Leah and you have been a couple for almost two years now, even if you managed to get it hidden for now. You always had something for the girl to be honest, but when you met Leah, she was already with Jordan and you weren’t really a couple breaker. Sure, it hurts sometimes to see her happy with someone else, but at least she was happy and that’s all that matters for you.

You tried to forget her by sleeping around or having a girlfriend yourself, but nothing really worked. You usually dated people away from the football world, not wanting to mix your professional life with your private life. It happened that you slept with other players though, but never in your team or with them being friends with one of your friends.

With that state of mind, it was hard to find someone to sleep with, but at least you were out of trouble.

Well, that’s what you thought until today.

Leah and you aren’t playing for the same team, she was born at Arsenal while you travel a lot during your career. You started in Manchester City, then you went to Lyon, then to Bayern and since last season you have been back in Manchester City. You like it here and it was easier to live your relationship with Leah that way.

You are together when you are playing for your national team though, you have been the number one goalkeeper of the team for years now. Leah is back from her injury and is now back in national camp too.

Sarina knows that you are together, like all your teammates. The only people who don’t know are the public. You are friends with a lot of Lionesses, so when you are spotted with Leah and some of your friends, no one really puts two and two together. Meado tease you a lot about it, but in reality, you aren’t fan of PDA anyway and so is Leah. Maybe not like you are with your friends, but it’s another discussion.

Back to today, you are playing against Italy for the qualification of the next international championship. After your World Cup and the fact that you weren’t qualified for the Olympics Games, all your team wants to show that you are still here and deserve to win the Euro back in 2022.

You were doing the pitch inspection, casually talking with Lucy and LJ when you heard someone calling your name. Leah, as always, wasn’t far away from you with Keira and Georgia.

“Y/N?”

You turn without really thinking in the direction of the voice, just to be faced with a girl that you actually slept with several months ago. To be honest, it was just before you got in a relationship with Leah. You hate to admit it, but you kind of ghost that poor girl after that, way too happy to finally be with the girl you were in love with.

“Oh, hi Milena” you say nervously.

You even have forgotten that she’s in fact from Italy and you will be facing her today. You can see Lucy exchanging an intrigued look with LJ next to you while the girl keeps walking in your direction.

“I’m happy to see you” she says when she’s in front of you.

You don’t have time to answer before she hugs you and your arms automatically surround her waist to give her back her embrace. If your arms very quickly drop from her body, one of her hands stays in your arm.

You probably never have been so uncomfortable during the rest of your life. You can feel Leah burning gaze on your back.

“How are you? I think we haven't talked for like two years” she laughs.

“Oh, uh. I’m good thanks” you mumble.

“You look good indeed” she smirks.

You deal very badly with cringe, to be honest. So, you are particularly relieved when Lucy passes her arm around your shoulders before talking.

“We have to go back inside” Lucy says, nodding towards the locker room.

In fact, when you look around, you realise that almost all your teammates are already inside. That excuse is perfect after all. You mumble a “See you later” before letting Lucy take you out of the pitch.

Lucy and LJ manage to wait to be out of your ex’s ear before bursting into laughter. You suppose you must be grateful to them for that.

“What was that?” Lauren asks while Lucy is still laughing like crazy.

“Nothing” you roll your eyes.

“She doesn’t look like nothing” Lucy smirks when she can breathe again.

“Be careful with what you say, or Ona will receive a strange text from me, explaining how you find other girls not nothing” you frown.

She suddenly shuts up, her face becoming way more serious. It makes you smile. You never saw Lucy so whipped for a girl before. But you know that your friends deserve an explanation. You sigh softly before starting your explanation.

“It’s a girl I slept with before Leah kissed me at that party, and we got together. I was still in the process of forgetting her. I met that girl before the Euro and well… You know” you shrug. “But then after the semi-finales we got together with Leah, after that she hurt her ACL and I kind of totally forgot that girl.”

LJ hums after your explanation, nodding softly. You can see that your explanation makes sense for both of them which is great because it’s nothing but the truth.

“Leah was boiling” Lucy informs you.

You grimace at this. You were pretty sure that she would react that way. You never realise how Leah can be jealous before being with her. You like it actually, fond of the way she wants to be sure that you are hers and no one can take you away from her.

But here and now aren’t exactly the right place to show her that she is your only one.

You are nervous when you enter the changing room, looking for your girlfriend. You finally see her sitting in Georgia’s cubby. Her eyes are burning when she crosses your gaze after you enter the locker room.

Lucy goes sit on her cubby, just next to yours, while LJ goes on hers too. You want to talk to Leah, but Georgia’s non-verbal language makes you think that you better not approach Leah for now.

That girl is really scary when she wants to.

Keira’s gaze is softer and it’s what makes you walk in their direction. Lucy was right, Leah seems furious.

“Can we talk?” you ask softly when you reach them.

“No” Georgia answers harshly.

“Georgia” Keira sighs.

“Leah?” you try again, trying to cross your girlfriend’s gaze. “Please?”

She sighs and throws the towel she was holding in the cubby while standing up. She doesn’t answer really, but you follow her anyway when she walks to leave the room. You don’t really know where you are going at first, until she turns to enter in a closet.

“What do you want to talk about?” Leah asks harshly just after you close the door.

You are a little bit taken aback. You know what you want to talk about of course, but you don’t know how to start. You are sure that if you say that you know she’s jealous, she will deny it and that it will be the end of the conversation. This is not what you want.

“I just wanted to know if you are okay” you tentatively say.

“Why wouldn’t I be?”

She has now her arms crossed and her famous frown on her face. You know how hard it would be to have something from this conversation.

“Because you seem angry”

Leah snorts and looks at the handle of the door. She putted her hands on her hips now and is shaking her head.

“Am I supposed to be happy when my girlfriend is getting flirted with by someone else?”

“No, that is why I wanted to talk to you too. I just…”

“Do you know her?” Leah cuts you.

This time her eyes are deep inside yours and you know that you can’t lie to her. It wasn’t something you wanted to do anyway, but with her eyes scanning your soul, it would have been impossible.

“I… We slept together some time ago” you finally sigh.

“When?”

“Just before the Euros”

You know that Leah knows perfectly that your first kiss happened after the semi-finals against Sweden and the happiness of the victory. You were the first shocked when she kissed you after some naughty dancing, but you kissed her back and the rest of the night probably made her understand very much how much you were fancying her already.

It’s even stronger now, of course.

But Leah is looking at you like she’s going to kill you.

“Don’t look at me like that, Le. I didn't know that several weeks later you would kiss me. I didn’t know you were interested in me at this point.”

You try to take her hand with yours, but she takes it away from you, before opening the door again.

“Well you can go back fucking her in that case”

“Leah!”

She slams the door, almost pinning your fingers inside. When you manage to get outside too, Leah isn’t here anymore. You decide to go back to the training room and try to talk to her again, but when you arrive, Sarina is right behind you, asking you to go training.

You aren’t really concentrating during the training to be honest; you keep looking at Leah, but she doesn’t. She doesn’t even share a look with you when you are right behind her at the beginning of the game.

You really hope that a win will ease her mood and help you to reconcile with Leah. You turn when you feel a tap on your shoulder, turning your bigger frame towards Keira. She just smiles at you, and you nod only. You are too nervous to smile, but you are glad to know that you have at least one of Leah’s friends on your side. You are sure that Leah explained everything to them.

You take a deep breath when it’s time to go on the pitch, trying to focus on the game. The national anthems help you and you keep a straight face when you check all the Italian players, even Milena.

You do your usual check with Lucy too, looking for good luck before starting the game. England is supposed to be the favourites, but Italy is fighting with all their strength. Your forwards manage to have good opportunities, but without being able to score for now.

After the first half, no one scored, and you had to use some of your best moves to avoid taking a goal or two.

You just nod when Sarina congratulates you in the locker room. Leah is still not looking at you, as if you weren’t even here. It creates a strange feeling in your throat. You are happy that Lucy is just next to you, even if she’s not talking, your friend’s presence is good for you.

When the game starts again, you realise with anxiety that Milena and her other teammates change their side, meaning that Leah is the one marking Milena from now.

But Leah manages to take the upper hand on Milena every single time, using with ability her slide tackles. You are happy when Alessia finally manages to score around the seventy minutes.

