So unfortunately as you may have already seen, my journey in the #faceawardsuk 2018 is over as I didn’t make the top 10. I always try and be open and honest about emotions these days, as too many people bottle things up. I’m not gonna lie, I am a little gutted. You try and keep a thick skin, which you need to when entering competitions, but it’s always tough as an artist as we all put our hearts and souls into our work.

But I am very proud of what I have created, and looking back how much my work and style has improved and matured so much since this time last year.

I feel like I couldn’t have done any more. I was very happy with my representation of the ‘Animal Kingdom Glam’ theme, I was happy with my level of creativity, feel like I incorporated technical ability and was very proud of my final product with the video quality. I wouldn’t do anything different if I were to do it again as I was so proud of what I created. So at least rather than the old me who would think ‘why am I not good enough’, it’s quite nice to see that I am super proud of my work whether I place or not these days.

And of course my personal journey may be over, but there’s still the amazing awards bash! Thankyou @nyxcosmetics_uk for allowing me to be a part of this again and for being so generous again.

And, there’s always next year still. Third times a charm eh? 🤔😂🙈💕

To all those through to the next stage, good luck and enjoy the ride!

I really enjoyed having something to work and focus on.. now I need to find something new for this summer. Any ideas?
