Lonely, the territories are divided between a couple, who are in the period of the female's estrus. These territories are quite wide, and may have an area of ​​up to 123 km². Communication takes place mainly through scent marking, but vocalizations similar to barking also occur. Gestation lasts up to 65 days, with black newborns weighing between 340 and 430 g.

Despite not being considered in danger of extinction by the IUCN, all the countries in which it occurs classify it in some degree of threat, although the real situation of the populations is not known. It is estimated that there are about 23 thousand animals in the wild, being a popular animal in all zoos. It is threatened mainly because of the destruction of the cerrado to expand agriculture, pedestrian accidents, hunting and diseases caused by domestic dogs. Phylogeny inferred from mitochondrial and nuclear DNA data. The species was described in 1815, by Johann Karl Wilhelm Illiger, initially as Canis brachyurus. [3] Lorenz Oken classified it as Vulpes cancosa, and only in 1839, Charles Hamilton Smith described the genus Chrysocyon. [3] Later, other authors considered him to be a member of the genus Canis. [3]

Despite having belonged to the genera Canis and Vulpes, due to their morphological similarities, the maned wolf is not closely related to these genera. [9] Molecular studies have shown no relationship between the Chrysocyon genus and these canids. [8] [10] The maned wolf is one of the endemic canids of South America, along with the bush dog (Cerdocyon thous ), the vinegar dog (Speothus venaticus) and the genus Lycalopex. So this is based of a military task force that I created based off both Task Force 141 from the Modern Warfare Trilogy, and the MACV-SOG from Black Ops (Call of Duty). The main character of this is Seiji Tachikawa, but my Equestria girls OCs are also part of this, so I decided to add them in here too. Flash Sentry and Davis Motomiya, two guys who have somewhat mixed reputations in the MLP and Digimon fandoms respectively are the 2nds in command of the Task Force. Hey everyone! (if there is anyone here still on this hell site) 

This is my Zora OC Munta Chordata! She’s second in line to the throne cousin to Sidon the Third. But despite her royal responsibilities she decided to join the guards of the domain. She’s very goal oriented and enjoys sparring like a fish likes breathing water. Her design is based on a mix of a stingray, a manta ray, and a whale shark. Ray is her dad side (noble) and whale shark is her mother’s side (royal).

okay little disclaimer I have no art of them that im proud of and the characters make no sense because they're from when I was 9-12. anyways

MAIN CHARACTER Piper! So, in the story, there's magic that some people have. you can teach yourself, but some people are already naturally skilled. piper isn't either of these. she wasn't skilled and when she tried teaching herself, she failed. really bad. she didn't even care about magic, she just wanted people to be proud of her......shes my little sopping wet cat.

Aruna! Aruna is one friend of Piper. She specialized in more dark magic. people would think that she was smart and mysterious, but she was just sorta quiet. kind of person that keeps to herself and then is really open when you're close :]

Sól! another friend of Piper. acts happy and stuff, optimistic to a fault at times. he specialized in light magic and healing. he's seen as the dumbest in the group and it gets to him.

all three of them are somewhere in their mid to late 20s...I think i'd say around 26 or 27. all knew each other as kids and grew up together.

and I think I brought up mischief, malice, and mayhem? anyways, they're side characters. just these three kids, pulling pranks and stuff. probably stuck to each other like piper, sól, and aruna did at their age. they're treated like problem kids, but no one does anything to help them for a while, making them act out even more. a lot of stuff still isn't clear for me yet, but I think maybe piper would be reminded of herself and her friends, and she'd try treating them right....the kids stay chaotic, but they'd at least be treated right. I really need to do more with them.....

He’s third in line for the throne, younger brother to Munta and youngest cousin to Sidon the Third. He’s a bit of an angsty teen who loves all things Hylian culture. Also just so everyone knows I love my boy. And I am sorry for what I put him though ;-;

My Pony OCs

1.) Paladin H.K. Colt Race: Pegasus Place of Birth: Manehattan Military Rank: Sergeant Sexual Preference: Bisexual (Mostly mares, often stallions)

We all know who Paladin is, but just to add some backstory, Paladin grew up in Manehattan during the time when gangs ruled the neighborhood. Paladin developed a sense of loyalty with those he cared about, and he would risk anything to keep his friends from getting hurt.

He’s often a sexual predator, flirting with both mares and stallions, but he only goes to bed with them if they allow it.

When he’s not in bed, Paladin is a good warrior. He can command a squad of guard ponies into battle well or in a platoon in a military parade march. He is also skilled at commanding armored vehicles. Light scouting tanks are his specialty, but he would often use medium and heavy tanks when the need arose.

2.) Fyros Chordata Race: Unicorn Place of Birth: Canterlot Military Rank: Lance Corporal Sexual Preference: Bisexual (Mostly stallions, often mares)

Fyros Chordata is the second in command of Paladin’s squad. He came from a rich family but was disowned when he admitted his bisexual orientation. He joined the Royal Guards and was assigned into Paladin’s squad, where he felt at home with others like him.

He studied at Princess Celestia’s school of gifted unicorns, but did not graduate. Nevertheless, he is still considered the brains behind the squad.

Inside a tank, Fyros would act as the loader of the tank, although he often picked up the radio when Paladin was busy commanding the tank. He is also the medic of the squad, and creatively uses fire to heal wounds, saying that the heat would make the wound heal faster and kill any harmful bacteria in the process.

Sharps is the only mare in the squad, but that does not mean she’s the bottom whenever the squad starts having their frequent “playtimes”. She has a feisty attitude, being one of the few mares serving in the Royal Guards. She also has a soft spot, thought, but that is only with ponies she can relate to, i.e. her squad mates.

She is the marks pony of the squad and the gunner of the tank crew. She trained herself in marksponyship when she was young. Her father trained her whenever they left their home in Cloudsdale to fend off Timberwolves from her cousin’s farm in Ponyville. Despite her being a pegasus, she is somewhat related to the Apple family.

4.) Blitz Krieg Race: Earth Pony Place of Birth: Germaneigh Military Rank: Private First Class Sexual Preference: Bisexual (Mostly stallions, often mares)

Blitz is the driver of the tank crew and the support gunner of the squad. He likes to get things done as quick and as effective as possible. He has a no-bullshit attitude, meaning he wants to go direct to the point in conversations and missions.

His soft side, however is his attractions to stallions. Despite his somewhat masculine appeal, he has a fetish for male pony booties. He would not mind getting into a sausage party from time to time.

He, however is not the brightest mind in Equestria, but he can relate to situations when it matters.
