Whoo-hoo! Thanks for tagging me in this, @anukulee! Here are my answers:
Q: Which Mr. Hiddleston character (aside from Loki) is your comfort character?
Aside from Loki (who is definitely becoming a comfort character for me), it would have to be a tie between Bill Hazeldine from Suburban Shootout and Prince Hal from The Hollow Crown. I just start grinning and giggling like a fool every time I see them on-screen. Like everything is right with the universe :)
Q: Which Mr. Hiddleston character would understand self care and mental health the easiest?
Um...Ragnarok!Loki would probably understand mental health in my opinion, just because he's the most "modern" out of all of Hiddleston's characters. Though I agree with your opinion about Thomas Sharpe being very understanding of mental health due to his empathetic nature and the trauma he's witnessed in his lifetime
Q: Out of all Mr. Hiddleston works which one is your comforts?
Out of all of his works, which would be the most comforting? Probably the first Thor film. I swear nothing beats seeing one of your favorite characters' first appearance. It's like you're falling for them all over again, like tasting a familiar, sweet memory.
Q: What do you think would Mr. Hiddleston characters comfort playlists?
This could be an entirely separate post in itself (and maybe if I finally get my damned priorities straight with my WIPs, I'll do it), but I think each person's playlist would be reflective of their time period. For example, Thomas Sharpe's playlist would feature Debussy's Claire de Lune, and maybe some bits from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake. James Conrad's playlist - and maybe Robert Laing's - would have hits from the 60s and 70s.
Q: Which one of Mr. Hiddleston characters do you think would be the most rational when you need comfort? And which one do you think would struggle and be unsure what to do?
Most rational? I have to hand it to Bill Hazeldine because he's just so caring. And definitely Loki (all eras) because he's also quite good at reading people. (Queen Frigga made this remark about him in Thor: The Dark World)
In terms of who would struggle, I'd go with Robert Laing and James Conrad because they're both used to not caring about what other people. If I can elaborate a bit, Robert's ability to not care about other people is what enabled him to be one of the final survivors of the madness within high-rise. So to bring comfort to another person is not something that would come easily to him.
Similarly, James Conrad has lived in a survival-type of situation for a long time, whether it be his time in the military or his time hiding in Vietnam (before Skull Island). Being able to break out of that 'every man for himself' mode is something that would need time.
Q: Out if all of Mr. Hiddleston characters (aside from Loki) who do you think is in the most need of comfort?
THOMAS SHARPE for sure. Tbh, I think they could all use more comfort, but Thomas Sharpe definitely needs intense help because of, like you said, incest. Plus, he lost his parents at a young age, had an overbearing guardian in the form of a sister who tried to control everything, and pretty much gets criticized by everyone as someone who's never known hard work. (This is true in the film when Thomas tries to sell his own inventions)
Also, nice choice picking Freddie Page from The Deep Blue Sea
Q: Who do you think out of all of Mr. Hiddleston characters would give the best hug?
Bill, Loki, or Henry V.
Q: What would be each Mr. Hiddleston character comfort routines?
How they would comfort you in times of need?
Thor 1!Loki, Bill Hazeldine, Thomas Sharpe, Jonathan Pine: Hug, cuddle, cry, and forget about the world for a little while. Hot chocolate included.
Robert Laing, James Conrad, Freddie Page: Pour a drink and try not to think about it. Repeat.
Prince Hal, Oakley: Let's stop being sad, and be awesome instead. Have some fun, life is short
Q: Out of all of Mr. Hiddleston characters who would likely to take you to Disney?
Ragnarok!Loki, for sure. I think he'd have a lot of fun (just for kicks, Thor would tease Loki about fitting in with the princesses). Bill would also have the time of his life, putting on the mouse ears and enjoying the rides.
But you know who I want to take to Disney? Jonathan Pine, just so he can take a break from his dangerous life and enjoy something simple. Even if he doesn't have a liking for fairytales, he'd still have a lot of fun.
Also, if I had a time machine or something like that, I'd love to see Henry V enjoy Disney too.
