The new video.. was amazing.. but also I slightly had a panic attack when Deceit first showed up bc I thought Patton wasn’t coming back, and also Deceit unsettled me, he just looks.. *wrong*. Which I know is just because of the makeup and everything, it clicks something in my head like “nO NO THATS BAD WRONG RUN”

Five things. Hmm...here goes!

1. I’m really good at navigating bureaucracy. I can take a form and a list of needed documents and get them together and ready to submit without much of an issue. I’m not super tidy in real life, but I keep things organized digitally and can put my hands on old e-mails, attachments, and other information quickly and efficiently. It really helps in my job as a process analyst.

2. I cut off all contact with my narcissistic, sociopathic father ten years ago and haven’t spoken to him since. I stopped giving him one more chance, stopped putting up with his abuse, stopped believing him when he belittled me, and I’ve been so much happier and healthier as a result. I didn’t let my fear of his anger or the judgement of others stop me from doing what was best for me.

3. I am an excellent kisser and can tie a cherry stem into a knot with my tongue.

4. I’ve taken big risks in my life. I moved across country twice and didn’t let the dramatic failure of the first time stop me from doing it again. I flew to Switzerland for two weeks and stayed with someone I’d never met in real life before (I miss you, Eva!!!). I’ve very rarely given into the urge to take the easy way out when it meant being less than true to myself. And all the regrets I have are based on risks I didn’t take, not the ones I did.

5. I make the best Thanksgiving turkey ever.

Entry One - Just Moved In!

We just got all settled in today! It’s definitely a good-sized apartment, but I underestimated the stairs — turns out the kids aren’t really able to get all the way up by themselves. (Roman may or may not have gotten himself “stuck” about halfway, it was kinda funny, but he definitely didn’t think so.)

Not too much has really happened so far, mostly just getting the last few things unpacked and set up. They sure seem to like the place! Well.. except for Virgil, he doesn’t really like how high up we are. It took a while, but Patton actually managed to get him out on the balcony to play! (Sadly, I couldn’t find my phone to take a picture.)

We did meet a couple new neighbors, though!

(I had to ask one of said neighbors to take the picture because Logan was causing a bit of trouble.)

Virgil didn’t really talk to them much, which I did expect since they told me he was kinda a shy kid. Patton and Roman were outside playing, but they were both pretty outgoing, and Logan was.. neutral? He didn’t really talk, but he wasn’t as upset as Virgil was at some points.

After everyone had left, and we’d all had dinner, I started getting them all ready for bed.. I guess Virgs was a little too tired to wait, though, since he ended up falling asleep in a chair!

All in all, I think we’re gonna have fun.

Eesh this was really short, mostly because I didn’t get a chance to get many pictures, nor did much really happen that day. (Also, I’m not sure how often I’ll really get to update the actual story, it’s just a matter of when I’m able to get onto the computer, which is kinda a shaky schedule.)

(Excuse my rambling) Hhh y o I’m so glad to see I’m not the only person who’s put so much thought into their own Sides..!! :D Mine are Creativity, Anxiety, Kindness, and Winsome (all besides Anxiety chosen by friends, my own ideas were self-deprecating). Creativity is named Aimée, Winsome is Julianna, Kindness is Annabeth, and Anxiety is Regan (but I’m considering Absinthe). I just!! Love rambling about my girls!! :D

They sound wonderful!! I love how creative the whole fandom gets with their Sides :)
