Some info about my NSotF!Haku thoughts!! ^_^ :

Hatsune Miku V??? Model - 89N7 "Haku"

Haku is a former niche idol from an early model release. She never reached the same notoriety as other "legacy" idols, but she cultivated something of a cult fanbase. After just a few performances, Haku's public appearances grew more and more infrequent because, unbeknownst to the public, her faulty production led to a vocal bug which inhibited her ability to sing.

Officially sanctioned voice box surgeries only came to fruition after Haku had left the music industry and though Yamaha offered to repair her voice after she retired, Haku refused; believing that her time had passed and she wanted to find fulfillment outside of the musical arts.

Ever socially anxious, Haku prefers to spend her days outside of the public view, only accompanied by close friends and those she calls family.

so i may have gone "what if i oc-ified my selfship arqetype inspired meiko sona and leader kaito" and ended up here. nsotf oc kaimei yuri anyone?

ive still gotta......... actually draw them together though.............. but its just a pretty simple cute relationship for the most part. them getting together is a very meetcute kinda situation. wonder shows up to the coffee shop arche works at and then keeps coming back and they become friends and then girlfriends :3

ill make a work ref for arche eventually because its not quite the same as arqetype meiko color-wise, but wonder can just be put in leader kaitos outfit for theater stuff..........

anyway. yes these two came out of the fact that i saw leader kaito and went "ive never wanted a man before like ive wanted him" because hes pretty in a butch lesbian kind of way. so wonder is exactly that :D hes a transfem butch lesbian, so yes, listing him as female on his profile is correct. he really hasnt changed at all since transitioning, and he has no plans to. hes pretty content as is.

arche having blue eyes is also a reference to arqetype... if you look at it arqetype meiko has blue eyes. which is weird but also kinda neat. so yeah arche is just a normal meiko (besides the add-on dragon parts) who was just made with blue eyes for fun

also while theyre technically both based on songs that wouldnt yet exist in universe thats not that important because i think both concepts stand up on their own... barista meiko and actor kaito work fine as standalone concepts ignoring their inspirations. their nicknames are callbacks to their inspirations though. arche -> archetype -> arqetype (this means her name is pronounced ar-keh, not arch) and wonder -> hes like two steps removed from being wxs kaito if you think about it.

wonders id is really straightforward i think... 1d3r -> one der -> wonder. arches is also not that confusing but theres like two extra readings wrapped up in it for fun. the one she follows is rk -> reading the letters individually -> stretch the pronunciation slightly and you get arche. but you could also get rke -> rookie (dont call her that though) and rk-9 -> arcanine (this is just because i needed a last character for it and i realized i could make a pokemon joke for the funny)

02A9-R and 02A9-L (still thinkin on codenames BUT) they're not so much my OCs as they are "what units sang daughter of evil and such" yknow

since they are act 1s and their story most likely took place when the vocaloid androids were still being introduced, i don't think there was much in the way of justice for androids caught (or framed) for murder , even of another android. so len was deactivated and rin is on the run! i didn't come up with codes or names for the other cast members , and it's not a 1-1 "daughter of evil in nsotf universe" but i wanted to draw them for the longest time eheh

Like. He has all his info on his person/manually- but considering that most androids can just get easily identified or scanned, he finds it overall too much of a hassle/risk to be worth it- But it's fine, he likes animating enough that he's fine with how things are-

He does still enjoy singing, so he made a makeshift recording booth in his apartment, and just sings covers on a personal channel of his-

made some silly @nextsoundofthefuture ocs - meet cotton, cygnus, and summer! they're underground performers all in a band together. all of them constantly disagree on everything they never know what any of the other two are talking about and they have next to nothing in common. theyre best friends <3

cotton is the youngest of the 3 of them but has also been performing for the longest. pretty much she rolled out into the world and was like "you know what i want to do? perform shitty emo rock music in a bar somewhere." and she just... started doing that. solo at first and then got dragged in with these other 2 goons. she's as stubborn as she is dedicated, and puts on a front of acting like she'd rather be doing everything by herself, but she leans on the other two more than she lets on.

summer was the first one to join up with cotton and turn her solo act into an actual group. she was originally put through some pretty intensive idol training, but she completely bombed and dropped out she decided it wasn't for her and went her own way. after seeing cotton perform, she basically begged her to become a duo until cotton finally gave up and let her join. she's cheerful and fun, but a bit flighty and egocentric, and is pretty ruthless behind her cheerleader-nice-girl-facade.

cygnus was the last member of the band to join. he was found by summer almost entirely by accident, and she essentially dragged him back to cotton like look this guy has crazy talent and cotton was like so do i he isnt special and then let him join. he's incredibly skilled but kind of a pathetic wet dog of a man, but he's able to stop cotton and summer from killing each other over minor disagreements, so it's basically a win for the group as a whole.

as mentioned previously all 3 of them are in a band together, and they also live together for the sake of convenience (this arrangement is hell on earth.) they're all trying to make it big, but they're pretty much stuck in the indie scene for the time being, since there's no way in hell cotton's pride would ever allow her to sign with any kind of agency literally ever.

STAR is a V3 Lily, illegally masquerading as a Kagamine Rin unit. She’s in a Kagamine-only agency, and her “Len” partner is Cicada. She’s rather confident, with a reputation as a loudmouth, but is very good at hiding secrets. Star scoffs at the notion that she’ll ever get caught—that’s downright inconcievable!

CICADA is a V3 Lily, illegally masquerading as a Kagamine Len unit. He’s in a Kagamine-only agency, and his “Rin” partner is Star. He doesn’t talk much, due to severe social anxiety and paranoia. He’s terrified of getting caught, and takes every precaution to avoid being found out.

EYE is a V2 Kaai Yuki with a very successful career as a forger. Its Kiyoteru was deactivated for forgery and aggressive behavior before the android reforms, but he’d already taught Eye his art. Despite being a Yuki model, Eye swears like a sailor. Its test for all potential clients is to see if they can handle its foul mouth!

Star and Cicada are both suspicious of each other, but don’t have any real proof and don’t want to call each other out. They get along pretty well, but their exchanges are mostly superficial.

Eye is friends with both of them—having forged their paperwork—and thinks it’s HILARIOUS how they still haven’t figured it out.

The worldbuilding for @nextsoundofthefuture is so interesting so I wanted to make a couple of in-universe OCs!! Kind of strange making OCs out of pre-existing characters but fun nonetheless!! Here’s some sketchy drawings of the two of them…

X-Ray and Skip are practically inseparable; if you see one, the other is likely not far away! Neither of them belong to an agency, tending toward a more ‘indie’ line of work… X-Ray is the more timid of the two and prefers not to use his voice outside of work purposes (this is due to a somewhat irrational fear of being dismantled for use of his voicebank elsewhere since Pikos aren’t particularly common). This means Skip, the more easygoing and relaxed one, often ends up speaking for him. He doesn’t mind too much though!
