It's time to introduce my Clack/Zakkura Shipchildren: Angeal and Aerith!
In my version of Final Fantasy VII, Zack is alive (just like in the remake)
Zack and Cloud meet as teenagers (Zack at 16 and Cloud at 14) during Crisis Core
In my version, Zack and Cloud are both SOLDIER
In my version, Cloud becomes a 1st class SOLDIER at 16
In my version, Zack and Cloud are Angeal Hewley's protégés
Cloud fall in love for Zack on his first day as a SOLDIER, for 2 years, Zack and Cloud become best friends
Zack and Cloud get together during the Nibelheim mission (before Sephiroth ruins everything)
In the ending of my version of Crisis Core, Cloud thought Zack was dead, but he actually went into a coma and was locked away in the Shinra labs
Zack wakes up in the ending of my version of Final Fantasy VII, in the same ending, Zack and Cloud reconcile
2 years later, Zack and Cloud are the owners of Strife-Fair Delivery Service
At the beginning of my version of Advent Children, Zack proposes to Cloud after 9 years of knowing each other, 7 years of being together, and 2 years of reconciling
Zack and Cloud get married in the ending of my version of Advent Children
Both children were born to Cloud
Zack stayed by Cloud's side during the birth of their children
Angeal Fair
Angeal is Zack and Cloud's firstborn
His full name is Angeal Tifa Strife Fair (his first name is taken from Zack and Cloud's mentor, Angeal Hewley, his middle name is taken from Cloud's childhood friend, Tifa Lockhart, while is third name is Cloud's surname)
Angeal was conceived on Zack and Cloud's wedding day
Angeal was born 9 months after the events of my version of Advent Children
When he found out he was pregnant, Cloud was very happy at the idea of becoming a father, but he was also worried because, during the events of my version of Advent Children, he had fallen ill with geostigma, so he was afraid that his child would be born ill or, worse, that he would be born death or that if he and the child died
Fortunately, Cloud survives the childbirth and the baby, Angeal, is born healthy
When he picked up and saw his son for the first time, Cloud said emotionally: "My little angel, daddy is here, I thought I was going to lose you, but instead you are here in my arms! Me and your other father will love you and protect you...", then giving him a kiss on the forehead
Angeal is 21 years old, just like Cloud was in Final Fantasy VII
Angeal is considered Zack and Cloud's "beloved son"
Angeal is so loved by his fathers, especially Cloud
His personality is very similar to that of Cloud
Angeal has black hair, inherited from Zack, and blue eyes, inherited from his fathers
Angeal wears a red bow on his arm (in my version of Final Fantasy VII, also Aerith Gainsborough is alive, married and mother, for me the red bow that the Final Fantasy VII characters wear in Advent Children, including Aerith, symbolizes their alliance and friendship)
Angeal wields Cloud's Busted Sword
At the age of 14, Angeal becomes a SOLDIER just like his fathers, he will become a 1st class SOLDIER at 16
When his younger sister became a SOLDIER, Angeal promised to protect her
Aerith Fair
Aerith is Zack and Cloud's second-born
Her full name is Aerith Claudia Strife Fair (her first name is taken from Zack and Cloud's ally, Aerith Gainsborough, her middle name is taken from her grandmother, Claudia Strife, Cloud's mother, while her third name, like her brother Angeal, is Cloud's surname)
Aerith is two years younger than Angeal
Unlike when he was pregnant with Angeal, which he spent with joy and worry, Cloud spent his second pregnancy calmly
When Aerith was born, Cloud happily said: "Here is my little flower! You remind me of your big brother since he was born... I hope that when you grow up, he will protect you and love you..." then giving her a kiss on the forehead
Aerith is 19 years old
Aerith loves her fathers very much and has a great relationship with her brother Angeal
Her personality is very similar to that of Zack
Aerith has blonde hair, inherited from Cloud, and blue eyes, inherited from her fathers
Aerith wears two bows, a purple one in her hair, and a red one on her arm
Aerith got a scar on her cheek during a mission as a SOLDIER
Aerith wields Zack's Busted Sword (in my version of Final Fantasy VII, Cloud had given a new Busted Sword to Zack on the second anniversary of their reconciling)
At the age of 13, Aerith became a SOLDIER like her fathers, also Aerith will become a 1st class SOLDIER at the age of 16
I want to see your version of my shipchildren! And not only that, your version of Angeal and/or Aerith's birth!

Some "Sector VII" doodles I did this evening while vibing with my sib and their parents. I have the biggest feels for Angeal and Zack as chosen!siblings. Still gotta finish that origin comic on how Zack ended up being 'adopted' by the AGS household. Speaking of Seph, I think he doesn't like social media. But being local idol makes him deal with it anyway.

Calendula (FFVIII OC Fanfiction)
Oh boy, getting into the bad habit of snippety writing again. Also on chapter one and I already have writers' block... yay. Made the executive decision to have this take place during Crisis Core (at least at the start). Also will be bouncing between 1-3 OCs per part. TW: Mentions of drug usage Chapter One
Yuxi
“Name and registration forms.” The bored attendant asked, sitting at a desk in the front office, accommodating the lines of incoming students.
“Yuxi Lian.” Yuxi had her papers held out, paperclipped and aligned properly.
The attendant scanned the forms and handed the original copies back. “Head to room 111 for your ID photo. ID photos will be distributed within the first six weeks of instruction. Please exercise patience.”
“Yes ma’am, thank you ma’am.” Yuxi nodded, walking along the stone tile floor of the lobby to find the door that led to the hallways.
A brunette boy was sitting on a stool in the photography room. His hair was fairly unruly and pulled into a low stubby ponytail at the base of his head. He wore what looked to be an infantry uniform and appeared almost antsy to get up and out of the camera lights.
His emerald orbs met Yuxi’s as he glanced at where she stood in the door. Yuxi passed by him as she took her seat on the stool. Yuxi settled into place and did as she was told, putting on a neutral expression for her ID photo. She could practically feel her pupils constricting from the bright flash.
“Next.” The photographer simply lowered his camera and shooed Yuxi away. Geez, people in Sector Zero sure weren’t very chipper.
Oswin
Oswin pushed his keycard against the reader on the door. He waited for the hydraulic hiss of the door’s pistons before he stepped into the room. His nose wrinkled against the scent of cinnamon and gourd. He could tell Sephiroth had reheated pumpkin soup sometime this morning, probably because the SOLDIER could get it into a thermos and just head out. Oswin didn’t care for pumpkin soup. In his opinion, the texture was less than desirable, being viscous and simultaneously too smooth and too gritty for his tastes. He didn’t like that no matter how finely the pumpkin was blended, you never could get rid of the slight grit and texture the pumpkin provided the dish.
He looked through drawers for the coffee grounds, hoping there were still some in the bag. Angeal was usually the one who kept track of what was and wasn’t in stock, and given that he was currently MIA, coffee was a bit of a gamble.
“Heya! Don’t you normally have early morning training?” Zack waved to Oswin as he entered.
“Yeah, well, Hewley usually oversees instruction on Monday mornings and they haven’t picked someone else to take over for him since no one else wants to be up at five in the morning on a monday if they don’t have to.” Oswin poured a scoop of the coffee grounds into the filter and turned the electronic kettle on.
“Damn, so you really lucked out, man.” Zack smirked as he rifled through the cabinets. “Are we out of protein bars again?”
“Probably. You know Angeal was about the only one who put in restock requests with maintenance.” Oswin shrugged, drumming his fingers against the counter as he waited on the kettle.
“I just remembered, we have mako infusions today, aren’t you not supposed to drink caffeine?” Zack shoved a mangled package of dried fruit into his pocket, settling for the depressing trail mix.
“Well lucky me, we only had decaf,” Oswin rolled his eyes. “Caffiene’s fine… assuming you’re not a bleeder.”
“Sounds like you know that one from personal experience.” Zack laughed.