Five minutes later, Sarina made all the different changes she was planning to, leaving Lucy and Leah in the defence but changing Millie and Maya in the same move. You don’t have a lot of time to get used to that though, because soon Italy won a corner, and you have to focus again on the game.

You can’t really explain what happened. Your eyes were on the ball when the Italian player shot it in the middle of the surface. But the knock you received on your head suddenly makes everything dizzy and you fall on the ground without really realising it.

There is a wheezing and everything else sounds like you were underwater. You feel hands on you, someone slapping your cheek, two fingers looking for your pulse in your neck.

You don’t know if it’s because it’s Leah or if it’s because she’s screaming right above your head, but you hear her distinctly shout

“Don’t fucking touch her! Let her breathe!”

And the panic in her voice finally makes you open your eyes. It’s the same feeling when you are sleepy, and Leah wakes you after you fall asleep in front of a movie to go to bed. Your eyes are heavy, the light is too bright too. You wince and close your eyes almost as soon as you open them, pressing your hand on your head.

“Y/N? Hey Baby, can you hear me?”

Leah’s voice is softer than you ever heard it, and you groan for only an answer. Your head is pounding.

“Can you roll on your back?”

You recognize the voice of one of the people from the medical team. You groan once more and roll on the ground, lying now on your back. You warily open your eyes, thankful that someone is hiding the lights of the pitch with their frame. You frown softly when you realise that it’s Milena

“I’m sorry Y/N, I wasn’t looking where I was going and…”

“It’s okay” Leah cuts her harshly. “She needs to get looked at; can you leave?”

You perfectly see the staff member smile at each other before turning their attention to you again.

They ask you several questions, make you sit, look at their fingers and look at a light too. It’s not an enjoyable experience to be honest, it hurts, and you have trouble staying focused.

“I think it’s a concussion” one of them finally says. “It would be better for you to get out of the pitch.”

“No” you frown. “Sarina made all the substitutions already. I can’t leave.”

“Of course you can” Leah interjects. “No one would blame you. It’s safer like th– “

“Leah. I’m playing.”

Her light blue eyes went right into your eyes. You don’t look away, Leah might be stubborn, but you are too when you really want something. And you want to play, you want to prove to her that she can count on you no matter what. You know you have hurt her and maybe bummed after your revelation earlier. You want to take amend of that.

When she opens her mouth to answer, you look at the medical staff.

“Am I allowed to play?”

They hesitate for several seconds, looking at you silently.

“If I let you play, you have to swear that if you don’t feel good, or dizzy, or tired, you will stop the game and get out of the pitch. Can we make this deal?”

You nod and he nods back, before helping you to get up. You take some water from the bottle he gave you, splashing some of it on your face too. You feel tired to be honest and the lights are killing you. But you are determined to end this game.

“Y/N.”

You turn in Leah’s direction and it’s easy to see the concern in her eyes. You smile softly at her while your teammates and the opposite team are coming back on the pitch.

“I’ll be fine, Leah”

She sighs and you feel her gaze on you when you go back to the goal. You don’t see her or hear her turning to the players around her, telling them not to let anyone come near your goal.

They manage to do it greatly to be honest, and you are glad for it. You have to make some intervention, like grabbing the ball in the air for example. Jumping was fine, but the shock when you fall on the ground is harsh.

When the whistle of the referee finally sounds, signalling the end of the game, you are more relieved than ever. Closing your eyes, you let your tired body sliding along one of the two posts on your goal.

“You’re alright mate?”

You don’t open your eyes but nod at Lucy’s question, feeling her hand on your shoulder without seeing it.

“Do you need help to get up?”

“Please” you mumble.

She makes you stand as easily as you were a 5-year-old child, making you smile softly. You thank Maya with gratefulness when she gives you your things waiting behind the goal and slowly make your way to the locker room.

You look around to see where Leah is, which isn’t missed by Beth who is walking on your other side.

“She’s answering some questions for the TV” the blonde informs you.

You groan and drink more water, still walking. Pretty slowly, you must admit. But you feel dizzy, and you sigh internally when you see Milena running in your direction.

“Hey” she says, with her Italian accent. “Look, I'm very sorry. How are you feeling?”

“I’ll be okay, don’t worry” you answer with a soft smile. “I’ll need some rest tonight and maybe tomorrow, but other than that it’s okay.”

You watch her bite her lips, like if she’s thinking about something to say. And how to say it. You really hope that she won’t ask you out now, because you don’t have the energy to deal with it right now.

“Can I write to you tomorrow? To know how you are feeling. I really feel very guilty”

You were going to answer something, but you were interrupted by an arm sneaking around your waist and a body suddenly pressed against yours.

“She will post an update on her Instagram tomorrow. And don’t worry for her, she’s between great hands” Leah says, before looking at you. “Are you okay to leave, Babe?”

You repress a smile and take a small breath.

“Yeah, let’s go. See you”

You give a smile to Milena, who you feel sorry for. You know that she never meant to hurt you, but Leah seems to take her for the only responsible of the accident.

“You know that I wasn’t looking either?” you mumble to Leah.

“It doesn’t matter. Sarina told me we can leave now; the staff asked for a taxi so we don’t have to wait on anyone. Would you like to shower in your hotel room rather than here?”

“Sounds good” you mumble again.

In a record time, Leah manages to take all your things and put them in your two bags, change herself in a training suit and help you to do the same. You are starting to feel tired and dozens in the cab on Leah’s shoulder.

“Baby you have to wake up. I can’t carry you in your room” Leah whispers when you are in front of the hotel, gently kissing your temple.

Usually, you love the fact that you are higher than Leah. You love how she easily fits in your arms, how you can hold her and feel like you are protecting her from everything and everyone.

But right now, you really would love for her to be able to carry you.

She does a bit though, holding you firmly against her while you are going to the lift and then to your room. You let yourself fall on the bed when you arrive inside your room, letting Leah deal with your bags and everything else.

“Come on Baby, we have to wash the game out of you. Then you can go in bed until the staff members come again”

“I just want to sleep” you groan.

“I know. But you will feel better.”

You do feel better, Leah is right. She helps you to take your shower, affectionately dry you with a towel after, help you to put fresh pajamas on and then even brush your teeth and your hair.

She then takes a quick shower too and it’s with wet hair and in one of your t-shirts that she opens the door of your room for the staff. The t-shirt easily covers her smaller frame, the tissue going until her knees.

They make some more tests on you, asking several questions to Leah too. You have trouble staying focused, but only because you are very tired. You don’t hear them leaving, opening your eyes again when you feel the bed move when Leah crawls on it.

“Are you sure you’re not in pain?”

You hum, snuggling against her warm body. They gave you some morphine earlier anyway. Leah lets you do it and you sigh happily when she starts to stroke your neck with her fingers.

“I’m sorry for the way I reacted because of your ex”

Leah’s whisper takes you by surprise. You probably almost never heard Leah saying that she was sorry for something so serious. Opening your eyes again, you search hers.

“I’m sorry for the way you learned it” you whisper back. “But it has nothing to do with you. It was before knowing you could be in any way interested in me. I was still in my “Forgetting Leah” era”

Leah chuckles and you smile hearing that sound. You close your eyes again, the tiredness being more and more hard to fight against.

“I’m glad you never managed to get over me” Leah says after some silence, playing with your hair.

“I will never be able to get over you”

You feel like your voice is low and your words aren’t very well articulated, but Leah seems to understand very easily what you are saying.

“I was hoping to” Leah mumbles too. “Now sleep, you little menace.”

You groan softly once again, making Leah smile. You happily let her kiss your face several times, finishing with your lips. You manage to whisper that you love her and it seems to you that Leah say it back, but you are not really sure. Because you are already asleep then.

Imagine poly!141 except it's also an actor au and nobody knows they're poly so everyone including other cast members, fans, staff, hell even the director are all trying to piece together who's dating who and betting on it. It's the number one most discussed topic of gossip, and I personally think it would be hilarious if Valeria and Milena are discussing who they think Ghost likes but then Shepherd over hears them and it turns into them explaining the LGBTQ+ community or smth to gramps .

Valeria: No but Ghost is definitely into Soap did you see how they were flirting during the filming of the Alone mission?