Time for what I am calling our caring edition. What is that you may be wondering, basically I will be asking you all questions regarding to Mr. Hiddleston characters and how they would be in a caring manner. If any of this hits too close to home, then you don’t have to answer if not then proceed on..
Q: Which Mr. Hiddleston character (aside from Loki) is your comfort character?
A: I would have to say Thomas because I think he could use a good hug, and wouldn’t mind giving me one.
Q: Which Mr. Hiddleston character would understand self care and mental health the easiest?
A: Loki 💯 percent, due to his childhood I think he would grasp the concept of mental health better then most or already know of it.
Q: Out of all Mr. Hiddleston works which one is your comforts?
A: Honestly Loki because I see him and smile a little seeing him. Reminds me things could be worse.
Q: What do you think would Mr. Hiddleston characters comfort playlists?
A: I am not sure about this honestly.
Q: Which one of Mr. Hiddleston characters do you think would be the most rational when you need comfort? And which one do you think would struggle and be unsure what to do?
A: Loki and Bill easily would likely understand the concept easily and try to help you. I honestly think it would be James, Jonathan, Freddie, and Thomas who would be unsure what to do. All of them are likely not used to having to express emotions of what they truly feel. They have to be seen as men before anything else.
Q: Out if all of Mr. Hiddleston characters (aside from Loki) who do you think is in the most need of comfort?
A: Thomas and Freddie. Thomas because of incest and Freddie due to all that war trauma.
Q: Who do you think out of all of Mr. Hiddleston characters would give the best hug?
A: Loki I wouldn’t mind being hugged by him.
Q: What would be each Mr. Hiddleston character comfort routines?
A: Loki trying to find a way to cheer you up whether that be comforting you or just letting you be.
Freddie: He is unsure what to do exactly but tries his best.
Thomas: Just hugs you, refuses to let you go, and reassures you.
Q: Out of all of Mr. Hiddleston characters who would likely to take you to Disney?
A: Loki I think he would be amusing of everyone crowding for two minute rides.

Note
Depending on how developed Oakley's world is, for common manmade landmarks typically a central symbol of union (ex. Worker and Kolkhoznitza Woman, the Statue of Liberty), a temple to a higher power (ex. Christ the Redeemer, Totem Poles), something to remember a leader(s) (ex. Statues of the Trung Sisters, founders of Vietnam, a statue of Syngman Rhee, first president of South Korea), and something with deep historical significance (ex. The Taj Mahal, The Great Wall of China).
For nature made, natural wonders (ex. Mount Everest, Mount Kilimanjaro), natural barriers for safety (ex. The Grand Canyon, the Yellow River), a source of survival supply (ex. The Nile River, the Amazon river (rivers are usually the answer to this)), a homage to an event (ex. Normandy, France, where D-Day was fought, Zijin Mountain, China, where thousands were executed (you can make happy events like the first celebration or something instead, but these were the first I could think of)).
Hope that helps a bit!
A bit?? This helps so much, thank you!!!!
#I’m staring at your username trying to figure out what the first half says#thank you very much tho this is very helpful#:)))#fantasy world#worldbuilding

AO3 Master List
Loki - Series
Exile’s Return: Rated M, Fluff, Smut, Romance, 16 chapters (complete)
Banished from Asgard for his various crimes, Loki seeks to use the rescue and return of Thor’s betrothed (ofc) to secure his release from exile. But he is the God of Mischief, and when the lady in question proves to be smart, caring, and lovely he can’t resist trying to slowly turn her affection away from the prince she is promised to marry and claim her for himself. My first ever (and still personal favorite I’ve written) fic!!
Loki and Kela’s Adventures on Midgard: Rated E, Smut, Fluff 8 chapters (complete)
A sequel to Exile’s Return, but not really necessary to read that first. Loki brings his love Kela to Midgard despite being wanted for war crimes by The Avengers. While attending the theater in New York they cross paths with a dangerous man with mind control abilities. Will Loki be able to keep Kela from becoming his latest victim?