Oswin shrugged, pouring the boiling water over his coffee in slow, circular rounds. “I don’t know, shit burns. I usually just take a sedative beforehand. They don’t really care if you sleep on the table, as long as you get the infusion into your system.”
Oswin had had infusions from a fairly young age, much like Sephiroth. It moreso came down to his tolerance and his ability to handle the mako enhancements. He could, and the plan was for him to be used in SOLDIER, so it wasn’t like starting him on mako earlier did anything other than push him to the end goal. But dear gods above, the mako burned like all hells. Oswin had learned pretty early on that taking a sedative and just taking his infusions in a drugged out nap worked better.
“Hojo lets you?” Zack asked, idly doing squats in the middle of the room.
“Hojo doesn’t care as long as he gets the results he wants. He doesn’t care if I’m drugged out if I keep giving him data.” Oswin sipped his coffee and leaned on the counter behind him. He glanced at the unmoving door. Something about this morning told him that things were about to get interesting.

Fractal-Chapter 3
SephirothxFem!OC
TW:Angst, light yandere, see tags Disclaimer: teasing, bdsm, budding dom/sub dynamic, childhood friends, yandere!Sephiroth (Light), Mirror Play, Edging (Sorry babes), Exhibitionism...sort of? [Quick links to previous and future chapters can be found at the bottom.]
[*Side Note* I would like to apologize for using the wrong name, as my foolish ass forgot to do my due diligence with properly bringing up the Wu Tai. I will do my best to ensure that I don't repeat my mistakes moving forward.]
So, Who’s the lucky girl? She couldn’t be that stupid. He knew when she was playing the fool and that was the most obvious act she could have ever displayed. And she'd displayed many in the time he knew her. Frustration built as he stood beneath the heavy droplets, and he couldn’t help but stare at the water as it circled down the drain. His long silver hair clung to his back and legs as he slid it away from his face. Long fingers embraced his shoulders and he jumped, circling and reaching for the owners throat. A threatening look flashed for a brief moment as a low and menacing growl escaped him. A gust of cool air blew past him as his feet brushed into an empty stall. Before he knew it, the other parties back was slammed against the wall. A loud and manic laugh echoed throughout the shower room and Sephiroth’s eyes widened. A shorter man with shoulder length spiky brown hair gazed up at him with ease as his chest rose and fell with every breath. He licked his lips and his eyes fluttered. Sephiroth could only sneer in annoyance towards his friend for nearly risking his life just now. But judging by the wanting look in the other man's eyes, his actions were not simply proceeded on the whims of a prank.
“That was dangerous, you know.” Sephiroth chided. His grip loosened on his subordinates throat as he moved back and heaved a sigh. “What the hell were you thinking? We’re supposed to be fighting the Wu Tai, not eachother.” The commander rolled his eyes, jutting his hip to the side before turning the nozzle to the spout beside his compatriot on blast. The cold splash was enough to cause Sephiroth to jump back with a glare. “Sorry to disappoint you, sourpuss.” Genesis tsked. “Unfortunately I know how to have fun.” Fun, was it? Sephiroth furrowed his brow. He clicked his tongue at Genesis's idea of fun. Fun was when Mia took paints to her mirror to draw silly little faces or play tic tac toe as children, or just sitting down and invited him to watch a movie on a tiny little box television that he could barely see in her bedroom lest all of her lights were turned off. He would have given anything to go trick or treating with her in little costumes, or have little make believe moments where they fought with her styrofoam swords. He would have loved to have a normal childhood with her in the pursuit of fun without the denial of innocence and to atleast have the opportunity grow apart and back together over and over until they matured as normal children would. Sephiroths fists slowly curled and tightened at the smaller man. He envied the privileges that Genesis afforded. For any hint of mischief, any toe out of line for Sephiroth would be met with severe punishment. His eyes drifted down as the memory of Mia in her prom dress. The way she'd altered it to compliment her features and dance with the light as she moved made him move away from the other man as quickly as possible, turning his water to a freezing temperature so things would go unnoticed. A mournful sigh escaped him as he looked at Genesis and studied his hair. It was similar to her hair color.
“Damn it…” He mumbled to himself, sighing and dipping his head further into the water. Genesis watched him with intrigue and a mercurial laugh echoed throughout the locker room. Sephiroth winced, frowning at him. “You're thinking about her, aren't you?" He mocked. " The little thing you’ve been jacking off to in our tent?” Sephiroth could hear the ire beneath Genesis’ words. The corner of his mouth twitched in agitation and his shoulders squared.
“I assume you have a point, Genesis?” Genesis grinned up at him, his eyes gleamed with malice as Sephiroth watched in scrutiny.
“Isn’t it obvious?” the shorter man sang. “When the war of the beasts brings about the world’s end, the goddess descends from the sky.”
On the surface, one could see that the waters of Sephiroth's ocean were calm, yet beneath the surface an undercurrent rushed as monsters thrashed through its tempest. The General's rage boiled as he did his best to quell the dark thoughts spurring toward his friend in that moment. And a lump formed in Sephiroth’s throat while he did his best to remain still. His breathing was steady as he stared at the wall and continued to wash himself. Genesis watched him patiently.
“It seems I've stricken a nerve .” The smaller of the two teased, growing more and more amused by the passing second.
“No, my friend.” The general laughed, “Unfortunately, I’ve grown too familiar with your little theatrics.”
Theatrics. Such a funny word to describe a funny man. Sephiroth smiled and ebbed towards the last of his shower routine. He'd begun to allow his friend too much freedom with his emotions. He breathed and slowly rolled his shoulders in an attempt to relax. Were he to act on his rage, Genesis would be granted the satisfaction he'd been so eagerly waiting for.
“Are you sure you can trust her?” Genesis warned. His face was placid. "She might betray you like Glenn did.”
Sephiroth’s eyes snapped open and his jaw set. He slowly turned his attention back to Genesis with a cold and calculated expression as steely eyes fixed on the smaller man, stopping him cold in his tracks. Saying nothing, he moved to rinse himself off, struggling to remain calm. Adrenaline rushed through him. He couldn't even think. And to bring up someone who just disappeared in and out of his...his thoughts trailed off. He didn't even realize he'd gripped onto the corner so hard that he'd broken the tiles. Blood smeared onto the locker room wall and the smell of copper permeated through the air. A hand fell on his shoulder and his voice called out to him before he spun around and the sound of shattering broke him out of his trance. Soon the smell of copper and iron was overwhelming as Genesis slid to the floor, groaning as he cradled the back of his head. Sephiroths eyes widened and his breath hitched.
He realized that he'd made a terrible mistake.
Mia curled against the mirror and waited for him. She’d been locked in her room most of the day and did not like the idea of going outside. She’d applied some makeup and wore a red mini dress so as to apologize for playing the fool. She wanted to talk about that once they spoke again. However, given that she waited as the minutes ticked by, she found herself…waiting.
And waiting…
And waiting some more….
“What’s taking him so long?!” She shrieked, finally tossing a pillow from the bed. She’d gone through the process of setting the ambience, the music, everything just to apologize and the window hadn’t opened as of yet. She couldn’t just say open sesame like in Aladdin and the Forty Thieves.
“Quite the ensemble, Starling.”
There was the voice again. She remembered hearing that very same voice when Leah came to her. A black fog consumed the room. A ghostly presence surrounded her, capturing her as though it’d found it’s lost bride. There was a certain mixture of joy and sadness as flames of blue and vibrant green floated in tiny balls.Yet the presence remained a shadow as it approached. As if She was not permitted to look upon their face. Soon, the flames faded one by one, and the candles soon faded and the room shrouded in darkness. A sudden weightlessness took hold, and a shiver ran down Mia’s spine as leather clad fingers brushed the small of her back.Cool flesh and trimmed leather brushed along her exposed flesh. Hot breath tickled her ear, while warm lips left a trail of butterfly kisses up her shoulder and down her neck. An involuntary moan escaped her, drawing a deep rumble from her captor and the tickle of long hair brushed along her shoulder.
