I have some not so fun updates that I feel the need to share with you all.
I have been diagnosed with SVT, frequent NSVT, and AFib. I throw quite a lot of PVCs. I also have a mitral valve leak and a mildly enlarged heart. There could be other things going on that need to be gone into more depth by my Electrophysiologist. Both my EP and Cardiologist believe I was born with these things.
I’m currently taking medications to lower my heart rate and cholesterol. I am also wearing a ZOLL LifeVest. My EP says I am at a high risk for sudden cardiac death. It’s not been a great experience as far as comfortability but such is life. I can complain if I want. I have an MRI scheduled and an EP study soon. I eventually will be having surgery for an ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator).
I’m continuing on with my daily routine. I’m still going to work, still going outside (even though I can’t cut my grass because I’m not allowed to), still driving. I’ve been eating a whole lot better- I have not had any caffeine, nor sugar, nor processed foods. I have lost almost 20 pounds. My current goal is to kick cigarettes out which has been so hard and I know before anyone else says it that I need to quit— like yesterday.
Alas, I’ve been trying my damnedest to do all of these things at once but I’m only one person. I will continue to try harder because I don’t want to leave my wife nor my sister quite yet.
If you will, keep us in many prayers. Thanks.

Management on Non-Sustained Ventricular Tachycardia:
Definition – The most common definition is three or more consecutive ventricular beats, a heart rate of greater than 100 beats per minute, and a duration of arrhythmia of less than 30 seconds.
●Symptoms – Patients with nonsustained ventricular tachycardia (NSVT) are usually asymptomatic, although some patients may notice symptoms associated with episodes of NSVT. Symptoms may include palpitations, chest pain, shortness of breath, syncope, or presyncope. Symptoms may vary depending upon the rate and duration of the NSVT along with the presence or absence of significant comorbid conditions.
●Physical examination – By definition, the pulse rate is greater than 100 beats per minute.
Few physical examination findings are unique and specific for NSVT.
If the physical examination coincides with an episode of NSVT, this can reveal evidence of atrioventricular (AV) dissociation, including marked fluctuations in blood pressure, variability in the occurrence and intensity of heart sounds (especially S1), and cannon A waves.
●Evaluation – All patients with suspected NSVT should have a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG), although NSVT is frequently identified on continuous telemetry monitoring, in which case only one or two leads may be available for review.
•Reversible causes – Once identified, reversible causes of NSVT should be sought, including electrolyte imbalances, myocardial ischemia, hypoxia, adverse drug effects, anemia, hypotension, and heart failure.
•Single asymptomatic episode – Often, for these patients, no further investigation is required.
•Multiple or symptomatic episodes – For patients with multiple episodes or with symptoms felt to be related to NSVT, a thorough diagnostic evaluation to exclude structural heart disease is warranted, including cardiac imaging and ambulatory ECG monitoring for most patients and invasive electrophysiology studies (EPS) only on rare occasions.
●Treatment
•Asymptomatic patients – In general, asymptomatic patients do not require any specific therapy directed toward the NSVT.
However, some asymptomatic patients with NSVT who are found to have infarct-related cardiomyopathy with significantly reduced left ventricular systolic function may be evaluated for implantable cardioverter-defibrillator placement for primary prevention of sudden cardiac death related to sustained ventricular tachyarrhythmias.
•Symptomatic patients
-Initial therapy – For the initial treatment of patients with symptomatic NSVT, we suggest beta blockers rather than calcium channel blockers or antiarrhythmic medications (Grade 2C).
For patients with NSVT who remain symptomatic in spite of beta blockers, or who are unable to tolerate beta blockers due to side effects, we suggest adding a nondihydropyridine calcium channel blocker (ie, verapamil or diltiazem) rather than an antiarrhythmic medication (Grade 2C).
-Alternative therapy – For some patients who have frequent, highly symptomatic NSVT not adequately suppressed by beta blockers or calcium channel blockers, the addition of antiarrhythmic medications (table 1) may be helpful. We suggest amiodarone as the initial choice, rather than other antiarrhythmic drugs, based on its efficacy (Grade 2C).
In patients with very frequent symptomatic monomorphic NSVT not controlled by medications or who are unable or unwilling to take medications, catheter ablation can be effective for reducing or eliminating NSVT and associated symptoms.

Awesome Virginia Slims smoking milf Adela. I just love giving the gift of my damaged smoker's heartbeat to such a beautiful heavy smoking woman. I just wish she could feel the PVCs, SVT, NSVT, and general tachycardia that I feel when filling my lungs with smoke...

