Mary was simply a slave, sold to the emperor’s service after being ripped from her tribe of the Cheruscis where she’d been considered the most beautiful woman. Her fiancé had supposedly fallen in battle but it’s not as if that mattered to these Roman dogs who simply saw her as a pretty body to use.

Beatings were all too common for her now since she rarely would respond to commands or listen, especially when she was already completing a task. In her mind if they wanted her to finish something correctly then they would have to wait instead of ordering her to divide her time elsewhere. The young brunette’s once pristine pale back was now littered with scars from previous whippings, either for attempted escapes or simply refusing to speak to whomever called himself her master.

But she swore to herself she wouldn’t be broken. They could do what they liked to her body but they could never touch her spirit.

Mary had been tasked with bringing the emperor his wine and so she had began to walk through the halls with a tray balanced in her arms and a simple chiton covering her lithe and curvy body. If she could be completely honest she wished she had poison so she could watch the man whom enforced such cruelty against her struggle for life. But the young woman knew if she’d attempt such a thing, all that would succeed in doing is having her head on the execution block next.

As she approached his bed chambers she began to hear odd noises, what sounded like….. moans….. and sucking? Approaching the silk curtains with the tray still tight in her grasp she attempted to determine what was happening.

Then she saw it.

Silvia, another slave girl she’d became slightly acquainted with on her knees between the emperor’s legs as he moans and pushes her head forward. Mary’s eyes grew wide in shock as she continued to stare at the scene in complete shock, she’d never seen something like this before. For the Roman’s claims that her and other tribes were savages that enjoyed screwing each other in plain view of others was as far from the truth as it could be, those things were always done in privacy, not in a place where someone could easily stumble in and discover such trysts.

The young’s woman had been staring for so long….. she didn’t realize she’d made herself a target.

Carmilla Nightshade, DAUGHTER OF ARTEMIS AND ZOE NIGHTSHADE

Parents: Artemis and Zoe Nightshade (both bio parents, she was born by magic)

Appearance: long dark brown curly hair with a white streak, brown skin and silver eyes.

Backstory: She was born from magic as the bio daughter of Artemis and Zoe Nightshade and was raised as their daughter, she adores her brother but thought he abandond her and the hunt when he disappeared one day. She blamed Artemis for Zoes death and she and Nico tried to bring back Bianca, her first love. She eventually learns to accept her death and moves on with Piper.

Dislikes: almost all gods, camp, quests, most guys he met, some hunters.

Backstory: He was abandond in a forest as an infant, he was found by the hunt and they grew fond of him. Artemis and Zoe raised him as if he was their own son and the hunters treated him like a younger brother. He almost died when he was 5 years old and Artemis was able to save him with Hecates help by giving him her "blood", making her biological son. He disappeared one night when he was 14 years old, Carmilla hates him, thinking that he abandond them.

OC TIME

so im gonna talk about modern au aoife because i don't talk about her much and i love her

aoife...has changed. she’s grown as a character. this comes with thinking about ocs, yes, but she’s less ‘manic pixie dream girl’ and more of a rounded character

her style is cute but comfy. if you’ve ever seen bestdressed on yt, it’s sort of like that? it ranges from snakeskin button up under a black slip dress to thickest jumper you’ve ever seen to stripy yellow tee and dungarees. she dyes her hair so that it’s just too ginger to be her natural hair colour but still plausible from a distance. 

she’s surprisingly good at fortnite, which they learned on a lets play and she was shocked, but crap at minecraft (erin finds this hilarious)

her favourite season is autumn and her least favourite is summer because summer clothes tend to be ugly

she can speak okay spanish and the bare minimum of french. her favourite period of history is celtic britain and pre-invasion aztec civilisation. she knows some norse mythology but isn't as into it as jacob.

aoife’s entire face scrunches up when she smiles. she has soft hands and a piercing at the top of her ear that’s closing up. 

her favourite book is never let me go and her favourite film is a quiet place. (erin’s is ladybird. felt like i had to mention that.) she likes lady lamb and regina spektor and HATES the bee gees. she thinks cat stevens is okay. her favourite instrument is the flute or the harp and her least favourite is cymbals because what’s the point of them? they make a loud noise. so what. kick drums can do that.

the thing she most orders from coffee shops is a latte because she’s not into sugary creamy coffee like jacob but can't stomach black coffee like erin can.

she seems really cool from far away but she titles youtube videos like ‘heartbreaking: local losers don’t have enough money to get cookie crisp from tesco’ and uses too many heart emojis. she owns 47 rings but never wears any of them. 

she is, at heart, an optimist. she believes that people deserve a chance to be heard out (most of the time. this doesn't go for, like, transphobes and fascists) and that’s why she starts talking to jacob when she meets him at a uni open day. he looks like he wants to be anywhere but where he is, and he’s clearly avoiding his family, and she feels sorry for him. he’s clearly scared and confused and doesn't know who he is yet, and aoife’s pretty sure she’s got it all figured out, so she asks him to meet her somewhere, sometime. and that’s that and everything else follows.

she throws flowers at every single babylon concert she goes to - red roses for rita, lilies for marie, marigolds for annabella. she says she likes all their songs equally, but she does have a favourite: eve.

aoife thrives in small furniture shops and clean alleyways and country paths that lead away from the road and next to bridges by streams and outside bus stops at night in winter and at the back of a bowling alley. her favourite place on earth is a small village on an island in greece, looking out at the sea and moving through the streets that look like something out of a jim henson movie. when she dies, she’ll be buried in a cliff along the cornish coast and oscar will plant a tree for her next to the ones he planted for erin and jacob. she’ll be the last of them to leave, because out of the three of them, she loves life the most.

she’s neither a dog person nor a cat person, but she did have a pet bird that escaped.

Is Jim Henson and his Muppet boi Jimmy are conjoined twins? (Why Jimmy's skin Like kermit?????) (But Good art of these two!)

heya pal! thanks for the kind words I'm glad people are liking my ch ocs.

And yes, they are conjoined twins and for your second question about his skin being green like Kermit is that Jimmy is infact made out of ripped Muppets part with his skin and eyes being Kermit's and eyebrows and hair from a more human-like Muppets (like ernie and bert) and got swen together to make an accurate yet not version of jim because Scudworth noticed that the clones right hand was nowhere to be seen so he had to man up about it himself instead of actually buying the jim Henson puppet portrait cause that's cheating to him.