“I have waited for so long to do this…” Her eyes widened. Alarm bells went off in her head as she struggled to break free. It was almost as though her body were being carried through a vast ocean and there was little control as to where it took her. Cool air brushed along her skin as the presence held her steady, patiently soothing her until it was time to let go. She closed her eyes, unsure if she had fallen asleep at some point. That is, until she heard her name Being called. When she opened her eyes, she found herself in a barack, standing in a puddle full of water and looking up at a tall silver haired man wrapped in a towel. His eyes were wide as he was tense. Her body wasn’t sure how to react to him beyond moving to leap and press her lips to his. He reacted in kind, swinging her onto his cot. His fingers traced along her thigh, hooking beneath the lace band of her panties as she held him close, unwilling to let him go. He pulled away, looking into her eyes for a few moments, a thousand questions mirrored her own. Yet he didn't know how else to address them as he felt his body press closer.
"So much for asking who the lucky girl was." Sephiroth growled, brushing his lips past hers and moving to bite into her shoulder. His tongue laved along the mark, clearing the blood from his claim. "Do you know now?" Mia whimpered in delight as a soft shudder erupted through her body.
“Let me stay.” She begged between breaths.
His eyes darkened as he pressed himself between her thighs and curled his body so as to move himself along the middle of her chest, slowly beginning his journey as he lowered himself between Mia's thighs. He wasted no time tearing away the thin barrier that separated him from his prize and Sephiroth’s eyes gleamed a bright chartreuse as a malicious smile played on his lips at the surprised yelp that escaped from Mia in that instant. Excitement brewed beneath the surface as a silent vow to take his time ticked away at his brain. He wanted to savor her. His tongue swiped along her folds, breath hot against her flesh as his fingers curled around her hips. Her red dress curled up to her belly and her ragged breaths bounced off of all four corners of the room. He’d needed this. They both did. His eyes flashed up at Mia who'dbeen gasping and twisting beneath his torment, jerking as he gently grazed his teeth along that little nerve that swelled to attention. The tast of her drove him mad, and he found himself diving deeper, wanting to hear more of her. He was completely unaware that she had other plans, unfortunately. Mia pressed her lover away, pulling him up so that he was hovering above her and moving to close the distance between the two. Their breaths intermingled and his arms wrapped around her waist as she tasted herself. Her body pressed against his while she held on to him for support. The fact that they dove into this scenario was unexpected. She more or less thought that there would be talking. Not vicious necking like a pair of horny late bloomers at a rave. She didnt even know how she got here in the first place and...her thoughts trailed off. She pulled back and quivered, drawing a breath. She did her best to gather herself before coughing and looked up, only for his lips to crash against hers once more. She felt like she was losing herself to the moment as they melded back onto the cot. His teeth grazed her neck and shoulders and his fingers caressed every part of her body.
"Seph..." Mia gasped. She was trying to compose herself. "Sephiroth wait we..." She was cut off again. This time not from him, but from the entire world fading into the abyss as the thick black fog from before consumed her once again before his very eyes. She reached for him and he tried to catch her in a panic. Her heart beat in her chest and a pleading look mirrored his. She didn't want to go.
His lips were still covered in her violet lip gloss. Her perfume still lingered where she’d lain. She was real….She was real…right? A sharp pang went through his chest. He could remember her warmth. Mia’s taste still lingered on his tongue. He looked at his cot and saw remnants of her undergarments. So no. He couldn’t have been going mad. He pleaded to himself, begging some part of his brain for it not to have been a dream.
Mia’s loud blood curdling shriek broke through the entire house as she banged at the glass of the mirror. She clawed at the flat surface begging pleading to be sent back. Her eyes were wide with rage and she recalled the feeling of his damp hair creating a curtain around them. Sephiroth’s weight against her body and her begging to let her stay. She could feel another set of eyes watching her as she banged against the mirror. Not in malice, but in sorrow this time as she sobbed against the mirror. As though this was not something he’d planned. She looked down at her wrinkled dress and clutched the edges. The window had long since closed and she could hear Leah calling her name as her sobs slowly reduced to soft and mournful cries. She had no energy to clean herself up. Though to some, it would make her look like some kind of drama queen, she would resign to falling asleep in her smeared makeup and red dress, just to prove to herself that what she experienced was real. That he was never fiction. Then maybe…just maybe, she could put the delusion to rest.
Mia wasn’t sure when she’d fallen asleep. All she’d really known was that the sun had burnt her eyes when she heard the soft hum coming from her closet. Sephiroth was looking over a briefing with a cup of coffee in hand. His eyes were focused and his brows were knit together while he pressed the rim of the mug to his lips. His trenchcoat flowed with his movements as he slowly paced back and forth. An untouched bagel rested at the side of his desk and she tilted her head.Does he ever take the time to eat? Mia thought to herself. She pondered how long the window’d been open but never bothered to ask.Her eyes followed him for a long while before toddling over to the mirror and slid against the glass. Her head was still pounding and her stomach twisted for reasons unknown. Her eyes slowly blinked as she continued to watch him. He glanced in her direction for a brief moment as if to say good morning before going back to studying the file in hand. .
“It feels like I had a party with a bunch of squirrels last night.” She groaned.Seph gave her a small laugh.
“You’re telling me.” He began.. “When I woke up this morning, there was this lingering scent of perfume. I think my troops are trying to pull a pra-” There was a brief pause as though he wanted to say something lewd, yet firmly held his tongue. “So it was real…” he breathed. Mia slowly turned her gaze up as several papers fell to the floor. She wondered what he was looking at and then looked down at the ensemble she’d fallen asleep in. Her eyes traveled over to the vanity and took notice of the smeared makeup. Hickeys peppered her from her neck and down to her breast and crinkled dress. The bottoms of her breasts were slightly exposed. Her stockings were riddled with holes. Memories of him softly grinding between her legs caused her belly to clench. She remembered that he was only wearing a towel around his waist and that his hair was damp. Her voice was rough and the memories of her screaming and wailing as she banged her fist against her mirror echoed in her brain. “Y-yeah.” she croaked.
Let me stay. Mia remembered herself pleading. She felt her entire body flush as her mind raked through all of the possible questions that needed to be answered. How did she end up on the other side of the mirror? If it were possible in the first place, why couldn’t he be there with her? She rose to retrieve a makeup removal wipe from her cosmetics drawer. It would only take a few moments before the smudges of the night before were gone. She could feel Sephiroth’s eyes watching her every move as she made her way back to the mirror, sitting before him as she sat cross legged before him. His brow rose and his arms folded. The corner of his mouth quirked. He crouched low, tilting his head. A predatory expression loomed on his face as though he were some kind of leopard, eager to pounce. His bright green eyes seemed almost calm had it not been for what he’d been seeing in that moment.
“Are you sure you want to sit like that?” Sephiroth purred, licking the back of his teeth. Mia couldn’t fathom what he could’ve possibly been talking about until he nodded to the large gap in what used to be her lacey black panties. It took her a moment to process until she slowly closed her legs and wrapped her arm over her belly. She could see the good officer press his fingers against the glass with ease. His knees now rested on the ground as if to move as close as he possibly could to her.
“And you called me the pervert.” Mia mumbled beneath her breath, averting her eyes as if to hide a dirty secret that only her expressions could reveal.
“Look at me when speaking, Starling.” Sephiroth commanded. His voice was low this time. “Repeat to me what you said, just now.” Her voice quivered and her body quaked, visible enough for him to see as an overwhelming sense of vulnerability claimed her. Mia rubbed her legs together as tension began to build and her eyes met his. For a moment, it nearly felt as though he were reaching forward and taking her by the chin. She closed her eyes for a brief moment and opened them as the tickle of hair fell over her shoulders. There he was, leaning over her on his hands and knees. His eyes were no longer predatory but widened as she breathed in his scent. She reached up to touch his chest, sliding along the leather straps and beneath his trench coat with intrigue. His hand reached for her wrist and firmly squeezed as if to warn her what would happen if she continued. It wasn’t painful, not in the least. Rather, she laid beneath him, pulling Sephiroth toward her in invitation as her fingers curled around the back of his neck. And soon the predatory smile he had with her earlier came back in full force. He dipped down, claiming her lips, releasing her wrist and pulling her by the waist so as not to free her of him. She spread herself out more and made quick work of unfastening his belts and bracers, grinding against him to coax him further.