Milena: Yeah but that was scripted so obviously there had to be some tension, it's nothing compared to when I saw Gaz driving Ghost to the set today

Valeria: So? Maybe it could just be out of convenience

Milena: Gaz doesn't even need to film anything today plus with that eye sore of a hickey on Ghost's neck, something has got to be happening between the two of them I'm sure of it

Valeria: sure enough to bet on it?

Milena *scoffing*: even money hungry off set huh?

Valeria: aren't you meant to be the money obsessed one?

Milena *rolling her eyes*: oh piss off will you

Valeria: you know what? Now that I'm thinking about it, I might actually be able to take you up on your request, don't have too much fun without me though! *Speed walks away*

rekha why do you hate kafka 😭

sorry in advance about the rant but! i hate franz kafka, because his writing is really good, until you go deeper into it. i adored his writing until i learned that he didn't really love any of the women he wrote to at all.

here's what i mean ↓

his first engagement was to felice bauer, for whom he wrote his first love letters. then he broke the engagement off, only to get engaged to her again, and then broke it off again. talking about how he didn't deserve to get married or some stupid bullshit 💀 imagine getting dragged around by a man with serious esteem issues and a god-awful fixation on you for two engagements over a number of years, only to get dumped at the end anyway.

his second engagement was with a lady named julie wohryzek. he pretty much cheats on her by falling for milena jesenská and starts writing his romantic, heart rending letters to her, and he broke the engagement with julie off an year later.

you'd think he loved milena more than life itself with all the love in his letters to her. it was kafka that wrote “if a million loved you, i'm one of them. if one loved you, it was me. and if no one loved you, then i am dead” for milena. but only two or three years after he met milena, he was in a relationship with a young actress, dora diamant. she was 25 when he was in his 40s. so much for that love.

and then he up and died of tuberculosis.

he romanced a number of women through his letters that were weirdly manipulative in some parts (he said things like how he's dirty and filthy and that he can never give them the happiness they deserve, and then begs them to stay and love him even though he's so sad and worthless, boohoo) and he was engaged to all of them at some point? despite telling his first fiancée felice that he feels he doesn't deserve to get married??

he never married any of them though, and it seems he never gave them anything to love about him other than his letters. who knows how many other women he was fixated on and messing with. kafka is known for being such a romantic and for being so in love but most of his fans don't even know of these things.

he was just some guy who was shut up and fantasizing about the touch of a woman, and he was going after multiple women at around the same time. the way he kept complaining about how they wouldn't send him letters back??? this was during hard times where it was difficult to write and send letters so often, for people who are not as lifeless and self-centered as kafka. and again, the creepy “i'm worthless i'll never be good to you but pls pls love me and stay with me” shit that he kept pulling??? creep.

there's this one post that's on tumblr i'm pretty sure, about an English professor who said “if he writes her a few sonnets, he loves her. if he writes her 300 sonnets, he loves sonnets.” and that's pretty much kafka. except he's worse.

so yes that is why i hate kafka. he and his writing make me uncomfortable and angry as fuck after i found all that out about him.

Ever since Jeff mentioned having more children that’s all Milena can think about, Alethea having a little sibling, but also having someone by her side while she’s pregnant, having someone to enjoy the beautiful moments with instead of doing it all alone. When she got pregnant with Alethea she had so many hopes for her future with her father and she dreamed of sharing those moments with someone and those dreams were crushed when she told him and it broke her heart, she struggled for so long to get other those feelings, sure she still struggled with some insecurities and she probably always would but Jeff had quickly broke down those walls that she spent so long building high for no one to get through; Now here she was dreaming of the day that she would be telling Jeff that she’s pregnant with his baby. No matter how excited she was for this day she also was so damn nervous, she was also excited to tell Alethea’s father and that didn’t turn out the way that she had hoped. Jeff was different of course but she still couldn’t shake the nerves that one day she would be raising two beautiful babies on her own. “You okay?” Jeff asks pulling her out of her spiraling thoughts, she didn’t realize that she was sitting in there staring at her unedited video for god knows how long. Milena looks up at him and smiles shyly before nodding. “I’m okay, sorry.” Jeff frowns and kisses her head before cupping her cheek. “You can tell me anything, you know that right my love?” God, he was so sweet, and just as fast as the doubtful thoughts filled her mind they were vanishing as she looked into his eyes that were full of pure love as he looked at her. “I know. It was nothing, I barely remember what I was thinking about.” She leans up and pecks his lips before smiling at him. “I love you Jeff.” He smiles and kisses her again. “I love you more Milena.” She brings her attention back to her laptop in front of her and starts editing the video that had been waiting for her. “Hey, David wants me to go with him to go look at some houses, I think Heath and Mariah are going as well. Do you want me to bring Alethea? We can have a little daddy daughter day so that you can get some stuff done?” Jeff asks standing across from her now so that she can see him over the screen of her laptop. She smiles at him and shrugs. “If you want to, that would be great. Are you sure you’ll be okay?” She asks knowing damn well he can handle it, Alethea was always an Angel for Jeff. He chuckles and nods “I think we’ll be just fine.” Milena smirks and nods before turning her attention to the laptop once again.  

Jeff finishes packing Alethea’s diaper back with everything he would need for her for at least a few hours, honestly he probably packed enough for like two days but he wanted to make sure he was prepared and didn’t have to bother Milena at all. When he brings the bag out of the nursery and puts it next to the stroller Milena looks at him confused. “What is David looking at houses for anyway?” She asks and he shrugs. “I don’t think hes going to actually buy anything, he loves his house too much, but they have a lot of fans that show up there all hours of the night.” Milena shakes her head. “People don’t know what personal space is.” He nods and makes his way over to his girlfriend and wraps his arms around her before peppering her with kisses. “Don’t worry I’ll always keep my girls safe.” He reassures her making her smile. “I know.” Before he can kiss her again Alethea is bumping into his ankles with her walker making him chuckle. “Oh, someone’s so jealous.” He teases picking her up from her chair. “Are you ready to spend the day with me?” He asks kissing her cheeks making her smile wide. Milena smiles “Call me if you need anything okay?” She tells him and he smiles and kisses her. “We’ll be okay I promise.” She nods and kisses Alethea. “Have fun with Daddy, don’t pick up any new tricks from Uncle David.” She teases making Jeff chuckle. He straps Alethea into her car seat and opens the apartment door. “Say bye Mommy! We love you.” he calls only closing the door when she says I love you too.  

Jeff had met David at his house so he could follow him to the houses, he didn’t exactly trust David enough to let him drive with Alethea in the Tesla, he was not gonna risk that. They were on house 3 and these houses were amazing, they were huge and beautiful, and David loved them. He posted a few stories as he walked through the houses panning over to Jeff and Alethea and then the rest of their friends every so often. Milena watched the stories while she took a break for lunch smile when she sees Mariah pushing Alethea’s stroller and Jeff holding her as she smiled wide looking around these big beautiful houses. The one the third house they pulled up to was not like the other ones that David had looked at, not as flashing, more normal and practical. Jeff looked at David confused. “You picked this house to look at?” Jeff asks confused as they walk up to it. David shrugs looking at him before they walk inside. “I don't know it’s nice. You don’t like it?” He asks as they start to walk through, Jeff looks around and he’s speechless, he loves the house, its open and a great size and so gorgeous. But a house like this was not something David would like to live in, this house was more for someone like him and Milena. Suddenly that’s all he could think about as they walked through the house, raising a family with Milena in this house, which room would be Alethea’s, where her play room would be, Milena and Jeff’s office and the basement was fully furnished and a perfect space for the barbershop. Then when they got to the master bedroom his heart swelled, he could practically see Milena decorating it with her incredible style and then the connecting master bathroom, he could see them laying in the huge bathtub relaxing together. “I love it actually.” Jeff finally says to David who shrugs. “It’s not really my style, this is more for like a family.” David says and Carly agrees. Mariah and Heath smirk knowingly at each other as they have been watching the was Jeff was looking around the house. When they’re in the backyard Mariah nudges him a little and smiles. “You guys should get it.” She says catching him off guard and then he chuckles looking at her and Heath. “We could never afford it.” He says and they shake their heads. “Milena would fall inlove with this place, it’s perfect for you guys. You could pull it I’m sure.” Heath says and he’s totally right, it was perfect for them and Milena would die for this house.  

