I can’t not want to know more wider worldbuilding. like what exists outside of these cities? is there. nature. is that a thing t #that exists. what about like. production and resources #but also that’s not the POINT it’s more conceptual and if you try make it logical it will fall apart. which tbh we need more YA sff that jus #just zeroes in on a concept for the vibes #and characterisation #also how would the MC know what exists outside of her perception #I also think that the succinctness of the worldbuilding that is only informed by what the plot needs is what makes it work re: being centred #on horrible villains #if there was too much external worldbuilding you would have to consider the implications of the terrible things more and it wouldn’t be as f #fun #anyway way. the lesbians rip out and eat more peoples eyeballs