“Sephiroth?” Called a voice. The two immediately stopped in their passions as heavy footfalls echoed through the chamber. Sephiroth and Mia sat upright and straightened themselves to see who’d entered the General’s barack. A man with a red trench coat and black pauldrons strode in with heavy lidded eyes. His lips were pursed into a thin line and he seemed to be looking around as he sat down on the rolling chair of his Generals desk. As Mia watched, Sephiroth’s fingers tickled along her lower back and his hair fell over her like a curtain. His trench coat was completely unfastened and his voice sunk into a low groan as he spoke softly into her ear.
“We were busy, Mia.” Mia yelped in surprise when a single digit prodded at her entrance. His other hand held her fast by the belly as tender kisses were peppered along her shoulder. She spread her thighs further for him as he stroked along her passage, adding a second finger as she squirmed and bucked beneath him. Her voice echoed throughout the room in sheer and utter bliss. The man above her couldn’t help but laugh as he gazed down at her with playful reprisal. He slowed his strokes, tormenting and teasing her as he slowly added a third finger to his ministrations, licking his lips as she pleaded for him to continue. It was adorable how she thought he was going to stop. His fun was only getting started. He slowly pressed further into her passage and repeated his strokes a few more times before bringing his attention to the small bud just before the passage. A cruel smile appeared right then and there. He could continue to torment her…or….
He recalled all of the times when she was playing with herself and she thought she was alone. The times where he would watch her and cry out his name in their year apart. As though he wouldn’t know about her secret hide away places. He knew everything. Oftentimes, when he was waiting in a transport vehicle he would need to cross his legs next to Genesis or Angeal just to hide his frustrations from seeing her with a vibrator and some artificial cock between her thighs. And she would be crying out for him while doing it. During those days he would feel his throat go dry and the heat rush to his cheeks. All because he couldn’t do anything. But now he could. And as he rose to his feet he went to her drawer and pulled out the toy that would grab her attention the most. He studied it’s contents closely, raising his brow as he drew his thumb over the smooth surface of the piece. It’s base reminded him of one of those tentacles on the creatures he’d often encountered in the mountains, and yet he found himself enamored with the numerous functions presented to him each time he clicked the button. He’d never really considered the concept of toys in the past. In truth the idea never particularly caught his attention. However, in this moment, as he struck a particular pulse setting, he couldn’t help but raise a brow. From what he could feel when his fingers were inside of her, she’d been well lubricated and he knew that if he proceeded the way he was planning there would be no going back for either of them.
He watched as she moved to a sitting position and immediately strode behind her and fell to his knees. Mia took notice that one of his gloves had been on the floor, only to have her face cupped by his free hand so she could look at the mirror. The window, it seemed, had closed for a brief moment. She could see everything as he nudged both of her legs to open further. Mia’s eyes met his as he studied her closely, apprehension continued to build as his fingers brushed along her body. As though he were silently worshiping her for a brief moment. She closed her eyes and tilted her head back for him, gasping the moment the vibrators sensations met her folds. She wanted so terribly to close her legs, yet his free hand only held them open, sliding over her belly and her breasts. He guided both of her arms to reach back and hold onto him so not to fall forward. The feeling of teeth sinking into her shoulder sent her into cries of pain and ecstasy.
“Look at the mirror, starling.” He growled. “Look at the mirror, or I stop and our fun is over.” The way his voice rumbled in his chest made the hair rise on the back of her neck. His orders were clear and she bit her lower lip as she slowly opened her eyes. The vibrator was firmly pressed against her. His length had just barely penetrated her and the heat had only begun to rise between the two. His breaches had just barely sunken below his knees, while the leather trench he wore acted as a protective blanket around her. She studied every part of him as she did as she was told, not realizing the building frustration that she was inducing. She leaned further against his body and looked up at him, drawing her tongue along his neck in affection before nipping at his jaw. His pleased smile was short-lived. As the moment it faded he proceeded to thrust himself as deep and hard as he possibly could. Continuing the cycle as she cried for him. Praising her, stroking every part of her body as she begged for more of him. Unaware that the window had opened once more. All he could hear were voices. People who were possibly looking for him as Mia fell forward and he lost himself to her, flipping her over so he could see the adoration and pleasure on her face. He wanted this. He stayed alive for this. He pulled her legs up and folded her into a mating press, thrusting harder and faster. Stimulating her deeper as she whimpered beneath him and pulled him closer to her, claiming his lips in earnest. He took her in with each thrust as their tongues intertwined, battling for dominance as he braced himself over her.
“JUST WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT SON OF A BITCH?!” Someone shrieked. The scream made the two of them jump and Sephiroth shuddered in recognition. His body tensed as he looked up, and immediately stopped Mia from glancing up. He quickly moved away and fastened himself, fixing his hair, reaching for anything that would keep him inconspicuous. When Mia moved with him and began to turn he stopped her once more.
“You don't have to.”
Another cry of displeasure resounded from the mirror.
“I must.” He choked.
“You can stay.” Her hand moved to tighten around his and he couldn't help but take her in. Not because of the fact that they’d practically had sex and were in a pre-euphoric state, but simply because she wanted him as he was. A loud crash echoed from the halls beyond his barrack.
Panic set in. The man who shrieked was not one he wanted to go anywhere near her. And he knew that if Mia asked if she could come, he would figure out a way to bring her with him.
“You know I can't.”
There was a pained expression that reflected his own. He knew what was going to come next. His silly, stupid and crazy girl would open her mouth and beg to go with him to a man who would pluck her apart in an instant and subject her to unethical experimentations. If she survived, her mind would never recover. If she didn't, he would have to go into a ditch to search for her body. Neither possibilities were things he wanted to see come to fruition.
The further Hojo stayed away from her, the better.
However, he was a weak man. If she begged him to take her now, he would never be able to leave her. Therefore, before she could utter another word-he pressed his lips to hers. His hand kept a firm hold of her waist as he soon lifted himself from her, saddened eyes whispered silent pleas and apologies as Sephiroth faded into the abyss.
He crashed into several cleaning utensils and well sealed chemicals. It seemed that for some reason this newfound ability of his was heavily tied to emotion and desire. Yet he pondered whether or not he could return on a whim. He sighed and touched his temple, checking for bruises and feeling several strands of his hair. Several seconds passed before he realized that something on him was missing. A vital part of his uniform that one would deem as important, and yet…he chuckled. And yet…his imagination did not stray from the possibilities of what she would do with that tiny bit of leather he’d left behind. Good god he hoped she would make proper use of the thing. If not, he would be sorely disappointed.
It took a moment before he properly adjusted himself and slowly walked out of the utility closet, making his way down the corridor to find a decrepit old man with dark hair waiting for him. The old man's beady eyes were severe as they peered up at him through circular lenses. The rest of the old man's uniform was mostly unkempt as his mouth remained upturned, dissatisfied at his test subjects' lack of punctuality. Sephiroth’s face remained placid as his hands remained firmly at his side, counting the seconds as this little man still seemed ten feet tall to him. Doctor Hojo could potentially drag him back to the lab if he so desired. Or worse, pick a man from his platoon to test on, since Sephiroth had been so bold as to be away for so long. A young man stood in the corner, fidgeting in place as he jostled from one side to the other.
“Is this a new recruit?” Sephiroth asked. His voice was cool and collected, completely void of any intrigue or emotion. The perfect product of Shinra as Hojo would want. That was all Hojo wanted.
