Looked at a necklace at a yard sale today and thought "hehe looks like rose quartz" and I picked it up and it was COLD and HEAVY which means real stone. The stones are also imperfect with cloudy spots and cracks through the inside of the beads. It's on a pink thread so the rosy color is mostly an illusion. But yeah probably scored a nice quartz necklace for $2
#if it's not real it's an impressive fake#obviously quartz is pretty abundant so it's not unheard of to have jewelry made of it#but it is rare to find real stone much less real crystal at a yard sale#and $2 is cheap for cut polished ready to wear crystals of any kind