In Exchange for Submission: Rated E, Smut, Fluff, Romance, Angst, 77 Chapters (completed)
Loki’s invasion of NY has taken a turn for the better, and he is now in charge of a growing percentage of the United States. During his campaign he acquired a group of hostages from resistance pockets and is keeping them captive in Stark Tower. Now, with things settling down a bit, he needs to decide what to do with them. Two of them, from a prominent family, are set to be released. One of these, a feisty, irritating, impossible woman, desperately offers to ransom the rest of the prisoners, including her best friend. Loki has no need of Midgardian coin, but the woman, who has been a thorn in his side for weeks, has something else that he desires - her submission. He offers her a bargain - every day he will require a new willing act of submission from her, and in exchange, he will release one prisoner. How long can she keep up the deal? And how much of herself will he demand she surrender?
Trigger Warnings: Dark elements, Dark!Thor, attempted rape (not by Loki), angst, tons of kink and smut
For the Price of a Book: Rated M, Romance, Fluff, Smut, Angst, 35 Chapters (completed)
In the days before the events of Thor I, Loki inadvertently comes upon a female servant being “punished” by a pair of guards. Her crime? Stealing a book from the rooms she was tasked to clean. Curiosity captured, he decides to break through the shy exterior by any means necessary. A bit of softer Loki story, as he is younger and pre-Jotunn discovery. He is still Loki though, so sass and drama will not be far away!
Christmas Mischief: Rated M, Romance, Fluff, Smut 4 Chapters (completed)
You have been dating Loki for several months, so it is only natural that he would accompany you home for a very old fashioned family holiday, right? This could be your dream come true… or your worst nightmare.
Loki - One Shots
The Rarest Flower: Rated T, Romance, Angst, 1 shot
Birthday Challenge from the prompt: Could I request the “forbidden/secret relationship” with Loki and reader? They dated back in Asgard, but with Loki as prince it was somehow forbidden so they needed to keep it secret. Someone found out and the reader was sent to Midgard and to not see Loki again and while she is there she found out she’s pregnant. Years later Loki found a way back to the reader and is surprised to see that they have a child
Retribution: Rated E, Smut, NonCon, 1 shot
Loki has just conquered two united armies on the field of battle. Now he confronts the woman who brought them together to oppose him - daughter to the proud king of one army, betrothed of the general of their ally. Angry at the challenge to his throne he decides to make an example of her, and gives her a choice: be tossed to his soldiers for their entertainment, or willingly submit to his every perverted demand as his personal slave. Basically, my attempt at a Loki/slave one shot.
Trigger Warning: VERY NON-CON! This is not the love story Loki of my previous works, but just pure, unadulterated, dark, perverted porn.
Team Bonding: Rated T, Drinking, Implied Future Smut, Drunken Silliness, One Shot
Now that Loki is a member of the Avengers, he needs to develop a better report with them. As his fiancé, you feel it is your duty to encourage him to go out for post-mission drinks with the team. What could possibly go wrong?
The Perfect Costume: Rated E, Smut
Loki needs to find the perfect costume to wear to a party with you. What will he come up with and how will you react?
Life of the Party: Rated T, Drinking, Implied Future Smut
An empath and a scientist in the service of SHIELD, you are blackmailed by Tony Stark into attending one of his parties for your own good. Expecting to have a miserable time, you instead strike up a conversation with the God of Mischeif. Written for @scrumptious-delusion 2K Writing challenge!
A Flood of Emotions: Rated M, Smut, Fluff, Set During Pandemic
As an empath living through the Covid-19 pandemic you are struggling to deal with being confined with everyone else's emotions. When Loki arrives at your door for a delayed rendezvous you are moments away from a panic attack. Can the God of Mischief take your mind off of your problems?
This is a continuation of the story begun in "Life of the Party", though it is not necessary to read it first.
You’re My Obsession: Rated M, Angst, Smut, Avenger Loki
As the head of PR for the Avengers, you are faced with a lot of problems. None of them, however, is as big as your obsession with a certain God of Mischief. While he cavorts with models and treats you as a nothing more than a close friend, you find yourself unable to control your feeling for him. Can you find a way to make him final take notice of you?
