🎶📓💄about dan our friend dan. phantom
🎶 A headcanon about music honestly all things considered, i think he's retained a lot of the same music taste - i can see him liking lots of rock still. nu metal, alt rock, hard rock, ect. sorta heavier lyrics and music than prime danny for sure. here's a song i associate with him...
📓 A headcanon about their hobbies ooh, this ones a bit more difficult! honestly.. hm. i still think he takes to video games easily but has shyed away from model building but i have to imagine jazz is trying to help him pick up some extra hobbies that aren't just Punching the Wall and Seethe 💄 An appearance headcanon THIS ONES REALLY FUN. I GET TO TALK ON IT ! i think his "ghost form" (what remains of the original dark timeline version of him) has retained the visuals of the scars he got as a 14 year old and whatnot, but [agit spoilers!] i think his clone body doesn't show any signs of it - (on this thinking clockwork helped age up the clone body to his actual age) - which both helps him seem a lot different from danny, but is sort of bittersweet in a way. (his clone body's fingers are also burned in the same way my danny design's fingers are "frostbitten" post urban jungle. but moreso bc his clone body wasn't prepared for the power!! 🔥🔥🔥)

oh geez uh uh any w-3 headcannons????
Yes many tee hee.
Most of these r new/havent said before but I will repeat some for sake of not having to rummage thru tags. ANd the ones rotting in my drafts. Sorry for length i am. not normal about these fish
DJ (they/he?) is nicknamed Faith, and with the og japanese name this nickname would be Chu(ji)
Timpanist (he/it) is nicknamed Val, jpnese version would be Oo(shiki) or just Midori bc that's a bit more presentable name
The Cellist (they/she/he). Uh. I don't have a set nickname for them I usually just call them The Cellist/ cellisake I think they'd be okay with being referred to as that too. I've also called them Algin even tho that's technically not who they are... I've seen Blade as a nickname for them but something like Jr or Kid in reference to the whole "First Child" thing could work. Idk I'm indecisive ig they have a lot of nicknames
They are all ND
The Cellist and Faith started the band and Val joined soon after. Perhaps it makes more sense for it to be the other way around but I feel like with the Cellist being stubborn and more out there with their ideas that they'd initially forgo a more traditional instrument until they realized something was missing.
Val and Faith live together. The Cellist lives alone, maybe nextdoor w/ a lil pulley system between the two houses. Houses made during the Salmon Run are not really meant to be long term so this was meant to be a temporary arrangement to streamline their work but as you can see it's been some time.
Faith finds this nice, they were pretty much homeless and just couch surfing pre omega 3 and ended up moving in w/ one of them in their permanent ocean residences and they decided for the Salmon Run to keep a similar idea
Faith likes a lot of urban, cool culture. Streetwear, graffiti, hip hop and break-dancing... etc etc. They're also very tech savvy. Preferred genres r edm/techno, rap +rnb and punk...
Val enjoys an active lifestyle. Into travel, camping, fishing and more outdoorsy things, working hard, eating well, taking part in festivities and trying to give back to the community when he's not too caught up in his own stuff. Likes traditional salmonid music a lot but also pretty big on grunge and nu-metal
The Cellist likes reading and interacting with art that is like. "good enough" for him. Most of it is confusing or dreary. Likes coffee in the morning and maybe a small glass of scotch on a lonely evening. And being right. As for genres he'll go for whatever he thinks is groundbreaking in specific songs mostly regardless of genre.. but I feel he'd like rock. Probably post punk and more experimental stuff? Maybe folk and some classical music... idk idk!!! If anything it's mostly stuff like Trout Mask Replica...
The Cellist does however claim to not like pop music. This is usually not a lie but. She does actually like some of the Squid Sister's songs maybe even some stuff from OTH or C-Side. She would rather die than admit this.
I do feel like if any of them had to choose a favorite band of the ones we know DJ would choose Dedf1sh or Sashimori maybe C side.. Val would go for bottom feeders and Cellist would say uhh ink theory may be.. it’s good jazz music
Also uh Splatfest teams!
Faith: Scissors, Grub or Fun, Grass, Sweet, Milk Chocolate, Aliens, Gano- Power. and Vanilla!
Val: Rock, Gear, Fire, Spicy, Dark Chocolate, Nessie, Courage, Strawberry
Cellist: Paper, Grub, Water, Sour, White? or Dark. Bigfoot, Wisdom, Mint ChocoChip
They have all physically fought on multiple occasions. There's been at least one near breakup too
The Cellist's dorsal/hair fin is greying, their coloration is also a bit warmer than other salmonids
Val is not completely blind it its injured eye but its vision is fucked. It's also sensitive to light and sensation which is a major reason for the eye patch
They all respect each other as musicians and people and deep down they all care but they really do argue a lot. They're not really people who blend well together at all. DJ rebels against all that is mainstream and all they don't like and even stuff they're more neutral on for the hell of it. They kindof think they're cool for being a jackass but theyve also just become very callous bc they didnt have a choice when they were younger... and they kind of feel like they're still on the defense. Esp since the other two are more experienced and older and tend to treat him like a kid sometimes esp the cellist...
Val means well but he often struggles to take others into account. He's very goal oriented, a one-way track sort of guy who often acts more than a little clueless or even selfish. Not as petty or stubborn as the Cellist but he's got a lot of inertia. That and he's just... kind of shit at socializing in ways that don't piss other people off. Says a lot of accidentally insensitive stuff too. Comes off pretty intense to some as well!! And the Cellist. Well. Stubborn, emotionally repressed, physically and verbally clumsy... they are also a very sensitive person with a lot of emotional empathy where they kind of sponge up whatever vibe they feel, but they don't quite have the ability to act on what they think would make things right!
So yeah they fight a lot between these clashing personalities that bring out the worst in each other and other creative differences. The stress of the job adds to it!
Faith has an older sister. Val has two older brothers and many younger siblings. The Cellist is an only child which is uncommon in salmonid society
Faith is a Goldie, at least partially so. Val is a cohock from a family of steelheads and Big Shots and is extra durable bc of this. The Cellist is a Maws or meant to be one... he either did not complete training or retired due to his clumsiness...
All of them have healthy appetites esp Val and the Cellist
Val and the Cellist have both been in different bands before. Val was in a rock band that only lasted a summer when he was like 17-18 and then was part of a traditional salmonid music ensemble for a couple years before ω-3
As for the Cellist they’ve been through a couple different musical groups. They left most due to creative differences and not getting along with band mates.
This is the DJ’s first like. Band. Before this they just did solo gigs and posted stuff online

