HELLO FMA TUMBLR

After a semi-hiatus for two years, I decided to give tumblr another chance and spread my fma oc agenda (especially Fort Briggs agenda) here again.

I have a bunch of art I‘ll post in the following weeks, so I thought these would serve as a good and quick introduction to my ocs (These here aren‘t even all of them, just the most important ones).

11. Have they ever said “I love you”? If so, when was the first time?

haha……………….. the answer is no for a LOT of my da pairings actually. i’ll just answer for the ones who have said it below:

tavian is the first to admit he’s in love with elek except he says it while he’s drunk, then denies that he said it the next morning (tbf he genuinely doesn’t remember). he does eventually say it sober just before they try to interrupt the ritual of the gods. he sends a message via candlehop and isn’t actually sure it’s been received until he makes it back to minrathous.

dinara…. also writes a letter. to lucanis. he finds it after she is gone :)

nelaros tells chaya he loves her a few months into their marriage and she actually surprises herself by reciprocating (& meaning it). they both say it fairly often after that point. even right up until they agree to get a divorce. these 2 are a little devastating to me personally bc i don’t think they ever fall out of love. it was just never going to be enough 🥲

chaya and loghain however….. they absolutely do not say anything even adjacent to those words until their wedding vows (which are really more of a promise to love one another than an admission that they already do). they figure it out, eventually. if i’m being honest though, i don’t think they actually say those words out loud until the double blight. at that point it’s the fear that they’ll miss the chance to have said it at all that gets them.

gabriel tells anders he loves him after like a 3-month period where he has increasingly upped the Romantic Gestures ante and anders continues to insist “he doesn’t mean it Like That, obviously.” (he does)

gavin says it to morrigan a few months into the situationship and morrigan does her whole “love??? wtf do you mean 😰” gambit. they’re sort of broken up for a while after that. it’s fine. morriwarden is just Like That.

daveth and salin are freaks who do everything in a completely ass backwards order so obviously they don’t tell each other “i love you” until after they’ve broken it off. it’s kind of platonic. kind of romantic. dw about it.

roshan and alistair on the other hand say “i love you” to each other platonically the first time around (<- both already in love btw) which obviously means they have to pine about it for months afterwards. good job guys 👍

solas and abra only say it after they’re broken up as well. this is much worse than what daveth and salin have going on. they really should have continued not to say it.

sander tells semra he’s in love with her like…. 2 weeks into knowing her bc he’s that kind of freak. she doesn’t actually think he’s serious about it. in thea’s worldstate it does finally click for her after he leaves the inquisition to join the valo-kas. it’s a few weeks after that when she finally says it back (<- sander cries. it’s a little pathetic...)