Sephiroth tucked his arms behind his back and squared his shoulders. He was obviously putting on an air of authority as his eyes trailed around the room and landed on Genesis, who’d been sitting at his desk. His eyes were trained on his mirror for a brief moment as they then moved over to him. They looked to his ungloved hand and squinted as he clenched it for a moment and pointed at him. As if to say, Not a fucking word. Genesis curled the corner of his mouth and rolled the corner of his shoulder in a subtle shrug. His eyes were trained on the situation despite the knowing glance he kept in the corner of his eye. Sephiroth knew that once the two were alone, there would be an eager conversation. He prayed that Angeal, another first class, would intercept at some point.
“Yes,” Hojo said lowly. “And I would like very much for Lazard to arrive as soon as possible, so that I may return to my work post haste. Either him or that Heidegger head of security bastard…” Seph did his best to maintain the eyeroll that threatened to come to the surface. Fearing that it may just cause him issues in the long term as-his thoughts were interrupted as a gruff voice called from around the corner.
“Apologies for the late arrival.” A man with blue eyes and stubble on his skin in the standard Shinra first class uniform entered the fray. His muscular frame resembled that of someone of a more spartan like stature with a more sun kissed appearance. His dark hair was split down the middle. Another man, much smaller in stature with a well fitted suit followed closely behind him. His gloved hands held a file tightly to his chest. Hojo sneered as he bore his teeth to the two for their lack of punctuality. And a sense of sick satisfaction washed over his test subject at the scientists displeasure. The much younger individual in the room seemed to know him. No doubt a student of his. Sephiroth straightened and the other man gave him a look, noting the missing glove. Seph subtly shrugged and continued to stand at attention until the briefing was over.

Chapter 2
“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.” - Arnold Schwarzenegger
It had been two years since her arrival in this new world and Ava had come to enjoy being part of the Strife family. Ava enjoyed following Cloud around to ensure he didn't get into too much trouble in exchange she began to teach him how to use a sword and mentor him in the importance of knowing your weapons.
“Hey sis… what would you do if I told you I wanna join SOLDIER?” Cloud had asked her during one of their sparring sessions.
Ava blinked as she sheathed her sword, replying back,” I would say go for it, however, what's the catch? Cause I am pretty sure it involves you trekking off into a different place.”
“I would have to join Shinra in order to do so,” Cloud replied quietly as he sat down under a tree.
Ava walked over to him, sitting down next to him, leaning against the tree allowing her hat to be pressed forward to cover her eyes a bit as she spoke softly,” Is this because of what happened with that Lockhart girl?”
She watched as Cloud looked downward, that was all Ava needed to know before she continued,” Cloud, look at me.” He looked up so his eyes were locked with hers,” You are not at fault for it. Do you understand me? She chose to go up that mountain. You did not force her up there and you tried to save her,” Ava paused for a brief moment, as she once more continued,” If anything it's her old man's fault for not watching his daughter better.”
“Her mom passed away though sis,” Cloud replied as he looked down at the ground before Ava reached over and gently flicked him in the forehead as she spoke sternly, “I understand that, but her and her father should have been there for each other rather than let the other become self destructive.”
As Ava placed her arms behind her head, leaning back into them, letting out a soft huff when Cloud shifted himself to flop his head onto Ava's stomach as he spoke again,” Hey sis. Will you go with me?”
“To Shinra?” Ava asked with a playful huff.
Cloud looked up into her eyes as he replied,” Yeah. I wanna join SOLDIER for myself and so I can help others, but I would like you to be there with me.”
Ava smiled a bit as she responded,” Alright, kiddo. I'll go with you. When do you want to go?”
“Hmm…. How about in three days?” Cloud replied, causing Ava to raise an eyebrow as she asked,” Did you talk to your mom about it?”
Cloud pressed his lips together tightly, which was the answer Ava needed as she continued,” Talk to your mom and we will go from there, little bro.”
“Alright! Let's go home so I can talk to mom!” Cloud replied as he got to his feet quickly and with excitement brightly showing in his eyes.
Ava laughed as she slowly got to her feet, making sure her guns were still in their holsters and gripped her sword in hand as she followed Cloud back to their house. However, just as they reached the door, a male voice called out,
“Ava! Can I get you to help me out?” A male voice called out causing her to turn to see who it was. Ava let out a huff, as she signaled Cloud inside while she walked over to the Orphius, a materia dealer that would visit Nibelheim from time to time. Ava walked over to the elderly man, his green eyes bright with eagerness.
“What can I help you with, Orphius?” Ava asked with a hum as she watched the gray haired man riffle through his large brown bag.
“Here I want you to try and use this Materia and level it up!” He exclaimed as he pulled out a deep red sphere and held it out for Ava to take.
Ava tilted her head as she took it from him, looking back at him, she said with a slight frown,” I probably ain't the best person to give this too. I don’t have an inkling on how to use it nor do I have anywhere to safely store it.”
Orphius let out a laugh as he pointed to one of her black M1911 styled handguns, blinking as she pulled out one and upon the bottom half of her gun were two circular grooves that seemed to have something placed in them. It was a modification that was done to her weapons upon her entering the realm she now called home, as a result she couldn’t figure out why they were even made until now. Ava glanced at Orphius, who was grinning like a cat that ate the canary, “Well equip it, young warrior.”
Ava simply nodded her head as she placed the red sphere into the slot nearest to the front of her barrel, however, just as she said,” Alright. Now what?” Looking up she noticed that the old man was gone.
“What in the he-”
“Sis! Come inside, Mom wants to talk to us!” Cloud called from the front door.
Ava blinked once more in confusion before returning her gun to it's holster and headed into the house where Cloud was standing next to Claudia, who was wringing her hands nervously, causing Ava to frown.
“Cloud told me he wanted to join SOLDIER and said you would go with him,” Claudia began pausing for brief moment before continuing,” I am sure you know how uncomfortable I am with that since he is so young, however, I made a promise with that if he waits till he is fourteen I'll let him go.”
“That sounds fair to me. It will also allow me a chance to up his training and get a feel for this company,” Ava replied as she looked at Cloud who was jumping up and down in excitement, causing Ava to huff as she replied,” Alright then I suppose we can start upping your training tomorrow.”
“YES!” Cloud exclaimed as he hugged his mother and then Ava, who let out a laugh as she returned his hug before releasing him.
From then on over the next four years, Ava continued to train Cloud in swordsmanship while also trying to figure out how to use the Materia of the world. It was during Cloud's thirteenth birthday when she began to hear a soft yet stern voice speak to her,
Goddess of Balance. Come to me and find your strength.
Ava instantly stilled, her eyes shifted around the treeline looking for the owner of the voice. Her body language didn't go unnoticed by Cloud as he asked her worriedly,” Sis? What's wrong?”
Ava returned her attention back to Cloud, opening her mouth to speak to him about what was going on when the voice spoke again.
Goddess of Balance. Find your strength and accept me. For I will be your shield and guide.
“What the fuck is going on?” Ava muttered with utter disbelief as she looked back and forth.
“Sis? What's wrong?” Cloud asked again as he approached her.
Ava was confused as she looked at Cloud asking,” You don't hear anyone talking?”
Cloud shook his head, as Ava pulled out her gun that housed the red Materia that Orphius gave, when Cloud exclaimed with excitement,” Wow! You got a summon Materia! Those are rare!”
“Summon Materia?” Ava parrorted as she looked down at the deep red sphere.
Call thine name and I'll heed your call. For I am Alexander!
Ava muttered out,” Alexander?”
It was then the materia began to glow red, followed by a flash of white shooting up from the Materia and a portal opened allowing a large white and golden tower esk being to emerge.
“WOW!” Cloud exclaimed happily while Ava looked on in utter disbelief as she repeated her phrase once more,” What the fuck!?”
Her world had once again turned upside down and the strength she thought she knew was becoming more blurred than anything. She worried for her future and Cloud's future if anyone knew about this.