James Conrad
GIF by jeaingrey
The Mark: Rated E, Smut, Angst, Fluff, Romance, Gooey Ending, One Shot
Desperate for money in a backwater town in South East Asia after the Vietnam War, Jennifer follows a tall British man she has just seen win a roll of cash at pool. She is determined to make him her latest mark, but James Conrad is more than what he seems and not one to fall for any woman’s game.
Trigger warning: Mention of attempted kidnapping/human trafficking
Tracking the Beast: rated T, fluff, alcohol use, implied smut
James leads a group of inexperienced adventures to track a rare beast.
Sir Thomas Sharpe
In Search of Refuge: Rated E, Smut, Gothic Romance, Work in Progress
A disastrous carriage accident leaves Rose stranded in a snow storm. Desperate to find shelter from the elements, she stumbles upon a run down estate and throws herself on the mercy of its owner, Sir Thomas Sharpe.
Magnus Martinsson
GIF by littllemissmagic
Protection: Rated E, Smut, Romance, Fluff, Angst, 36 Chapters (completed)
Against his wishes, Magnus is assigned an undercover case to protect a witness and bring down a criminal. He gets more than he bargains for with his protectee. This starts with a slow burn, but I promise there will be smutty goodness in upcoming chapters!
Bunnies in the Rain: Rated E, Smut, Fluff, Romance One Shot
Birthday Challenge: Magnus and Just. One. Bed. You and Det. Magnus Martinsson get stuck in the rain out on the job, and have to take shelter in a Bed and Breakfast. What could possibly happen?
Robert Laing
Her: Rated E, Smut, Kidnapping, Dub/Con, Nonconsensual Drug Use
Laing enjoys life in the high rise as every woman’s favorite amenity, but lately he’s been getting bored. When he sees Grace, he knows he has to have her, no matter what it takes.
Trigger Warnings: Please, please, please read the rating. This is a dark fic unlike my usual ones.
Tom Hiddleston
Kicked Out: Rated M, Fluff, Angst, Kissing,
Birthday Challenge: Tom and Just. One. Bed.On your first professional tour you are unceremoniously ousted from your hotel room when your roommate hooks up with one of the stars. It is at this point that the other lead, one Tom Hiddleston, wanders into the room. Being a gentleman, he can hardly let you drink alone!
In the Timing: Rated E, Smut, Angst, Fluff 4 Chapters (completed)
After a horrible first date, you end up at a pub filled with University students. You are feeling rather old and sorry for yourself, until a blond haired Adonis strikes up a conversation with you. Obviously he is too young for you, but what could a little flirting hurt?
Tom Hiddleston/Loki
Personalities Within: Rated E, Smut, Fluff, Angst, Loki, Oakley, Jonathan Pine, Coriolanus, Adam, tbd, Work in Progress (currently on hiatus)
Tom had been so careful for so long. He rarely got involved in relationships, and if he did he only let them go on for so long before ending them. It was the only way to be safe. The only way that HE wouldn’t come out. And while HE, among others, might make Tom a great actor, the dangers were to great. But what happens when Tom falls for someone. Someone who not only is his perfect type, but the other’s perfect type as well? Can he pursue a relationship with her while keeping his secret and protecting her? Or will the unthinkable happen?
Trigger Warnings: Mental illness

x 5 countries you would like to visit within your lifetime: Thailand, Vietnam, Morocco, Turkey, India.
x 5 aspects of your usual morning routine: My morning routine’s really not that complicatd haha. Let’s see...I check my phone, make my bed, wash my face, comb my hair, and tell Kimi good morning.
x 5 of your top favorite music genres: Punk rock, indie folk, R&B, pop rock, synth pop.
x 5 controversial issues that are important to you: LGBTQ+ issues, Black Lives Matter, the Me Too and Speaking Out movements, rape, and abortion.
x 5 songs that you could listen to over and over again:
Why We Ever - Hayley Williams
From Eden - Hozier
I Was a Teenage Anarchist - Against Me!
