Oc-tober Day 1: OC drawing themself

Itsuki Montgomery actually has artistic talent, which is why he wasn't quite interested in history and had very intricate, colorful paintings in wherever he usually stays in. His walls are filled to the brim with environmental studies, no space left blank. He struggles with painting or drawing actual people, so most of his portraits are splotches. It's fine, because Wu loved them anyway.

Wakano Mirra's first dream before rendered as Alvern's eternal assistant was to become an artist. She was initially very good at portraits, but ever since working with Alvern, she became accustomed to looking at art in a way that extends in the mind. So, when asked to draw herself, she would probably take a moment to reflect herself and come up with an answer before she starts to draw.

Oc-tober Day 2: Them and their favorite flower

Alvern Wand LOVES dahlias, simply because it resembles his personality and love for flora the most. He is fond of fondling these types of flowers, and Kai occasionally finds them hanging in her office. But, what her favorite dahlia is are the black dahlia. Not a coincidence! She also really likes hyacinths and bluebells, and they adorn her formal outfits when they have the chance to show it.

Hideaki Fujimori (Ninjago) is fond of camellias. These flowers were the reason he got together with his wife, before their inevitable end. He usually leaves camellias in his wake, never really seeming to belong anywhere else. His favorite flower post-mortem would be the baby's breath, reminding him of the love that was unjustifiably ripped away from him.

Nozomi’s kimono wasn't described in a lot of detail, but i wanted to give it more than just flat colors bc kimonos are generally very beautifully designed. i didn't wanna go TOO detailed bc those cost money and this village is described as very minimalistic. although i also think Hee-young would splurge and spoil her little siblings; so she either bought this or made it herself :)

nozomi's fit was described as a lavender color so i put some lavender flowers on it as well. both to match and because one of lavender flowers main meanings is 'purity'

the other flowers are cactus flowers!! they symbolize hope. i chose that because *looks at the meaning of the name nozomi*

AND, they cant be seen, but the back of her kimono has dandelions on it!! they too are another symbol for hope, but they can ALSO mean 'wish'. and the name nozomi can also mean 'wish' as well :)

fun fact: i unfortunately wasn't able to add any on her kimono bc it didn't go with the theme, but wind chimes are another symbol for hope. wind chimes. that CAN'T be a coincidence come on.

I finally have an excuse to ramble about my beloveds!!!

Hee-young Ahn- a young woman who, despite her struggles, still continues to smile and be the optimistic light she shares with her siblings.

Lee Ahn- a young boy who wants to be valued more, because he sees himself as the man of the house. Morro dislikes how he sees himself in him.

Nozomi Ahn- the youngest sibling of the Ahn family, and just like her name suggests, she's as innocent as can be.

Alvern Wand- eccentric, beautiful, and mysterious is what I'd call her. He is also a helpful soul who wanted to help people with dealing with their grief, starting with Kai. They have a certain fixation for glass.

Wakano Mirra- Alvern’s assistant. While she looks and acts aloof, she also yearns for a friend outside of her superior.

Itsuki Montgomery- Misako's older brother that was always in her shadow. Despite his aloof and stoic nature, he's not emotionally mature.