Having health OCD, more particularly cardiophobia, is such a hard thing to deal with. From the moment I wake up and feel my heartbeat to the second I go to bed I’m riddled with anxiety unless I’m able to distract myself for a some time throughout the day.
I have such a hard time with this condition BECAUSE I have a history of heart problems and its almost like the stress I had before I had my condition caused it. At the age of 19 I went to the ER almost every day from thinking I was having a heart attack or I had heart failure or even cancer. It was so draining and eventually when I was 20, I had a cardiac event that had me in ventricular tachycardia for around 20-25 seconds that my holter monitor ended up catching and I started two very serious heart meds.
All of my scans and tests are perfect but my heart still misfires a lot and I get pvcs and sometimes I will get NSVT.
I’m hoping my new anxiety and antidepressant will pick up the slack for me because it’s the most exhausting thing in the world being terrified of an organ that keeps you alive.

Ukrainian Scouts Received Special Armoured Vehicles for Combat Missions - Technology Org
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/ukrainian-scouts-received-special-armoured-vehicles-for-combat-missions-technology-org/
Ukrainian Scouts Received Special Armoured Vehicles for Combat Missions - Technology Org
The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration announced that Ukrainian scouts received a couple of Dozor-B vehicles fully equipped for combat missions. The Dozor-B has been in service since 2016 and it was designed in 2004-2007. However, these two vehicles are said to have been improved by specialists in Kharkiv.
Dozor-B is a light armoured vehicle, weighing around 6.3 tonnes. Image credit: VoidWanderer via Wikimedia (CC BY-SA 4.0)
The Dozor-B is definitely not a new armoured vehicle. It was first revealed in 2004. The development took three years and was largely complete in 2007. There were some pauses in the development and the preparation for production, but in 2016 the Dozor-B entered service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Dozor-B is a light armoured vehicle with good off-road ability. It is made with special operations units in mind as well as for border security, reconnaissance, patrolling, and peace-keeping operations. It can serve as a command vehicle, medevac vehicle, troop transporter. It is just an off-roader with a good level of protection.
The Dozor-B is 5.4 metres long and weighs around 6.3 tonnes. Its crew consists of 3 people and it can carry up to 8 troops inside. The Dozor-B is powered by an Iveco 8142.38.11 or a Deutz BF 4M 1013 FC turbocharged diesel engine, capable of around 190 HP of power. Its maximum speed is around 10 km/h on the road. Of course, naturally, the Dozor-B is very good off-road too, thanks to its 4×4 chassis.
Probably the most important feature of the Dozor-B is its armour. It is strong enough to withstand small arms fire and, more importantly, provides good protection from anti-tank mines.
This capability is extremely important in Ukraine as this country has become the most mine-polluted country in the world. In terms of armament, the Dozor-B has a 12.7 mm remote-controlled anti-aircraft NSVT machine gun. Thanks to its advanced night vision capabilities the Dozor-B can operate during the dark times of the day too.
However, the Dozor-B vehicles that were now given to the Ukrainian reconnaissance specialists are improved and we don’t know in what way.

“We cannot talk about all the advantages of the car, but the Russian occupiers must “like” them. In particular, its armour: protection against mines, small arms fire, etc.”, said Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Civil-Military Administration.
We can only hope that the defenders of Ukraine will manage to surprise the Russian invaders with these domestically produced vehicles.

Definitely not, ESPECIALLY if it's bad enough to make you dizzy. If it's bad enough to make you feel symptoms - especially if it's beyond just thumps or pain, you need a cardiologist.
Now, sometimes if you've already got a heart issue and/or heart surgeries the heart can do some interesting things, even at rest. Especially at rest, because you're more likely to notice them than when you're busy moving around. In my experience, PVCs (Premature ventricular contraction, I think.) or NSVTs (Non-sustained Ventricular Tacchycardia) happen often when you're at rest, especially if you're transitioning from activity to resting, as your heart kinda needs to "catch up." These generally aren't serious, especially if your symptoms are limited to thumps or brief pain/heart racing. Often it's because sometimes heart conditions or heart surgeries change the tissue around the heart which creates these odd beats. HOWEVER, even these could be a sign of potential future problems if not monitored. And if you're having symptoms beyond those or episodes that last for longer than a few seconds, you need to see a doctor. Also: lack of sleep and intense stress can make these beats worse, as can some medications like some psychiatric meds or taking NSAIDs continuously for too long.
Source: A lifelong congenital heart condition which has caused surgeries, PVCs and a fairly recent diagnosis of NSVT. I also recently went through teeth extractions due to advanced decay, was put on anti-anxiety meds, sleep aids, was living off tylenol and nsaids for a while due to the tooth pain, and was put on quetapine for sleep briefly. So bonus moral: Brush your teeth, see your dr when you're having a problem, don't over think and look for medical stuff online, and don't put off needed dental work even if you're terrified of surgery and feel fine currently. Dental problems are no joke, they can ROYALLY mess you up!
medical side of tumblr i need u lot again: is it normal for my heartrate to just. increase violently and make me dizzy. like while im just sitting at work in the office not doing anything or