(Hello! I hope you all enjoyed chapter two! I am sorry for another time skip, but I kept finding conflicting stuff on when Cloud went to go to Shinra. Some sources said 7 while other said 14 or even 13. I decided 14. I will try and keep this somewhat close to the timeline however I might make certain things extend longer so the timeline might change a bit. I still hope you all enjoy this chapter!)

Anomaly
Anomaly; noun: something that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected.
While her older brother Zack rises in the ranks of SOLDIER, Dalia Fair is one of the biggest Idol’s Midgar has ever seen! All seems well for the siblings, till the Whispers appear and try to kill Dalia. Now brother and sister must unrevail ShinRa’s dark secrets and why Dalia is an anomaly in the eyes of the spectral beings.
Or:
Zack has a younger sister whom the Whispers want to get rid of because they must protect the sacred canon.
Spoiler Alert: Dalia won't let herself get killed or erased by the spooky grim reapers wannabe!
Also, canon who, it's her show now!
I made Dalia's wardrobe, take a look.
Also I want to say if I mess up Genesis please don’t be too mean to me, I do not really get Loveless, I think I’m too stupid to interpret it right *drop*
I tried my best, but if I can improve please tell me.
Now on with the story.
!!!!PLEASE READ AND REVIEW!!!
Chapter 4: Searching for answers
The Fair Siblings walked in silence for a while, lost in their own thoughts. As they made their way back to their apartment, Dalia couldn't help but think about Cloud and the strange events that had brought them together. She wondered if they would ever find out the truth behind the Whispers and what destiny had in store for them.
Zack seemed to sense her unease and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"We'll figure this out," he said reassuringly. "We always do."
Dalia nodded, feeling grateful for her brother's support. She knew that they were in this together and that no matter what happened, they would face it as a team.
As they reached their apartment complex, Dalia felt a sense of relief wash over her.
They were home, safe from the dangers of the outside world - at least for now. She looked up at Zack and smiled gratefully.
"Thanks for having my back."
"Always," he replied before ruffling her hair playfully. "Now let's get some rest and we'll start working on our plan tomorrow."
She nodded eagerly, feeling more hopeful than she had before.
With Zack by her side and a plan in place, she knew that they could overcome any obstacle - even destiny itself.
***
Meanwhile on the SOLDIER floor of the ShinRa building one Angeal Hewley rubbed tired his eyes.
He was still in his office, researching on his computer.
What Zack and little Dalia told him, worried him endlessly, even if he didn’t show the kids when they had visited him.
Dalia being hunted down by the Whispers, the legendary beings who protected faith's course and eliminated any obstacle which diverged it, scarred him.
He was scared for little Dalia. She still was only 14, barely had left her childhood behind, and wasn't a fighter.
Angeal knew his protege Zack would do anything to protect his sister, but he couldn’t be around her anytime.
What if the Whispers attacked her while she was performing as the Idol Rosethrone and Zack was with him away on a mission?
No, he didn’t want to think about that. The thought alone was chilling.
So after work, he stayed in his office and searched the Database of ShinRa for anything about the Whispers.
There wasn’t much which he didn’t know and the rest was classified.
What should he do?
Angeal leaned back in his chair and let out a deep sigh.
He had to do something to help her.
Anything.
Not only for her but also for Zack.
The SOLDIER First Rang didn’t want to imagine how his protege would react if something happened to his sister.
Suddenly, an idea struck him.
He quickly typed a message on his computer and sent it to his childhood friend Genesis Rhapsodos.
Genesis was known for his extensive knowledge of ancient legends and myths, and Angeal hoped that he could shed some light on the Whispers.
As he waited for a reply, Angeal couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He had always been one to follow orders and stay within the confines of ShinRa's rules, yet this situation was different.
He knew that if he didn't act soon, Dalia could be in grave danger.
Just then, his computer beeped with an incoming message from Genesis.
I’m on my way, old friend.
Huh, Genesis is still in the building too?
Angeal thought he already had gone home.
His office door opened and not only Genesis but also Sephiroth walked in.
“That’s a surprise.”, said Angeal, looking at his two friends. “I thought only you would come Genesis.”
“Sephiroth read rudely over my shoulder, when I got your message.”, explained the red-haired SOLDIER First with a huff.
The black-haired haired fought off a grin as he saw how Sephiroth rolled his eyes.
“I didn’t think helping our friend was something classified.”, rebuked the Silver General dry as the dessert.
“Pride is lost, Wings stripped away, the end is nigh.”, counter Genesis with a Loveless quote.
“Alright, alright you two, calm down.”, told them Angeal. “I assume you both being here means you know something about the Whispers?”
He looked at his two friends, hoping they had some information that could help Dalia. Genesis took a seat on the couch while Sephiroth leaned against the wall, arms crossed.
"We know a little," Genesis began, "The Whispers are ancient beings that have existed since the beginning of time. They protect the course of destiny and eliminate anything that threatens it."
Sephiroth nodded in agreement. "They have been known to intervene in major events throughout history, ensuring that things go according to plan."
Angeal listened intently, feeling a sense of dread wash over him.
"But why are they after Dalia? What does she have to do with destiny?" he asked.
The Crimson Commander shrugged. "That's unclear, but it's possible that her role as Rosethrone has something to do with it. The Whispers may see her as an obstacle or a threat to their plans."
Angeal sighed heavily, feeling more worried than ever before. "So what can we do?"
Sephiroth spoke up this time. "We need more information about their motives and their methods of operation. We also need to find out if there's any way to stop them."
Angeal nodded slowly, feeling a glimmer of hope at Sephiroth's words. With his two closest friends by his side and a plan forming in his mind, he knew they could protect Dalia from whatever fate had in store.
“Well we could start here.”, said Angeal feeling a bit unwell. This was directly going against ShinRa's orders. It didn’t make him feel good. “There is some classified information ShinRa has on the Whispers, but I don’t have the clearing for them. Maybe one of you...?”
Both his friends walked over, to read what was written on his computer.
Suddenly Sephiroth growled: “That Security Seal...that’s the one from the Science Department.”
He didn’t need to say more.
Genesis and Angeal made a face.
So Hojo had some information on the Whispers.
Of course, it would be the obsessed scientist who would have the answer for them.
Angeal's stomach churned at the thought of involving Hojo in this. He knew firsthand how twisted and dangerous the man could be. But if it meant protecting Dalia, he was willing to take the risk.
"Can we trust him?", Angeal asked, his voice laced with concern.
Genesis scoffed. "Of course not, but desperate times call for desperate measures."
Sephiroth nodded in agreement before turning to Angeal. "We'll go see him tomorrow and see what he knows."
Angeal nodded reluctantly, knowing that they didn't have much time to waste.
The Whispers were closing in on Dalia and they needed all the information they could get to protect her.
With a heavy heart, Angeal closed his computer and stood up from his desk.
They had a long day ahead of them tomorrow, but for now, he just wanted to go home and rest - if he could sleep at all with the weight of their mission bearing down on him.
***
Once upon a time, she didn’t mind showing her face but after all things that happened...
She was thankful for the long black coat with the hood Elmyra had made for her.
The hood over her head gave her a sense of security, something she hadn’t experienced anymore since Zack...since Zack's disappearance.
Dalia walked the street of the Slums of Sector 5 in the direction of a special church.
Aerith forgot time again.
She would collect her sister-in-law and then they could go home to Elmyra.
Suddenly she felt a chill down her spine.
She knew what this meant.
Dramatically Dalia reached for her bow and an arrow.
A Whisper was before her, she shot at the apparition with precision and it vanished.
“Better luck next time, asshole.”, she spat.
Was it sad that she learned to live with the Whispers who followed her every step?
She couldn't help but feel a sense of anger and frustration towards these beings that seemed to be constantly after her.
It was exhausting to always be on guard and ready to fight at any moment.
As she approached the church, she saw Aerith waiting for her outside.
The two sisters-in-law embraced each other tightly, grateful for each other's company in this dangerous world.
