i have a strawpage now and people have been drawing absolute bangers in my inbox for NO REASON ever since someone did a high effort drawing of the cataclysm wave. heres all of them. this has caused me to make a featured arts page (i did NOT have it until this post)

okay another problem i have with how everyone makes and thinks of minecraft biome mods;

literally everyone under the sun seems to think "end biomes" means-or for some reason needs to mean-"overworld 2 cartoon outer space boogaloo".

everyone and everything assigns it with a cutesy space aesthetic it simply doesn't actually have at the moment and damn near every modded biome is just "what if it was literally just trees but glowy" until the end dimension is functionally just a massive forest barely distinguishable from the bracken pack faewild by a marginally higher rate of occurrence of purple. there's none of that hostile barren alien slipspace a wrong-step to the left outside of reality, there's none of that infinite entropic void at the end of all things, there's none of that eerie vaccum space both more than and less than real, no, it just gets reduced. every single goddmaned time in every single goddamned biome mod ever made. to "ha ha purple forest go brrr".

i don't see the point of having a whole separate dimension for what amounts to a marginally glowier mangrove biome with a purple coat of paint thrown on it, and the closest i've seen to ANYTHING that comes even REMOTELY close to so much as ATTEMPTING what i (and the original design statement o the end dimension) think the end should be is Eldritch End and (again) Nullscape. that's it. there is literally NOTHING else. the "a biome is 1 ground color 1 tree 1-3 grass" mindset is poison to biome design thought in general but nowhere is it more obvious or damaging than with end biomes, and everyone who makes them seems very determined to turn the end into the overworld given how they go out of their way to make direct equivalents to nearly every overworld biome. even all the shaders think it has to be outer space! the only two i've found that don't are BSL and complimentary or ctpomfix or one with a name like that i don't rememebr which!

the end's not outer space! it's an entropic void dimension at the end of existence! the name isn't a cutesy meaningless random word! it's a slowly expanding cosmic horror non-dimension of indescribable and infinite slow, creeping eerie nightmare wrongitude that will eventually consume all of waking reality, not a lilo & stitch sequel!

Hiya there, haven’t been posting here because I’m more focused on bluesky and have been busy with the sprunki shit so here’s a little painting

mimic type of shapeshifter pretends to be his sibling shardscapes <- dead. he killed them. (sort of a twisted first mission)

after that she likes to masquerade as shardscapes because they look much less intimidating than her form. oh and in place of og shardscapes they will fight the player but without transforming into true form

cryptid horror type of being until you get to know her personally (if you are close enough they just turn into the biggest yapper of the century)(be warned they have bad opinions)

physically capable of effortlessly performing even the most miniscule and precise movements (probably carves rice grains as a hobby)

200cm tall (6' 7")

they can attack using the geometrical spikes floating around or on their body, but they can also heal using magic that looks like the orb deco but put on the target wound

the cbf blocker is what is causing nullsc to have such horrid takes; it's sorta like a hate generator brain parasite/tumor <- phrase "get out of my head" now has a double meaning which is prob nullsc's og personality or smth calling for help

the blocker also causes them to have frequent headaches that cannot be identified

on top of the war crimes he is also a cannibal of some sort

when they are extremely stressed they are prone to feeling sick

without the blocker they are much more genuine and less hateful, is overall a "polite" guy, though will still not hesitate to resort to violence on occasions + brutally honest but mostly brutal

he is also capable of getting all big brain abt psychology stuff (if he himself is calm) he just . does not use it for good sometimes. most of th time actually

still lacks in empathy sometimes, but...

even after the removal of the blocker, a core part of its psyche is its obsession with what is fair and what isn't. they think about it way too much and if something remotely "unfair" happens to him he just absolutely loses it

very emotionally confused and feels strongly and does not deal with ANYTHING well and first instinct is to run and stuff which isn't. good for relationships!

her nickname (for those who know her in person) is "Nil" :3