They look at one or two more houses before Alethea is over it. Jeff says bye to everyone and hands Alethea her pacifier before putting her into her car seat and buckling her in. He decided to pick up dinner for the three of them before heading back to Milena’s apartment. When he enters he smiles seeing Milena walking toward the closet where their washer and dryer are with a basket full of laundry. “Hi beautiful.” Jeff says making Milena jump a little and giggle. “Oh Jeff, you scared me!” She says making him chuckle, he puts the food on the counter and takes Alethea out of her seat and puts her into her highchair. “hungry?” He says looking over his shoulder at Milena who nods and smiles. “I missed you guys. Did you have fun?” She asks tossing the load of laundry into the wash and starting it before sitting at the island next to Jeff. Jeff handed her food to her and nodded contemplating whether to tell her about the house. “it was fun, there were some gorgeous houses.” He says putting on Alethea’s bib and feeding her some of her food. “I could tell! One of them did not look like his style though.” She says taking a bit of her food and humming happily. She gets up from her seat and gets them both a bottle of water and puts them on the island and got Alethea her sippy cup full of water and put it on her highchair tray. Jeff thanks her for the water and nods feeding Alethea another bite before eating his. “That one was more our style honestly.” He says trying to be nonchalant. Milena looks at him and smiles a little sensing where he’s going with this as she eats. “Oh yeah? Maybe I could go see it.” She says hiding her smirk as she takes a sip of her drink, Jeff’s eyes light up and he looks at her smiling wide. “Really? Yeah that would be great. I think you’ll love it. Heath and Mariah think so too.” Milena giggles and nods. “Well ask David for the relaters number so we can set up an appointment to look.” Jeff nods happily before turning his attention back to feeding Alethea.  

The next day, that was how fast they were able to get an appointment to see the house, David insisted on going with them, we all know he loves a good reaction. Milena and Jeff got out of her car and Jeff took Alethea out of her car seat knowing she wouldn’t stay in it while they walked around, David’s Tesla pulls up right behind him and he gets out smiling wide at them camera in hand as always. “It’s beautiful.” Milena comments taking Alethea from Jeff as he puts her diaper bag on his back. “Isn’t it?” He comments before David is by their side and smiling wide at them before looking at Alethea who is reaching out for him. “Hi sweetie.” David says kissing her small hand. Milena follows Jeff and David into the house taking in every detail, as soon as she walked through that doorway she was in love and already planning her décor. David had his camera glued to his hand recording Milena as she walked through the house, Jeff leading the way. Her eyes were wide and full of pure happiness and she had a smile on her face she couldn’t hide. Once they had walked through the entire house, they went out to the back yard so she could see the surprisingly large yard that it had which was unusual for LA. It had a beautiful inground pool that had a hot tub connected on the corner, a huge patio that’s doors connected to the kitchen and a large patch of grass off to the side that had plenty of room for kids to run and play and more than enough room for Nerf to live his best life. Milena looked at Jeff and frowned her eyes tearing a little, she was glad that David had stepped away from them to take a call. “What’s wrong baby?” He asks concerned cupping her cheeks. She sighs and wipes her eyes shaking her eyes, it takes her a minute to compose herself so she can answer him, she clears her throat before talking. “I just love this house and all I can picture is our lives here together, growing our family, having our friends and family here.” She sighs and bites her lip. “I just don’t think we can afford this Jeff.” Jeff smiles a little and kisses her forehead pulling her into a hug careful not to squish Alethea. “I think we can figure something out; we’ll just have to run some numbers and budget a little when we get home before we can make a decision.” Milena nods and hands Alethea to Jeff before she heads back inside to look around a little more. David comes back to Jeff and looks confused. “You guys okay?” He asks and Jeff shrugs. “I knew I shouldn’t have brought her here. I knew she was going to love this place and we wouldn’t be able to afford it, it’s not fair to her.” David frowns and nods. Soon after they leave and head back to the apartment, Alethea goes down for her nap and Jeff and Milena sit down and go through their budget and work through their numbers to see what they can swing.  

Later that week Jeff and Milena go to David’s house, Milena’s mom begged her to bring Alethea to her house so she could spend the day with her and it worked out perfectly because David told Jeff they needed to come by the house today and ‘stop being antisocial.’ This of course made them laugh and head right over. Milena and Jeff had talked it out and decided that it would be best for them to just rent another apartment or house once their lease was up in the next few weeks instead of buying the house, they just couldn’t swing the down payment right now while Alethea was so little. As the couple walked into David’s they were greeted with happy faces and Milena got some hugs from her friends who she hadn’t seen since before they went to New York. They all sat around and talked for a while catching up on how their trip went and what Jeff’s parent’s thought of Milena and Alethea. Mariah and Carly gushed over how cute Alethea was when she was with Jeff looking at the houses, how she was such a good girl for him and barely made a peep. “Unless she was giving me some input on the houses of course.” David adds to the conversation making the girls giggle and nod. “True, she's a natural interior decorator.” Carly teases making David chuckle. They’re there for about an hour when David is making an excuse for Milena and Jeff to join him in the Tesla in the driveway, Milena looks at Jeff confused when David is propping his camera up on the dashboard. Jeff shrugs and shakes his head watching David from the backseat. “Roll with it.” Jeff says making Milena shrug and giggle. Once David has the camera set up, he's turning his attention to Milena in the passenger seat next to him. “So how did you like the house the other day?” David asks making Jeff frown from the backseat and Milena smiles at David trying not to show how upset she was that they couldn’t get it. “I loved it, it’s beautiful.” She said simply, David nods and smirks a little. “Yeah it’s perfect for you guys.” He says looking back at Jeff briefly who’s looking at David trying to figure out where he’s going with this. Milena frowns a little and shrugs. “It just wasn’t meant to be, maybe one day.” She says trying to smile. David shakes his head and pulls something from the side of his seat. “Well, that house is too perfect for you guys for you not to buy it.” He says before handing something to Milena. “So, I'm going to pay for half of it.” David says and Milena’s eyes dart from David to the blank check in her hand. “It’s already signed you guys just have to fill out the amount.” Milena doesn’t realize it, but tears are practically pouring down her face and she’s almost sobbing. “Dave... we can’t take this.” She says begging him to take the check back. Jeff is in complete shock in the back seat, he reaches forward and wraps his arms around David hugging him tight. “No, I really want to do this for you guys, you deserve it. I want you guys to have a place to raise Alethea and grow your family.” David says tears streaming down his face too. Once Jeff lets go of David, Milena is wrapping her arms around David and sobbing into his chest. “Thank you, David. This means more to me then you’ll ever know!” She cries and David smiles wide hugging her back wiping his own tears away.  

And just like that a few weeks later they are moving their stuff into their dream house, their friends were all there helping them move their stuff in and the girls helped watch Alethea so Milena could guide the guys where to put certain things. They obviously didn’t have enough furniture to fully furnish the house, but they would soon, Milena has been going a little crazy furniture shopping. They of course filming an empty house tour once they got the keys to the house because her supporters would kill them if they didn’t. 

Alethea was completely in love with the house, she also loved the fact that Jeff was now around 24/7; he practically lived at her apartment with them but he had to go back to film his videos so she would miss him when he was gone for hours. Jeff had done the whole downstairs as the barbershop so now he had his own area for the videos, and he could film whenever he needed to and not have to worry about waking up Alethea since she would be on the second floor along with their bedroom. Milena excused herself from her friends and went outside onto the patio calling in and ordering some pizzas for everyone and sent Todd out to go and pick up some beers and drinks for everyone. Thankfully the first thing to get delivered was their patio furniture, she was so glad so they could at least have something for everyone to relax on today since it was such a beautiful day outside.  

