ok these are Hatake kids for my founders era fic. They are kids of the current Hatake clan head Haruhi, I drew her once here. Haruhi has a twin sister Yuuka, who married to Butsuma and gave birth to all of the Senju brothers.

Here's the reference sheet if someone wants to draw them.

They are drawn in their ages when Tobirama and Itama (14 atm) will visit the Hatake clan.

SHIRO AND DAX, MY BELOVEDS!

So you've all met Shiro!

My lil' Heart's Pirates therapist half-mink. My lil' doomed-in-every-other-timeline boy who's paired with Luffy and Law, and is a few degrees of a SI like far too many of my OCs?

Well, I was re-exploring his character after a period of a dead zone in my brain and decided that just wanting to punch his dead siblings parents, and trying to find them, wasn't enough. My little stable, therapist stoat was too stable y'know, like I'd designed them to be 😏👌— so I decided they need a little shake up.

Something to upset them…

Like their dead sibling not being dead after all, and now is part of the force that killed their entire island 😈

ENTER DAX!!

…who was originally designed for an entirely different fandom and a female sibling in the original drafts, but I decided to re-purpose him. And also his second in command, too, but that's another post. As are a few other details- keeping it simple for this post 🫠

And so this is Dax!

Dax is Shiro's younger sibling, who was kidnapped by the Marine's that destroyed their home islands and fed enough propaganda as an orphan that, as a young child, he couldn't tell truth from fiction anymore. Which… really became an overwhelming theme in his story, now that I think about it.

Where Shiro's story is about defying destiny (being that it only survives in 0.01% of timelines), Dax's story is about being unable to outright fate. Dax lives in a world where he's constantly lying to himself, accepting the lies told by others, and being both aware of and in denial of those facts.

He's a Marine captain at least when he finally learns Shiro is alive, and it ruins his life, because he's finally forced to confront some of the founding lies that built the life he leads now.

But more on that now— here's some small fun facts about him!

Dax wields hybrid knife-pistols as his primary weapon.

His crew is tasked with hunting underworld mercenaries as a (mostly propaganda driven) mission.

He has a little companion bat called Crockery. She's a cheeky little thing, and the reason why all his personal rooms are dark with only orange-red lighting. And he carries a blackout pouch for her to nap in, too.

He ate the Echo-Echo Fruit under military direction, and is now an Echolocation Human.

As a result, he can aim without looking!

Dax is an aromantic pansexual. Because I can 👈😏👈
