Hello again, I don't know if you remember the betta from my mother's work that I told you about, but the co worker that "took care" of him is leaving and my mom is going to ask if we can take him. While I don't know if we will get him yet, or if he'll even be alive in a month still, until I know I want to go on the assumption that I will have him. His fin rot is so severe it's almost body rot, but I've never had to treat fin rot that bad and I'm not sure where I would start. Any tips? Thank you.

I hope you can get the poor little fellow. If the fin rot is severe and very close to the body, you’ll want to hit him with antibacterials. Usually, if the infection’s just started, you can keep it at bay with clean water and milder treatments, but if it’s progressed too much, it needs to be dealt with more quickly and harshly.

He looked back up at the woman, and sighed. “If it is, do you really want to be standing there asking the man with blood covered hands, what is on his hands?” He quipped, thankful that the victim wasn’t in the room with them, but just outside the door behind him. He had thought he was alone, but then again there was very rarely a time when Lucifer couldn’t talk his way out of trouble. He found an old washcloth and started wiping off his hands. 

He looked down at his shirt to see splatter across it. “This was my favorite shirt.” He murmured. He straightened up, his hands as clean as they were going to be. “Have we met?” He added casually.

I'm about to be away from Apollo for ten days and I'm so nervous. I've never been away from him for so long. My mother and grandparents are all okay with looking after him, but I'm scared that something will happen when I'm gone. ;-;

awwww it’ll be alright!!! i remember your story about how your fam loves your betta, and they know how important your boy is to you, they will take good care of him!!! 10 days isn’t too long, even though it might feel that way because of how much you’ll miss him. The words that followed were not what she expected, neither parties had any choice on who they were to marry.