Soon Todd is walking through the front door with arms full of cases of beer and some sodas with the pizza guy right behind him. “Lena!!!” He calls and nods to the delivery guy telling him to follow him. Milena comes downstairs and giggles seeing Todd place everything on the counter, she smiles at the delivery man and takes the pizzas from his arms putting them on the counter and grabs the money from her purse handing it to him and telling him to keep the change. She guides him out the door and closes it behind him. She goes upstairs to wrangle everyone in. “Hey guys! That’s good for today, there’s pizza, beer and soda downstairs.” The guys cheer and follow her downstairs, Jeff wraps his arms around her waist kissing her cheeks. “You’re the best.” He says making her giggle, she puts out paper plates and some solo cups. Milena takes Alethea from the girls and tells them to go eat before the guys eat everything. Everyone goes outside sitting around on the patio furniture, Jeff brings Alethea’s highchair outside and sits it next to her so she can feed her. Milena breaks a piece of pizza into very small pieces for her to pick up and eat and sets her water sippy on the tray as well.  

“Milena this house is amazing, I can’t wait to see how you decorate it.” Erin says and Milena smiles wide. “Thank you, I have so many things up my sleeve.” Milena says making Jeff chuckle, “The delivery guy is going to know our first names by the time the house if furnished.” She giggles and shoves him playfully. She turns back to Alethea picking up a small bite and feeding it to her. They sat like this for hours, goofing around, filming and just hanging out. Thankfully everything they had for their bedroom and Alethea’s were going to pretty much stay the same and the important things were set up and put together. Soon Alethea is wining and reaching for Jeff with sleepy eyes, Milena kisses her head and hands her to Jeff, he’s standing talking to Todd and Jason as he holds a very sleepy Alethea to his chest, she nuzzles into his neck and her hands play with his beard as usual. He sways back and forth as he continues talking to his friends, Jason smirks watching Jeff hold Alethea close and she's falling asleep fairly quickly. Jason’s so happy seeing Jeff and Alethea together it warmed his heart seeing his friend turn into such a sweetheart with her and practically fall into the father roll like a natural. He smiles wide seeing that she is still fast asleep in her crib, he was worried that she would have trouble adjusting to being in the new house but she was actually still asleep and usually by now she would have woken up at least once. He closes the door slowly making sure not to wake her as he does. When Jeff walks back into their bedroom and smirks seeing Milena pulling one of his t shirts over her head, “She’s still fast asleep.” Jeff tells her before pulling in the baby monitor on Milena’s side of the bed. “Really? Wow.” Milena says before slipping into the bed under the warm blankets, she quickly braided her still wet hair before laying down and nuzzling into the pillow. She looks up at Jeff and reaches her hands out for him. “J.” She wines as he strips down to his boxers chuckling. “I’m coming Lena.” He says smirking before crawling into bed next to her, he wraps his arms around her and pulls her into his chest holding her close. “Welcome home beautiful.” He whispers into her head before kissing the top of her head. Milena smiles wide and nuzzles further into his chest. “I love you.” She whispers only falling asleep when he whispers it back.

Probably the Druck cast (who’d have guessed), I love the way they constantly interact with fans on Insta and I like Jobel’s YouTube vids(the ones I can find subs for anyways). But also, the NL cast, especially seeing as they all seem to interact the most (as far as I’ve seen) with other casts, it’s cute :)

9. If you could nominate 5 actors in the skamverse for a best acting award, who would you pick? Holy shit only five? I mean, for a start, Tarjei and Iman, they both made me cry at multiple points during their seasons. Probably Chris Verses after the panic attack scene. Zoë Love Smith pulled off her season amazingly. Also, Lukas Alexander for that scene in the pool after disappearing, probably drawing with Michelangelo after his depressive episode, and ‘neon butterflies’. I may or may not have a Druck bias because I also wanna say Milena Tscharntke and Touka El-Fawwal.

Hmmmm... for the OG, most of them are the ones with the girls interacting, like when Chris calls the ‘beerman’, and I weirdly really like the scene where Vilde thinks she’s confronting Eva about Ingrid and Jonas, everything worked so well from Sana destroying her bigoted comment, to Noora’s line about not calling other girls slutty, to everyone leaving just Eva and Chris sitting there in uncomfortable silence. In season 3, the scene where Isak comes out to Mahdi and Magnus, the pool clip (but my favourite part of it is the build up to the kiss when theyre on the bikes), O Helga Natt, the final scene in s3 with Sana and (as much as it wrecked me) the hotel clip... at the time, I didnt use ‘skam tumblr’ much so hadn’t seen the theories about Even so I had no idea what was happening.

In Druck, Matteo’s scene in Neon Butterflies and the build up to it, Matteo and David’s ‘O helga natt’ because it was so different but so in character for them. Also, pretty much the entirety of episode 6. It was irritating to not see David for that long, but it showed so much of Matteo’s character. For Mia’s season, it was probably ‘panicked heart’, the Skateboarding scene because the fight made so much more sense, the scene where each of the mains (+Alex) stare into the character, the bathtub scene, the Kiki/Mia scene after Mia isolates herself. I could keep going w/Druck tbh, but I’ll wait till s4 is done to figure out my favourite moments of it :)

hi! since you live in germany i just wanted to ask something about druck. how is it doing in terms of popularity/viewership within the country? it seems they are treating s1 more as an experiment to test everything and make sure they'll get the clip releases and social media updates right in later seasons. also, they seem to have put a lot of effort into alex/mia and the actors who play them seem to be more experienced than some of the other casts. is it a safe bet to say we'll get season 2?

First of all, it’s not a safe bet. I don’t know anything official about a season 2. But I read on this blog that the creators of DRUCK hinted at a sequel but couldn’t say anything more. 

I do agree with you that it seems like the team put a lot of effort into Mia/Alex so that’s a good thing. About them being better actors, maybe that’s just the age of Milena Tscharntke (21) and Chris Veres (24). 

I will try and explain to you why I think there will be another season of DRUCK. The text is long but I hope it will explain some things.

Viewership numbers & numbers of comments on YouTube

Well, the viewership numbers on YouTube are not improving greatly nor dropping very drastically. First episode is an exception with over 130,000 views, but all the other episodes are pretty even (episode 2 & 3 around 43,000 views, episode 4 has like 39,000 views, episode 5 28,000 views and episode 6 has 22,000 views). The older the episode, the more views. That’s pretty logical considering the older episodes are up much longer. But those are just the official views on the DRUCK YouTube channel. There are probably a lot of people watching the series on druckclips.tumblr.com or other Google Drives. But since DRUCK’s official website is a Tumblr blog they are most likely aware of the international viewers. 

According to the comments under the YouTube clips, most viewers know the series because they know og skam. But there are a few comments coming from people who don’t know the Norwegian version which means DRUCK has gained some viewers aside from the og skam fandom. The numbers of comments under every clip are around 50, if it’s an episode there are around 150 comments.

DRUCK as part of funk

Also, DRUCK is part of a little network called funk which is “the little sister of ARD and ZDF” (ARD, ZDF are the two main public broadcasting institutions which are funded by the German population). So, every household in Germany (with a few exceptions) pays 17,50€ per month to fund ARD and ZDF (including their smaller networks like funk). So, DRUCK doesn’t rely on advertising income, meaning it doesn’t have to be extremely popular in order for it to have a season 2. There’s a big amount of small YouTube channels (like Jäger & Sammler, Die Datteltäter, reporter., Deutschland3000, …) who are part of funk as well and most of them don’t have high viewership numbers either.

DRUCK in the media

There aren’t many DRUCK articles out there and nothing has been said officially about season 2. There were some articles about the series back when they were still in pre-production or after the first two episodes were uploaded on YouTube but nothing really major after that. The authors of those articles liked the series, even if they didn’t fit the target audience.

All in all, I personally believe DRUCK will get a season 2 because funk is a small network who likes to experiment a lot with their shows. And SKAM/DRUCK has an unique concept which they are most likely ready to explore further. Plus all the good points I made in the text above.

But there are some things we can do to increase the chances of a 2nd season:

watch the clips! (try using a VPN service so that you can watch the clips as a “German” on YouTube and therefore count as an official viewer) 

talk about it here on tumblr, gif the DRUCK clips (creating buzz will help gaining new fans and maybe getting back some who stopped watching DRUCK because of their lack of updates)

talk about DRUCK with your friends, that’s how we get new viewers with new perspectives

Settling Down (J.W) Part One

Milena was about to be a 25-year-old single mom. She first started a youtube channel to document her pregnancy but youtube slowly turned into a sort of therapy for her, she was going through this entire pregnancy alone and it was really hard for her but she had her friends, family and most importantly her fans to keep her from going crazy, they gave her so much support. Milena’s ex left her as soon as he found out that she was pregnant, they had been together for a year and when she found out that she was going to be a mom so young she couldn’t be happier; sure it was very soon for them to be having a baby together but she loved him so she assumed he would be happy too, boy was she wrong. He was furious, called her irresponsible and told her to get rid of it. When she refused, he left, and she hadn’t heard from or seen him since and she’s realized now that it was for the best, he clearly didn’t love her and she didn’t want her little girl to have a daddy that didn’t want her.  

