i downloaded a cpu temperature reader on my computer to monitor its temperature because it will get so hot that it feels like it'll burn my fingers on the keyboard and. yeah no wonder cause my cpu core temps keep going up to like 80-90 C....like yeah that would do it

#obviously the KEYS arent that hot but the entire laptop is just. hmmm. so so hot all the time #now that we're in the summer season i dont feel safe setting it on my lap to write because i'm normally wearing shorts #and i dont want my thighs to get burned :(((#i'm gonna get some compressed air and see if i can clean the vents but frankly they do not look THAT dusy. like i dont even see dust #i think this computer is just poorly optimized in general :/#i don't like it #it's a dell just like my sucky work computer (which ALSO gets hot and runs the fan 24/7)#and since my coworker's computers also run hot i dont think thats part of the issue that is just my work computer being broken #so i think that these like. dell laptops. are just poorly optimized and run hot with Very little applications open #like dude this isnt even a cheap computer #it wasnt high-end but it was very midrange expensive with decent specs #AND IM MAXING CPU WITH FIREFOX AND DISCORD OPEN? girl what