"I'm sorry I'm late," Aerith said apologetically. "I lost track of time again."
Dalia smiled, feeling a sense of calm wash over her in Aerith's presence.
"It's okay," she reassured her sister-in-law. "I just had a run-in with a Whisper on my way here."
Aerith's face fell with worry. "Are you okay?"
Dalia nodded, patting the bow and quivering on her back for emphasis. "I'm fine, thanks to the arrows you blessed.”
The brunette woman nodded in agreement before both women jumped into the air.
Something had crashed through the roof of the church!
“Aerith, stay behind me!”, commande Dalia, getting bow and arrow ready.
Together they walked into the church, ready for anything.
Well almost.
The black-haired woman didn’t expect to see HIM in Aerith's flower field!
“CLOUD!”, shouted Dalia and raced over to him.
“You know him?!”, wonder Aerith, still not coming near.
Dalia kneeled over the knocked-out blond man and cried openly.
Five years...
Five years it had been since she last saw him!
When he got with Zack to this mission neither of them returned from.
And now he was here!
She gently caressed his cheek, her tears falling on his face.
“Is this the Cloud you talked about, Lia?”, wondered Aerith, walking up to them. “The one who was your love and was with Zack on this damned mission he is still missing from?”
Not sure she could talk, Dalia nodded at her sister-in-law.
A gasp left Aerith's mouth.
“Do you think...”
“That he must know where Zack is? I bet! They both have to explain some things.”
It’s then that Dalia noted how the man under her hands started to wake up.
“Cloud.”, she whispered softly.
His eyes opened slowly and the black-haired woman had nearly a heart attack.
Mako eyes!
But Cloud wasn’t a SOLDIER!
Come to think of it, why was he dressed as one?
Cloud was now fully awake.
What Dalia saw in his eyes scared her.
No recognition whatsoever.
How was that possible?
“Cloud?”
“Who are you?”, he said, which broke Dalia's heart in a million pieces. “How do you know my name?”
***
Confused Dalia sat up on her bed and rubbed her face.
There were tears flowing down her cheeks.
What a strange dream she had!
Who was this Aerith?
Since when was Dalia good at archery?
Why did Cloud not recognize her?
Why did her brain make her dream such nonsense?
Argh, it was frustrating!
Dalia shook her head, trying to clear the remnants of the dream from her mind.
It had felt so real, but she knew it was all just a figment of her imagination. She glanced at the clock on her nightstand and groaned - it was still early in the morning. She tried to go back to sleep, but her mind kept wandering back to the dream.
She couldn't help but wonder what it all meant.
Was it some sort of sign or premonition?
Or was it just her mind playing tricks on her?
Dalia sighed heavily, feeling more confused than ever before.
As she lay there in bed, lost in thought, she heard a knock on her door.
"Dalia? Are you awake?"
It was Zack's voice.
She quickly wiped away her tears and called out, "Yeah, I'm up."
Her brother walked into the room and sat down on the edge of her bed.
"You okay?" he asked, concern etched on his face.
The younger Fair nodded slowly. "Yeah, just had a weird dream."
"Want to talk about it?"
She hesitated for a moment before deciding to tell him about the dream.
As she spoke, Zack listened intently and when she finished he looked thoughtful.
"Hmm," he said after a moment's pause. "Maybe it means something."
Dalia rolled her eyes playfully. "Or maybe it's just my brain being weird."
Zack chuckled softly before standing up from the bed. "Well, either way, we've got work to do today."
The girl nodded eagerly, grateful for the distraction from her strange dream.
***
Angeal, Genesis and Sephiroth stand before the door of the science department.
You could clearly see in their faces that neither wanted to go in and talk with Hojo about the Whispers.
“My friend, do you fly away now?”, asked Genesis.
“No, someone has to go to Hojo. Zack is my pupil, Dalia his sister, I should enter.”, said Angeal.
That’s when Sephiroth raised a hand.
“I should talk to the man.”, he reminded his friends. “I know him better than you both, I will detect if he is lying or hiding something from me.”
“Sephiroth I can’t possibly ask you to do this.”
“What are friends for?”
The silver-haired man gave Angeal a tiny smile, which warmed his heart.
He was glad to have such a good friend in Sephiroth.
“What are going to tell the slimeball.”, asked Genesis in curiosity.
Sephiroth nearly spat: “I will tell him I had encounters with the Whispers, I won’t tell him anything about the Fair siblings, they don’t need to attract Hojo's interest. Hojo will surely tell me something since his most precious specimen is in danger.”
Both Angeal and Genesis looked worried for their friend, even if Genesis would deny it.
“I hate it when you talk like that about yourself.”, signed Angeal.
The Silver General just waved a hand and entered the room, while Angeal and Genesis waited for him.
As Sephiroth entered the room, he couldn't help but feel a sense of disgust wash over him. The smell of chemicals and decay filled his nostrils, making him want to gag.
He saw Hojo sitting at his desk, surrounded by vials and test tubes. The man looked up as Sephiroth approached him, a smug grin on his face.
"Well, well, if it isn't my favourite experiment," Hojo said in a sickeningly sweet voice. "What brings you here today?"
Sephiroth fought to keep his composure as he spoke. "I've had some encounters with the Whispers recently and I was wondering if you knew anything about them."
Hojo's expression turned serious at the mention of the Whispers.
"What do you know about them?" he asked sharply.
The silver-haired man narrowed his eyes, sensing that the creepy scientist knew more than he was letting on.
"Not much," he replied calmly. "But I thought you might have some information that could be useful."
Hojo hesitated for a moment before reaching for a file on his desk. He handed it to Sephiroth with a warning look in his eye.
"This is classified information," he said sternly. "You better not let anyone else see it."
The SOLDIER First nodded curtly before turning to leave the room.
As he walked out, he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something off about Hojo's behaviour and that never was something good.

“You were never purely Jenova, you were born from the blood of the Ancients. You are Cetra but having been touched by Jenova, you were meant to unify us and bring us closer to the Promised Land. Except now you are a taint, a failure.” - Professor Hojo, explaining Seraphine's curious heritage.
Seraphine's background has shaped her, perhaps for the worse, or maybe even for the better, depending on how you accept the information upon her. Born before Aerith and her mother were captured, there was another Cetra discovered who would resist being captured which resulted in her death and being harvested. What was recovered was implanted into another woman and Sera was a surrogate baby, this woman only being known as “mother.” The father has yet to be identified but it is not Hojo, as Sera was meant to build a stronger bloodline with Sephiroth and as he was Hojo's child, he did not want a tainted bloodline from siblings. Though half Cetra and half human, in the womb she was given Jenova cells in hopes of combining both of the “perfect” bloodlines to create something to match Sephiroth. For some time they were simply raised, and though a bit older than her, he regarded her as his sister and she felt that he was her brother. He was the only one who knew and understood what the experiments were like and as a result they were very close.
It was later discovered however that Aerith's mother was the final Cetra, alive and with a child, which would result in Aerith and Ilfana to be pursued. When they were captured and brought in, it was a curious thing for Sera to know there was another like herself. But that was quickly dashed as in this time she was secluded from the others, who were also separated from one another.
Eventually Aerith and her mother broke out which caused them to be ever closer of keeping Sera within their reach. As a budding teenager she felt very alone, especially as Sephiroth was out more training and becoming a proper Soldier. Tseng eventually played a pivotal role in her life as someone she was close to and would consider like a sibling, and as another few years passed she was eventually assigned to Reno and Rude, and being relatively close in age meant that Reno and Sera got along quite well.
Things for the most part were quite tame and the times in which Sephiroth was around meant that she met Angeal, Genesis and eventually Zack who she would regard all with close regard. They were kind to her and since they all had gone through their own experiments at the hands of the scientists, they understood what it was like to be at the hands of another. During this time she also grew close to the President's son who was involved with Shinra's work, and for a time Rufus was sweet on Sera who would consider him a childhood crush.