Our Pagan of Progress Our Protector
Description: This experimental piece is a discordant narrative inspired by the ethereal sounds of blending ambient cityscapes with fractured melodies. It explores the tension between modern progress and ancient roots, using haunting visuals and dissonant city structures to evoke a dreamlike atmosphere in a sprawling urban jungle.

Co.Lega and Urbzz present: “Urbanator the computer boy.”
June 2023 - Co.Lega and Urbzz recently joined forces on a new track, “Urbanator the computer boy.” The song showcases their unique creativity and ability to seamlessly merge different styles. It draws inspiration from various genres, including Trip Hop, Nu Jazz, and Chill, among others.
It’s not every day you come across such an excellent blend of styles from extremely talented musicians that are open to let their different backgrounds collide!
Urbzz is a project by Michal Urbaniak, a renowned jazz musician, who contributed his distinctively organic touch to this piece, complementing Co.Lega's artistic vision and flow. The song features downtempo beats with a mesmerizing rhythm, accompanied by ethereal melodies and moody harmonies, which add a cinematic quality to the arrangement. In addition, the instrumentation includes a fusion of electronic and organic elements, highlighting the heart of the bond between jazz and trip-hop music.
Fans of artists such as Portishead, Dj Shadow, Dead Rituals, and Sam Prekop will definitely connect with this one!
Find out more about Co.Lega and Urbzz and check out “Urbanator the computer boy” below:

the first single from our upcoming album is out today. the inception of this song is one i will never forget, for it birthed not only one of my favourite songs but also a beautiful friendship with a human i now truly love. my dear brother Jack Ames was the catalyst of this song’s creation, putting me in a room with himself and the wonderfully talented Porteous. together the three of us sat in the studio and crafted this song from the ground up. many moons would pass before it would fall into the hands of Pinkyman who then completed this piece with his beautiful touch and magical input. a true collaboration with people i am truly inspired by, completely in awe of and eternally grateful toward. this is blind faith. a song by Ben James / Jack Ames / Pinkyman / Porteous

