What is website? it’s structure and types
A website is a group of interconnected, publicly accessible Web pages with a common domain name. A website can be developed and maintained to serve a variety of objectives by an individual, group, company, or organization.
Structure of Website:
Although it is usually referred to as a “web page,” this description is incorrect because a website is made up of multiple webpages. A website may also be referred to as a “web presence” or just “site.” A website’s pages generally contain both text and other types of media. However, the design of a website is not constrained by any rules.
The homepage (or simply “home”) represents the main page of the site itself. Frequently, the homepage is a sort of “hub” from which all other pages can be accessed. An internal web page to which several other pages are linked in a coherent structure (such as a specific category of topics) is instead called a “parent page.”
Every page is a single HTML document, and all of them are connected through hyperlinks (or simply “link”) which can be combined in a navigation bar for ease of use.
The navigation bar is displayed on every page rather than just the homepage, and allows the user to quickly move across the main website’s structure.
Websites are hosted on servers and must be accessed using a web browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer (either on a computer or mobile device). Direct access to a website is possible by typing in its URL address or by looking for it on a search engine like Google or Bing.
Types of Websites:
What kind of website to build. Here is a list of some of the most widely used websites right now: 1. eCommerce website
2. Business website
3. Blog website
4. Portfolio website
5. Event website
6. Personal website

What are the different versions of the web? And how we can differentiate?
Web 1.0
The basic structure of the early Web was a small number of produced web pages, with content for a sizable audience of readers, enabling them to access facts, information, and material.
You can say that Web 1.0 was created to make it simple for users to find information. Users can explore the required content (read-only), which was the aim of Web 1.0. Because it did not have any forms, images, controls, or engagement, this web version is frequently referred to as “the read-only Web.”
Web 2.0
If Web 1.0 consisted of a small group of web pages producing material for a bigger crowd, Web 2.0 consists of many web pages producing even more content for an increasing audience. Web 2.0 places more importance on engagement than Web 1.0.
User-Generated Content (UGC), readability, activity, and increased connectivity with other systems and devices are the main focuses of this Internet form. In Web 2.0, the experience of the user is everything. This Web version includes the creation of social media platforms and many other daily used websites like LinkedIn. Web 2.0 is therefore considered the dominant method of web contact for the majority of users in today’s world.
Web 2.0 is described as “the participative social Web,” whereas Web 1.0 was referred to as “the read-only Web.” With the incorporation of web browser technologies like JavaScript frameworks, Web 2.0 is an improved and expanded version of its predecessor.
Web 3.0
We must look toward the future to determine the precise meaning of web 3.0. Web 3.0 is not yet fully revealed, given the fact that some of its components are now available.
The fundamental concepts of democracy, freedom and improved user usefulness form the basis of Web 3.0, also known as Web 3. The “read-only Web (Web 1.0),” the “participative social Web (Web 2.0),” and the “read, write, execute Web (Web 3.0)” are all different types of the Internet.
Users transition from central platforms like Facebook, Google, or Twitter to implemented, practically anonymous platforms during this Web interaction and use stage. Tim Berners-Lee, who created the World Wide Web, originally referred to Web 3.0 as the Semantic Web and saw an intelligent, self-sufficient, and open Internet that employed AI and machine learning to function as a “global brain” and interpret content conceptually and socially.

What is Medium? and how it helps us to publish our content?
Medium is an American online publishing platform developed by Evan Williams launched in August 2012 and Medium Corporation is its owner.
Open to everyone, Medium is a social publishing platform where a large variety of stories, ideas, and viewpoints are shared. On Medium, anyone can contribute individually. Popular themes including mental health, social media, foreign politics, trending news, and professional tips.
"Medium is not about who you are or who you know, but about what you have to say."
The main design of Medium is with lots of white space and some formatting options, which helps to make note of what you're saying.
But that's simply one of many minor details that are common to use Medium. In fact, there's quite a bit to understand before you publish your content if you're just getting started on the platform.
