Full of good additions in notes. Adding:
Struggling to socialize because need one routine place to do it.
That one place hard to leave if unsafe/uncomfortable because need routine same.
Having to bring a whole bag of sensory & communication equipment (and any medical things for comorbid conditions) just to leave the house for 5 minutes.
Massive fear of loss and abandonment due to consistent loss and abandonment.
Being an easy & vulnerable target for abuse
Higher likelihood of neglect because of more needs than average person. Even if your family is trying hard.
Comorbid stomach issues restricting diet further on top of sensory difficulties with eating.
Judgement for constant need for comfort items with you.
Stares in public.
Struggling to keep friends, especially when you can’t recognize your own emotions until they overflow. So instead of reinforcing broken boundaries you just snap.
Hygiene. All of it, any of it. It’s difficult
Having to bandage injuries from stimming which makes sensory stuff worse which makes more stimming that’s potentially harmful.
Pain or fatigue from even safe stimming because of comorbid chronic pain
Trying to make friends but running out of energy so quickly.
There’s more but can’t figure out wording it
Lets talk about the not so pleasant parts of Autism
This post is not to say that aren't good things about being autistic or that every autistic will have my experience. Let's just not forget that this is a disability that needs to be taken seriously no matter the person. Any autistic person is welcome to add on the the list.
I'll start with my struggles:
Violent meltdowns
Public meltdowns
VERY poor hygiene the the point of needing teeth removed and hair loss
Constant loneliness and felling depressed from it
Co-occuring conditions like personality disorders, ptsd, depression, psychosis, etc
Mourning the childhood and friends you never had
Blatant bullying
Feeling like you will never make your family proud
Rejected by family, society, medical system, literally everyone
Being taken advantage of (including SA)
Constantly putting yourself in danger
EDs and malnourishment from dietary habits
Knowing that others are purposely leaving you out
Being called homeless and other names for stimming and wearing comfy attire
Sensory issues make you feel like your skin wants to remove itself
Sensory issues making you miss important or fun events
Knowing that you may never be independent
Being belittled
Self injurious stims and low self esteem from it
Embarrassment 101
No privacy
Constant painful state of confusion
Being mocked for how you communicate
Fear of being judged for alternative forms of communication
Needing assistance to just maintain a healthy shower schedule
Having to follow very specific routines to the point of possibly putting yourself in danger if you don't follow them
...and these are just some things. This is the not so pleasant part of what I go through on a daily basis as an autistic. This list can go on forever because autism comes in many "shapes and sizes". Any autistics of any level, if you want, please add on to this list to show that autistic isn't a quirk and can have some seriously hard to live with sides.

Zane: laurance has to walk past my house on his way to work
Zane: I like to stand on my front porch with a hammer to let him know if he goes a millimetre on my yard I’m hitting him with it
Zane: he’s had to outrun me six times. He’s only escaped because I have asthma. If Irene didn’t weigh me down with it I would’ve caught him
—
Laurance: I fucking hate garroths brother

Is why I usually point out that a neurotypical is a term better described as an abstract idea- the idea of a typical brain (and therefore person) is going to vary and like you said, everyone’s wired in different ways. I know there’s complicated reasonings for things but I do heavily relate to the upset I feel when people blame “neurotypicals” when really they’re just interacting with at best people who don’t know how to communicate in a non-violent manner and at worst are horribly abusive.
You also just can’t know when someone is neurotypical or not. I see people complaining about their family being horrible neurotypicals and missing the fact that they probably tell them that the stuff their struggling is just life because that’s what they were told.
On top of that, healthy people don’t hear “I’m struggling with [Thing You Don’t Struggle With]” and go “you’re dumb and that’s stupid and I don’t believe you.” They stop and they listen. Someone doing that doesn’t make them not disabled it just makes them a dick.
It also like you said is a new kind of aspie supremacy mindset- the idea that neurodivergent people are Perfect and Not Mean, therefore making anyone who ever hurts your feelings or invalidates you non-disabled instead of you know. Another person in the world trying to navigate life that you’re not the psychologist of?
neurodiversity, aspie supremacy, and the neurotypical "hate group"
autism influencers (who are usually aspie supremacists or at least spread ideas about how autism is "just a neurotype" or "just a different way of thinking") have created a bizarre strawman of the neurotypical.
the neurotypical, to these people, is hollow, deranged, aggressive, out to get you, bigoted, ill-willed, close minded, stupid, regressive, unable to think outside of their tiny box, and, again, most importantly, they're out to get you.
it's such an in-group out-group mentality meant to divide us and dehumanize neurotypicals, i'm surprised nobody has called it out at all. these autistics (who are almost exclusively white, level 1, usually self diagnosed, and cis) have taken their experiences of growing up with a neurological disorder that was not understood by their peers, and projected them onto an entire population of people that had nothing to do with it.
...it's almost like the reverse of ableism, except these people are also ableist as well. they will claim they support higher needs autistics, but will spread beliefs about autism, how we're more special and unique and evolved than our neurotypical peers, with the subtle implication that we're more evolved than our higher support needs peers as well.
these people exactly the reason why i don't involve myself in the neurodivergent community, and why i don't use the word neurodivergent for myself. the idea of neurodivergence is already based off of aspie supremacy beliefs - "we don't have a disorder, we are just different/wired differently, we have a unique way of thinking" which sounds innocent at first until you consider what this is really saying.
"we don't have a disorder" -> advocating for the removal of autism from the DSM because it's "not a disorder," treating autism as exclusively an identity
"we are just different" -> "different" usually used as a euphemism for better, "we are wired differently" -> pseudoscientific and misleading belief that all neurotypical brains are the same, again leading to an in-group mentality, where neurotypicals are all "npcs" and autistics see the world for how it "really" is
"we have a unique way of thinking" -> as opposed to what? as opposed to who? again, treating people as monoliths - everyone has a unique way of thinking. there is nothing exceptional about the way autistics think. there are some benefits and downsides to how our brains work, just like everybody else.
...when you view an entire population as defective and evil just because of the way they were born, we'd usually call that bigotry. why is it any different when this rhetoric is used against neurotypicals?