Milena’s friends and family begged her to get back out there and start dating again, but who would wanna date a girl that was 9 months pregnant with someone else’s baby. It wasn’t until Alethea was 1 month old that she agreed to go on one date that her friend was setting her up on, all she knew about him was that his name was Jeff, he is 30 years old and he also does youtube. She wasn’t very keen on dating another youtuber, but she was willing to give it a shot, it had been close to a year since she’d become single and she was finally feeling ready to start putting herself out there again no matter how nervous she was. Thankfully her mom was in town visiting and she was going to watch Alethea while she was out, her and Jeff were getting an early dinner, she didn’t want to stay away from the baby for too long or stay out too late, especially since Alethea had just started sleeping longer at night she didn’t  want to mess with that.  

“Are you sure you’re going to be okay? Cause I don’t have to go.” Milena tells her mom once she’s finished getting ready. “Oh no, no, no. You’re not getting out of this date that easily; you need to start dating again my love. Alethea and I will be just fine here.” Her mom insists kissing her head before handing Alethea to her. Milena smiles down at the little girl before kissing her chunky little cheeks a few times and handing her back to her mom. “Please call me if you need anything, I can come right back home.” She insists before her mom is handing her purse to her and pushing her towards to door. “Say bye mama.” her mom says waving the baby’s hand for her causing Milena to giggle. “Bye mom. Thank you again.” She kisses her daughter’s cheeks one more time before saying her goodbyes and closing the door behind her. Milena sighs and chews her lip nervously making her way down to her car in her apartment parking garage. “Everything is going to be fine; this is good, you need this.” She says to herself once she gets into her car. She plugs in the address of the restaurant that she was meeting Jeff at before she pulls out of the parking spot.  

Jeff was sitting at his favorite restaurant on the outside patio waiting for his date to arrive. Jeff’s friend Jess set this date up for him and he was beyond nervous, Jess had told him that Milena was a youtuber and a single mom who just had a baby a month ago, that didn’t bother Jeff in the slightest, he loved children and he was ready to find someone to settle down with, he was getting too old to be messing around with these LA ‘models’.  Jess had also showed Jeff a few pictures on her and he was smitten already, she was absolutely gorgeous, her smile was the best he’d ever seen and she had the biggest brown eyes that he was sure he would get lost in if he looked into them for too long. Jeff watched the cars pass by on the street while he waited for her to arrive.  

Milena parked at the restaurant and sighed trying to compose herself and calm her nerves a little before she got out of the car, Jess had shown her a few minutes of Jeff just so she knew who she was looking for and wasn’t completely oblivious when she got there; she did have to admit he was gorgeous. She took a deep breath before forcing herself out of her car and toward the restaurant. Jeff saw her right away as she walked up to the restaurant, she was wearing a pink nude dress that hugged her curves in all the right ways, he couldn’t believe that she just had a baby, a hat and sunglasses. Jeff stood once she stopped at the opening of the patio and started looking around. “Milena.” He called waving at her a bright smile on his face. Milena could have fainted right then and then when she looked over to where her name was being called and she saw that handsome man standing at a table with a big smile on his face.  

Milena made her way over to Jeff and smiled her dazzling smile at him which made him weak in the knees. “Jeff?” She asks before he nods and pulls her into a side hug. He walks around the table and pulls her chair out for her and smiles when she sits before taking his seat across from her. “It’s so nice to finally meet you, you look beautiful.” He says causing her to blush and smile wider. “It’s nice to meet you too and thank you. You don’t look so bad yourself.” She teases before looking down at the menu. “So, what’s good here?” She asks looking at him over her menu. “Well they have the best bread here, so we definitely have to start with that. But honestly everything is really good here for their entrees.” She nods and smiles at him before looking back at her menu.  

They had finally decided on their entrees and placed their orders with their waiter. “So, Jeff, how long have you been doing youtube?” She asks once their waiter walks away. Jeff turns his full attention to her and shrugs. “I’ve been doing it for a couple years, I think. My friends got me into it honestly, I was hanging out with them and they’re always filming and they kinda encouraged me to start. How about you?” he asks unable to look away from her beautiful brown eyes. She’s the first one to break eye contact looking down at her hands on the table. “um, I started when I got pregnant with my daughter. It started as me just documenting my pregnancy and it just took off. I’m glad I started though, it helped me through a very lonely time.” Jeff frowns a little and puts his hand on hers trying to bring her attention back to him. Milena looks up at him and smiles shyly, she was nervous talking about Alethea, but she shouldn’t be, they were a package deal and if he couldn’t handle the fact that she had a baby then that was a deal breaker. Maybe she was just nervous of being rejected. “Well I’m glad you did, cause if you didn’t who knows if we’d be here. She’s a month-old, right?” Jeff asks trying to give her some kind of reassurance that he’s okay with her being a mom. As soon as he showed interest in Alethea Milena’s face lit up and she smiled wide. “Yeah, she just turned a month old a couple days ago. Do you wanna see a picture of her?” She asks and Jeff nods eagerly which made any nerves she had completely vanish. She grabbed her phone from her purse and showed him a picture of her that she had taken this morning of her in a little tutu. Jeff smiled wide and looked at Milena, “She’s so beautiful Milena.” He said his eyes boring into her causing her to blush again. “Thank you, her name’s Alethea.”  

They talked for what felt like hours, conversation flowed so easily, and they learned so much about each other that by the time they were finishing up with their dinner it felt like they’d known each other for years. After paying the check the two of them stood from the table reluctantly but Milena had to get home to Alethea. Jeff wrapped his arm around her waist. “Come on I’ll walk you to your car.” Her skin was burning under his touch, she never wanted him to let go. They walked to her car in a comfortable silence. He opened her car door for her, she turned toward him and smiled. “Thank you for dinner, I really had an amazing time.” Milena confessed to him looking at him feeling a little shy now. Jeff took her phone from her hand and put his phone number in it before handing it back to her. “I want to see you again. As soon as I can.” He tucked a piece of hair behind her ear before placing a gentle kiss on her lips. “Text me or call me okay?” he whispers against her lips; Milena nods and bites her lip before climbing into her car. “I will.” She says smiling at him as he closes her car door and waves to her before heading to his own car.  

Milena thought about his lips on hers the whole ride back to her apartment, she wished that the kiss could’ve lasted forever. She couldn’t believe how sweet and kind he was, or how interested he was in Alethea. She was in a trance when she walked into her apartment, she was only pulled from her thoughts when she heard the coos from her beautiful little girl. She slipped off her shoes and hung her purse next to the door along with her hat. She threw her hair into a messy ponytail as she followed the sounds of her little girl and her mom's voice. “Hi.” She says once she enters Alethea’s nursery where her mom is sitting with her in the rocking chair talking to her. “Hi mama! How was your date?” Her mom asks a wide smile on her lips. Milena scoops Alethea out of her mom’s arms holding her close against her chest rocking back and forth. She kisses her daughter’s cheeks a few times before turning her attention back to her mom who’s now picking up any toys or bottles that were laying around the room. “It was amazing mom. I like him a lot, he’s so sweet, and he wanted to talk about Alethea all night.” Milena coos unable to wipe the wide smile off her lips. Her mom smiles wide and hugs her daughter careful not to squish the baby. “Oh, honey I’m so glad. How about you put her to bed and then you can tell me everything.” Milena nods and smiles closing the door behind her mom when she walks out. Milena turns on Alethea’s sound machine that she can’t sleep without. She sits in the rocking chair and rocks her to sleep humming softly.  

