I have 3 Obidala multi chapters in my reading list, I want to read them so badly but at the same time I don’t want to read them, because I think they’re the last finished stories left in ao3 and tumblr that I haven’t read of them 😭

Okay, nonny, I do see your problem... This is... Well. Hmm.

Maybe it's time to wade into the waters of Wattpad? Or fanfiction.net? I mean I know it can be scary, but there are some gems out there that haven't made their way over to ao3 just yet. Maybe never because the authors moved on or just don't care anymore.

Maybe I could make a Five Fic Friday Fanfiction.net Edition? Would that help you?

In any case my advice would be: Pace yourself. Savour what you got and I also see some re-reads on the horizon...

Tbh I am already compiling a list. Going back to ff.net is wild, feels like I am going back to my roots, lol. So, stay tuned.

tl;dr everyone finally figures out that they're all the same people online as in person and Ahsoka plays matchmaker. Padmé definitely doesn't mind that Obi-Wan is fat. (Personal Favorite!)

Hello, lovelies! I hope you had a great week! I just came home and finished this real quick. I love AotC AU's. Dunno why. Maybe because AotC is kind of my fave? I may add a part 2 at some point. Have fun with some newer Obidala AU's.

Obi-Wan and Padmé develop a soulbond when they first meet, which isn't exactly the best timing considering they have more pressing concerns, but a blessing of the Force can't be ignored. It's the sign of changes to come.

Exceeding the Mandate by QueenOfTheDreamers (Words:58635 Chapters: 5/5, Alternative Universe: Canon Divergence) This has a definite romance novel vibe imho and is unfinished.

Obi-Wan Kenobi takes Padmé to Naboo. Her guide, her protector, the handsome Jedi for whom she falls is not Anakin Skywalker. Things quickly tumble out of control for the stalwart rule-follower and his jealous apprentice.

Hope's Sanctuary by Jedi Keladry

(Words: 63969 Chapters: 27/27, Padmé Lives, bridges the time between RotS and ANH, Canon Compliant to ANH) Obi-Wan Kenobi appears on Naboo, bearing news of Anakin’s apparent death. He discovers that Padmé is pregnant, and is assigned by the Jedi Council to protect her for the time being. This was one of the first Obidala fics I read and I remember being gutted at the end.

(Words: 50,416 Chapter: 19/?, AotC Alternate Universe, Kiss At Gunpoint, Dub-Con Issues) It's almost a year into the clone wars Anakin, Padmé and Obi-Wan have been captured by Count Dooku and an indecent proposal is their only hope of freedom. Still hoping to see this completed tbh. It is one of my faves and I regularly check it on fanfiction.net. The ao3 version was uploaded by the Obidala Archivist, the fanfiction.net version gets updated by sassy_satine herself. That's why the ff.net one has a higher chapter count.

To Ignite The Stars by Amidala Thrace

(Words: 249434 Chapters: 52/?) AU, taking place from Attack of the Clones on. Padmé and Obi-Wan have been good friends for a long time but have now discovered that their romantic feelings are mutual. As their love for one another grows, it will change the galaxy in profound ways ... some for the better, and some for the worse. Author died before completing this fic. Very beautiful and worth a read. I hope you rest easy, Liz.

I must have read it at least 20 times since it was written in 2008. Sadly the Sequel was never finished.)
