"They're not canon" has to be the worst take in shipping discourse. As if they aren't self-identified as fanon, along with just about every other aspect of fandom that isn't Strictly Canon Compliant™.

Canon to fandom is merely a suggestion that is routinely ignored, and it's a pill that has to be swallowed at some point in every participants journey. That canon couple also never went to high school together, never worked at the same law firm, never flew across the universe in a spaceship to save planet earth, and definitely never ran into each other in a meet-cute coffeeshop setting, no matter how in character they feel.

"They're not canon." We know. That's why we write fanfiction about it.

O Nyah! é um querido dos fanfiqueiros BR.

3. Archive of our own

O o3 é uma plataforma também voltada para fanfics, apesar de você também poder postar conteúdo original.

4. Spirit Fanfiction

Um site similar ao Wattpad, onde você pode postar suas histórias. Eles têm um plano premium onde você não vê anúncios e pode postar ilimitadamente.

5. Inkitt

Este site permite que autores compartilhem seus textos e recebam feedback, similar ao Wattpad. Se você escreve em inglês ou espanhol, pode ser uma boa opção.

Atenção! É bom lembrar que com o grande sucesso do Wattpad, algumas empresas tentaram entrar no ramo e não conseguiram obter sucesso, e acabaram fechando o serviço. Alguns sites semelhantes saíram do ar (widbook, fanfic.net, sweek, para citar alguns exemplos), então não confie seu manuscrito à nenhum site. Tenha sempre cópias de segurança, e saiba que plataformas vem e vão.

The question tumbled out before Nyah could contain it, a desperate plea for absolution. "Is he dead because of me? Was Sebastian your target because he came into Adeline's shop that day?"

Jonathan's response was a firm shake of his head. "You never crossed paths with Sebastian Verlac, Nyah. This has always been about me and you."

Nyah closed her eyes for a moment as a tremor of relief moved through her. Sebastian's death wasn't her fault. It wasn't a consequence of her twisted connection to Jonathan. That meant something, but it wasn't enough to absolve him and that was breaking her heart.
