What do you think Tonks thinks about Snape (is it canon that he was her potions teacher)?

It was canon that Snape was her potions teacher! and even better he was like early 20s and new to the whole teaching thing, so he wouldn't have the solid footing as the dickhead teacher you don't really mess with yet - so I can see a lot of messing going on. Youngest teacher = easy target y'know.

But in terms of Tonks' personal opinion, I don't think she thinks very highly of him. At least based on the way she talks about/to him in HBP.

In the scene where she saves Harry from the train, she visibly frowns at seeing Snape and points out to him "I meant Hagrid to get the message" - so not only does she not want to deal with Snape, but she's not shy about letting him know it either.

Snape, in return, is pretty bitchy about her new patronus (because 'yknow Remus) and Tonks is, again, visibly pissed off by it.

And then when it comes out that Snape killed Dumbledore, Tonks says she presumed Dumbledore had a really good reason for trusting Snape ("But Dumbledore swore he was on our side!" whispered Tonks. "I always thought Dumbledore must know something about Snape that we didn't..." [...] "I'd love to know what Snape told him to convince him") suggesting that she didn't trust him and just went off what Dumbledore said.

So she's probably not Snape's biggest fan [-a situation likely made worse by Snape choosing to call her Nymphadora, despite the fact he calls many other people by their last names (Lupin, for example) and almost certainly doesn't have the type of relationship with Tonks where that's chill (like McGonagall seems to) ]

An idea for a doodle request: A Cosmere/TMA roleswap? :D Perhaps Vin as an Avatar of the Dread Power known as The Stillness, sometimes called the Forever, or Things-Will-Always-Be-The-Same. Perhaps Jonathan Sims as a Knight Radiant, channeling the power of the Shard called Vigilance!

In the spirit of the ask rather than the law of it, I got really obsessed with the idea of Radiant Jon. He's definitely some kind of corrupted Truthwatcher who's spren vaguely resembles eyes reflected in shards broken glass. I wanted to give him a shardaxe as a joke... and then realized I'd drawn his spren and his shard weapon in the same image whoopsie. I have... a lot of thoughts about this... thanks for the food.

i feel like this volume had the drama worth of previous entire seasons in a single volume. like, three guys fighting over us? romantic gestures all over? kissing people out of your couple? a couple dumping? fighting one of the girls? being put on the spot bc you have to choose between the guys? female LI opening up about her feelings? our twin sister confessing she kissed our ex? BEING DUMPED?? CASA AMOR??? so much going on omg
