2024 Nutcracker season is upon us and the theme this year given to us once again by the lovely @artsynoova. The theme being a masquerade and while I would love to draw Hardt absolutely throwing a fit about going to a social event, ya'll get their outfits instead. Cause that was a fun and delightful challenge that I am very proud of myself for doing.

On the 8th day of Christmas (nutcracker season 2022), my true love gave to me… Time with Herr Drosselmeyer!  Singing aside. Here is my mix between the first prompt and the 8th. Haritas found his way to a stranger’s house, feeling pulled to it as if he would find answers to questions he had yet to ask. But inside, he found a kind man, calling himself Herr Drosselmeyer. The magical man showed him that he was far from the only nutcracker in the world. Haritas was in awe, it was as if his colours returned to him, like something suddenly had purpose. Will Haritas meet these other souls Drosselmeyer speaks of? Will he find new friends and find a place to call home? Even if they’re already well acquainted, and are very similar, Seb and Hardt just can’t seem to help but get into fights. At least Abel is there to try and break them up.

Day 19: { Hardt }

~Time was ticking against Hollyberry and Hardt As The two are faced with a Clockwork problem. The mechanism had been tampered with and Now this Grandfather Clock was a Giant death trap! It’s about time Holly put his Super A.I to the test, But he had to be careful also! One wrong move and Hardt will be sliced into a nutcracker for two. ~

Hollyberry: “....Which one.. if I choose the wrong wire this whole place will explode...”

Hardt: “ Little man, I don’t mean to rush you- But I’d rather not be sliced in Half-! ”

Hollyberry: “Let’s just hope my intuition is right-!”

Hardt: “... After today, I think I’ve had my fair share of clocks and Critters..”

Hollyberry; gently pricking his digits on the clockwork soldiers sword: “Tell me about it..”

Hardt; Ruffling Holly’s hair: “Neither the less, I appreciate you coming to my rescue.”

Hollyberry: “ No problem, I’ll always be there to help when I can.”

This year, I’m turning all the nutcrackers into whatever animal chosen by their creators, with an added bit of holiday flare!

On day 19, we have @gruvu‘s Hardt as a leucistic Elk sporting a lovely wreath! For those wondering how he got it past his antlers, it comes apart as two parts, a clip-on.