Things were fine until the Nibelheim incident and after all of their death's, she would have considered herself totally alone. When Sephiroth died she “lost her purpose” (really she didn’t enjoy the thought anyway) and has since been adrift in life and constantly breaking out to live with the people she had dreamed of being around. She was put on the back burner entirely, especially after the Jenova cells started to show just how degenerative they actually are.
During this time Aerith was being monitored and Sera was kept under close watch of Rude and Reno, whom she is very close to after Tseng assigned them to her charge. After some time and through the years Reno found himself in love with her and she shared those feelings, albeit neither had ever actually made a proper move even after all of this time. Unfortunately due to Jenova's genes being degenerative and having been experimented upon, she often hears voices that taunt her. They start like whispers and nowadays it takes on the voice and shape of Sephiroth, sometimes even Genesis or Angeal depending on the cells, and it haunts her, and the things Sephiroth suggests are often violent in nature. Because of her Cetra heritage however she’s able to resist it more, but often at times she is able to resist killing like Jenova wants, but as a trade off she can’t hear the planet, nor use Holy like regular Cetra can. As a result she is often disconnected and the only thing that helps drown out the whispers is music or drinking, and often getting lost in the crowds helps her feel safe.
Aside from these few things it's Reno who helps ground her as well, perhaps because of her love for him is stronger than the connection that she has to Jenova. He is safety for her and has been for a long time.
Eventually time passes and she finds herself with Cloud and crew, and after being closer to Aerith she helps her, as it’s another Cetra connection that helps “ground” her as well. During their course together Aerith's nature helps Sera properly ignore Sephiroth and Jenova, albeit it's still taking over.
Overall she is considered a gentle and kind person. She is quiet, she smiles a lot, but she is prone to bouts of laziness and depending on how strong her connection to Jenova/Sephiroth is that day her mood changes drastically. Being Cetra she is dominantly down to earth but because of the taint of Jenova and the experiments that took place she suffers from detachment and mood swings. She seems lost in thought quite often but truly she often is just dreaming about peace. What she dreams of is no experiments, no Jenova, no Sephiroth, just being somewhere quiet and alone with those that matter.

Title: Mourning Pairing: Bianca Moore (F!OC) / Sephiroth Rating: Mature Word Count: 958 Fandom: Final Fantasy VII Setting: Redemption!AU Warnings: abuse, anxiety, blood (metaphor), childhood trauma, combat-related trauma, emotional manipulation, grief, needles (mention), psychological abuse, PTSD, self-doubt, trauma, violence Summary: As Bianca and Sephiroth are both haunted by their pasts, they find solace in each other while mourning what could have been. Squared Filled: Mourning Created for: Sephiroth Week hosted by the lovely people at @week-of-silver-winds
Author’s Note: As always, please read over my warnings, since I list the general themes, too, in case there is any content that may be uncomfortable to my reader.
As this is placed in my Redemption!AU, please note it is very canon divergent. In this AU, Sephiroth and his fellow SOLDIERs broke off from Shinra and are now fighting the good fight while he battles to control Jenova's encroaching influence.
EXCERPT:
“I used to dream of things like this,” Sephiroth said at last. “Quiet rooms, places that weren’t full of sterile walls or needles. Just… somewhere safe with you." He looked down at his hands. “But that isn’t who I am anymore.”
A late autumn night cast long shadows across their bedroom in their home that they now shared with the other former members of SOLDIER: Angeal Hewley, Genesis Rhapsodos, Kunsel, and Zack Fair.
Sephiroth sat on the edge of the bed with the mattress and the floral print bedspread sinking beneath his weight. The silence between them was the type that cut deep to the bone, causing a spike of anxiety in her which he felt through the soul-link that was always present between them. He hadn’t moved in hours, staring out the window as if the weight of his past lay somewhere outside, knocking to allow itself in.
Earlier that evening, Sephiroth had awoken from another nightmare. Memories of battles he once fought without question and missions ordered by voices from men in suits he now cursed haunted him. His hand tightened into a fist, and Bianca covered it with her own. The simple gesture from the celestial being grounded him in a way that the past often refused to allow.
“You don’t have to face it alone, Sephiroth,” she whispered, her melodic voice breaking the silence stretching between them. She had always been there: through the torture, the needles, the experiments, and the blood on his hands. He didn’t deserve her — or, at least, that was what he told himself.
She would tell him the opposite, as she always saw the good in him. She saw the man beneath the monster and beneath the SOLDIER poster boy. Bianca saw him.
He nodded before speaking. “Sometimes, Bia, I wonder if it would’ve been easier if - “
His voice trailed off as he studied Bianca. His throat tightened as he allowed himself to feel the regret he rarely allowed himself to feel. What would life have been like if she hadn’t fallen from the stars into his arms when they were children? Would Sephiroth have met on different terms, as two people who were free to choose their own lives rather than a SOLDIER and a celestial warrior bound by their scars and sorrow?
“They stole so much from us.” Her voice cracked. “Everything I was and everything you could have been . . . Just gone. Twisted by them.”
A long silence enveloped them. It was thick with words that were left unspoken but needed to be. These words lingered on the edge of consciousness, too emotionally charged for Sephiroth to say or Bianca to admit. They were the words that made one weak.
“I used to dream of things like this,” Sephiroth said at last. “Quiet rooms, places that weren’t full of sterile walls or needles. Just… somewhere safe with you.” He looked down at his hands. “But that isn’t who I am anymore.”
Bianca turned to him and gently cupped his face with her hands on his cheeks. She’d known him as both victim and SOLDIER, but she also knew the boy she once knew was still within him. No amount of Hojo’s cruelty could erase it.
“You’re still that boy, Sephiroth,” she spoke. Her indigo eyes glistened in the dimly lit light cast by the flickering candles by their bed. “No matter what they did to you, to us, that part of you isn’t gone. We just . . . have to find it. Have to find us.”
“Bianca, you know the things I’ve done. How can either of us deserve anything after that?”
Once again, they lapsed into silence. He could feel her thoughts through their bond as she searched for words, knowing that they both wore scars that no one could ever erase. But as he looked into her eyes, he realized it wasn’t about trying to find the perfect place. It was about trying to create something new and something real. Achieving this could only happen by taking one step at a time.
“Maybe, it won’t erase the past, Seph.” Her hand turned as she intertwined their fingers together. “But if we can be more than they made us, we have to believe in it. We’ve come too far together to give u on that now.”
Sephiroth looked back out at the window. His silver brow furrowed, as lines wrinkled across his forehead. Could he really hope for that dream he had been forced to forget: a peaceful life that could only exist after dismantling Shinra?
They sat like that for a while. She held his hand as they watched colored leaves float past their window in the pale moonlight. Their bond was not just forged by their mutual grief, but also by the unwavering support they found in each other and the rest of the former SOLDIERs. Knowing that the road ahead would be fraught with pain, they drew closer to each other, finding a delicate sense of tranquility in their shared sorrow for their lost innocence.

Elyse being sensitive about her height (5’3”) because she wants to be seen as capable as the rest of SOLDIER:
Random cadet: hehe you’re short.
Elyse: And you just fell short of your target; try again.
Genesis, dueling with Elyse: I didn’t know they let elves partake in Soldier combat.
Elyse: oh fUCK off, you walking red flag.
Angeal, watching Elyse try to get something from a higher shelf: you sure you don’t want me to hel-
Elyse: Nope, I got it. *proceeds to climb up the shelf and grab it, before climbing back down.*
Angeal: ….
Elyse: What?
Zack: Elyse? What are you doing up there?
Elyse, hiding the box of cookies that Angeal put on top of the fridge: … nothing-
Sephiroth: You silly, tiny mage. *picks her up from the ground with a sigh after she had just set off an explosion in a mission. (She eliminated the target, but not by his original directions).*
Elyse: that’s meeee— oh wait… I’m in trouble, aren’t I?
She wants to be taken more seriously sometimes; she tries her best. 🥺