Love Drought - Beyoncé
Kiss It Better - Rihanna
x 5 things that remind you of childhood: Playing outside, Pokemon cards, Spongebob, getting gashes on my knees, alcoholism.
x 5 of your favorite scents: My usual perfume, cookies being baked, curry being cooked, a clean hotel room, and coffee.
x 5 things you do on your favorite holiday: I don’t really have traditions for Halloween...sometimes I’ll watch a horror movie or two, or do my occasional read-about-serial-killers-on-Wikipedia binge, or watch Buzzfeed Unsolved, but that’s it. I don’t get the chance to dress up all that often, so I won’t list it down.
x 5 of your favorite clothing items: Currently I like tank tops, halter tops, ~mom~ jeans, white sneakers, and rompers.
x 5 five questions you would ask your favorite band if you ever met them: I honestly don’t know. I don’t imagine myself asking questions when I meet Paramore...I suppose I’d ask them stuff about depression and mental health in general because they’ve been really big on promoting that in the last few years and because it’s something I go through too.
x 5 five random texts from your inbox: “mhm” from Gabie, “So what’s the deal?” from my dad, “Robyn drink ur medicine” from my mom, “Ty” with three hearts from Gab’s dad, and “omg im happy for u biych” from Angela.
x 5 things you do while with your best friend: Eat somewhere cheap, catch up on gossip, exchange banter, drive around, andddd have a few drinks.
x 5 pet peeves: People who feel like they always have to shit on others’ interests, people who are constantly late, people who don’t clean up after themselves in restaurants, being nonchalantly racist, and being way too extroverted.
x 5 things you do on a daily basis that are out of the norm: Not so sure. I think I’m pretty normal lol in terms of my routine? The only unusual thing I’ve been doing recently is going back to my YouTube fangirl days and watching videos from the peak of my former favorites like Zoella and Tyler Oakley. The videos are all the way from like 2012-2015 so I doubt a lot of people have been visiting them.
x 5 talents you wouldn't mind having: Playing the piano, playing the violin, dancing ballet, making videos, and cooking.
x 5 people who have impacted your life: Gabie, Angela, Sofie, Andrew, and my grandfather.
x 5 stores at which you like to shop: I honestly really just go for the independent stalls over at Feliz lol.
x 5 things you do when you are angry: Stay quiet, rest my head (if there’s a table nearby), stay in my car and cry quietly, ignore everyone, smack the thing nearest to me.
x 5 positive things about yourself: I like that IIIIIIII...put other people first. And that I remember little details about my friends, and that I’m good at picking out gifts for the people I love, and that I pick up trash wherever I may be hahaha. And that I’m not an asshole to servers or baristas.
x 5 unique items in the surrounding area: A box of steam eye masks, a bottle of ~glucose monohydrate, chew toys, a pair of masquerade masks, and a glass polar bear.
x 5 things you would do if trapped in a room with your boyfriend/girlfriend: Hug them, kiss them, ask them to lift me up, probably laugh at how dumb we’re being, and then I’ll probably cry too.
x 5 things you would do if trapped in a room with your enemy: No enemies.
x 5 instruments you wouldn't mind learning how to play: Piano, saxophone, violin, drums, and harp.
x 5 types of surveys that you like the most: Random surveys, categories, themed ones as long as they aren’t corny, name surveys, and have you evers though I prefer elaborating my answers for each item.
x 5 influential people in history about which you are interested: Well in the past, I’ve read about George Washington, Rosemary Kennedy, Steve Jobs, Claudette Colvin, and Kim Il-sung.
x 5 memories you have of you as a child: Losing a tooth for the first time in the middle of storytime in school; always being too short for the preschool pool; my parents leaving me for hours in an ice skating rink while they do groceries and other errands; playing outside until 6 in the evening; and play-wrestling with my eldest cousin.
x 5 memories you have of your life in middle school: Egh, this is gonna turn a bit dark...my two best friends migrating, feeling out of place in school nearly the whole time, getting exceptionally good grades because I had no friends anyway, my first suicide attempt, and being extensively grounded.
x 5 not-so-happy high school memories: Struggling to fit in during freshman year, my grandpa’s death, my breakup, failing some classes like geometry and chemistry, and I can’t really think of a fifth thing lol. High school mostly went well for me.
x 5 traditions you or your family has: Going on vacations when my dad is home; visiting my paternal grandparents on the first weekend of my dad coming back; going out for lunch after Sunday mass; going to one of my aunt’s for Christmas; and doing monito-monita at my great-aunt’s house also for Christmas.