Jeff walks into David’s house and plops down on the couch next to everyone, he didn’t plan on telling the group about Milena yet, he wanted to keep her to himself for now, it was way too early no matter how well the date went. “Jesus, finally you’re here. Where have you been?” David asks pulling Jeff’s thoughts away from her. He sighs and shakes his head. “Sorry man, I had some stuff to take care of. What’s the plan for tonight?” He asks trying to change to subject not wanting David or his other friends to pry too much into his absence. Thankfully David doesn’t pry, he just explains to plans for the night to Jeff telling him about some surprises that he has for a few friends and that they planned to end the night at saddle ranch as always. Jeff nods and agrees to the plans even though he’s not totally interested. David and the rest of their friend’s attention is turned away from Jeff and they all start bullshitting. Jeff is on his phone and looking through Milena’s instagram which he had to hunt down through Jess’s instagram, he follows her and likes a few pictures of her and then some of her and Alethea. Heath leans over and smirks looking at Jeff. “Who’s that?” he asks keeping his voice down trying not to attract anyone else’s attention. Jeff rolls his eyes. “Too soon, I’ll tell you guys soon hopefully.” He tells him before putting his phone into his pocket.  

Milena spends hours gushing to her mom about Jeff, telling her almost everything about him and showing her pictures of him from his instagram which she found after he liked a few of her pictures and followed her. The rest of the night he’s all she can think about, and she’s all that he can think about while he’s surrounded by his drunk friends at their favorite bar. Milena is sitting in the rocking chair breast feeding Alethea when she decides to call him, she couldn’t help herself, she barely knew what she was doing until she’s pressing the call button and putting her phone up to her ear. Jeff looks down at his ringing phone and excuses himself from his friends before running outside. “Hello?” Her heart flutters when she hears his voice finally pouring through the speaking and into her ear. “Hi, It’s Milena.” She says her voice soft trying not to disturb a half-asleep Alethea. Jeff smiles wide and leans against the outside wall of the bar. “Hi gorgeous.” He says smiling from ear to ear, she blushes and bites her lip. “I’m not bothering you, am I?” She asks realizing how late it was. Jeff chuckles a little. “Not at all, I’d rather be talking to you then doing what I’m doing.” this causes her to giggle a little and blush. “What are you doing up so late?” He asks walking further from the entrance of the bar. “I’m just feeding Alethea; she’s finally falling back asleep again.” “Oh, that’s why you’re being so quiet.” Jeff says chuckling. “Jeff? What are you doing?” Todd asks coming up behind him. “Hold on Milena.” He says into the phone before turning to Todd. “I’m just on the phone I’ll be back inside in a few.” Jeff tells Todd who looks at him and raises his brow before walking back inside. “Sorry beautiful.” He says into the phone turning his attention back to her. She finishes putting Alethea back into her crib right as he comes back on the phone. She leaves her room leaving to door cracked. “That’s okay. It gave me a second to put her in the crib.” Jeff chuckles “Well I’m glad she’s sleeping. So, when can I see you again?” Milena smiles and giggles a little. “You tell me, you’re the one with the busy schedule.” She teases.  

Jeff and Milena see each other almost every other day for a month straight but she still hasn’t met his friends and he hasn’t met Alethea yet. Today was the day that Jeff was going to meet Alethea and then they had plans to go to Scott’s housewarming party, he was having a lowkey pool party, so she was also going to bring Alethea. She was a little nervous bringing Alethea around Jeff’s friends, she was afraid of judgement. Jeff was so excited for Milena to meet the group; he had finally decided to tell everyone about her after they had hung out a few times and he knew that he needed to be with her. Everyone was so happy for him and so supportive even when he told them about Alethea, they couldn’t wait to meet her.  

Jeff knocked on the door of her apartment feeling a little nervous until she opened the door and he saw her beautiful smile. “Hi beautiful.” he said before pulling her into him kissing her lips softly. Milena smiled against his lips before pulling away hearing Alethea fussing. “Sorry.” she mumbles before going into the living room picking her up off the blanket she had on the floor. “She was doing a little tummy time. She hates it.” She tells Jeff giggling. Jeff closes the door and makes his way over to where she’s standing. “Well how cute does she look in that bathing suit.” Jeff coos running his finger over Alethea’s cheek causing her to smile. “Right? Mine kinda matches but it’s a two piece.” She tells him smiling. Jeff smiles and kisses Milena’s cheek. “Are you nervous?” He asks while rubbing Alethea’s cheek, she’s been staring at him since he walked over to them. Milena’s heart is melting watching Jeff and Alethea. “A little bit if I’m being honest. This is just really new to me.” Jeff nods. “I understand, but don’t be nervous, I’ve told everyone about you and Alethea and they’re so excited to meet you two.” Milena smiles and pecks Jeff’s lips. “Do you wanna hold her while I finish getting her stuff together? She looks like she really wants you.” She says giggling while Alethea reaches out to Jeff still staring at him. Jeff nods smiling wide before taking Alethea from his girlfriend’s arms. “Make yourself at home, I just have a few more things to put together before we can leave. If she’s too much just let me know and I can take her back.” Jeff waves her off, before sitting on the couch with the baby and holding her on his lap talking softly to her. “Tell your mommy we will be just fine, we’re practically best friends already.” It took everything in her not to break down and sob right then and here.  

Milena walks into the living room with Alethea’s diaper bag full of everything she needs for her and the baby. She brings the stroller out from the hall closet and sets everything by the door. She looks over at Jeff and smiles when she notices that Alethea is fast asleep on his chest. “I’ll take her and put her in her car seat.” She whispers smiling at him, Jeff nods and carefully hands over the sleeping baby. Milena puts Alethea into her car seat buckling her in and putting the cover over it to keep the light out.  

Jeff puts the diaper bag over his shoulder and looks at Milena smiling. She wraps her arms around his neck looking up at him. “Thank you.” she whispers looking at him with loving eyes, Jeff wrinkles his brows together. “For what?” He asks confused. “Just for being you, you’re already so good with her.” She bites her lip before leaning up and kissing him. Jeff smiles against her lips kissing her harder before pulling away. “Well I love her so much already, and I’d do anything to make you happy beautiful.” He pecks her lips one more time. “Let’s head out, everyone is already blowing up my phone asking when you guys are going to get there.” Milena giggles and nods, she grabs her purse, sunglasses and sun hat. Jeff takes the diaper bag and stroller letting Milena take the car seat down to the car. Thankfully Alethea stays asleep while they bring her down to the car and until they get to Scott’s house.  

Once they’re parked Jeff takes the stroller out of the trunk and opens it while Milena takes Alethea from the car seat trying not to wake her, thankfully her stroller was set up like a bassinet so she stayed asleep when Milena laid her down in it putting up the visor to protect her from the sun. “She’s going to be hungry when she wakes up.” She says to Jeff taking the diaper bag and putting it on the bottom of the stroller. Jeff nodded and kissed her cheek. “That’s fine, there’s plenty of places you can feed her, or outside no one is going to care.” Milena nods and smiles at Jeff. “Ready?” He asks before kissing her lips softly. She smiles against his lips and nods. “Ready as I’ll ever be.” Jeff chuckles and guides her inside while she pushes the stroller, they go into the back yard where everyone is talking and there’s low music playing, and tables of food set up. Jeff had told Milena what Scott’s favorite alcohol was, and she had picked him up a big bottle as a housewarming gift.  

Jeff lead her right over to Scott who was standing with Heath and Mariah. Milena lifted the visor enough so she could look in on Alethea before they started talking just to make sure she was still asleep. Jeff is greeted by his friends with big hugs from all of them, “Guys, this is Milena, Milena this is Scott, Heath, and Heath’s girlfriend Mariah.” He points to each of them as he says their names. Each of them gave her a tight welcoming hug as they said hello. “I’ve heard so much about you all it’s great to finally meet you guys.” Milena says smiling widely at them, she reaches down into the bottom of the stroller and grabs the bottle she picked up for Scott and hands it to him. “Congratulations on the house. It’s beautiful by the way.” Scott smiles and hugs her again, “Thank you so much!” Milena smiled and nodded. “Of course, Thank you for inviting us.” Milena turns the stroller and lifts the visor so that they can see a sleeping Alethea, “This is Alethea by the way, she should be waking up soon.” Jeff snakes his arm around Milena a huge smile on his face as she interacts to smoothly with his friends. Mariah covers her mouth trying not to squeal and wake up the baby which causes Milena to giggle. “Wow, She’s so beautiful.” Heath says also trying to control himself and keep his voice down. “Thank you, guys, hopefully she’ll be up soon so she can enjoy the pool, she’s never gone in one before.” Jeff watches Milena as she beams over her baby girl, he loved the way her face lit up anytime she talked about her.  

