short quick PSA: all big bix stores, especially orange or blue ones, have an area where you can bring back flower pots.

the secret they don't tell you is that you can also take them away for free. they stay there until customers take it, they don't actually recycle them.

this is how i grew all my transplants in my first 2 years of business. hopping from box store to box store collecting pots and holders. hope this helps someone else 💚
