This audio has made me finally add the Brothers Ever to the For Funsies AU and now I have ✨️headcanons✨️ that I will share under the cut. Mainly about the Brothers Ever repairing their relationship

Jack is babysat by other Servants when Dr. Mary isn't able to keep a close eye on them. Which I've had this headcanon for a while anyway so we LOVE things adding together

Both Arjuna and Karna are some of the few who are trusted to watch Jack outside of Dr. Mary's team (who knows how this happened. Although I like to imagine them being good with kids XD)

This causes Jack to see the two as their older brothers

I imagine in this situation, Jack notices the tension/lack of interacting the two have whenever they're around each other. Additionally the way they look at each other and the general "don't get along" vibes

In the audio + this situation, Jack questions this and offers advice because they want their brothers to get along.

This leads to Karna taking the advice seriously :3 I like to imagine Karna actually holding a tea party and they eventually have a long Talk and slowly after start to get along better and be closer. Obviously there's still the teasing and general sibling bickering, but there isn't that discomfort anymore (idk a better word than discomfort, my brain is NOT braining this week RIP)

This also gives the concept of Arjuna, Karna, and Billy the Kid hanging out with/babysitting together Jack and Nusery Rhyme. And I think that's wonderful

Also possibly the three team up with my AU's version of Enkidu, Gil, and Opera Phantom? Since En, Gil, and Opera have a babysitting business? OwO

if you have not watched the movie, you should, its so cool. however please just skip this post and blacklist the spoiler tag if you can.

ok so this movie somehow is so actiony anf fun while still having good use of themes in a literary sense i guess. the backgrounds and general art direction was so beautiful. like it was sooo cool.

puss learning not to fear commitment or death was an amazing arc for him to go through

but it isn't only puss who has an arc either. mostly everyone who wants the wish has some sort of development over time too.

might as well start off with the exception of the wish wanters, Jack Horner. Definitely an interesting source to pull from for a Villain. The fact that he is from a nusery rhyme instead of a full fairytale is also brought up. He is a spoilt boy alright and the 2nd most threatening villain I guess. Funny how theres a villain in both movies called Jack lol.

the dog (forgot his new name, i am not the best with those sorry). subjected to the horrors but is clueless. a very good therapy dog. I like him.

Uh i guess next kitty softpaws. not much to say. she does some cool stuff. probably wrong to say this, but i just find it funny how her conflict with puss is because he ran away from their wedding, idk why sorry.

To finish off the wish wanters, Goldi(locks) <3 <3 <3 >//w//<. Her story as an orphan is so sad and her goal of getting her original family is just very sad and quite impactful. I love how she realises her family was the one who adopted her and helping her. The found family trope is just ydheiebeusj yeah i like it very much. I'm not giving the bears their own paragraph, but I like how they all have their own traits and personality and all have their dynamics with each other (including goldi). I also adore how they accept that Goldi wants to reunite with her most likely deceased parents. However she still gives that up to save her family and realises the thing i said sentences ago (sorry this post is just rambles not very organised). Her voice is so uhh idk how to describe it, but i love it. Everything about her is so pretty, her hair, her face, her dress, her most likely stolen jewelery, it just makes me GRHEKVEJOVSHOVHIWVCJDJGSUCWJNGSUXB. I love her. Kissing her rn....

finishing off, Death. that guy. The physical form of it, nothing metaphorical about it. Definitely very threatening. The fact they don't appear again after the first fight until puss is adventuring again is a neat detail and could most likely be analysed more by higher skilled people in that sort of thing. The resolution for him was pretty good. You can't kill death but you can accept it.

I don't understand number scales so I will give it a "pretty Amazing so cool Has pretty girl" out of Perfect i guess

I think the mutuals I know are all tagged by now, so. ^^; Consider yourself tagged? This was a snippet short prompt I had from my mind this week that I wrote for myself and I’m an absolute horrible person and this was written in very rought drafts, and no I don’t write fanfics because I’m terrible at writing chapter storytellings lmao.

Tarn took another step forward with a hum, which sounded far too eerily soft for her likings. Roxana continued to whimper fearfully and her spark ached painfully with her optics searched frantically for an escape. He stared down at her, like his optics bore through her processor, "Twinkle, twinkle, little star…"

Roxana's optics widened in horror as Tarn began to sing a known human lullaby to her--enough to send her off into a slumber land as fatigue creeping in caused by his modified vocal processor--no, she needed to stay awake and get away from this horrid Decepticon.

He lowered down on one knee while he watched amusedly at Roxana battled desperately to keep her optics open and struggled to fight off his lullaby, he smiled at his handiwork that effectively took a toll on her and continued, he reached his servo out slowly to carry her up, "How I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high. Like a diamond in the sky."

"N-no, p-please, s-stop…." Roxana made a weak stammer as her eyelids threatened to drop and her mind desperately pleaded for help and screamed for her guardian’s name.

"Shh." Tarn lifted a digit up to his mask in a hushed tone, "Sleep."

11. what you have for breakfast on an average day? either two slices of toast with jam or a bowl of cereal depending on the mood. lily sent me raspberry peach jam and it is the best jam i have ever had in my life and has ruined all other jams/jellies for me but i only have a jar left so i'm trying to make it go far.

20. preferred place to write (i.e., in a note book, on your laptop, sketchpad, post-it notes, etc.)? i thought this meant physical location (the right corner of the couch in the living room, i am there right now) but I write fic on google docs on my laptop! i absolutely hate writing on my phone, i would rather not write at all than write on my phone, and I do some writing in notebooks but the vast majority is google docs via my laptop.

43. hoodie, leather jacket, cardigan, jean jacket or bomber jacket? hoodie! i wear so many hoodies. i live in sweatshirts. cardigans make me a little nervous because i'm not the best at figuring out what shirt i can wear that will go with them, and conceptually i like jean jackets and bomber jackets but i do not have one

55. favorite fairy tale? oooooooo ummmmmm let's see. maybe red riding hood. i had a period of time where i was really into fairy tales (my sister and i wrote a movie where they were all jumbled, i wrote a play where fairy tales and nusery rhymes are jumbled) OH WAIT as i was writing this i remembered rumpelstiltskin. i do really like that one. also the youth circus i'm obsessed with did a summer show with the concept that baba yaga shakes up a whole bunch of fairy tales and they have to relive them and 1. geppetto had my favorite line in the whole thing because the rumpelstiltskin princess was asking if anyone had seen her baby and he was up on the tightrope and was like "have you seen my pinocchio? i lost my baby too" and i almost cried. genuinely. 2. they created a new princess named apricot crumble who was best friends with jack of jack and the beanstock (they had a Really Cool duo straps routine) 4. the youth circus did a show based on grimm fairy tales specifically in 2011 that was my first exposure to circus in general and my favorite routine in that was the silks routine that red riding hood did in the woods 4. not related to the circus but on the topic of baba yaga: we adapted baba yaga for the arts carnival with the nightmare internship so now i have so many conflicting feelings about baba yaga lol

anyway. all that to say: i'm pretty sure it's rumpelstiltskin, but i also really like red riding hood

56. favorite tradition? well since Christmas is coming up, i love the tradition of watching home alone 1 or 2 on christmas eve! these days i have to force my siblings into it but i refuse to let this tradition die.

98. favorite historical era? okay so not to be That Person but the world wars are super fascinating to me. specifically the political climate that led to and then came out of wwi!!!! that's my jam!!! so world war i is my favorite event to learn about, but as far as era, probably the 1940s. i did a presentation on 1940s fashion for my costume design class and i really enjoyed learning about the era
