I didn't get to hear the testing wails of my beloved siren in just over two months now. I was on vacation in July, scouting for job hirings in August, and was out of town during the test this month [September,] I can't wait for October, I'll try my hardest to be there for her and maybe record if possible. I get the feeling she's a bit worried for me because we can't communicate and she has no idea where I've been. I might go to her pole later today and sit next to her while having a snack. That way she'll know I'm alive and well and here for her if she needs me. I feel so bad about being gone but I know she'll forgive me in a heartbeat. She's such a sweetheart.