Trigger Warnings: Dark elements, Dark!Thor, attempted rape (not by Loki), angst
For the Price of a Book: Rated M, Romance, Fluff, Smut, Angst, 35 Chapters (completed)
In the days before the events of Thor I, Loki inadvertently comes upon a female servant being “punished” by a pair of guards. Her crime? Stealing a book from the rooms she was tasked to clean. Curiosity captured, he decides to break through the shy exterior by any means necessary. A bit of softer Loki story, as he is younger and pre-Jotunn discovery. He is still Loki though, so sass and drama will not be far away!
Loki - One Shots
James Conrad
The Mark: Rated E, Smut, Angst, Fluff, Romance, Gooey Ending, One Shot
Desperate for money in a backwater town in South East Asia after the Vietnam War, Jennifer follows a tall British man she has just seen win a roll of cash at pool. She is determined to make him her latest mark, but James Conrad is more than what he seems and not one to fall for any woman’s game.
Trigger warning: Mention of attempted kidnapping/human trafficking
Sir Thomas Sharpe
In Search of Refuge: Rated E, Smut, Gothic Romance, Work in Progress
A disastrous carriage accident leaves Rose stranded in a snow storm. Desperate to find shelter from the elements, she stumbles upon a run down estate and throws herself on the mercy of its owner, Sir Thomas Sharpe.
Magnus Martinsson
Protection: Rated E, Smut, Romance, Fluff, Angst, 36 Chapters (completed)
Against his wishes, Magnus is assigned an undercover case to protect a witness and bring down a criminal. He gets more than he bargains for with his protectee. This starts with a slow burn, but I promise there will be smutty goodness in upcoming chapters!
Robert Laing
Her: Rated E, Smut, Kidnapping, Dub/Con, Nonconsensual Drug Use
Laing enjoys life in the high rise as every woman's favorite amenity, but lately he's been getting bored. When he sees Grace, he knows he has to have her, no matter what it takes.
Trigger Warnings: Please, please, please read the rating. This is a dark fic unlike my usual ones.
Tom Hiddleston/Loki
Personalities Within: Rated E, Smut, Fluff, Angst, Loki, Oakley, Jonathan Pine, Coriolanus, Adam, tbd, Work in Progress (currently a little stuck)
@yespolkadotkitty, @devilish--doll, @caffiend-queen, @thecutestlittlebunbunfairy, @nonsensicalobsessions, @wolfsmom1, @toozmanykids, @wrathkitty, @hiddlesholic, @vodka-and-some-sass
Please tell me if you want on or off the tag list.

Lots of greats passed from this existence to the next on this date, remembering the great Meatloaf, who passed late yesterday. Here’s what happened on this date in music…
January 21st
1966 - George Harrison
George Harrison married Patti Boyd at Leatherhead Register Office in Surrey with Paul McCartney as Best man. George had first met Patti on the set of The Beatles movie 'A Hard Day's Night'. She left Harrison in the mid-'70s and started an affair with Harrison's friend Eric Clapton, who wrote the song "Layla" about her. The two married in May 1979, but split in 1988.
1968 - Jimi Hendrix
Jimi Hendrix recorded his version of the Bob Dylan song 'All Along the Watchtower' at Olympic Studios in London. Rolling Stone Brian Jones (percussion) and Dave Mason from Traffic (twelve-string guitar) both played on the session. The track was released in the US as a single in 1968, peaking at No.20.
1982 - B.B. King
B.B. King donated his entire record collection of over 20,000 discs to Mississippi University's centre for the Study of Southern Culture.