Hi!!! I don’t want to fill Miles’ inbox with questions, and you guys seem to share answers anyways, so I’m here with questions in your inbox! :) Even though Minor Inconvenience are a pop/punk/rock band, what are their individual music tastes like? Or, what music did they grow up with? Did that affect their music? — Band Boys Anon
hi band boys anon! lovely to have you here, thanks for the ask!! :] this is a big set of questions so it’s kinda long!
Fallon has always been a punk rock fan. Punk rock, garage rock, and hip hop were what he listened to the most!
He and his cousin Ajax would blast music in the basement for hours. It served as an outlet for his turbulent teen years, and it helped him feel seen. Punk rock in particular, and its messages, definitely influenced Fallon’s own music, as you could guess. Sometimes he finds beats to be too slow for him, so a lot of what he makes is fast paced and high energy!
(think The Clash, Ramones, Nirvana. Chaka Khan, Run-DMC, Tupac and Biggie. Dr. Dre, the Fugees, Ye and Jay-Z etc)
Blake, while having listened to punk and hip hop with Fallon, actually listened to a fair about of jazz, pop, and rock. Though not as often, they listened to the occasional show-tunes, and also enjoyed urban desi music. They never particularly committed to having one “taste”, and was a lot more diversified than Fallon, who tended to commit to the aesthetic. It helped with Blake’s self-expression, something they struggled with as a teen. Listening to jazz (jazz fusion, to be specific, which took its own influences from rock, funk, and R&B) definitely had an effect on Blake’s guitar playing. At times, the influence is quite audible!
(A lot of overlap with Fallon’s. Pearl Jam, Green Day, Foo Fighters. Casiopea. Led Zeppelin, Guns N Roses etc)
Calix too grew up with hip hop! Unlike the other two, who found it themselves, it was simply a popular genre in his house! With one sibling who turned out a DJ, hip hop was a staple in the Emerson household. Alongside that, Calix listened to a lot of metal/nu-metal music (the uncle who taught him how to drum was in a metal band! This directly affected how Calix plays now.), as well as R&B and reggae! Calix grew up with the most genres of music, so if you asked him to pick a favourite, you’d be waiting a while! His drum style is influenced by metal and punk rock, though.
(Korn, Slipknot, Linkin Park. Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Barrington Levy. Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Lionel Richie etc)

Okay this is a weird/out there question, hope you find it interesting, if you had to assign the RO's as an extremely niche music genre (EX: hyperpop, folkpunk, power metal, bardcore) what would you give them?? Also I adore this game already I love urban fantasy so much and you're bringing out my favorite aspects of the genre <3
this was a very fun exercise in learning music genres 🤣🤣
Azalea has very lofi hiphop vibes to me.
Kana is swamp blues and thunderstorm jazz.
Rory is alternative/indie/folk rock. Popular “alternative” radio station at 2am rock.
Liam/Lily I think would be 70′s/80′s punk or post-punk.
Sebastian is also punk, but the more recent stuff, as well as nu-metal.
#speaker game#asks#azalea mirin#kana#rory kane#li cowles#sebastian wynric#me doing a google search for this question: there are *how* many genres?#Anonymous