Back at square one with the mysterious ailment that’s been plaguing me since March
I honestly don’t know what to do at this point. At first I thought it was just anemia and a shoulder injury (with the exception of the large fibroids ofc and the GERD they’re causing) but I’m on beta blockers now bc docs can’t figure out my chest pain despite all tests coming back clear with the exception of one singular NSVT event on the holter. And now internal body tremors have joined the fray…
I’ve had to wait months to get to this point, and now I can’t even get a good nights sleep anymore bc no matter what position I sleep in something in my body triggers shakes in my chest and stomach which sometimes trails down to my legs. My legs start trembling when I stand for long periods of time now (I want to hope that it’s bc I work in order fulfillment at Walmart and as such I have been walking way to much but at this point I’m not quite sure if I have any hope left) I have chest pain that triggers randomly, dizziness, and arm pain and I’m not sure if it’s just a perfect storm of many problems or just one singular problem. I’ve been on iron supplements for a little over a month now and NOTHING has seemed to change
Idk I’m just very tired and I haven’t had a full nights sleep since March and I’m starting to get to a breaking point. Is it stress, is it menopause, is it the fibroids, is it my heart, is it my muscles, is it chest pressure, is it stroke, is it this, is it that who fucking knows and it takes close to a day to get any response from anyone (and even then they don’t really provide any answers so fml right?? Or they want you to come in for an appt months away 😬😬😬)
I wanted to do so much this year, you know? I had plans on trying to get back to school and maybe get back to my family up north but now it seems like I won’t even get to see my next birthday bc GODDAMN are things too much for me rn.
#Sunday was a scary event#felt like a band popping in my chest followed by someone throwing a weighted blanket over me#then I had difficulty breathing and rapid heartbeat#lo and behold when I went to the ER guess what they found out?#nothing#well nothing related to a heart attack anyway so yay?#personal health issues#personal health update#burning sensation is back in my chest time for meds#text post#rambling#no read more

“Hello everyone and thanks a lot. I'm here for second time and I need your help again.
my name is Elisabeth Vacola/Vakola, Im 21 and according to doctors in Greece, I suffer from a rare multisystemic disease, that affects my muscular system and foremost my heart.
Since 2013, I began having syncopal episodes and it wasn’t until 2015 before we realised that something was wrong with my heart, when I needed a procedure for my ovaries and in my preoperative assessment my ECG was found to be irregular.
I went on and had a 24-hour Holter tape, where they found lots of ventricular ectopics (from the entry point of the right ventricle – during that first Holter tape they were 13000+. A few months later, in 2016, I had a right heart ablation for these ectopics.
The ablation failed and I was given sotalol and propafenone hydrochloride. The arrhythmias continued, as well as the syncopes.
At this point, let it be noted that I have a family history of sudden death (a female cousin aged 21).
After some time, another 24-hour Holter tape revealed NSVT and more ectopics, so I decided to change the doctor who was reviewing me.
My first cardiac MRI in 2016 was perfect, I had a second one 2017 and new one in October of 2019vthat revealed a hypokinesia of the apex of the right ventricle.
For me to have that second MRI, I was given amiodarone, so as not to have artefacts from the arrhythmia.
Then I went on to have more problems, by means of multiple chest infections with whooping cough, stridor, mainly at the base, further tests showed that I had restrictive lung disease (no effusion was identified).
Then my left eye started enlarging, we assumed a thyroid issue, because of the amiodarone, bloods and thyroid echo were performed, that were normal. Following a consultation by an ophthalmologist, as I noticed having short-sightedness (6 months ago I had none and in 2 weeks I went from 0.5 to 1.25), I had an orbits MRI that revealed retro-orbital oedema initially of the left eye, a second MRI also showed oedema of the right eye as well, with involvement of the medial rectus muscle. At that time I noticed a decline of my visual fields and my optical acuity. An electroretinogram showed low retinal activity.
Then I went on and had problems with my legs, difficulty walking, numbness, pain etc.
A full neurological work-up was performed and from the brain MRI they found some dotted spots, I was told. From the lower leg MRI they found injury of the thigh muscles (although I’ve never injured myself in any way).
Here, in Greece, they can’t find what is wrong with me. I keep worsening, and as a family, we are in a difficult financial situation, but it's important to finally find what I have.”

saythename-kpopaus answers From BTS, I ship you with J-Hope! The phrase “Opposites attract” will totally work in this case. Hobi will be the perfect contrast to your quiet and dorky personality! He seems to be the type that loves flowers, animals, and just nature in general! From Seventeen, I ship you with Vernon! This boy. As I mentioned before, he’s quite the dork himself, and I feel like he needs someone to geek out with! Vernon has mentioned before that he has quite the sweet tooth, just like you! He’d admire your bravery when it comes to being an adventurer.