1983 - Lamar Williams
The Allman Brothers Band bassist Lamar Williams died of lung cancer age 34. He joined the band in 1972 after the death of original bassist Berry Oakley. His doctors believed that the disease was derived from exposure to Agent Orange during his Vietnam service. Opposed to the war and to killing in general, Williams went AWOL frequently and wandered around the jungles of South Vietnam, occasionally returning to various units. He was given an honorable discharge in 1970.
1984 - Jackie Wilson
Soul singer Jackie Wilson died aged 49. Wilson suffered a massive heart attack while playing a Dick Clark show at the Latin Casino in New Jersey on September 29, 1975, falling head-first to the stage while singing 'Lonely Teardrops', and had remained in a coma until his death 8 years later. His 1957 single Reet Petite became a posthumous No.1 when re-issued in 1987 due in part to a new animated video made for the song, featuring a clay model of Wilson. Van Morrison wrote 'Jackie Wilson Said' which was covered by Dexy's Midnight Runners.
1987 - Aretha Franklin
Keith Richards inducted Aretha Franklin at the second annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Awards, held in New York City. Keith later took part in a jam with Bruce Springsteen, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Roy Orbison, Sting, and Daryl Hall.
1989 - Roy Orbison
Six weeks after his death Roy Orbison started a three-week run at No.1 on the UK album chart with 'The Legendary Roy Orbison' collection.
1992 - Billy Idol
Billy Idol pleaded guilty to assault and battery charges after an incident outside a West Hollywood restaurant. He was fined $2,700 (£1,588) and ordered to appear in a series of anti-drug commercials.
1997 - Tom Parker
'Colonel' Tom Parker, Elvis Presley's manager and agent died of a stroke in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 87. Born Andreas van Kuijk, a Dutch immigrant who changed his name as soon as he arrived in the US, Parker never applied for a green card and feared deportation his entire life. He briefly managed country singers Eddy Arnold and Hank Snow.
1997 - Irwin Levine
American songwriter Irwin Levine died of kidney failure aged 58. He co-wrote, 'Knock Three Times' and 'Tie A Yellow Ribbon' both US & UK No.1's for Tony Orlando and Dawn in the early Seventies.
2002 - Peggy Lee
American singer and actress Peggy Lee died of complications from diabetes and a heart attack at the age of 81. 1958 US No. 8 & UK No.5 single 'Fever.' Lee worked with Benny Goodman, Randy Newman, Quincy Jones and was nominated for 12 Grammy Awards, winning Best Contemporary Vocal Performance for her 1969 hit 'Is That All There Is?'
2003 - David Palmer
David Palmer, former keyboard player for Jethro Tull changed his name to Dee Palmer after a successful sex change operation. Palmer was the keyboard player for Jethro Tull between 1969 and 1980. He played on all the Tull classics including 'Thick As A Brick' and 'Aqualung.'
And just yesterday, Meat Loaf, the singer and actor best known for his best-selling Bat Out of Hell albums and roles in films as varied as The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Fight Club, died at the age of 74.
The news was confirmed by the singer’s family in a post on his official Facebook page. A cause of death was not given.
“Our hearts are broken to announce that the incomparable Meat Loaf passed away tonight surrounded by his wife Deborah, daughters Pearl and Amanda and close friends,” the family wrote. “We know how much he meant to so many of you and we truly appreciate all of the love and support as we move through this time of grief in losing such an inspiring artist and beautiful man. We thank you for your understanding of our need for privacy at this time.”
Meat Loaf first found success on the Broadway stage in the groundbreaking musical Hair, and he had a brief, but memorable role in the Rocky Horror Picture Show as the ill-fated delivery boy Eddie — but it was his 1977 album Bat Out of Hell that turned him into a superstar and rock and roll icon.

Tracking the Beast: rated T, fluff, alcohol use, implied smut
James leads a group of inexperienced adventures to track a rare beast.
Sir Thomas Sharpe
In Search of Refuge: Rated E, Smut, Gothic Romance, Work in Progress
A disastrous carriage accident leaves Rose stranded in a snow storm. Desperate to find shelter from the elements, she stumbles upon a run down estate and throws herself on the mercy of its owner, Sir Thomas Sharpe.
Magnus Martinsson