rap beats for sale
Grizzly Beatz
For the inexperienced producer, nevertheless, even a simple beat can appear a bit abstract. Beginning to make authentic beats can, due to this fact, be extra intimidating than it needs to be. Included are some vocal loops to create an atmospheric feeling along with some clean basses and guitar strings. This is normally a very uplifting really feel fused with urban road feels. This is a catchy and melodic beat, ready for both singing and rapping.
Before samplers and synthesizers became outstanding parts of hip hop manufacturing, early hip hop hits such as "Rapper's Delight" and "The Breaks" have been recorded with reside studio bands. During the 1980s, Stetsasonic was a pioneering instance of a reside hip hop band.
Expand your beat out into a full song form, varying energy from part to section by introducing or taking sure components away. Get life-style news, with the most recent style articles, fashion information, recipes, home options, movies and rather more in your daily life from AOL. Release your Rap songs professionally to limitless platforms and maintain all of the profit. E.g. if the beat accommodates piano and drums, you will get one file for piano, and one for drums.
If you're taking your music critically then you'll have to put cash into your self and get beats from somebody who trully understands this enterprise. Sjava’s beautiful singing within the Xhosa language compliments the themes of the film so well that it’s a disgrace this didn’t appear on the display screen. I’ve seenBlack Pantherover 20 instances at this level, and listened to the soundtrack at least that many occasions, and I consider this track has the strongest thematic relevance to the movie. One of the central themes of the film is the colliding of African and American values by way of the lived actuality lens of the African American — and this musical collaboration mirrors that justly.
With nothing greater than a sparse sample looping behind him, Pusha paints a vivid picture of the dichotomy between the rules of higher echelon society and the codes and complexities of a drug dealing way of life. The monitor samples “Twelve O’Clock Satanial” by an obscure onerous rock band from the Seventies known as Air . This as quickly as once more proves how deep West digs in his crates for samples.West flips a snippet of the track into a bass-heavy banger paying homage to West’s production onMy Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Producers DJ Dahi, ID Labs, Nice Rec,and Nostxlgic staff up on “Self Care” to provide this track the bounce of a modern trap beat fused with harmonies taken straight out of nu-jazz. Miller being a big fan of jazz, it’s not stunning that plenty of the songs on this document characteristic mysterious, complex harmonies.
The instrument that you simply choose for this melodic element goes to have the most important impact on the beat’s sonic character, or “vibe”. In the following instance, I’ve gone a slightly different route, utilizing a very brief 808 bass to simply add some thump to the kick. I felt this would work finest with the vibe we've going so far. The high percussion could be anything from a single closed hi-hat or percussion instrument to a complete group of interplaying percussion sounds. Without any repetition, the listener doesn’t actually have anything to latch onto, which can cause the music to really feel unstructured.
Today, the term rap is so carefully related to hip-hop music that many writers use the phrases interchangeably. Get complimentary entry to 500+ premium loops and samples swore by trade superstars if you purchase a beat. Sing or rap to this darkish, yet gradual beat with a gentle vibe. Sing or rap to this refrain of upbeat tunes and drums with strong chords.
We’ll be creating a fast and primary hip-hop beat to demonstrate. However, all the strategies and ideas that we’ll be masking may be applied across all genres.
The listing under names a few of the most influential drummers of the hip-hop genre. Hip hop producers could additionally be credited as the record producer or songwriter; they could additionally supervise recording periods. In addition, we concentrate on a variety of royalty-free music and high-quality background music for video games, quick films and broader filmographies. To do this, your beats must match your lyrics in order that the instrumental part completely complements your vocal talent. Even on a well-produced project like Fever, the "Cash Shit" beat stands out. While the observe is little darker than LilJuMadeDaBeat's usual work, it units the perfect canvas for a collab between Megan and DaBaby, two of the most important names in rap these days.

Blue Night Dreaming Melbourne Cover
Melbourne City comes alive under the night sky with illuminated streets, bridges, and buildings. Cars move slowly, each one heading to unknown destinations. The city buzzes with activity yet remains unaware of the individuals it shelters. Each light in every window tells a story of a life being lived, but from a distance, they merge into a pattern of light and shadow. The scene's beauty is undeniably a reminder of the vast unknown lurking beneath our constructed realities.

Lupe Fiasco, Kaelin Ellis, Virgil Abloh - House
Aminé - Limbo
Joe Hertz . Current Blues

Napoli Segreta is a product of years spent following the footprints of legendary characters beneath an urban underground, that crawls with anecdotes and passion, immerses bloody quests into oceans of vinyl records and dusty tapes, in the midst of emotional vicissitudes, parties, seas, recording studios and seagulls.
Napoli Segreta roughly translates as “a secret history of Naples.” On Early Sounds Recordings, curated by Nu Guinea and local Neapolitan crate-diggers Famiglia Discocristiana and DNApoli, this compilation features some of the best of Neapolitan jazz-funk from the ‘70s and ‘80s.