After talking to Mariah and Heath for a while Jeff smiles at the two of them. “Well I think I should bring Milena to introduce her to the rest of the group.” The two of them nod and Milena smiles at them, “Once she’s awake and fed I’ll find you guys.” She promises before following Jeff over to another group of people. Jeff’s hand barely leaves her lower back unless she’s giving someone a hug. “Milena this is David, Zane, Toddy, and Natalie. Guys this is Milena.” They all give her a warm welcoming hug just like everyone else that she’s met today. “It’s so nice to meet you guys.” Milena coos smiling widely, it made her heart so warm with how welcoming and sweet everyone of Jeff’s friends were being toward her. Jeff points over to the stroller and beams down at Alethea. “This is Alethea, the sweetest angel ever.” Jeff says causing Milena to look at him and smile. David doesn’t waste any time; he’s turning on his camera that is glued to his hand and is pointing the camera at a still sleeping Alethea. “Guys look how cute this baby is!” He coos, Jeff rolls his eyes and whispers an apology to Milena who waves him off and shakes her head. “She’s used to a camera in her face.” She says smirking.  

Milena has now been introduced to the rest of Jeff’s friends and they are all standing and talking getting to know each other. Alethea starts to fuss in her stroller pulling Milena away from her conversation. She lifts the visor and picks up her daughter putting her against her chest bouncing a little to calm her. Jeff stands behind Milena slightly so that Alethea can see him. “Hi Angel, did you have a good nap?” He says to her softy rubbing his hand over her back. “Oh, she loves you Jeff.” Heath says smirking at him. Aletha smiles at him with sleepy eyes and starts sucking on her fist. “I think she’s hungry.” Jeff says to Milena who nods smiling at Jeff. “Yeah she hasn’t had anything to eat in a while.” She smiles apologetically at her new friends. “Sorry guys, I’ll be back I’m gonna go somewhere to feed her.” They all nod and smile. “No worries.” they almost all say. Jeff leads her into the house and brings the stroller with him leaving it in the living room near the door to outside. “Can you grab her diaper bag please?” she asks Jeff as she sits on the couch. Milena sits Alethea on her lap facing her and smiles wide. “Hi mamas” She coos kissing her cheeks a bunch of times. “Ou I love you so much. I wanna eat these squishy cheeks.” She says before kissing her cheeks again. “Jeff chuckles and places the bag on the couch next to her. “Do you want me to wait for you outside?” he asks not wanting her to be uncomfortable. Milena looks at him and shakes her head. “No that’s okay. Unless it will make you uncomfortable.” Jeff shakes his head and sits on the other side of her on the couch. Milena takes her cover up out of the diaper bag and placed it around her neck before cradling Alethea on her arms and starting to breast feed her. She leans against the back of the couch getting comfortable.  

Milena looked at Jeff and smiles. “You know you don’t have to sit in here with me if you don’t want to. You can go have fun with your friends.” Milena says suddenly feeling guilty for keeping him away from the party. Jeff’s eyes widen a little and he shakes his head. “Absolutely not. I'm having fun being with you. And Alethea of course.” Jeff says before leaning over and tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. Milena looks at him with so much love in her eyes and she leans into his touch. “Do you know how incredible you are?” She asks him, taking her bottom lip in between her teeth. Jeff shakes his head and pecks her lips lightly, “You’re incredible, thank you for trusting me to be in you and Alethea’s lives.” Milena’s eyes fill with tears with Jeff’s words, she tried her best to blink away the tears, but it didn’t work. “Hey, Hey, don’t cry. I’m sorry.” Jeff wipes tears from her cheeks. “Did I say something wrong?” he asks his heart-breaking seeing tears on her cheeks. She shakes her head smiles at him. “No, you did nothing wrong! The total opposite honestly, I haven’t had a guy that is interested in being in our lives or someone that cared for Alethea as much as they have for me. I just am really grateful for you.” She confesses biting her lip, Jeff smiles wide and kisses her trying his best not to disturb Alethea. “I want to be in your lives, I want to make the two of you happy and keep you both safe.” Jeff reassures her kissing her again.  

Milena pulls away and smiles widely at him. She only breaks eye contact to check on Aletha who doesn’t seem to be eating anymore. She peaks into the cover up and giggles. “Hi pretty girl, are you done?” Milena covers herself before removing the cover to reveal a smiling Alethea who is now wide awake. Jeff chuckles looking down at her shaking his head. She sits her up and puts her on her shoulder burping her. “I just wanna change her diaper too before we go out. Sorry.” Jeff rolls his eyes. “Never apologize for taking care of your baby Milena.” Milena smiles at him before laying Alethea down on the couch and changing her diaper into a swimming diaper and putting her bathing suit back on. Jeff helps her put everything away and throws away the dirty diaper. Once he returns to the couch, he picks up Alethea from Milena and kisses her cheeks. “Wanna go swimming Angel?” He says to her kissing her cheeks again. “Oh wow, I get why you wanna eat these cheeks they’re so yummy.” He says to Milena causing her to giggle. Milena puts the diaper bag back on the stroller bringing out the two towels for her and Alethea then kisses Jeff before kissing Alethea’s forehead. Milena takes off her dress so she’s in her bathing suit.  

Milena is standing holding Alethea while talking to Mariah when Jeff snaps a picture of her laughing at something Mariah says while holding Alethea. Jeff walks over and kisses Milena’s head before taking Alethea from her, Alethea smiles and cuddles against Jeff. “Oh my gosh, that’s so precious.” Mariah says watching Alethea with Jeff. Jeff smiles and rubs Alethea’s back, “Wanna go in the pool?” he asks Milena and Mariah. Mariah shakes her head and smiles, “No I’m gonna go check in with Heath make sure he’s not drinking too much.” The three of them giggle and she heads toward her boyfriend. Jeff puts his hand on Milena’s lower back as they head over to the pool and slowly easing their way in. Jeff hands Alethea to Milena not wanting to scare her since it was the first time she’s been in a pool. Thankfully Alethea loved the pool, she was smiling wide and loving splashing the water. Alethea also loved when the group came into the water and were playing with her, letting her splash them and making her laugh. 

It was starting to get dark when Milena started packing up Alethea’s stuff after she laid her sleeping body in her stroller, thankfully she had a been changed into a clean diaper and her pajamas before she fell asleep. Milena made her rounds saying goodbye to everyone and exchanging numbers with most of them, especially Heath and Mariah who were practically begging her to let them babysit Alethea. Lastly Milena made her way over to Scott and hugged him, “Thank you so much again for having us. We had an amazing time and Alethea loved the pool.” Scott smiled and nodded. “You guys are welcome here any time. It was a pleasure.” Jeff met Milena at Alethea’s stroller helping her bring everything back to his car. Milena made a successful transfer of Alethea from her stroller to her car seat without waking her.  

The car ride back to Milena’s apartment was nice, Jeff gushed over how much fun he had and how much his, well their friends love her and Alethea. While he talked his right hand stayed attached to her thigh rubbing it softly while he drove. Once the pulled into the parking garage of her apartment Jeff helped her bring everything upstairs so she didn’t have to struggle.  Once they were inside the apartment, she carefully picked the baby up from the car seat. “I’ll be back.” She whispered before bringing her daughter into her nursery and placing her into the crib. She left the door cracked and made her way back to her boyfriend. Milena wrapped her arms around his neck and bit her lip looking up at him. Jeff’s arms wrapped around her waist holding her body close against his. “I wish you didn’t have to leave.” She said her voice soft; Jeff pressed his forehead against hers. “I don’t have to if you want me to stay. Nerf is being taken care of by Oscar, he’s editing tonight so he’s staying at my apartment.” Milena smiled wide. “I would love for you to stay, as long as you don’t mind a crying baby at least once or twice.” She said brushing her lips over his but not kissing him. Jeff ran his tongue over his bottom lip. “I don’t mind at all.” His voice was deep and husky now and his eyes full of lust. Milena reached behind him and locked the front door before taking his hand in hers and leading him to her bedroom.