I’m forever appreciative of the fact that Dungeon Meshi, a manga that is generally beloved by many demographics and has a broad mainstream appeal’s generally lost popularity and evocative fandom ship is a lesbian one
That rarely happens outside of shows that are at least nominally subtextual or outright yuri, but despite Meshis obvious cues that drive that ship the story itself is FAR from centered on romance or sexuality in any way which further distances it from that
It’s pretty often that m/m pairings become the breakaway hits even in mainstream series but really think about how many huge, broadly appealing stories end up with women as the most prominent? It’s not often.
And there’s just something very fulfilling about the normality of that, where it’s popular enough to piss people off and make people unreasonably change their minds about the story because they’re annoyed the biggest ship is femslash, or in support of it
Just satisfies me, yknow? And I get to forever laugh at the people who think they’re oppressed because they ship het or yaoi for ONCE in their lives having to see two women kiss most often instead of their usual shonen anime boys

yes. often. i will spit out an answer/response that’s often things i haven’t even thought about. they overwhelm me and everything in me has to disagree so quickly. i feel fucking angry when everyone’s having an opinion.
it’s not always, sometimes it’s okay. i think it’s worse when it’s something i don’t already have a strong and/or thought out opinion on.
any other pdaers automatically take the position that goes against what everyone else is saying? as a way to resist doing something just because everyone else is doing it.
for example, tonight an athlete did something rude during a sports game, and my family were all talking about how rude it was, and looking up comments online about how rude it was, and my brain decided I needed to defend this man and argue against everyone else. Another example is if someone is telling me why a certain movie is so bad, my brain automatically starts analyzing for reasons I can argue against that. "But this aspect of it was good," etc. When I know logically it would be better and friendlier to NOT argue everyone's opinions. Idk.
my brain has done this since I was little, even when it's in defense of something that was obviously a bad choice. I end up not knowing when something is actually good or not, because my intuition is sometimes led by avoidance.
I think my pda is getting triggered by feeling like someone is manipulating me into a certain opinion.
I've gotten much better about it over the years, mostly by keeping my mouth shut until the conversation has moved on. "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all," has been a lifesaving mantra for not irritating everyone all the time. Also I type up my rants in my notes app to let off steam.

My ✹fairy godfather✹ randomly came over today, told me he nearly ran someone over on his way to a gig (he’s in a rock band) and he just played the bass with 2 dislocated fingers, then crashed the car into a barrel on his way home???

Parental abuse isn’t the only thing that’s traumatizing. Trauma isn’t define by the event. Trauma is how your brain reacts/experiences the event!
TRAUMA IS HOW YOUR BRAIN REACTS/EXPERIENCES THE EVENT
Just because you weren’t abused at all (or in obvious ways) doesn’t mean you cannot have trauma!
Trauma is defined as the emotional consequences to a distressing event! What’s distressing to one person will not be the same as what’s distressing to another!
Stop gaslighting yourself, what you went through is “enough” if you we’re traumatized by it!

There are two primary ways of using the phrase 異ăȘă‚‹æ™‚é–“è»ž, as far as I can tell: a parallel timeline, or a different period of the same timeline
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet uses both translations at different points in the script.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Worth noting: when the professor is transported through time themselves and one of their hypotheses is that they've been sent to an alternate timeline, they use a completely different phrase:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Is this meaningful? Unclear. It is slightly strange that they change their vocabulary when they unambiguously refer to alternate timelines, but not strange enough to conclude that they weren't talking about alternate timelines before. The professor's journal points toward a genuine time loop, but nothing contradicts the other interpretation)
(Is this bad translation? No.)
