive: This and “dependable” might seem like mutually exclusive traits, but she manages to be both.

Denialistic: Easily falls into denial. This can get to an utterly ludicrous extent. Case in point: she’s managed to convince herself that she’s a regular human with a strange condition… despite the fact that she has literally experienced a (partial) transformation.

Doesn’t believe she deserves anything good in life: She is hesitant to do anything that’ll bring her happiness, and if something good happens to her she immediately starts waiting for her luck to turn. This is born out of a an internalized belief that she is an evil person.

Likes rock and synthpop music.

Other important things:

The reason why Ash feels she’s a bad person who deserves to suffer is because she’s convinced that every bad thing that has happened to her family was her fault. Let’s just say that her parents personally helped her form this belief.

The reason she’s in such deep denial of being a shapeshifter and not just a “carnivorous human” is fairly simple. She finds the idea too strange and terrifying to accept it as the truth.

Ash is one of those people who pick up languages very easily. At the beginning of the story, she speaks 6 languages and is learning a 7th.

Her bones and muscles are denser than a human’s (this is a general therianthrope trait), so she’s stronger and more resilient. She also has superhuman jumping abilities, being able to leap twenty-five feet horizontally and eight feet vertically (this is not a general therianthrope trait).

The blue arcade machine keychain she has was a gift bought for her by one of her online friends. They both followed an account for a small business that made stuff like that, and the friend bought it for Ash as a gift for her eighteenth birthday.
